"Raihan? What are you doing here?" Y/N asked him as he walked into her room. "And why are you soaking wet?"
"I was walking through the city, and thought I should come see you. Then it started to rain." he answered, while something seemed off.
She ran to the bathroom to grab a towel so he could get out of his wet clothes. "Take your jacket off, you're going to get sick if you stay in it."
He nodded, and took his jacket and shirt off to reveal his chiseled body, which made Y/N blush. She could tell he was fit, but this was something else. His arms were huge and he had a six pack; it made her want him even more.
"H-here, use this towel." she stuttered, as she put the towel around him.
She grabbed his wet clothes and went to hang them up in the bathroom, as she told Ninetales to go dry them off.
"Now, do you want to tell me what's really going on?" she asked as she gathered herself, and tried not to let his body distract her even more.
"I just wanted to see you, Y/N. I didn't know when you would be back from dinner, so I walked around the city until it started to rain; then I came here."
"How did you even know I went to dinner?" she questioned. She didn't tell him, so someone must have.
"Oh, uh, Leon told me..." he admitted. "He thought you were going to meet up with me."
"Huh. Makes sense." she shook her head and rolled her eyes.
"Who did you go with? Was it a date?"
"Was it a date?" she laughed. "No. But why would it matter if it was? You've seemed to be pretty busy with Nicki."
"Then who did you go with?"
She hadn't seen this side of Raihan yet. She was used to the cocky, confident, charming guy that he usually was, but tonight he seemed to be almost insecure.
"I went to dinner with Chairman Rose. He wanted to celebrate my win." she answered, annoyed that he decided to ignore her comment.
As he looked confused, he seemed to be relieved to know it wasn't a date that she had gone on. He sighed, and laid down on the bed, putting the towel to the side of it.
"Oh, why did he want to do that?"
"Honestly? I still have no idea." she chuckled, as she sat next to him.
She knew she shouldn't give him too much information about the things that were said, so she wanted to try and change the subject.
"You're not going to say anything about what I said?"
"I don't really know what to say, Y/N." he responded, which made her upset.
"Then why are you here and not with her?"
"Because she's just a friend, and you're not." he started. "I didn't want to interrupt your time with Barry and Lucas."
"So you thought ignoring me and hanging out with a girl who has caused issues before was the way to go?"
"I don't-"
"You know she followed me on pokégram, right? I saw her story with her all over you at the club. Not to mention how she was with you at MY battle and how she was towards me. How was your double date by the way? Doesn't seem like you are just friends..."
Raihan sat up, and grabbed her hand. He turned her face that was away from him, towards him so he could look into her eyes before speaking.
"Nothing happened. You are the only one I care for, and want to be with. I promise." he said, while giving her those eyes she couldn't resist.
"Raihan, I don't know..." she looked away.
"I'm falling for you, Princess." he admitted, which made her look back at him. "Can you really say you don't feel the same?"
Y/N knew everything in her was telling her to send him away, but all she wanted was to have him stay. Despite what Hop, Rose, or anyone could say, she couldn't help how she felt. She knew it was a bad idea, yet, she was falling for him anyway; it was inevitable.
"Raihan, I... You should know how I feel about you by now..." she started to say, "But that doesn't change how you've been the past couple of days."
"I'm sorry sweetheart. Truly."
Her mind and her heart were battling each other. Raihan had to have known bringing Nicki to her battle with Barry and going out to the club with her would've hurt Y/N's feelings, yet he did it anyways. And now he expects her to forgive him just like that?
She wanted more than anything to be able to send him away and forget about him, but she couldn't. She had a feeling he was going to hurt her in the end, but she had missed him and he was telling her everything she wanted to hear, so she couldn't help but give in.
"Whatever, Raihan..." she stood up to walk away, but he grabbed her hand and pulled her back to him.
As they sat there on the bed, he looked into her E/C eyes, and leaned in to kiss her.
As she kissed him back, he pulled her in as he picked her up and put her on his lap. He was being passionate and a little aggressive, as he had resisted her for too long.
Raihan put Y/N's hair to one side, then put his hands under her shirt, as he went from kissing her lips, to down her neck. He continued to go lower, and she couldn't help but start to moan, as it felt too good.
As he was kissing her neck, he left little bite marks on her, which felt even better than she expected. He went to take her shirt off, and asked if it was okay before doing anything else. She agreed, and lifted her arms up as he took it off.
This was the furthest she had been with any guy, and she was nervous but surprisingly felt comfortable as Raihan was being slow and gentle when he needed to be.
He looked at her in awe, and admired her body. She was so beautiful, and that made it even harder for him to contain himself. He went back to kissing her neck, and he slowly trailed down her chest.
Y/N's body tensed up, and she continued to moan at the touch of his mouth against her. The feel of his bulge underneath her started to excite her, and she put one hand in his hair and the other on his back, as she was digging her fingers in it.
He moved his hands from down her back to her butt, and sighed once he felt the lace thong she had on. It just felt like she was trying to tease him. He started to kiss her again while she was on still top, then decided to place her on her back as he got on top.
They continued to kiss, and Raihan started moving his hand down her chest, to her stomach, then even lower. As Y/N felt his hand trailing down her body, she asked him to stop.
"Is everything okay, sweetheart?" he asked, concerned.
"Y-yes, but could we take a little break?" she sighed, as she felt things were moving too fast.
"Of course, whatever you're comfortable with."
He got off and laid next to her, as she got under the covers because she didn't know where her shirt was. She had let herself get caught up in the moment, and almost wished she hadn't. She always enjoyed her time with him, but was still hurt by the past couple days. He could tell something was off, and he hoped he hadn't upset her.
"Did I do something, Princess?" he questioned.
"No, it wasn't anything you did..." she started to say, "I just, uh, haven't done that before..."
"Haven't done what?" still confused, but wanting to make sure she was okay.
"I mean, anything I guess... that was the most I've done before." she admitted.
'Wait, she's a virgin?!' he thought to himself, trying not to let his facial expressions show too much. That was the last thing he thought she was going to say, and he felt guilty for trying to do more than she might have been ready for. If he had known, he never would have tried to go that far.
He thought she and Barry had a more serious relationship, but now knew it never got too physical. He felt stupid for letting himself get so insecure, and wish he had just talked to her about it in the first place.
"Oh." he said. "I didn't know that."
"I mean, it's not something you brag about so..." she laughed, as he did too.
"Well yeah," he smiled, "but if I had known I wouldn't have tried any of that. The last thing I want you to think is that I was trying to pressure you into anything... So I'm sorry."
"Oh no, I didn't think that at all." she blushed, as she cupped his face. "I honestly was really enjoying it."
"Oh yeah?" he smirked, as she giggled.
If there was anything Raihan knew how to do, it was please a woman. He had his fair share of practice in the past, and had received plenty of compliments.
But hknew moving forward with Y/N, things would be different than how they were with the women of his past. He wanted to move at her pace and only do what she was comfortable with.
She continued to blush, as she leaned in to give him a sweet kiss. He pulled himself back, as he knew it was smart to take a breather. He sat up and leaned over the bed and gave her her shirt back.
"Thanks." she giggled, as he covered his eyes so she could it back on.
"Do you want me to stay?" he asked her.
"Yes, I do." she smiled, as she cuddled up to him and rubbed her nose against his.
It took everything in him not to tell her he loved her, but he knew it was best to wait. He gave her a kiss, and then his eyes grew wide as he noticed she was still wearing the necklace he gave her.
"You still have it on?" he asked as he picked the necklace charm up.
"Oh, yeah." she blushed. "I never took it off."
"I'm glad you like it, Princess."
"Can we go to bed now?" she yawned. "I had such a long day."
"Of course. Goodnight, love."
"Goodnight, Rai." she kissed him once more, then laid on his chest and went to sleep.
The next morning, Y/N woke up to the sound of knocking at her door. While Raihan was still asleep, and shirtless, she tip toed over to see who was there and cracked the door open to see Hop outside her door.
"Oh, uh, hey Hop. What are you doing here?" she asked.
"Well good morning to you too!" he laughed. "Can I come in?"
"Um, I'm still waking up so maybe later?" she sweat dropped.
"That's never been a problem before?" he questioned. "Why can't I come in?"
"Hop..." she hesitated. "It's just not a good time."
As Hop continued to look at her, now halfway outside the door, he noticed a couple small marks on her neck.
"What's that?" he pointed to her neck, as she quickly moved her hand to cover it.
"Oh, it's nothing." she lied.
"Y/N, what is going on?" he asked as he moved her hand to see the love marks left by Raihan. "Oh Arceus... Who did that to you?"
"Can we just have this conversation later? I'll come to your room." she offered, trying to get him to leave so they wouldn't wake up Raihan.
"It was Raihan, wasn't it?"
She looked at Hop, and didn't know what to say as he shook his head.
"Look mate, you and I need to talk about something. I suggest you go in there and ask Raihan leave to, then come to my room right after." he exhaled.
Hop knew Leon wanted him to wait til Barry and Lucas left to tell her what was said between Raihan and Piers, but he knew he couldn't wait any longer. He could see Y/N was starting to fall for Raihan, and he had to stop it. She was setting herself up to get hurt.
"Oh, okay?"
"Please, just do that for me. I'll see you soon." he walked down the hallway to his room, as she closed the door.
She knew Hop was upset that she let Raihan stay, but what did he need to talk about? It seemed pretty important, so she went back into her room to get dressed and ask Raihan to leave.
"Good morning Princess." he yawned, as he stretched his arms and sat up.
"Good morning." she smiled. "Your clothes should be all dry now."
"Well thank you, my love." he pulled her in for a quick kiss, as she went to the bathroom to change.
She came out dressed and ready to go see Hop, as she handed him his shirt and jacket.
"Where are you off to?" he asked.
"I'm going to meet up with Hop." she replied.
"Want me to come?" he offered.
"No, it's okay." she smiled as she sat on his lap, and put her arms around his neck. "I'll see you a bit later though?"
"Sounds good, sweetheart. I'll head home and shower, and then see what you guys are up to." he kissed her cheek, as she stood up to walk him out.
As he got dressed, they left her hotel room and went in separate directions. Once Y/N was at Hops door, she knocked and was soon let in by him. They walked in and he motioned for her to sit on the couch, as he sat on the bed facing her.
"So..." he started.
"So?" she laughed.
"This is serious Y/N. We need to talk."
"Okay Hop. What about?" she asked, giggling.
"Look," he started in a serious tone, "I know I have told you to be careful with Leon and Raihan, and have given many reasons as to why, but I found something out recently that I don't think you're going to like..."
"What do you mean?" she stopped smiling, and now had a concerned look on her face.
"You know how I told you Raihan was a player? And the way he is with you is the same way he acts towards a lot of other women, right?"
She nodded.
"Well, how do I say this without it sounding too harsh..." he hesitated.
"Just say it, Hop."
"Apparently, at the opening ceremony for the gym challenge, he and Piers made a bet that had to do with him getting you to sleep with him. So that is probably why he's been so nice, and has given you gifts... I don't think any of it was ever real."
"Wh-what are you talking about?"
Y/N didn't even know what to say. She wanted to believe he was lying, but Hop wouldn't lie to her. Was this all just a big game to Raihan? Did he ever mean anything he said?
As she thought back to the night before, some of it made sense and some didn't. Once he got there, he told her what she wanted to hear and then tried to hook up with her. If she hadn't told him to stop, they probably would have. But why keep it going for so long? And why would he say he was falling for her just to get to sleep with her?
"I'm sorry, Y/N. I just thought you should know. I've been wanting to tell you and I couldn't wait any longer." he admitted.
"Wait, so you've known about this and decided not to tell me?" she questioned, as she got mad.
"Only for a few days, but-"
"But what? You should have told me, Hop. Before last night, before everything." she whined, as tears started to fill her eyes.
"I'm sorry Y/N, Leon wanted me to wait and I just couldn't anymore."
"So Leon knew about this too? And kept it from me? What, is he in on the same bet or something?"
"I... I don't know. He just said Raihan and Piers..." Hop said, before admitting more. "I know Lee cares about you, but he still has feelings for Sonia too. Which is why I kept telling you to be careful."
"Yeah, got it. You were right and I was wrong."
"No, Y/N, this isn't about that. You're my best friend and I love you. I was just trying to look out for you. I should have told you the night Leon told me, so I'm sorry." he apologized, as she wiped a tear away.
"No, you're right." she sighed. "I'm being a bitch. I know you wouldn't intentionally keep this from me, and I'm sure it's awkward being in the middle of me and your brother. Thank you for telling me."
"Is there anything I can do?" he asked, as he got up to hug her.
"No, I don't think so."
She was at a loss of words. This wasn't Hops fault at all, so she didn't need to take her anger out on him. He wasn't making Leon or Raihan lead her on for weeks now. And just so they could try to sleep with her? Seriously?
It had to be something between Leon and Raihan. Why else would they keep this up? To see who would 'get to sleep with Y/N' first? It made sense why they kept Nicki and Sonia around. It was all a game for them. Y/N knew they were rivals, but competing for this was something else.
"Hop, I'm going to go. I need some air."
"Do you want me to come with you? Are you okay?"
"No, and no i'm not. I just, I don't know... I need to think."
"Can we at least meet up later? What about Barry and Lucas?"
"Yeah. And I don't know. They're probably leaving today or tomorrow." she got up and headed to the door, as she stopped and looked at Hop before leaving. "Thank you for telling me, Hop. I'll see you later, okay?"
"Alright, Y/N." he frowned, as she left the room.
Unsure of what to do, Y/N texted Barry that she was heading to the wild area for the day. Maybe some training would help get her mind off things. As she got off the elevator and entered the lobby, she saw Leon.
"Hey Y/N! I just told Hop I was here, I wanted to see what you guys were up to today?" he smiled at her.
As she was walking towards the front doors, he tried to stop her but she ignored him. She barely even looked at him as she continued moving forward, and left the hotel. He was confused, but saw he had a text from Hop that told him to meet him in his room.
Y/N made her way to Hammerlocke Hills, as it was an easy area for Barry and Lucas to meet up with her. They told her they were on their way, and she waited.
She sat under a tree, with the sunlight shining down on her as her partner Ninetales laid on her lap. Her mind kept replaying every moment she had spent with Leon and Raihan, and she knew she had to stop before she got even more upset.
As Barry and Lucas approached, they both seemed to look upset. She didn't think there was any way they could have known what Hop told her, so she didn't bring it up. Once they reached Y/N, they sat down next to her.
"What's wrong guys?" she asked.
"Do you want the good news or bad news first?" Barry asked in response.
"I guess the good news?"
"So, the good news is, it's still early in the day..."
"And the bad news?" she questioned.
"Our flight home leaves in a few hours..." Lucas sighed.
"Oh." she frowned.
Y/N was sad to hear that they were leaving, but was at least happy that she could spend a little bit more time with them. She decided that she wouldn't bring up her dinner with Rose, her night with Raihan, or her conversation with Hop.
The last she needed was for them to worry about her, and she wanted to enjoy their last couple of hours together. She knew it wouldn't be the last time she saw them, but for now, she wanted to make the most of things.
"Professor Rowan needs us back, and I need to try taking on the Elite four again." Barry exhaled.
"Well, that's really shitty." she laughed. "But I get it. I'm glad we have a little bit more time to spend together." she smiled, and they both agreed as they gave Y/N a hug.
"Maybe when I defeat Cynthia and you defeat Leon, we can have another battle." Barry teased.
"Sounds good to me." Y/N replied. "Should we train a little bit more before you guys have to go? I wouldn't mind getting a bit more training in while I get ready for the next gym leader."
"Let's do it!" Barry exclaimed. "Are Hop and Marnie not coming?"
"No, I think they're busy today..." she lied. "I'm not sure."
"Well, at least we get to enjoy this time together." Lucas smiled, as Y/N led them towards the Giants Mirror.
Y/N called out Gyarados, as she wanted him to get a couple battles in before taking on Gordie. She knew he didn't need it, but it couldn't hurt to train a little.
Lucas sent out Torterra, as Barry sent out Roserade. They wanted Gyarados to have a type disadvantage, so he could get the most out of their training.
As the next couple of hours went by, they trained harder then ever and enjoyed each others company, as the boys would head back to Sinnoh soon.
They were having a great afternoon until Lucas checked the time, and noticed they should head to the airport soon. As they returned their pokémon, except for Ninetales, they made their way back to the hotel so Barry and Lucas could get their things and check out.
Y/N hoped more than anything that she wouldn't have to run into anyone she knew, she was finally enjoying herself and knew that feeling would end once she said goodbye to her friends. Once they got to the hotel, the boys ran up to their room, while Y/N waited in the lobby.
As she sat their with Ninetales by her side, she decided to check her phone and noticed a few missed calls from Leon and Raihan. She didn't want to deal with anything, so she texted Hop an update on her day, and turned her phone off.
Once Barry and Lucas returned to the lobby, they checked out at the front desk, and went up to Y/N.
"Is that everything?" she asked sadly, as the boys both nodded.
"I guess this is goodbye then..." she started to say, "for now, right?"
"Yes, we'll stay in touch. Promise." Barry smiled.
The three of them went outside of the hotel, and called a flying taxi to take the boys to the airport. It shortly landed there after, and Y/N gave Barry then Lucas a hug, and said goodbye.
"Let me know when you make it back home!" she sniffled, as she watched them leave and slowly fade away.
"Looks like it's just you and me, girl." she patted her partners head, as she cooed at her.
There was still daylight out, so Y/N and Ninetales decided to head back to the wild area. This time, to relax. She had done enough training that day, and wanted to spend some quality time with her team.
She let out each pokémon one by one, and decided to bring her tent out, as she didn't want to stay in the hotel that night. Ninetales and Lucario helped her set it up, as she turned her phone on to send Hop one more text before turning it off.
She told him she was going to camp out for the night, and that she was fine. She also mentioned that Barry and Lucas had left, and if she needed anything she wouldn't hesitate to call him. As she put her phone back in her bag, she brought out some things to make curry for her team.
It had been a long, fun but upsetting day, and she was starving. As she finished up dinner, she served her team a plate each, and they all watched the sunset and ate together. Hopefully tomorrow would be a better day, and it would be easier for Y/N to not have to worry about anything other than her next gym challenge.

The next morning, Y/N woke up early enough to watch the sunrise, like she usually would when she camped out. She and Ninetales sat together as they took in the view, before deciding to pack everything up and head back to the hotel.
There was a hurricane coming in a few days, and Y/N wanted to try and defeat the next gym leader before that happened. She planned to head to Circhester that day and take on Gordie, the rock gym leader, and hoped that Hop and Marnie would accompany her.
As they made their way back into town, it was still pretty early, so Y/N decided to stop at a cafe to get coffee and some breakfast. As she and Ninetales arrived at one, she brought out her phone and turned it back on. She had a few missed calls from Hop, and a couple texts from Leon and Raihan asking where she was and why she wasn't answering them.
She decided to delete the messages, and almost deleted one on accident. Barry and Lucas had let her know they made it home safe, and her heart felt warm.
It was refreshing being able to reconnect with her old friends, and she was glad that she saw them and was able to get closure from Barry. She could finally put the past behind her, and move forward. If only she didn't have to do the same thing with Leon and Raihan...
She sat at a table outside the bakery and ate her breakfast and drank her coffee, as she scrolled on pokégram. She smiled as she saw Barry and Lucas post some pictures with Y/N and of their visit to Galar, but then started got upset as she saw some pictures of Raihan and Nicki at the club on her feed.
Had they gone again? Or were they old pictures? She shook her head and scrolled past them, as she now saw pictures of Sonia and Leon together in Wedgehurst. She couldn't catch a break.
She closed her phone, and finished her meal as she and Ninetales made their way back to the hotel.
They walked in and headed straight through the lobby to the elevator, making sure to avoid anyone who could have been there. Once they got back to their room, Y/N took a shower and started to get ready to head to Circhester.
As she finished getting ready, she packed a few extra clothes because she knew the city would be colder than she was used to. She made her way out of her room, then stopped by Hops room and knocked on the door.
To her surprise, Leon came to answer the door. Although he looked happy to see her, she didn't feel the same.
"Well good morning Y/N! I've been trying to ca-"
"Where's Hop?" she cut him off.
"Uh, he's inside." he muttered.
He held the door open and she walked past him and saw Hop putting his shoes on in the living area.
"Y/N! I didn't know you were stopping by." Hop questioned. "I'm glad you're okay. Marnie and I were worried about you."
"So was I." Leon chimed in. "Where have you been? I tried calling you."
"Yeah, I'm sorry about yesterday, Hop. I just needed some space and then I had to say goodbye to Barry and Lucas and you know about the rest." she said, ignoring Leon.
"Well don't do it again." he joked, but was somewhat serious.
"Barry and Lucas left?" Leon questioned, still trying to get a response.
"Deal." Y/N smiled at Hop. "I was planning on heading to Circhester today, I was hoping you and Marnie would want to come?"
"Yeah! That would be great, mate! Just the three of us continuing on our journey again!" he exclaimed.
"Great! Is Marnie up? I can go to her room and see?"
"I think she's getting ready, but I'm sure she'd love to see you and know you're okay."
"Okay, I'll head there now and we'll meet you in the lobby." she said as she left the room, not even looking at Leon once.
"Am I missing something?" he questioned.
"So, uh," Hop hesitated, "I kind of sorta had to tell her about what you said, about Raihan and Piers, and she didn't take it well." he sweat dropped.
"Hop!" Leon scolded. "I told you to wait."
"Yeah well that was before Raihan gave her bite marks on her neck, and who knows what else." Hop said, which made Leon's eyes grow wide.
"He did what now?"
"Lee, I'm asking you again, please just leave her alone. She knows about you and Sonia, and Raihan and Nicki, and the bet. It's over. You don't have to continue this act anymore."
"What are you talking about? There is no 'me and Sonia' or even 'Raihan and Nicki' as far as I know. This isn't a game to me."
"You don't need to lie to me, just please, give her some space and leave her alone. Both of you. We need to focus on our next gym challenge, that's what matters." Hop said as he grabbed his things and headed to the door, as his brother called out his name.
"Hop, wait." he sighed. "I'm falling for her..."
Hop stopped in his tracks, and turned around in shock to look at his brother. "You're what?"
