▸ 𝐀𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐏 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋𝐒 entrance where hundreds of other students were going through you couldn't help but think about two certain teen boys. They have been clouding your mind lately which isn't good since you need to stay focused at all times in class.
A smile crept on your face at the thought of them, man you were whipped and yet you hardly know them.
You passed through the security and metal detectors calmly walking towards the less busy side of the hallway.
𝐶𝐿𝐼𝐶𝐾 𝐶𝐿𝐼𝐶𝐾
You heard clicking and clunking sounds repeatedly growing closer from behind you and you turned to see Freddy with a smile on his face as he made his way towards you, his darken curls bouncing under his blue striped familiar hat as he limped quickly which surprised you.
Freddy stopped in front of you catching his breath as you hunched over a bit, you were saddened at this but your face still had a slight smile.
"Wow! You walk pretty damn fast" Freddy perked upon saying this causing you to let out a chuckle butterflies automatically took flight in his stomach at the sound
"Sorry I hate being in big crowds" you said, your gaze lifting to the nearly crowded hallway. They nodded in understanding.
"Me and Billy saw you walking and decided to meet you" Freddy let out a half hearted laugh as you did before you stopped and looked at Freddy with confusion.
"Where is Billy, by the way?" Your curiosity got the best of you and as he was about to answer a soft voice rang out followed by fast steps.
"Jesus Freddy I told you to wait" Billy suddenly appeared by your side, his red jacket jolting as he came to a fast stop.
Freddy waved his hand up in a soothing manner "you walk too slow" you smiled at what he said looking at billy.
Billy just rolled his eyes and glared back at Freddy before glancing back at you with a soft expression, his green eyes practically sparkling.
"So where's your class?" Billy asked, looking at you expectedly his eyes looking deep into yours. You smiled at that but they didn't seem to notice.
"Just English with Ms Elliot" you pointed down the hall to a specific classroom.
Freddy grew a smile on his face, "good luck I heard she's giving out killer essays," he spoke shifting weight off of his crutch mentally kicking himself with how awkward and boring that sounded.
You rolled your eyes though you weren't bad at English or essays. You just hated writing them "thanks for the heads up I guess, but I'll be fine" you reached in your back pocket showing them a Hershey's chocolate while smirking.
Billy chuckled at that, he probably would have just skipped class.
Freddy huffed out a small laugh "candy? Wow almost like your own personal superhero" Freddy spoke with slight enthusiasm and slight sarcasm completely ignoring the glare Billy sent his way.
You furrowed your eyebrow but didn't say anything due to the rising tension in the air. Freddy said something again bringing your attention back "I for one know a guy who can do things cooler than that"
Billy glared intensified you didn't think that it could, "well I for one know that we should get going" billy intersected bitterness in his tone.
He grabbed Freddy's shoulder leading him away not before looking at you at speaking "Bye y/n".
Freddy looked at him then turned his head to you in defeat his curls bounce as he hobbled away he waved his hand in a quick motion before turning his attention back to billy.
You see them start to talk but more like whisper argue since they were walking away. You couldn't hear due to the other students in the halls as they made their way to class.
You stood there briefly in confusion on what that was about but shrugged your shoulders deciding that it was best to let it go, while placing your chocolate bar back in your pocket.
The loud school bell rang indicating the warning bell before you were tardy, you made your way to class.
After sitting down and getting your notebook out, you listen as the teacher goes on and on about different prompts your essay can be about.
You started to daydream blocking about what was happening around you.
What peaked your interest was that the topic was superhero based, of course it was. You watched as your peers began to work diligently and you turned around to gaze at the empty paper in front of you.
You lightly tapped the desk with your mechanical pencil ranking your brain for ideas but you had none.
Not unless you write about the new superhero in town as much as you didn't want to, other people are probably doing that you second guessed.
But it couldn't hurt right..? as you began writing down details and your favorite things about the red cyclone-billy-the man in red, you smiled at your work.
Since Ms Elliot wanted it to look decent and a little accurate to an essay format but she allowed all of you to draw small things on the side, at the bottom or on the back.
You sketched the hero several times, even small things like the bright yellow lighting bolt emblem on his chest, his white cape, his good belt or his bulging muscles against his skin tight red suit.
You wrote down everything you knew and everything you wanted to know. This guy was full of mysteries and god-like powers yet he still can't fly at least that's what you heard him admit not even two days ago.
You smiled upon rereading what you put and fixing some spelling mistakes and capitalization.
You didn't realize that time went by fast as the bell rang to transition to your next class. You turned in your work. Proud that you filled the page up as you walked to your next class.
You didn't even touch your chocolate bar that was snug in your jacket pocket. You made a mental note to do so later.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐇 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 lunch period has begun. You gathered your things and headed to the cafeteria.
You furrowed your eyebrows at the lack of noise and students at the empty tables as you neared the cafeteria. What the hell is going on? Please don't say it's a school shooter.
Speeding up your pace as you walked into the cafeteria you spotted all the students crowded around one table forming a circle around what appears to be one person. All of whom wore a frustrated face as they glared.
You started to slow down as you neared the agitated group of people. You began to hear a familiar voice speak out.
"Red Cyclone, hey!—Hey, what's going on? oh, that's crazy! yeah—it's Freddy by the way. yeah, it's crazy! great story." Freddy speaks aloud as if he's on the phone and clearly like he's trying to prove something.
You stood in confusion until it finally clicked what he was trying to do.
You were behind a short boy that allowed you to see the commotion, Freddy was trying to prove he knows the man in red.
A senior girl behind him snickers upon the group of teenagers and snatches his phone from showing his home screen to everyone clearly not on a phone call.
"He's not talking to anyone." The girl snarls as the group of kids laugh and begin to walk away leaving you stunned with anger.
You snatch the phone from her as she rolls her eyes and walks away like the others. "I was! I was! We're friends. I know him, I do!" Freddy tried to back himself up as the crowd of teens left.
Two boys remained as they laughed sarcastically before they dropped their smiles and sent death glares to Freddy. "Shit"
"This isn't fair, you don't have to be angry over something as small as this!" you spoke fist clenched with anger you hated bullies.
Both of the boys perk up at your statement acknowledging your presence. The one to speak first was the brunette one as a fake flirtatious smile springs upon his face "Hey bitch you came for a show?"
He said in a cold voice but failed nonetheless as a shiver ran up your spine in anger.
"Not interested" you let your disgust show on your face, his smile dropped off his face after hearing that as reached to grab Freddy you tried to block him but the other brother came behind you and grabbed you from behind.
You stumbled to the ground due to his hard pull, you got up immediately and went after the two but a crowd began to form as they carried Freddy around by his underwear.
That had to be uncomfortable and embarrassing, god you hated bullies. You pushed and shoved at the bystanders trying to make your way to the three but you kept getting pushed backwards.
Freddy you poor baby you don't deserve any of this. Where the fuck are the teachers? That thought alone made anger inside you burn, how could they possibly allow something like this to happen?
Still shoving through students as some began to record and others laughed it was all too much.
You were starting to grow uncontrollably angry that bubbly feeling in your veins once more．
What the fuck ever happened to no bullying?... Wait why was Freddy by himself if he left with billy?
And the question that shook the the rest of your thoughts 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐲 𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝.
