"Oh boys" I laughed as I walked onto the stage "miss me?"
"More than you know" Adam said through gritted teeth.
"I know, I'm just that likeable" I smiled, tucking the folder under my arm.
"Exactly, I mean who would not love the great Kadie Kardashian" Adam replied
"Kadie Kardashian Stan actually and trust me I know, I mean look at you, you took at 7 hour flight just to see me!" I yelled with fake enthusiasm "aren't I just the best"
"Personally I think your a monster" Benjamin pipped up
"Well personally I prefer the term arrogant god but thank you anyway Benji" I smiled
"Kade honey I wouldn't provoke Benji right now" Adam smiled from across the stage as he sat on top of a storage box
"I'm about two seconds away" Benjamin said taking a few quick steps towards me.
Multiple red dots appeared on his forehead as he got closer
"I wouldn't do that if I were you Benji" I smiled "I have nearly a hundred security guards in this room who's only job is too keep me safe and out of danger. You being in here alone is already pushing it, so you can understand their eagerness to eliminate the one threat that faces my safety"
"You wouldn't, you'd be in prison for murder" Benjamin said, looking slightly outraged mixed with a little bit of panic
"I think Benjamin, your more aware than anyone else about the power I hold in those types of situations" I smiled again. I slowly turned around and walked over to the second platform of the stage and sat down "so what actually brings you both here, London especially considering your mother lives in wales"
"Can't we just pay our client a visit on her special night?" Adam said
"Give it up Adam. Kadie we know what you did"
"Be my wonderful, amazing self?"
"Break into our offices in LA"
"Oh yes, that"
"What did you see?" Adam asked
"Some cheap, tacky interior design" I shrugged
"Kadie I swear to god"
"Calm down, I didn't actually see anything ok. I tried to get in but your security stopped me and sent me back out"
"We literally saw you on the cctv from outside the building of you on the top floor"
"That's exactly what happened, I went to the top floor but some guy found me and sent me back down. I'm telling the truth, if I did actually see something don't you think I'd be holding it over your heads right now?"
"No cause that's not how you- "
"Anyway enough with the chit chat" I interrupted "I have a proposition for you" I said with a slight smile
"And what is this proposition may I ask?" Benjamin asked
"Sell my management firm to emily Harlow and leave me alone forever" I said, dropping my face
"Funny" Adam laughed
"Why on earth would we do that?" Benjamin said
"Because I stumbled across these documents a few days ago. And I'm sure you'd hate for these to fall into the wrong hands" I held out the paper folder, they both shared a look before Benjamin grabbed them from my hand. He opened it and started quickly reading
"You and your brother have made a number of attempts to gain money over the last few years. They really are all pathetic. Between not paying taxes, stealing from your employers and employees. And launching a program with Bill Tony that over the last four years has stolen a nearly a quarter of a billion dollar from the US government. You let bill take the fall two months ago and he's in jail for life, that's why you came to me so desperate for money cause your bank accounts were connected to bills and were substantially frozen. You don't have a penny to your name, either of you"
"I can assure you, the government wouldn't be happy if they found out you two were at the top of one of the biggest robberies in the US. Your well aware of this and it's why you let Bill Tony take the fall. Sell my management firm to Emily Harlow or I'll not only hand these documents over to the government but I'll release them on my instagram to five hundred million followers. I can have you in jail for life by morning"
Both of them looked shocked to the core. Completely and utterly shocked. Benjamin was still looking down at the paper, but his eyes weren't moving, he's probably trying to think of what to do next. Adam had sat down and was staring at the wall behind me with an open mouth. Both of them were completely silent for a moment
"And how do we know you'd hold onto these documents if we were to sell volume nine to mrs Harlow?" Adam muttered
"My word is all I can give you. I won't release these documents, I'll hold onto them incase any time in the future you decide to pull something on me again"
"What about the money?" Benjamin said, taking his eyes off the paper and looking up slowly "you said sell volume nine, who gets the money from the sale? And I sure as hell know Emily doesn't have ten million to spare"
"I'll give Emily the money, call it a Christmas gift so to say. And I figure you can keep the money from the sale, it's enough for you two to leave and never come near me or my family ever again"
"How the fuck did you even get these documents?" Benjamin said
"I think you know exactly how I obtained these documents. You helped me get started in the area" I smiled
"And what if we were to reveal your little secret? How you obtained these documents and everything going on in the background of your life" Benjamin said
"Then I'd not only release these documents but I'd have you killed as I'm sure your well aware of"
"Is that a threat?" Adam asked
"Did it sounds like a compliment?"
"And how would the world react to the great Kadie Kardashian Stan murdering someone?" Benjamin said
"I'm a billionaire, I could have a county demolish and the rest of the world would never even find out. And you know my secret, you know what I could do"
"So what?" Adam speaks up "to keep this document a secret, we sell Mrs Harlow the management company, we keep the ten million and then we just have to disappear"
"Precisely" I smiled.
I looked back at Benjamin. I can tell exactly what he's thinking. He's wondering how he'll explain this to Kris Jenner, but knowing the brothers, they'll probably take the money and run without looking back.
"Kadie ma'am, I'm afraid it's been long enough, these two are a breach of safety not only to you but to the London palladium and we need to escort them off the premises" a security guard said appearing at the side of the stage
"That's fine, they were just leaving now anyway"
"I'm keeping this" Benjamin muttered, holding up the folder
"Oh my lord, it's like that's the only copy in the world of those documents"
"We'll be seeing you again soon I'm sure Kadie" Adam said, sending a nod in my direction
"Eat glass Adam"
"Always the charmer" he said through a strained smile
I smiled at the two of them before walking off the stage and into the backstage area.
Finally for once and for all finished with the Brooklyn brothers.
I hope anyway.
