Maddy had been hiding out in the bathroom for nearly two hours hyper-ventilating about the situation at hand. She had decided long ago that there was no use in trying to calm down bcease she simply couldn't. Maddy took a shaky breath and stood to look in the mirror. The girl staring back at her was a sad sight that Maddy was not prepared for. This girl had puffy blood-shot eyes and tear stained cheeks with a rudolf red nose. She grumbled and proceeded to cry yet again. She then heard a quiet knock on the door. "Who is it?" She said, her voice wavering. "It's me Draco, are you alright?" He asked with obvious worry in his voice. "I'm fine just taking a bath" Maddy said hastily. "Maddy I know something's wrong and besides if you were taking a bath the water would be running" he pointed out. "Nothing s wrong okay just leave me alone!" She shouted, her voice breaking slightly as she cried. "I'm coming in" Draco said softly opening the door and quietly closing it behind him. Draco walked up yo her and wordlessly wrapped his strong arms around her fragile frame.
Maddy let herself melt into his arms and forget about her problems for a moment but they came rushing back all too quickly. She detached herself from his arms and wiped away her tears. "There's something I need to tell you" she said walking over to the bathtub and picking up the pregnancy test. "Here" she said placing it in his hand. "Is this what I think it is?" Draco quedtioned in a state of shock. "Yeah, I'm pregnant" Maddiy said looking down at her feet. "Thats amazing! I'm so happy!" Draco said. Maddy gasped and looked up to see him grinning like a little kid on Christmas. "Your happy?" She asked hopefully " of course I'm happy" He said hugging her tightly. Maddy smiled as he kissed her forehead. "Are you scared?" She asked after a moment of silence. "Terrified" he said "Me too" she mumbled.
Draco ended up carrying Maddy all the way back to her dorm. Her excuse had been that she was tired and it was technically his fault since it was his child which had he couldn't really argue. He laughed as she shouted "Onward!" in his arms.
They finally reached her dorm and he gently placed her on the floor. "Wanna dance?" She asked out of the blue. "Right now?" Draco asked puzzled. "Duh when else" she said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. She then walked over to her record player and chose a record. A popular muggle song started to play called "Love Me Like You Do". She then stood on her tiptoes and placed her arms around his neck as they swayed back and forth to the melody.

Draco mouthed the words to her as they danced. The song ended and he leaned in and kissed her passionately on the lips. He then kneeled down and kissed her stomach lightly and whispered "I love you both so much" Maddy giggled. "You do know you look rather ridiculous" She said rolling her eyes "I don't care" he laughed and then proceeded to kiss her even more.
They fell asleep that night in each others arms with Draco's hand resting protectively on Maddy's stomach.
