everyone around gasped.
jisung still kept his eyes shut, knowing deep in his soul that the blade had ended his lover's life.
"jisung- what are you doing?!?!?!"
the frantic voice of his king behind him sent a shot of confusion up his spine.
"i said kill him!"
i said kill him.
shooting his eyes open, jisung saw the sword sticking into the ground infront of him, missing the head of his lover by millimetres.
tilting his head a bit to the left, he saw the very much alive face of chenle, with the biggest smile on his face, yet still crying hysterically.
he... missed?
the thought of a life without chenle entered his head.
he remembered feeling his body twist to the right when the image materialised.
"jisung kill him now i command you!"
i command you.
and yet his body wasn't moving.
carefully, he tried to move his own hands...
and they pried free from the handle of the sword.
stepping back, he looked down at his hands, chuckling at the fact he had overpowered his master.
he looked in the direction of this said master, who looked distraught.
"j-jisung?!?!"
"not so powerful now, are we?"
the voice of the figure made everyone tremble.
jisung laughed, "you don't know how strong love can be, hmm?"
"love? what do you mean by this? jisung i think you need to calm down a little-"
"oh i need to calm down? after the years and years of torment you put me through? good luck fighting them without me."
chenle watched the scene unfold after dragging himself into a sitting position, mesmerised by the power his boyfriend was exuding.
"jisung i think you're being ridiculous. why does the life of this cheating..." he scrambled for the right word.
"i think you've said enough." jisung said before walking back to where chenle was.
he held out a hand, to which chenle furrowed his brows, and pointed to the small spots of blood seeping through his pants.
chenle still felt nothing, but he could tell he wasn't in a great state.
jisung didn't realise until now how much damage had been done.
his hand dropped, and instead walked closer to chenle's army.
"what is wrong with you?!"
nobody wanted to answer as this killing machine was talking to them collectively, but one person had the confidence to speak up.
"what is wrong with my future husband cheating on me with another man? don't you think that's disgusting?"
"don't act like you love him, yeji."
her eyes widened, along with the people around her.
"how dare you?!? i am his fiancé!"
"his arranged fiancé; it's an important detail."
"how... do you know this?" she asked with confusion.
"hah... should i show you?"
"go on, give us a little party trick."
"i might not describe it as little."
jisung gripped the edge of his hood, and whipped the cloak off of his body entirely.
what ensued was screams of several different emotions.
the man standing before him was the one chenle had been cheating on yeji with.
and yeji couldn't be angrier.
"you?!?!"
"surprise?"
"you... mother... fucking... piece... of shit!"
"ey ey, language miss 'i really did love him'. look, keep lying to yourself that you have feelings for him. and it's very hard at the moment trying to not put you to sleep after what you did to him that night."
jisung directed this last sentence to chenle's father, who had taken a step back and was terrified, "she tried to force herself onto him, you know."
eyes stared at yeji.
"what's better, a loving relationship between two men or a hateful, toxic, tiring relationship between a man and a woman with no trace of care for eachother? take your pick. if our titles of being men irk you so much then i don't think we should be around you people any longer. it's bad for our health."
jisung turned around and approached chenle again, and carefully picked him up bridal style.
he winced a little, feeling something, and jisung saw that he had become paler than before.
the taller started to panic.
"oh, and another thing.", he turned back towards them, "this king right here? who's supposed to be chenle's father? you're a disgrace. how fucking dare you hurt him like this."
"i am not his father. he is no longer my son. i have no respect for you people."
jisung was just about to make his grand exit when he heard a faint sound.
"hurting him was satisfying."
lighting a fire in his stomach, jisung whispered something to the smaller, before recieving a weak nod.
only a second went by as wings sprouted from his shoulders, horns grew on the top of his head and he stood taller than before.
scooping chenle up in one wing, he used his free hands to rip the blade out of the ground, and launch it straight towards the voice.
with satisfaction, jisung watched as the sword struck the king's left shoulder, making him fly backwards, and pinning him to a tree several meters behind where he was stood.
"and that's...", jisung picked chenle up in his arms again, "a wrap."
spreading his wings, jisung started to fly off, smiling a little at the screams behind him getting fainter and fainter and fainter.
