"Condition Terminal"
________________________

Casey was keeping as much pressure as she could on Lydia's side wound as it were, with both of her hands as on the other side, Beatrice was taking on as much of Lydia's pain as she could.

"Be careful, Beat. I have watched far too many werewolves, nearly die, or actually die from taking pain away."

Luckily Beatrice was an excellent lip-reader and Casey, she now had her hands, far too busy to sign at the moment.

Scott, Stiles and Theo had swiftly come racing into the Sheriff's station and Casey's hands were slick and red, wet with blood as Theo joined them in the room and he was quick to use his belt as a tourniquet, which, had been probably a key to saving Lydia.

Casey looked at Beatrice, who was letting go of Lydia's hands and now while her eyes flickered icy blue, they flickered only dimly and Beatrice was shaking her head and the glow of her eyes was gone, just nearly as fast as it had begun to appear.

Brett helped Beatrice quickly up and onto her feet again, and right now she was still only partially able to move at all. Casey was looking at her hands as they were barely shaking, completely covered in blood and she was shaking her head.

"Where-where did she go?" Beatrice asked and Casey was now shaking her head at the words.

"I'll go. Brett, get her the hell out of here. Take her back to the loft." Casey ordered and Brett was nodding, as the two of them limped out of the station.

Casey pulled out a gun in one hand and a knife in the other and now, she was the one, leading their little group into the basement. Casey's eyes were carefully scanning the area and Scott had his eyes glowing.

"Can you smell any blood anywhere?" Stilinski asked and Casey's eyes were narrowed and then now, she was shaking her head.

"He doesn't need to smell it." Casey pointed at the floor, where there was droplets of blood that was mixed with mercury. Casey ran for it and she was skidding to a sudden stop, at the sight of Malia standing over Tracy's dead body.

"It wasn't me." Malia promised at once and Casey was nodding quickly at the words.

"What in the hell, happened to her?" Stilinski asked as quickly, Casey was putting away her weapons, as she joined Deaton and Scott, in crouching on the floor next to the body.

"There were these people... They had masks. Um, there... There were, Three of them. I think, think that there were three of them." Malia was stammering over her words.

"What... What the hell are you talking about?" Stiles asked and Casey looked at Dr. Deaton, who nodded as the two of them were now thinking, the very same thing.

"They were strong, Stiles. And they had a weapon. Stiles, I swear that I didn't do this!" Malia pleaded with him to believe her.

"Okay." Stiles replied swiftly to Malia in order to placate her briefly for the moment, and, Casey was shaking her head.

"She's not changing back. We're going to need to get her out of here and fast." Deaton explained.

"What, hey... Absolutely, not! This is a crime scene. We have to call the coroner." Casey shook her head at the Sheriff's words.

"I think the coroner might be very confused, by the sight, of this girl's severed reptilian tail." Deaton explained patiently.

"Not to mention, the claws that produce a paralyzing toxin and the fangs that look utterly, terrifying, to anybody who doesn't know, about the other creatures of the night that you do, Sheriff." Casey pointed out and a severe glare was on Sheriff Stilinski's face, but Casey had no problem rather easily countering it. "Dr. Deaton and I have dealt with things like this before."

"I don't care!" Sheriff Stilinski shouted at them and Casey flinched briefly at the tone.

"You should. Unless you are going to be prepared enough to be able to hold a press conference to announce the presence of the supernatural creatures in Beacon Hills." Deaton countered and then at the words, Casey found herself almost now subconsciously, holding the triskele amulet around her neck in one of her hands. "Which would put almost all of Casey's family at risk."

"I thought that Casey didn't actually have any family left in the world." Casey flinched noticeably, at the sharp tone.

"I meant the Hales. Her daughter Talia Hale Junior, Derek, Tye, who is working his hardest to avoid the exposure. Beatrice, who was willing to die upstairs to protect you. Casey considers them her family, far more than most of her biological relative family." Deaton's tone was cold as he defended Casey, whose eyes shone in pain.

"Dad, he's right." Stiles said.

"Maybe back at the clinic we can figure out how to change her back, then call the coroner?" Scott suggested.

"There is a line... There is a line that we have to draw." Stilinski said and Casey was shaking her head.

"I'm not letting the entire pack and what remains of the Hale Family, be exposed because you and your pride as Sheriff, couldn't take another wound. I will take the body by force, if I have to. If you expose the supernatural world, then everything will fall apart." Casey threatened as Sheriff Stilinski looked at her.

"If you take that body from this station, then-then, you can turn in your badge and gun. Right, right now." Sheriff Stilinski snapped and Casey looked at him, before she stood up and she pulled off her badge as she gave them to him.

"Good luck, Stilinski." Casey's eyes were cold as ice as she looked down at Scott and Deaton. "Let's go." She said and they helped her pick up the body and they were taking her out of the Sheriff's station, wrapped up in Casey's jacket and Deaton's as well.

||Hale Loft||

Casey walked into the loft and she found that Beatrice was shuddering on the couch, as she held a bucket in her hands and Brett was sitting on the couch next to her. "Where-Where is your gun and badge?" Beatrice asked weakly, before she had her head in the bucket and she retched.

"I left them at the station. Stilinski, he told me that I had a choice. I could take the body and leave the badge and gun... Or I could keep the badge and gun, but risk exposing you and everyone else in the supernatural world." Casey explained and then swiftly, she was crouching down next to Beatrice. "If there is something else going on, Beat, you have to tell me now." She said and Beatrice winced.

The bucket was filling up with whatever had come up, as Beatrice's mouth was coated in black blood and Casey's eyes widened. "Show me." She said and Beatrice winced, as she gave the bucket to Brett and she pulled up her hoodie and her shirt.

Casey's eyes widened to the size of a pair of small moons at the moment as it was, when she saw that the wounds from the talons, they still hadn't healed.

From the attacks, that was now... just quite a few days before. "That isn't... It should have healed days ago." Casey said as Beatrice looked at her, before she nodded. "Why the hell, didn't you tell me?" Casey asked.

"Didn't want to worry you. You already have enough to worry about with the extra two heartbeats that are currently growing in your stomach, at the moment." Casey's eyes widened at the words.

"There's two?" Casey asked and Beatrice, she nodded a little. "You could've told me." Casey pointed out and Beatrice scoffed.

"No." Beatrice muttered and in her pocket, Casey's phone beeped. "That's Derek." Beatrice said as Casey looked at her. "I memorized your ringtones, since I was bored." She muttered.

"You're weird." Casey admitted and she grabbed her phone quickly and swiftly, she went into the other room to check her phone.
