The warmish breeze blew as the dinging of bicycle bells could be heard in the background. The faint sounds of the river flowing and the chatter of people talking amongst themselves was more calming than destiny anticipated. As she was laying on a blanket in the middle of the grassy field at Han River with her eyes closed absorbing the summerish fallish sun.
Destiny Pov
"Babe they didn't have mint choco so i brought you cookies and cream instead" chan plopped himself beside me before handing me my slightly melted ice cream
"Thank you" flashing him a quick smile i sat up and took a lick of the ice cream
"What you did get?" I curiously stared at his cone
"Strawberry, want some?" He places the ice cream cone closer so I could take a bite but swipes it on my nose in the process
"Really Christopher?" I glared at him before taking a bite out of the ice cream
"Wow you use my government name and took a bite out the ice cream you're a maniac"
"But you're dating this maniac so we're on the same boat" i chuckled as he playfully side eyed me
"Touché" he replied as he placed his lips onto the rich ice cream
This was our first date official date and it couldn't have been any better. A picnic at the Han River was something I didn't think i needed until now. I looked over at chan as he munched on his waffle cone and his cheek was smothered with ice cream, it made him look like a messy little kid.
I grabbed a napkin and cleaned his cheek and he gladly moved his face closer with a cute smile displayed on it. His beautiful dimples revealed themselves as his eyes disappeared into a thin line.
"Awww channie you're such a baby" i cooed at him pinching him cheeks and he chuckled sending butterflies straight to my stomach
"Im only cute for you, don't tell the kids" he joked while pulling me closer to close the gap between us placing a kiss on my lips.

"When did you start liking me?" I choked on air, the question came so sudden and I wasn't sure on how to respond
Chan's eyes were scanning my face as if looking for a response in my expression, i looked at him and could tell he was serious about it.
"You suddenly wanna know? Why now? You know you caught me off guard just now right?" my lips quickly formed into a pout as i began to think about the answer
"Umm im not sure but i did think you were handsome the first day we met" i revealed and he gasped taking a hold of my hands and swinging them around
"REALLY NOW?! I thought you were cute when we met."
"Yeah i know im cute and you were alright i guess" sarcastically rolling my eyes chuckling along with him
"Yeah I thought you were handsome but I didn't want to get into anything at the time because....you know" a sigh escaped my lips as i let my head fall onto his shoulder moving closer to the crook of his neck if that was even possible.
"Yeah i know" his arm traveled around my shoulders and pulled me into a comforting side hug
"Hey you remember that night when we were on the balcony after you told us about running away from home?" He questioned and i hummed in response shifting to look up at him as our gazes met I thought back to that night.
"I really meant it when i said i hope you can get away from it all and that when you're ready we can talk about it"
"Chan-" he cut me off before I could say anything else
"We don't need to talk about it right now. Its our time right now but i did want to give you this" he softly spoke as he reached into the picnic basket that was placed off to the side.
In his hand was an envelope as he soon placed it in mine i curiously looked at him and he only smiled followed by a gesture to open it.
Carefully opening the envelope i came face to face with a plane ticket with a destination to san degio. I couldn't believe it, the thought he must of put into this and the genuine love radiated just from a simple piece of paper
"You're kidding" excitement coursed through my entire body
"I hoped you'd liked it" he said sighing of relief
"Like it?! Channie i love it, thank you so much" i let myself fall into his embrace not knowing how to thank him for being the greatest boyfriend and for all the things he's ever done for me.
"It wasn't a problem, I would do anything to make you happy and i mean anything."
"Even if i told you to beat up minho?" I smirked knowing what his response would be
"Absolutely not, minho is out of the question you pick your battles" he quick retreated from the question making me chuckle
"Aside from that thank you chan, really this means a lot to me" wrapping my arms around his neck and placing small pecks onto every inch of his handsome face
"Im glad you love it but i have one more thing to show you" he stood up abruptly with an outreached hand.
"Wait we have to go somewhere?" I inquired curiously
"Yeah! So get up before i change my mind" he teased so I quickly grabbed his hand, packed up everything and we made our way on the path beside the Han River
It was almost 4 pm but the sun was almost setting and the scenery along with the cool breeze was amazing. We walk by many street vendors and playgrounds filled with children and parents, which quickly brought the thought of my mother back into my head. I had to find her again and i hate myself for not jumping into action and not confronting her right there and then. If had told one if the boys...if i had told chan i know he would've encouraged me to talk to her.
I stared at the man who walk with me hand in hand smiling from ear to ear. I wasn't gonna ruin it, most definitely not now. If i had to figure this out it would be on my own.
"We're here" chan announced as we stopped in front of a restaurant
As he read the confusion displayed on my face he chuckled pulling me towards him and whispering in my ear
"This is my second surprise" he smiled even wider than before as we walked into the nice hispanic restaurant.
It was nice of him to bring me to a hispanic restaurant but I wasn't really sure as to why we were here in the first place. Upon entering i was slapped by an overwhelming amount of nostalgia, from the music playing in the background to the smell of food that made my mouth salivate.
There were different flags hung up around the restaurant representing all the hispanic countries and as i panned around to take it all in my eyes fixated on a certain group sitting in the corner of the restaurant.
"Reina? Mia?" I was shocked to see my high school friends causally sitting with my recently new friends and family.
I swiftly turned to chan who old shrugged with a cheeky smile
"Surprise!" He giggled
I couldn't believe the lengths this man goes for me, even though we haven't been together long he still finds ways to make me extremely happy. Although just a simple smile or kiss could brighten my day a million times more he still goes above and beyond. Right now in this moment i was sure i was in love with this man even if i haven't been with him for long. I was sure that i was in love with Christopher Bang Chan.

"So you seriously came here with no plan whatsoever ?" Reina shocking looked at Destiny.
"Yeah i just flew out here no plan or nothing. Luckily this nut job over here took me off the streets." Pointing at Felix who side eyed destiny from across the table
"I should've left you to the rat" he joked
"I would have" Minho sneered while taking a bite out of his taco
"Of course you would have cuz you MEAN HOE" she threw back only to be thrown a death glare
"I see you two get along" Mia jokingly/sarcastically commented causing seungmin and changbin to giggle
"Im kinda glad he picks on her now cause that used to be me" seungmin laughed and Destiny kicked him under the table
"OW" he jolted back and chan looked at her sternly
"Don't look at me, if you would control your kid I wouldn't have to hit him." She defended
"Isn't he you're kid too if your dating chan hyung?" Jeongin smirked and that little kid knew what he was doing.
Both chan and Destiny went silent
