Kaila's POV
I woke up with a huge headache, I checked the time and it was only 3am. Fuck. I thought I had slept longer, I tried falling back asleep but I couldn't then I got an idea. If Gavi can cheat I deserve to make him jealous, no I'm not going to cheat on him.
I got up quickly re did my makeup grabbed my bag and walked out. I wasn't sure where to go exactly but I'd follow the crowd. I saw a group of people around my age walking towards a club so I decided to follow them.
We got to a club, way bigger than the one where we were. I immediately asked for a drink, I needed the courage. I then started to dance, after a few minutes of dancing alone a good looking dude approached me. Little did I know this good looking dude is a friend of mine.
-João! I saw cheerfully
-"Hey Kaila, what are you doing here?"
-I'm partying.
-"I can tell, where's your boyfriend?" He asks me
-What boyfriend?
-"Gavi."
-Oh him...
-"What happened?" He asks me looking concerned
I tell him the whole story and João just listens. His eyes seem to grow wider every word I take. When I finished explaining to him my situation I told him my plan.
-"You're crazy right? I can't pretend to flirt with you. Gavi would kill me!" João says
-Ugh, no he wouldn't, he cheated on me.
-"I'm sure there's an explanation"
-I don't think so, I saw what I saw.
-"Fine, but if I do this what do I get?"
-You get set up. I have a friend who I think you'll really like.
-"But I like you."
He's drunk.
-Come on, let's do this, I'm sure there's paparazzi somewhere, let's look real.
-"Alright baby girlllll."
I just laugh pretending he said something funny, which in fact he did. Calling me baby girl wasn't the ideal thing but it's whatever.
I don't like this, it feels like cheating even though it's not. I don't understand why Pablo would do this to me. In front of all those people.
Apparently my thoughts took over and I was staring I didn't realize until João shook me out of my thoughts.
-"I know I'm hot but you don't need to stare."
-I'm sorry I was just thinking.
-"It's okay, let's dance maybe someone will recognize us and take a picture."
-Okay let's go.
We headed to the dance floor and began dancing as the song progressed we got closer and closer until our faces were inches apart

After I hear the sound I wink at João indicating that our work is done. We keep dancing, but now keeping more of a distance between us. Before I knew it, the time on my phone read 6am
-"Holy shit! I have practice in 30 minutes." João said frantically
-Gosh I think we really lost track of time, come on let's go.
We head of of the club, im helping João because he can barely walk

After a while he finally regains his composure and he walks without my assistance. When we reach the hotel, coincidentally we're staying in the same one, just different floors. I thank him and say my goodbyes.
-Bye João! Thank you so much for helping me. You're such a great person. I say hugging him
-"Bye Kaila, I hope I see you soon, come to one of my games?"
-You bet. See ya!
-"Bye!"
I walk into the elevator which takes me to my floor, im not a bit tired. I feel great, except for the fact that Gavi cheated on me.

Oh my gosh. I was in big trouble.
When I walked into my room waiting for me was my dad, Pablo, Pedri, Ferran, and Ansu.
They all had serious looks on their faces, except Gavi he looked worried. When he saw me his face lit up.
-"Quieres explicar donde estabas?!"
(Do you want to explain where you were?!) My dad says angrily
-Yo estaba en una fiesta con tus jugadores!
(I was at a party with your players)
-"Esa parte ya lo se, pero porque te desaparesiste?! Ya son las 6 de la mañana."
(I know that part, but what I don't know is where you went. Why did you disappear?! It's 6 in the morning.) He was so mad
-No se talvez porque no me sentia bien! Yo regrese aqui pero no me podia dormir, asi que me fui!
(I don't know maybe I didn't feel well! I came back here but I couldn't fall asleep so I left!)
-"Donde?!"

Gavi looked scared, I guess he had never seen me and my dad this mad before. But he looked like he wanted to say something so he interrupted my dad.
-"Kaila! Estaba tan preocupada."
(Kaila! I was so worried about you) Gavi tells me
-Siiii ya te creo.
(Yeahhh I believe you.) I saw rolling my eyes
-"De que estas hablando?"
(What are you talking about?)
-While I was waiting for you, you decided to go play kissy face with some bitch! I can't believe you.
-"Wait, how? I promise I wouldn't cheat on you."
-Yeah well you can't make up what I saw.
-"Kaila I promise it's not like that."
My dad now turned to face Gavi, he looked so mad.
-"What do you mean it's not like that! Did you cheat in my daughter?!"
-"M-m-Mateo I can explain. It's not what it seems."
-I cannot believe you! You keep lying. I saw almost screaming
Just then Gavi received a notification. When he looked at it his face fell. Just then I knew exactly what he saw. But it's not like he didn't just go cheat on me.

-I can't look at you anymore, I'm leaving. Dad I'll text you. I need some time alone. I say leaving the room.
Before I leave I read all the facial expressions on everyone in the room. Pedri: shocked. Ansu: confused. Ferran: flabbergasted. Gavi: hurt. My dad: angry looking like he was abt to kill somebody.
I immediately grab my phone to call João. He's the only person who can help me right now.
*phone call*
Hello?
Hi, are you at practice??
No I told the coach I didn't feel well
Can I come over
Yes, is everything okay
No I'll tell you everything
Okay I'm on the 2nd floor room 74

I quickly head to João's room and knock. He opens the door before I can knock a second time.
-"Come in."
-Hey thanks for letting me be here.
-"Of course, anytime."
-Sooo um everything kind of blew up in my face. I said trying my best to hold in my tears.
-"What happened?"
-I-I got to my room and they were all waiting for me, my dad got mad and Gavi was worried. I told him that it was his fault for cheating on me and he said he could explain but I didn't listen then my dad got mad at him. I couldn't handle it anymore so I just left them. But not before Gavi saw the post of us I guess, he looked so sad I've never seen him that way before. I say before bursting into tears.
João just looks at me understandably and pulls me into a hug, I guess I didn't realize how tired I was because that's how I fell asleep.
*meanwhile*
João makes a phone call.

When I woke up I heard voices. I was in a bed not my bed I was in a different hotel room. Before getting up I recollected my thoughts. The club, going back, the other club, joao, going back, my dad, gavi, cheating, coming to João's room, falling asleep.
I got up, I had a headache. I made my way to the living room or whatever and I saw João and someone familiar sitting.
Jude Bellingham I thought smiling
-"Good morning sunshine!" Jude says in his accent that I love
-Good morning, your accent gets me every time. I say laughing
-"Morning, are you feeling better?" João asks concerned
-Yes I'm feeling fine, so did you guys just skip practice?
-"Just for you"
-Awwww y'all are so sweet, so I'm guessing you told Jude?
-"Yeah, he told me. Listen I'm so sorry Kaila, you can do better."
-Thanks. I have to face him sooner or later though. I guess I'll talk to him before his next game. I wouldn't want him to go in with a heavy heart, he looked hurt I don't know why. He's the one who cheated not me.
-"If you need anything just tell us." João said
-Yeah of course, now let's do something I'm bored.
We decided to play FIFA and eat ice cream. I love these guys I wish they lived closer so we could hang out all the time.
I decided to post something on instagram. I posted a selfie of Jude, João, and I. I captioned it "The people who care❤️🩹" I tagged them and got off my phone.
Then I remembered to text my dad

The rest of the day was just our trio chilling and having so much fun. But it got late and I was still wearing that red dress, we agreed to call it a night and we all left. Of course not before giving each other hugs!
When I got to my room, which thankfully was empty I went straight to the shower. After I was done I changed into shorts and a long tee. I put on my socks and crocs and headed to bed.

I was still mad and heartbroken but I wanted to hear his side of the story obviously. I just didn't know if right now was the time. I decided to just go. Since it was 7:30 I had 30 minutes with nothing to do.
I just went on tiktok as always. I saw some tea page like trying to explain the situation and it was just annoying, some people were calling me the cheater! This is outrageous, I decided to go on snap, I did my streaks and texted my 2 best friends.
If I forgot to mention it I have 2 besties back in the U.S I miss them so much, I wish I could visit them, I still text and FaceTime them everyday. I decided to tell them my drama.

It's such a relief that my friends are always there for me. I miss them too much, I need them to come here.
I checked the time and it was 8:01. Wow time went by so fast, I grabbed a hoddie, put my hot pink crocs back on. The ones Gavi stole one of the first days he met me, it's sad thinking about what this has come to. I walked out the door and headed to the meeting spot.
Walking there my mind was all over the place I was holding back tears, my emotions were scrambling. Did Pablo actually cheat on me was I overreacting? Did I do too much?
I was walking slowly as if that would prevent me from seeing him. When I finally got there it took a lot of courage to open the door to go outside.

I opened the door and I saw a familiar figure leaning against the back of the hotels brick wall. There stood Pablo, wearing a sweatpants and a hoddie. By his face I could tell he was hurt. Why though, isn't he the one who cheated?
What if he was going to break up with me.
When I walked out Gavi looked at me but immediately looked back down to the floor avoiding my gaze.
-Hey Pablo, I'm here. I say giving him a little wave
-"Hey um- I thought you wouldn't come."
-Why wouldn't I? Im surprised you even asked me to meet you.
-"Because- nevermind."
-So what did you want to say to me?
-"Im sorry."
-So you did cheat?
-"No! No not at all please let me explain."
-Go ahead, I would looove to hear your side of the story. I say sarcastically
-"Kaila please listen to me. I should be the one mad at you! You left and went to hangout with your 'friend' you know that dance looked nothing friendly."
-What are you saying? You fucking left me! And you went to kiss some girl.
-"I didn't kiss her! She pushed herself onto me! I looked for you after and I couldn't find you, where were you flirting with João fucking Felix."
-Oh no, I came back to my room but I couldn't fall asleep so what I went there and saw him. He is my friend, he actually cared for me. He let me stay in his room and he even called another good friend to cheer me up! They both fucking skipped their practice to help me, and where were you? Idk probably fucking some girl.
-"I-I'm sorry I didn't realize you knew, I was going to tell you what happened but I guess you saw and the post got to you before I did."
-Yeah and you didn't do anything, nothing happened between me and João.
-"Look I said I'm sorry, I hope you know nothing happened between me and that girl, she's just some fan who forced herself onto me." He says lowering his voice
-I-I want to believe you... I say my voice cracking
-"I can't lose you, not over some stupid misunderstanding."
-I can't lose you either. Im so sorry I should've listened to you. I say staring to cry
He pulls me into a hug.
Right there and then I knew that I have all that I need, everything I will ever want.
I promised myself I wouldn't let this happen between us again.
