"I think they're gone" Damon said as he closed the door to what seemed to be a small cabin buried deeply within the woods.

"I didn't mean to I swear..!" Kieth said defensively as I starred at my sparring partner whom now had all his fingers caught off from the bite of a mortal child after a sparring match.
"You know..sparring doesn't include biting people" I said with a smile as I mind linked the wolf to get out of here and get his fingers treated.
"But in the battle field, what method you use won't matter" He huffed.
"My uncle said the enemy couldn't careless about the rules.." He said as he kicked one of the wolf's fingers off the floor.
"It's all about surviving" He said as he looked at me with those black innocent eyes contradicting to his statement.
His eyes, doesn't seem to be carrying thay much burden for himself.

"Your uncle told you that?" I asked causing him to nod with a smile.
"My Uncle is super strong, I wanna be like him." He said to which made me chuckle lightly.
He said he got lost after looking for his Uncle in the forest, coincidentally he had met up with my men whom were currently on patrol duty that night.
My guess is that, my men had felt aura but did not know what it was and instinctively saw this creature as a threat. And seeing as we're currently at war I could not blame them.
Instinctively this kid felt threatened and had attacked in defense. But..

As far I as I know, no, there isn't. According the mages, one ingredient hasn't been found yet for it to exist- I replied as I starred at the kid whom is now burying the fingers down a well digged hole.
"You don't need to bury everything that you destroy you know" I said as the kid with it's short legs picked up the fingers one by one.
"When we were in the human realm..I had always attacked things that..people don't approve of. So my uncle said, if I make a mess I need to clean it up" He said as he looked at me almost instantly.

"Of course, but I can't just find him if you don't give me any details" I said as I wiped his hands off the blood that was smeered all over it.

"No..when we arrived here, the alpha captured me and my uncle to serve out..pushmint" He said causing me to raise an eye brow.
"You mean punishment?"
"Yes that...uncle said we won't stay long tho! We'll be set free after five months" He said causing me to hum.
So this kid and his uncle are slaves, or wait no..that's too harsh.

"Hmm, I still can't find your guardian with only that much detail" I said as we walked inside the pack house.
All of the wolves were slowly moving out of the way lightly bearing their necks in submission, but this time not to me..

"Theodore" He said causing me to stop dead at my tracks as stared at him with a slight twitch on my lips.

I couldn't help but laugh like a mad man as we reached the door with Jero waiting outside.
"Take the kid inside and rest, don't let him get out of the pack unless I say so" I said to which Jero had nodded.
"Yes alpha"
"Keith, this is gonna be your room while I try to contact the other packs to look for your uncle" I said sweetly to which made the kid smile.
"Yes sir!"
"Don't call me sir it's too formal" I said causing him to tilt his head in confusion.
"What should I call you then?"
"Call me dad" I said to which caught him off guard.
His expression looks like 'If I don't go along with this he'll kill me so lets endure it for now' to which had made me internally chuckle.

Which means, if he was willing to bring that mortal here. He genuinely cares for him as if he was his own child.
I haven't been this excited since I had my first murder.
"Damon..what are you gonna do now?" I chuckled.
"When I have your precious beta, wrapped around my finger tips?" I laughed just imagining Damon's defeated gaze.

"Still..the back story that the mortal child had said, sounds a whole ton of bullshit" I said to myself while sitting down on my chair.
When Theo was exiled, he had met a woman whom was with a child. Yet she died leaving the kid under his custody.
