Kinn's P.O.V:
I was in my room working on my laptop when someone knocked on the door.
"Hey" Vegas said as soon as he poked his head from behind the door.
"What?" I asked without looking up from my laptop.
"I told you to make sure that our clothes aren't mixed where the hell is my new shirt?" He asked.
"I have no idea go ask Kim" I said.
"He said to go ask you" Vegas said.
"Have you asked Tankul?" I asked.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" He asked.
I looked up and shrugged.
"Wait...Was it a black silk button up?" I asked.
"Yes" He said.
"Tankul got it...He already sewed a tree on the back of it and tree leaves on the sleeves" I said.
Vegas stayed silent for what felt like a minute.
"TANKUL" Vegas yelled.
Then left the room slamming the door shut behind him.
I rolled my eyes and continued working again.
There was another knock on the door then Kim walked in.
"Come on dad is already waiting in the car downstairs" He said.
I frowned in confusion.
"Why? Where are we going?" I asked.
Kim facepalmed.
"No wonder you're still wearing your pyjamas...We're going to the sermon" He said.
I nodded and stood up.
He left the room and I went to dress up hurriedly.
We arrived at the temple for the sermon.
After sometime we were done with our prayer and stood so we stood up to leave.
"I'm going to work do you want to go somewhere else? Or are you coming home?" My father asked.
We all shook our heads.
"Fine then I'll see you later" Our father said.
Then he got in the car and drove away.
"Later" Vegas said.
"Call me when you need help" Kim said.
Then he and Vegas left.
Those traitors...
"Let's go have fun little brother" Tankul said excitedly as he clung to my shoulder.
"Alright then first of all...Where exactly is that fun?" I asked.
"I found a fortune teller his shop is around here come on it's going to be fun" Tankul said.
Then grabbed my hand and dragged me behind him.
"Tankul I still have to go to work you know there's a..." I started.
"Oh come on don't be so boring papa can take care of it just fine" He insisted.
Then he started walking again.
Fine let's get this over with so we can just go back home.
We arrived at the place and sat down on the floor in front of the man.
"What do you want to know?" He asked.
"How much does that bullshit reading cost for one person?" I asked.
Tankul nudged my side causing my to wince.
"It's five hundred baht per person" The man said.
I took out my wallet to pay.
"I'd like to know about my future...What do you think will..." Tankul started.
"You're always at home the worse that can happen to you is you slipping on a soap in a bathtub" I said.
Tankul smacked my mouth before turning to the man again.
Vegas's shirt looked hideous after the grande remodeling Tankul did on it so I could tell why Vegas was so angry.
The man took Tankul's hand.
"Your future is a safe one...Although you'll have a great one if you choose to follow your dream" The man said.
"See? That's why he's a total fraud...He already stated the obvious I'm not paying..." I started.
"Do you want me to read your future then young man?" The man asked.
"No no...I'm not done yet I'm curious about my love life...Will I have a stable relationship soon?" Tankul asked excitedly.
I rolled my eyes and facepalmed.
"Your love life will have a rough start but it'll be a happy one" The man said.
Tankul nodded and turned to me.
"See? He said that I'll have a happy love life" Tankul said.
"Yeah yeah I heard" I said.
"What's that person's name? Is it a man or a woman? What do they look like? How are we going to meet?" Tankul asked.
The man gave Tankul some sticks and told him to pick one.
"Throw it in the fire" He said.
Tankul threw the stick in the fire and the flames started going wild.
I coughed as I waved the heavy smoke with my hand.
"Damn...If your love life is that smoky I'll fucking kill you" I said between coughs.
"Oh shut up already" Tankul said.
The man looked at the fire.
"I see a man...He's a young one" The man said.
"What does he do for work? Is he handsome? What's his name?" Tankul asked.
"I've told you everything I've seen" The man said.
Then he turned to me.
"Do you want to try young man?" He asked me.
I opened my mouth to say no but Tankul nodded.
"Yes yes...I'm curious about him too go ahead and read him" Tankul said.
Then he turned to me and put a hand on my shoulder.
"If you do it I'll consider it a good enough birthday present" Tankul said.
Tankul usually asks for odd random presents on his birthday so...
"Ok" I said then gave the man my hand.
This is an easy way out after all who am I to say no?
"Hmmm...Your love life will be a happy one...If you manage to find the right person that is...I see happiness in your future" The man said.
"Yeah yeah right whatever" I said.
"Throw a stick in the fire young man" He said.
I took a stick and threw it in the fire then started coughing again when the flames grew stronger.
But the fire was stronger then when Tankul tried and the smoke was thicker.
I closed my eyes and waved my hand wildly in an attempt to dismiss the smoke as I continued coughing hard.
"Tankul...Seriously...I love you but if we don't get out of here I'll kill you before your next birthday" I said.
"Oh come on it's almost over" Tankul whined.
"The person waiting for you will be your downfall if you're not careful...He's a man and he's close to you but not close enough...If you're not careful with him he'll hurt you and he'll hurt you bad...Not just you but your family as well" The man said.
"Huh?" Tankul asked.
I frowned in confusion at what he just said.
"Who is it?" Tankul asked me.
"I don't know" I said.
"Do you want to know anything else? Maybe how you'll die?" The man asked.
"No thanks I prefer to keep it a surprise" I said.
Then stood up and pulled my older ding dong of a brother to his feet.
"Oh come on I'm still curious I have a lot of questions" Tankul said.
"And I'm late for my meeting at work so we have to go" I said.
"You're no fun" Tankul said.
I ignored him and called the driver.
"Let's just go back for a few more minutes ok?" Tankul asked.
"Yeah and minutes turn to hours...Not a chance" I said.
He smacked my shoulder.
The driver arrived so I walked over to the car.
Tankul was still sulking but followed me to the car anyway.
I kept thinking about what the fortune teller said throughout the entire ride.
Someone close to me but not close enough? Could it be a colleague from work? Or maybe my friends?
No he said not close enough so it can't be one of my friends we were together since we were babies.
What the fuck? It's all bullshit I shouldn't be overthinking.
The car stopped in front of the house and Tankul got off then I went to the company.
I had an afternoon meeting with my father and the company shareholders.
The car parked in front of the company and I got off.
"Come back in five hours not a single minute late do you understand?" I asked.
The driver nodded and drove away.
I walked into the company.
My secretary walked over to me immediately.
"Do you have a list of the meetings for today?" I asked her.
She nodded.
"You don't have much to do today mr Anakin but you have to be present for the fundraising tonight...It'll be presented on TV" She said.
I nodded.
"Get that scheduled then...Which TV station was it again?" I asked.
"MiTV" She said.
"Alright then tell my father that I got it covered" I said.
She nodded.
"There's something else I wanted to ask about" She said.
I nodded asking her to keep going.
"I was hoping to have a maternity leave since I'm already two months pregnant" She said.
I sighed heavily and nodded.
"You can stop by the main office to discuss it after the current meeting is over and congratulations in advance" I said.
She smiled.
"Thank you mr Anakin" She said.
I walked into the meeting room and took my seat.
After a while the meeting was over.
"I'm going to the TV station now dad" I said.
"Tell me if you have trouble with securing the deal" He said.
I stood up to leave.
"Yeah I almost forgot my secretary is going to be on a maternity vacation soon so I asked her to come talk to you about it" I said.
"Alright" He said.
I went to the TV station after that.
The car parked in front of the TV station after a while and I got off and walked into the building.
There was a commotion though.
"What do you mean fired? DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY CUPS OF COFFEE I HAD TO BREW FOR YOU YOU STUCK UP SON OF A BITCH?" A loud voice yelled angrily.
I frowned in confusion and made way through to see better.
"I don't have time for this I have to go on air soon...Security take him out already" A man in a suit said.
The guy who was standing in the middle of the commotion beat the security guards out cold and grabbed the TV presenter's collar.
"You're going on air huh? Ok...I suppose I should groom you up" The other guy said.
Then gave the TV presenter a headbutt before punching his eye.
The TV presenter groaned in pain and put a hand over his eye.
I took a step back in surprise when the guy who beat the TV presenter up turned to me.
The commotion dispersed so it was just me.
"The fuck are you looking at bastard?" The guy who beat the TV presenter up asked me.
"N...Nothing" I said chuckling awkwardly.
He didn't say anything and walked past me.
