In the Uber, we have Y/N and Ruby in the backseat, and Y/N was humming and bobbing his head to the rock music that was filling the car. Ruby just looked worried and in deep thought as Y/N gently nudged her. "Come on! Smile, you get to look through my house like you wanted!" "Huh..? Oh yeah, I guess you're right." She said that and laughed a little afterwards, figuring out she should just tell him later. "I told Katherine to wait for me since she gets off late today so I can bike back home. Sorry, you'll be bored for awhile. But I can help set your stuff up while I am here." "Oh? Don't you want a nap or to sleep more, considering.." "I'll be fine. Once I interacted with you, my energy was filled up." Y/N gave a big smile, and it made Ruby blush lightly before closing her eyes, looking happy no matter what was going on..Somehow Y/N manages to pull through and get people around him a boost of happiness. "Alright, you two, here's your stop. Thank you for being cooperative and that stuff." "And thanks for the music." He said and Y/N would get out, getting some of her bags, and Ruby wiggled out. "Don't worry, I'll give you a good rating. Cheers!" She waved at the driver once she got her stuff out, and the Uber driver would pull off as Y/N went up the stairs to his apartment door, opening it, and would give a little stretch before walking in and setting her stuff down. Ruby peaked in and walked in, smelling the place. "Oooh what's that candle scent?" "Oh, it's chocolate orange. I'm getting sick of it, though I might switch back to lavender soon." He said that and looked at all her bags. "Jesus, did you bring your set up here as well?" He'd laugh and curiously go through a bag, and his expression went blank. ". . ." "Oh shit is that the one with my panties?" "Ruby.."He said and looked her dead in the eyes; it was a bit scary-looking. "..Uhm..yeah?" "YOU BROUGHT YOUR DAMN GAMING PC!" Ruby would nervously laugh and played with her fingers. "It was a lot of money; why wouldn't I..?" "You brought a monitor as well?!" "Oh, come on, I couldn't have not brought it. Look how cute and curvy it is!" ". . You are so lucky I have a spare desk.." "Yay! Also, we should change things up around here.." "Huh? Is it dirty..?" "Oh no, of course not. Here, if you can do me a favor and help me set up my PC somewhere in your room, that'd be great! I have all my cords and extension cords in that bag with my monitors in there thank youuuu." Y/N rolled his eyes before going to his room and was moving some stuff around. He eventually moved a desk into his room to place her PC stuff on and wondered where he'd put her clothes..yeah he had space, and they knew each other for so long that he debated if their undergarments should be in the same drawer or would that be perverted.. "Hey we've known each other for so long, you can mix my clothes with your clothes if you want; it's not that perverted!" ". . Witch.." Eventually, he heard music from a speaker she apparently had as well. It made you wonder how much she actually brought..she was playing some music that wasn't bad or anything that actually suited her. "🎵You spin me round and rouuunddd! Like a broken record don't you tuuune.. me out!🎵" She was humming the rest of the instrumental and you started to organize and add Ruby's stuff in the room.
This would take a few minutes to a couple of hours..organizing and changing around some things in the apartment.
"Well, that's done. Geez.. She has as many lights on her computer, kind of like I do.." Y/N dimmed the light down and heard the music turn off as he left the room, slowly wondering to the living room, where his eyes widened to the smell of.. Sunlit Mandarin Berry. He looked at the candle in the light and took a look around his new, moved-up living room, with the same furniture, just moved around and tidied up a lot better.
Ruby was on the couch, looking at the TV and humming before looking at Y/N. "You likey?"
"This is..godly. How did you..-" "Us women are magical, I'm telling you." She'd giggle as she patted the spot next to her, and Y/N took a seat. "How much cooking experience do you have?" Ruby asked to lift an eyebrow. "O-oh Uhm..well I'm pretty good!" Y/N said confidently and looked over at the clock; it was 4:39 p.m. "7 hours and some spare change.." Y/N said that and laid down. "Hey Y/N..?" "Mm..?" "Remember how I acted..weird?" "You're always weird.."He closed his eyes, and he got pulled on the cheek. "Oww! Sorry!-" Y/N rubbed his cheek, looking at Ruby. "Remember the guy in the article I told you about all the missing strippers?" "Ooh..?" Y/N was interested. "I'm pretty sure I saw him today..I think he can change his appearance and go by a different name somehow and.." "Hey, are you worried about me getting hurt again?" "Worried for all of us, something has to be going on.." Y/N opened his eyes, looking at Ruby, and he'd move a little bit, resting his head in her lap, and she'd then slowly rub his head. "Fear doesn't look good on you, so don't be scared. I'm sure I'll figure out a way out of that. I already messed up, saying I wouldn't get hurt for your sake of worrying, but..ended up doing so, but I promise to stay alive for you." He smiled. Ruby just looked relieved and watched him close his eyes, just relaxing there. "You..you idiot.." She said, sighing and smiling, and started to laugh at him, but out of care. "He goes through a lot. I should credit him more..maybe tell him who I truly am.." She said, laying back and looking at the TV, that it showed an ad for the pizzeria displaying the new girls as place holders for the girls getting their new design and upgrades. Showing a preview, and Ruby just had a small smile. "Guess you can never escape your job, silly, no matter what you do." She said, rubbing his head as we transitioned away to Mairusu. After handing the designer team his clipboard, he'd been watching the place with his cameras before getting a text from Michael. 'I will not be able to make it tomorrow. Important things, I apologize, but your star worker comes back, doesn't he?' ". . Odd.." 'Yeah, don't worry about it; take as much time as you need?' 'thanks.' Mairusu stared at his phone and thought out loud to himself. "A weird guy..never hated him we always just went out different ways..ugh I should probably head out; they won't be done until tomorrow, so I'll leave them to it." He'd pack his stuff up and waved to those workers, and he walked out of the building before getting into his car. "What could he possibly be up to too..gonna check on Mary at the pizzeria before I go do my own thing just to see how she is holding up since Katherine is leaving soon." He said he started his car up and started to drive back to the pizzeria. It was taking him awhile, but at 5:01 p.m., he got out of his car, walked into the pizzeria, and saw Katherine grab her bag. "Oh, hey, just the guy I wanted to see. I gotta drop Y/N's bike off." "..? Why do you have his bike?" "Long story short..but I didn't steal it if that's what you're worried about." "Ah..I know you wouldn't do that." Katherine smiled and giggled. "Well, I'm off; I'll see you later, kay?" She'd walk off, going to her car, waving as Mairusu walked in looking for Mary, then eventually approached her. "Hey, are you doing alright?" "Hm? Oh, of course, why? What's up? Have another errand for me?" "Ah no, I'll just be doing some research and stuff in my office as usual. I was going to leave, but since Jane isn't coming in today, I'll hang for a bit until Y/N comes in." "That's appreciated; I get overwhelmed easily sometimes." Mary said, smiling at Mairusu as he smiled back and started to head back to his office, working on some side projects in the free time he had. Mainly wondering what Michael was up to and why he suddenly wasn't available. "Hmmrg..maybe I'm thinking too hard about it and something just turned up." He leaned back in his chair. He had the cameras on, and he looked at the new girls to see them doing nicely. It put a smile on his face. "Mary told me Y/N and his friend had an idea..I truly wonder what that would be..it apparently says it'll make things a lot better in the long run. Not that I don't trust them; it seems silly at first, but how can I not consider something from someone who defended this place with their life..still feel sorry for that kid. But he is definitely a hard worker. I wonder..if Michael is working here, is he going to try to get me to help his attraction..? Probably thinking too hard."
