Christmas was just around the corner! And things were sO close to being finished.
You just had to go and get one more thing then set it ALL up!
For this last thing you enlisted the help of Jay's BESTO-FRIENDO (lol) Daniel!
You and him were going to go by the jewelry store to pick out a chain to go with Jay's gift.
Too bad you hadn't noticed your boyfriend was coincidentally nearby the jewelry store when you and Daniel walked in.
Back to school.
Last week YIPPEEE!!
The school halls were buzzing with excitement with everyone all chit chatting about Christmas and things they wanted, what they were getting others and their plans.
Of course your friends kept you on a tight leash that week just to make sure you didn't let anything slip.
Imagine you're like a Chihuahua. Always yapping, yet everyone still like- no- loves you!
And Chihuahuas need leashes or else they're gonna get into some shit they clearly can't handle and clearly unable to get out of.
"Jay!" You waved from you spot at the lunch table.
Zach and Mira were busy so they left Daniel in charge of you.
Jay sat across from you and Daniel.
You looked at him confused, he usually sits beside you.
Then proceeded with an uncomfortable silence.
"Um, Jay. Is everything okay?" You asked.
". . ."
"Ya sure? You're being offly quiet."
". . ."
"Okayyyy." You sighed.
You knew the perfect way to lift his spirits. You could tell him!
"Ja-"
Your mouth was quickly covered by Daniel.
You realized what you were fixing to do and mentally facepalmed.
Jay looked at the two of you confusingly. Something wasnt settling right with him and he didn't like it.
He wants sO bad to trust you.
But, how close you are with Daniel these days just didn't feel right.
You noticed how almost. . . upset Jay seemed. And you wanted sO bad to explain. Buuut, you couldn't come up with anything on the spot.
"Um. Im not very hungry. So I'mma head back to class." You quickly gathered your things and walked off, Daniel following.
If anyone could see his eyes they'd probably find he held an almost upset expression.
The last day of school
And you walked out the door with Daniel. Not Jay.
Today you were finishing up some of the last preparations for the surprise.
Christmas was almost here annnd your present was all put together.
Well, for the most part anyways.
You just had to make another run to the jewelry store to pick up the present.
"Finally. Who knew having something custom made like this would take this long?" You sighed as you walked out of the store.
"I know right." Daniel laughed.
"Welp, RIP my savings T-T"
"You know I'm sure he would have been happy with anything you got him."
"I know. But it's still our first Christmas together. And I really really really want it to be special!!" You sighed.
"I understand."
You brought your hands up to your mouth to blow on them. Because your dumbass forgot your damned gloves.
"Cold?"
"Yes."
"Here."
He took off his own gloves and gently slid them on your hands.
"Thanks Dan- Jay?!"
You just so happened to catch sight of blonde and quickly snapped your head over to look at him.
And he was nOt happy.
"Jay. It's not what it looks like!"
Jay stomped over to where you two were and stood in between y'all.
He "glared" at Daniel.
"Jay. Calm down. Its not what it looks like!" You tried to get his attention.
He turned dto you and huffed.
"I know I know. Daniel was helping me with something. And I had forgotten my gloves. He was just giving me his because I was cold."
". . ."
"It's a surprise! I can't tell you! I nearly did thousands of times! That's why I've been avoiding you and hanging out with everyone! I'm sorry. I just didn't want to ruin the surprise."
"I am too." Daniel added.
Jay wrapped his arms around your waist which caught you by a surprise.
"Jay?!"
". . ."
Your face flushed red.
"Jay!"

He just nuzzled his face into your neck.
"Thank you for helping Daniel. I'll give you your gloves back at school."
Daniel opened his mouth to say something but Jay cut him off.
He practically ripped the gloves off your hands and handed them to Daniel.
Jay took off his own gloves and put them on your hands.
"Thanks." You nervously smiled.
He took you hand and began dragging you away.
"Bye Daniel. Thanks." You mouthed to Daniel
He nodded and headed the opposite direction.
"Okay okay. Jay." You stopped him.
He turned back around to look at you.
"Look. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. Come by my place at 7. I'll explain EVERYTHING then. Okay?"
He hesitated but eventually nodded.
(Just an FYI you live alone)
"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow." You smiled and headed towards your house.
'That is the most awkward position I've put myself in since I told everyone about that girl who had that- ah jeez it makes me shiver just thinking about it. Ahhh now not the time for that anyways! I gotta get home and set up the apartment for tomorrow night! I hope he likes it.'
*Ding
"Ah! That's him! Ah shit! I hope everything looks okay."
You ran towards the door and opened it.
'Fuck! I knew I was forgetting smth- I forgot to brush my hair.'
You were going to apologize for your messy appearance but he ruffled your hair-
"Huh?"
". . ."
"Cute?!" You exclaimed, flustered.
He smiled.
You huffed and stood to the side so he could come in.
Surprised was written all over the bottom half of his face.
"Do ya like it? I thought we could eat and then watch a movie-"
You were slightly startled when he suddenly embraced you in a hug.
You laughed and returned the hug.
"Come on, let's go eat!" You lead him over to the table.
He stopped you and looked into the living room.
He pointed to it.
"Oh! I'll show you after we eat!" You smiled mischievously.
He just shrigged it off and followed should into the kitchen.
You fixed him a plate and gave it to him.
"Do you like it?"
He nodded.
You smiled.
"So um, about the whole avoiding thing. I'm really sorry about all that. I wanted to put together something really special for you since it's our first Christmas. So I had a whole thing planned. And I got a lot of help, especially from Daniel since he's your best friend. I wanted to make sure I got what you liked. He told me stuff you liked so I could put it together."
You stood up from your chair and opened one of the cabinets, you pulled out a small box wrapped in red and green wrapping paper with a white bow.
"Here. Merry Christmas!"
He took it and unwrapped it. He opened the box.
You watched intently hoping he'd like it.
You were so surprised by his reaction.
I mean, you can't see his eyes, but you could be sworn if you had he would have had sparkles in them.
It was a silver locket with engravings in it to look similar to the Chrome Hearts he always wears.
"You can open it."
He looked at you almost confused
"It's a locket silly."
He looked back down at the locket and noticed a little indent in the side. He carefully opened it to see two selfies you and take together awhile ago.
"Do you like it?"
He quickly nodded.
He slipped it around his neck.
"It looks great on you!"
". . ."
"Your welcome!" You smiled and hugged him.
". . ."
"For me?"
". . ."
"Christmas? You didn't have to get me anything you know?"
". . ."
"Alright." You laughed. "Now come on, for the second part of the night!"
You grabbed his hand and lead him into the living room.
"We're building a pillow fort!"
". . . ?"
"Youve- you've never built a pillow fort?! Oh we're definitely building one now! Come on! I'll show you what to do!"
He listened to every instruction you gave and followed them.
"See? Isn't it cool?" You looked up to him.
". . ."
"Now what? Now we pop pop corn and watch a movie in the fort! I'll grab the popcorn. Here's my computer, you can pick us out a movie."
You ran into the kitchen and came out a few minutes later with two bags of popcorn.
(I am so sorry if my quality of writing is going down bc I'm really rushed trying to get this done at least before New Year's is over!)
"Got the popcorn! So, what'd ya pick out?"
He showed you the computer.
It was a fucking hallmark movie.

"Oh no! It's fine! We can watch this."
You tried so hard not to look awkward.
Those movies are so cheesy and cringey and well- lovey dovey.
And you and Jay haven't even kissed yet. You just couldn't help but feel like it would be a bit uncomfortable.
Ah well, he wants to watch it, so you're gonna watch it.
You placed the computer down and beckoned for Jay to come in the fort with you.
"Here's your popcorn and here's mine. I'd say we could share a bag, but I'm going to be honest, I don't wanna share." You shrugged.
Jay smiled.
He was so cute when he smiled!
"Ah, so I'll start the movie." You refocused back on the computer.
Honestly, the movie wants half bad. Still kinda cheesy. But it was still pretty good. Better acting then most the ones you and seen in the past.
Annnnd then the kissing scene came on.
Missing scenes always made you uncomfortable when you weren't alone for some reason-

You looked to your side to see Jay staring at you. (Not in a creepy way obviously)
"W-what?"
'Fuck. Did I just stutter?!'
He glanced back at the screen then back at you.
The movie was pretty much over.
"Um. Maybe we can watch another movie?"
You pulled the computer closer to you so you could search.
But, you were stopped.
"Is something wrong?" You asked.
'Is it just me or is it getting really hot? Also, is it just me or is he closer then he was a second ago? Oh wait, that's really close! That's really close! EXTREMELY CLOSE! I CAN FEEL HIS BREATH! BEEP BEEP BEEP EVERYONE TO YOUR STATIONS!! HOLY HELL HIS LIPS ARE ON MINE? THE FUCK DO I DO? Kiss him back dumbass. OH RIGHT, OF COURSE!

He seperated, as if waiting on your response.
"Wow." Was the only thing you managed to speak.
You heard a chuckle and shook your head out of the daze you were in.
Before you could even think, you kissed him again. This one being much longer.
You pulled back.
You just knew your face was redder than a fucking tomato right now.
But you still couldn't help but smile like an idiot.
And it wasn't but a second before you both pulled each other back into another kiss that was becoming really heated.

Anyhoo! Kinda my first time being on an airplane. So pretty nervous.
