A tiny pinknette stood in front of a very colorful door, palms sweaty and vision blurry from the tears that had gather up in her eyes, just one blink was enough for her to start bawling her eyes out,
so she didn't dare to blink, she'd managed to pull the cool act in front of her mother and older sister but now that they weren't near her anymore all the confidence went down the drain, she looked at the end of the hallway in which she was standing at, It's only been 3 minutes since entered the building..
(she tends to count the time when she's too nervous or anxious about something to distract herself)
Maybe it's still not too late to run back to her mother, surely she wouldn't have gotten so far.. right..?
Gosh! why is she thinking like this!?- Her father is such a strong man, while she's over here being a nervous and pathetic loser, he'd be ashamed if he knew how much of a weak crybaby she was! he'd probably be too embarrassed of her..
Maybe she should just-
"why, hello there."
"huh?"
Sayuri blinked her eyes in confusion, looking at the unknown women in front of her, only moments later had she realized that the door she had been standing in front of had been opened, she could see a couple of kids cheerfully talking with each other and giggling happily.
"I assume that you're Sayuri Uchiha..?" said the still unknown lady before her, with a stern look on her face.
"uhm, yes.." mumbled a soft voice, her Heterochromia eyes nervously peering up at the women, her fingers fiddling with each other with a flushed face.
"Are you aware that you're late?"
"Yes.. sorry.."
"get in, don't be late next time."
Sayuri shyly averted her eyes to the ground before mumbling a quick apology,
The women moved out of the way to let her go inside the noisy room filled with children..
Sayuri took a deep breath, her hands clenched on the fabric of her skirt as she awkwardly walked into the classroom as a flushed mess,
Her ears were slowly turned red as she noticed that most had stopped whatever they've been doing to look at the her,

The still unknown lady closed the door before walking inside as well, she clapped her hands to capture the attention of some of the children who were still in their own world paying no heed to them.
"Everyone, Please calm down." She stated, that was enough for all the kids to keep their mouth shut.
"The new student is going to introduce herself." She said nonchalantly while moving aside to reveal a very nervous pinknette who looked like she's about to pass out any moment now,
Sayuri gulped as she felt her heart beat against her chest and it made her stupid mind believe that her ribcage would break if it continued.
She slowly brought her small quivering hand up in a pathetic wave before saying,
"H-hello.. am Sayuri..U-uchiha...!"
"..."
She looked around anxiously at everyone's glance, its as if their expecting her to say something.
"Well.. nice to meet you Sayuri.. I am Suzuki Nakamura, your teacher." The lady, now known as Suzuki cut off the silence with a bored look on her face,
"Now go on, find yourself a seat." Suzuki said, before Sayuri wandered off clueless looking for any empty seat, but couldn't find any as they were either occupied by another kids bag or someone was already sitting in it.
And Sayuri was not confident enough to ask someone to move their bag so she could sit there, hell she wasn't even brave enough to sit next to another kid her age,
So she just decided to sit alone, which was way better than embarrassed herself on the first day.
Classes where relatively easy for Sayuri since her mother had already thought her most of the basic stuff in the past year,
Even while being alone Sayuri had somehow managed to make the best out of it and stay happy,
she happily listened during the history classes and was even able to answer a few questions which seem to impress her history teacher, (she's just really happy that at least some of the teacher like her)
Math was nothing more than a child's play for her, her mother had made her work out a thick algebra book and even if it seem to annoy her to no limit back then, she couldn't help but thank her mother now.
(Other subjects were not even worth talking about. They were so easy for her 🥱)
Sayuri started to love this new experience,
but, none of the kids dared to talk to her, sure, it make her feel kinda hurt but at least everything else was fun.
Sayuri and her art teacher got along really well! And during flower arranging class, the teacher said she did a very good job and gave her a pat in the head while she looked like a walking tomato.. so, with shining eyes she carefully packed the flowers so she could show it to her favorite aunt, Ino! while walking home!
The little girl had managed to gain confidence in herself, seeing that most the teachers liked her and all the subjects seemed very easy! It's ok! lacking a few friend won't hurt that much!
And before she knew it, it was the last class for the day, Sayuri looked at the time table that Mrs. Nakamura gave her.
'P.E'.
So here they were, all following Mrs. Nakamura as she led them to the small ground behind the building.
They were walking through the corridor when Sayuri felt something hit her head, at first she paid no mind to it and kept walking.. but after 3 or 4 times, she turned around to face a boy with a smug smirk on his face,
"Hey there, pretty.. ugly eyes you got there!" He said, making Sayuri frown at the rude comment..
'What's his problem..?'
"You freak! You keep smiling like a dumb idiot even when no one talked to you!!"
"She must be an evil witch!!"
"Yeah!"
Sayuri deadpanned before plain out ignoring them and walked away, leaving the bunch of idiots to blush out of embarrassment which soon turned into anger,
"HEY! WERE TALKING TO YOU, FREAK! DON'T YOU DARE INGNORE US!!"
Suddenly she heard a gasp from behind her,
"That.. symbol!"
"YOU, I KNOW YOU!! YOU'RE FROM THAT CLAN ! MY MOM TOLD ME!!"
Sayuri froze,
'what?'
"YOU'RE FATHER IS THE ONE WHO BETRAYED THE WHOLE VILLAGE ISN'T HE?! WHY DID THEY ALLOW AN ENEMY'S DAUGHTER TO COME HERE-!? MY MOM TOLD ME EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU'RE CLAN! YOU NASTY PEOPLE! GOOD THAT THEY'RE ALL DEAD NOW!"
The girl just stood there with pure confusion..
Clan?
Everyone died?
Betray the village?
Her father?
what?
Sayuri didn't know what this random boy was blabbering about, but he just insulted her father, the man she looks up to..
And that's very rude.
And heavy footsteps where heard before a chubby hand grasped onto Sayuri's small ones, forcing her to turn and face them,
"YOU UGLY FREAK! SAY SOMETHING WILL YOU?!"
Just before fulling turning around Sayuri noticed that the teacher had rounded the corner, so without hesitation she quickly turned around and punched the kid, sending him flying onto the garbage can nearby,

And without turning back she ran, leaving the kid to cry as his sidekicks checked on him while cursing her..
and within minutes she joined the group of kids just as Mrs. Nakamura turned around to count, to check if all of them were there,
And to her surprise, the missing three kids where just around the corner, one holding his cheek while crying in pain and the other two looking terrified while trying to comfort him..
"What happened?"
"WAHHHH! IT'S SAYURI!- SHE HURT ME!! WAHHHHH."
Sayuri sighed, her mother is not gonna be happy about this..-

"Mrs. Uchiha, you're child punched another student and lied about it later when questioned."
OK, now. Sakura was worried about her daughters first day at the kindergarten but she didn't expect this..-
Sakura turned to look at her youngest daughter, face displaying pure confusion and she searched her daughters eye's for an explanation.
Sayuri put on a poker face, carelessly pointing at the boy next to her who was clinging onto his mother while crying,
"He started it." she casually said,

"uhhh-"
"This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, She injured the boy. two of his teeth had fallen off and a bruise had formed on his left cheek."
Sakura didn't know if she should feel proud of her daughter of concerned of the poor boy- but she must have a good reason for doing it.
Sakura let out a small sigh before bending the top half of her body into a bow, pushing her daughters head to do the same.
"I apologize on the behalf of my daughter. I'll talk with her once we get home and I'll make sure this doesn't happen again."

"You broke two of his teeth?!"
"Mhm."
"AHA! serves him right! NOW, that's my daughter!"
Sayuri gave a big grin before going back to eating her strawberry ice cream.
Her eyes sparkled as she told her mother everything that happened today,
"And then he started crying! And i walked away!!"
"Good job!" Sakura praised, before realizing that she's doing the opposite of what she's supposed to do-
Unfortunately, she can't just let Sayuri walk around, punching boy.. as cool as it sounds.. its still something thats wrong.
"Sayuri." Sakura called, her voice laced with seriousness.
"Hm?"
with ice cream smeared on the tip of her nose, Sayuri looked up. Her big duo eyes looking past her thick lashes.
Sakura sighed,
"Stop it, I can't be serious.. when you're looking so cute!!"
"Huh." The little girl blinked in confusion.
"UGHH- SO CUTE!"
"...."
"OK, fine.. I'll stop it."
Sakura kneeled down to match the little girls height,
the sun had already began to set.. casting an yellowish pink hue across the sky.. a few stars twinkling here and there and the moon hiding behind the thick clouds..
"Sayuri.. what happened?"
"Hm?"
"What did he say?"
The little girl averted her eyes to the floor, a pout formed on her lips as her eyebrows furrowed together.
"He called chi-chi a bad guy.." she said, her voice so small afraid of what her mother would say..
She hesitated, before shyly looking at her mother, who looked back at her with a gaze so gentle, and a proud smile on her face.
Sakura gently tucked Sayuri's hair behind her ears, before spftly ruffling her hair.
"What else did he say?"
Sayuri sniffed before wiping her eyes with the long sleeves on her shirt, her other hand clenched onto her skirt..
"That- that Chi-chi betrayed the v-village! A-and we're clan and we're nasty people and everyone died!"
Sakura frowned,
'Some people just don't change.. huh?"
She pulled her daughter into a tight hug before saying,
"My my!~ What a brave girl you are! Sasuke's going to be so proud!" She cooed, pulling her daughter into her arms as she stood up.
Sayuri wrapped her tiny arms around her mother's neck while resting her head onto her chest,
she closed her eyes before muttering a few words which put a smile on her mother's face.
"I love you, mama.."

Somewhere within the forest, a certain hwak flew through the trees, before landing on a man's shoulder.
The man smiled at the envelope on his hand, he thanked the hawk before it flew away.
He opened the envelope and inside were a couple peace of papers that he cherished so much.
He chuckle as he read the letter from his wife tellling him how their youngest punched her classmate to defend him.
Sasuke's heart warmed at the fact that Sayuri still loved him endlessly even though she'd never even seen him before..
His smile growed bigger and bigger as he looked at the paper attached to the main letter,
It was poor dawing of a family, mostly just careless scribbles but it brought so much happiness to him, in that drawing were 3 people standing in front of a house, all holding hands with a big smile drawn on their faces, it was pretty obvious that they are sakura, sarada and sayuri.
But what caught his attention was a dark figure, a little further away from them. The dark figure was standing within a bunch of poorly drawn trees.. it had an arrow pointing at it, saying,
"Chi-chi protec us! Yay! ♡ "
From them on, every time sasuke felt hopeless and lonely, he'd look at the drawing and it'd automatically put a smile on his face,
knowing that there are people who look up to him and love him.
Reminding him that he should keep fighting for them, even if it meant that he wouldn't be there with them.
