Y/N POV:
I was currently sitting down in Mason's trailer biting my nails and tapping my foot repeatedly on the floor as he was out with the rest of the cast rehearsing the lines for the upcoming scene.
Mason had a kissing scene with one of his cast mates lydia. I had already known Lydia because he had introduced me to her in the past. She was very pretty and kind, but I never really liked her because I was jealous. She was one of the prettiest girls Mason had introduced me to. She had long blonde hair with nice blue eyes, she had a very nice hourglass figure and if it honestly had come down to it mason would probably choose her over me.
While I was deep in my thoughts, thinking about all the possible scenarios that could happen between them, I didn't notice Mason had opened the door and walked in. I looked up at him to see him smiling and walking towards me to give me a hug, but I didn't smile back or even open my arms for the hug. He sat down right beside me and wrapped his arm around me
M: y/n, what's wrong
y/n: im fine.
M: y/n, i know you and i know you're not okay.
y/n: mason im fine okay.
M: Is it because of the kiss? I already told you it's not going to mean anything to me
y/n: yeah, okay sure
M: y/n i swear. I don't like lydia like that
I shrugged his hand off of my shoulder and stood up to go to the other side of the trailer and sit down. I tried to avoid eye contact with mason as i pulled my phone out of my back pocket, unlocked it and opened it up to tiktok
I heard footsteps so I pulled my phone down from my face to see Mason walking towards me to sit down on my left side. I rolled my eyes and pulled my phone back up to my face to watch the tiktok. I then felt one of masons ' arms wrap around my wrist and with his other hand take my phone.
y/n: Mason give it back
M: no.
I got up from the couch and started to walk out as i felt masons hand snake around my waist and pull me back down onto the couch.
Y/n: Mase let me go
M: No. Im not letting you leave this place mad for something that you don't have to worry about
I let out a big sigh and slumped myself back on the couch. Avoiding eye contact with mason as best as I can. I then felt his index finger on the right side of my jaw as he turned it so I was now fully facing him.
M: see y/n, nothing to worry about
As he said that he leaned in and planted a soft kiss on my lips But i didn't kiss him back. I didn't want to live with the fact of knowing in thirty minutes from now another girl would be kissing him instead of me.
Mason pulled back from my face and looked me in the eye with a bit of sadness, I knew he could tell how this scene was really impacting me.
M: y/n, please kiss me back.
y/n: no.
I turn my head back the way it was before and stare blankly at the wall with thoughts racing through my head of what would happen after the scene. If everything would change
M:y/n. I don't like Lydia, okay. I barely even think of her as a close friend
y/n:okay.
M: y/n. Please don't do this.
y/n: mase i'm not doing anything okay.
M: Why does it bother you so much?
y/n: because. Because she's just so much prettier than me. She is literally some perfect barbie and I'm just..me.
I heard Mason sigh and felt his hands wrap around me. I loved feeling his presence once again.
M: Well, good for you because I hate barbies.
I let out a little chuckle as I started to snuggle back to mason. That's when I noticed the door to the trailer had started to open. I saw Lydia start to walk in the trailer and lean on the door. She looked over at me and mason with a huge smile on her face
L: uhm mase, i'm sorry to bother you guys but it's time
Mason then turned his face over to look at me. When we made eye contact he looked at me with a look of sorry in his eyes. I knew he really felt bad for me and didn't want to do this, but it was a part of his script.
He then turned his head back at lydia and stood up
M: Uhm okay yeah lets go i guess.
I then saw Lydia look over in my direction and a smile started to grow on her face. She was honestly a really sweet person but I didn't want to accept that for myself.
L: Hey y/n! It's really nice to see you today, I literally haven't seen you in forever. Your outfit literally looks amazing today!
Y/n: Can you like fuck off?
M: Y/n.
I looked at Mason, then looked back over at Lydia and rolled my eyes. I didn't care if she complimented me or how sweet she was. In less than 10 minutes from now she was about to basically make out with mason, and she definitely didn't look upset about it
M: hey lydia i'll be out there soon let me just talk to y/n really quick
L: Okay see you soon.
Lydia then walked out of the trailer and closed the door gently behind her. I turned my face to my left to now face mason.
M: What was that
Y/n: I wonder.
I got up in front of the couch and headed towards the door to open it. I then walked out and towards where they would be filming the scene. On my way there I saw some of the cast members and smiled while walking by them.
I got to the place where they would be filming and sat down in the chair they had told me to. I then pulled my phone out of my pocket and unlocked it while waiting for Mason and Lydia to come and start the scene. I opened up snapchat and started snapping people back for a few minutes until I saw mason walk onto the set.
I put my phone down and looked up to see Mason looking back at me, he gave me a small smile and I just stared back at him. I felt like vomiting just thinking about the scene. Mason lost his smile and looked back at me with a small frown.
I then saw out of the corner of my eye Lydia walking in with a huge smile. I fully focused my attention on her and rolled my eyes looking between her and mason and glaring. As I was looking between the two of them I saw Lydia get into her position and Mason get into his. Then the director yelled action.
L: Connor, I don't understand why you do this to me?!?!
M: I-, I don't know okay
L: YOU DON'T KNOW?!? TELL ME JUST TELL ME WHY CONNOR.
M: BECAUSE I LOVE YOU BRIELLE, I LOVE YOU
L: You do?
M: Yes, I do.
Lydia then started walking towards Mason with tears running down her eyes and their lips connected. It was a long passionate kiss that they had shared. I felt sick to my stomach. I knew it was just acting but he said he loved her, and now is making out with her. I felt a warm tear run down my face and I quickly wiped it off.
After about 20 seconds they had pulled apart and looked into eachothers eyes. Then the director finally yelled cut. Mason quickly stopped looking at her and immediately turned to me. I just looked at him blankly, with another tear running down my face
I got up and ran to the trailer as fast as i could without looking back at mason once. I got to the trailer and harshly slammed the door behind me running over to the couch and burying my face inside of a pillow.
The room was filled with sobs so loud that I didn't hear the door open. All I felt was a hand touch my back and I flinched. I brought my tear filled face up to see it was a mason. He looked really upset with himself
Y/n: Go away.
M: y/n please let me talk to you love
Y/n: what
M: y/n im so sorry ok i promise i hated every single second of it, if you want me o i will never talk to lydia again or even look at her. Please just dont be mad and believe i didn't want to do it.
Y/n: I'm not mad mase. I'm just really hurt. I know you were just acting but it just looked so real.
M: It wasn't love, I promise.
Y/n: okay babe. Now come here and I want cuddles.
M:okay.
He sat down on the couch with me and cuddled me i felt so happy once against o know that it was finally over and it wasn't going to ever happen again
M: You want kisses?
Y/n: No. Not for a whole week. I want to make sure they are fully lydia free.
He let out a small chuckle and tightened his grip on me
M: okay love, if you say so.
I closed my eyes to hear Mason's heartbeat, and slowly drifted to sleep.
