Both Veronica's and Johnathan's families were sitting in the living area of her mansion ,
With a concerning expression Veronica's father opened his mouth , " how could you both do that ? ",
" especially you Veronica, I didn't expect this from you ",he added
Veronica kept looking down with shame , Johnathan looked at her softly ,
" I regret every moment of it ", she looked up and replied ,
" it's all my fault ", Johnathan interrupted,
" so now you are taking all the blame for her",Katherine accused Johnathan
Johnathan got up and took a deep breath , " Katherine, I am sorry for whatever happened, but the reality is .....reality is that I have always been in love with Veronica , I can't keep you in darkness anymore ",
Katherine stood at her spot all frozen , a sorrowful tear of pain streamed down on her cheek as she looked at him with disbelief,
" how could you .....how COULD YOU ?!?! ", she shouted ,
" my whole life , I have always loved only one person and that is you John , I never dated anyone , I always protected you , I always stood by your side , I gave up my career for you , now you are telling me that you never loved me! ",
She continued in a threatening tone , " this is all because of you Veronica ",
She looked at her ,
Veronica raised her eyes and stood up to make Katherine understand her side ,
" Kathy , I know we have done wrong , bu—but I never intended to ruin your marriage ",
" if you would have cared then you would have told me about Johnny proposing you one day before our wedding ",
Veronica was speechless, she knew she should have done something , she thought that her blind eye would diffuse the situation but it just escalated everything,
Katherine started breathing heavily, she came closer to Veronica and stood right in front of her face ,
" if you would have cared , you would have left us alone by going far far away ",
" KATHERINE!! ",
Veronica and Katherine's mother Samantha stood up briskly , " how dare you say something atrocious like that ?!, " she spat ,
" she is family !",
" Even she should have remembered that I am her sister, she is not my sister anymore , she is a home wrecking bitch !",

Veronica kept looking at her in disbelief, she was out of words , she never thought that in million years her own sister would say something like that , something so hurtful, something so heartbreaking,
She gulped and snorted while controlling her emotions, " I think I should leave , you are right Kathy , I don't want to come between you and Johnathan , he is all yours , I will shift to Paris next month ",
She plainly said and left the room ,
Next 4 weeks were awkward but silent , nobody wanted to talk about the incident so fake normalcy was the only way opted by all ,
Veronica kept working non stop , day and night to keep herself busy, she stopped talking to people , she started unleashing her frustration and aggression over her juniors , she was not frustrated because Katherine has stopped talking to her , she knows that one day or another her sister will heal and they will reconcile but she has not been able to meet Jessica for about a month as Kathy has denied her access to see her niece ,
Veronica started planning to shift Paris , her Paris home was all decorated and designed , only she had to do was to get into it ,
Every moment was painful as hell for her but she had to drink this poison of abandonment by her family , nobody tried to understand that she would never betray the trust of her family but they all relied upon what Katherine perceived,
It was one week before her shifting , she was sitting in front of her TV and sipping wine ,

She swiftly hit the green button ,

" hey Kath , Wass up ? ", she tried to sound as normal and cheerful as she can ,
After a pause of one minute Katherine spoke , " at the end of the day , we are sisters, real sisters, and only thing we have learnt is that family is everything ",
She continued, " that is why , I want to meet you so that we can bury all our grudges and start a new fresh ",
" I am happy that you are now understanding my side , I will never do anything to hurt my Kathy , I would love to meet you ",
