The guardian of Avalon came into the room and looks at Tassel, "Is it finally the time?"
"Of course! You will proceed," he replied
The person then walks to the door to exit the house
"Well, a special person will debut in the next chapter," Tassel said

In a dream
Victor can be seen laying on the ground at some sort of field and sunsets behind him. He opens his eyes and looks around in confusion trying to know what's going on
"Where am I? How did I get here?" He wondered
He then stood up and wandering around trying to find someone who is nearby, but when he went to the forest, he sees someone who looks exactly like him
"You're... Me?"
That person then looks back at him, "Where's everyone..."
"Huh?"
"It's cold..."
"What are you talking about?" He asked
The person lends his hand towards him, "Save me..."
Before Victor could process what is going on, a dark portal appeared that sucked the person into the portal. He tried to save him but it was too late, he already had disappeared
"Was that Victor Sword? Ryugh told me to find him," Victor said to himself
His surroundings then turns to a black void where it's just endless darkness
"This must be a dream," he said
"It isn't,"
He turned around to see the same person who looks exactly like him, "Tell me, are you Victor Sword?"
"You know me?" He asked about him knowing his identity
"I heard people talk about you, so I thought it could be," Victor replied
"Those... Aren't,"
"What? Wait what happened to you?" He asked
"The tragedy... It was so... Terrifying," he replied
"You mean the tragedy where the Megiddos attacked the world?" Victor asked
"Indeed, and I was sent... To eternal darkness," he replied
"So you... Died?"
"I was still alive, and the torture of timeless endless dark void is what scares me," he replied
"Then, how are you here?" Victor asked
"Because..." Before he could say it, he disappeared before he could finish it
"Victor Sword... I need to know what happened to him," he said

Chapter 23: The sorrow from the dream
In the Fantastic Bookcafe Kamiyama
Victor came to via the fridge and goes the cafe that's still closed after he woke up. There he met Gloria that's setting up the cafe before it opens
She turned her head to see him, "Oh, good morning,"
"Good morning," he responded
"How did you slept?" Gloria asked
"It was... Strange, I could say," Victor responded
"Strange? You mean dreams?" She asked
"Yeah, there's something I want to talk about," he said
"What do you wanna talk about?" Gloria asked
"There's... Another version of me in this world," Victor responded
She stops and looks at him, "Another version of you?"
"Yes, and he told me that he was killed by someone during the tragedy 3 years ago," he replied
"So you were talking to him during your dream?" Gloria asked
"Not only that, but back in the Wetlands, Ryugh told me something," Victor said
"What did he tell you?" She asked
"He told me to find someone named Victor Sword," he responded
"If he told you that, then how can we find him if he's already dead?" Gloria asked
"That's the question I'm trying to find answer of. After knowing that he was killed by someone," Victor replied
"Is there more than telling his death?" She asked
"Let's see... He told me, he was in a dark place where everything feels timeless," he said
"Don't you think the Ankokuken Kurayami is somehow connected to that?" Gloria suggested
"What about it?"
"The Ankokuken Kurayami, it has a power to send anyone to the dark void," she replied
"If that's true, then I have to find out more about how to release the unfortunate souls trapped within the void," Victor said
"Does the books help?"
"I'll try that, but for now, resume this for later," he said
"Okay,"
As he was about to open the fridge to go to the base, he stopped and waiting for something. Until the fridge door was open and it was Hop
"Oh, Victor. Morning," Hop said
"Morning to you," Victor replied
"So what were you guys talking about?" He asked
"I'm going to the base to find out more about the Ankokuken Kurayami. So move out of the way," he replied
"Okay,"
He got out of the fridge then Victor went in the fridge and closes the door. Hop goes to the tea shelves where they keep the dried tea leaves to pick up the black tea. He opens the container to see it's empty
"It seems we ran out of black tea," Hop said
"Is there something wrong, Hop?" Gloria asked
"Look, we ran out of this tea," he replied and showed her the empty container
"I'll buy some,"
"Okay, becareful,"
Gloria exited out of the cafe to go to the store to buy some tea leaves while Hop stayed

At Victor
He's in the hallway and going to the base until he met with the girl from the Ankokuken Kurayami
"Oh, Victor. Good morning," the girl said
"Morning," he replied
"What are you doing today?" She asked
"I'm going to the base, what about you?" Victor asked
"I'm going to the cafe,"
"Have you recovered your memories yet?" He asked
"No, I haven't,"
"Whatever it may be, take some time before telling us, we'll like to know what happened to you," Victor said
"Thanks,"
Then, Ryan came by and see them both
"Hey!"
"Hi, Ryan," Victor said
"So what are you going to do since the Megiddo aren't around for now?" Ryan asked
"I'm going to the base to find out more about the Ankokuken Kurayami," he replied
"What are you going to find out?" He asked
"I want to know how to use the dark void, and maybe freeing the unfortunate souls within the blade," Victor replied
"That's cool, what about you... Um, what's your name?" Ryan asked the girl
"I don't have a name yet," she replied
"You have no name?" He asked
"It's more like she forgot her name," Victor said
"Oh, if that's so, how about the name Romina?" He suggested
"..."
"..."
"... Did I say something offensive?" Ryan asked
"You mean Romania?" She asked
"No! I said Romina! Isn't that a great name?" He asked
"No, it doesn't," she replied
"Then what name suits you!?" Ryan asked
"I prefer to know what my name is through recovering my memories," she replied
"How will you recover it?" He asked
"Soon, hopefully,"
"It's for the best," Victor said
"Guess that's fine... I'll go to the cafe now," Ryan said
"I'm going there too," the girl said
"It seems we'll see again later, I'm going," Victor said
Victor walks away to get to the base to know more about the Seiken

At Gloria
She had just exited out of the store and gotten the tea leaves to refill the supplies
"I think this will be enough for the month," she said while looking into the bag
Then, she bumped into someone and quickly apologize
"Ow! Sorry! It was my fault," she said
"That's fine, but that's an exception,"
Gloria recognise the voice and turned her head to see Zooous who she had bumped
"Zooous? What are you doing here?" Gloria asked
"To use the Alter Ride Book," she responded

Back to Victor
He's reading the book about the Ankokuken Kurayami and how he can use it
"There's so many steps for this, I don't know if I can do it. How did Ryugh do it? Must be a lot of practice," Victor said
He then gets a call from his Risephone and answered the call. The call is in video call and he sees it's Ash and his friends
"Hello? Why'd you call?" He asked
"Victor, we want to show you something,"
"Show me what?"
"This," Bonnie showed Victor on camera a small green Pokemon
"We thought since you're from another region, that you'll know what pokemon this is,"
"Yeah, well do you know that this is?"
"I'm not particularly the person who knows a lot about different types of Pokemon species, Hop probably knows more than I do but unfortunately I don't," Victor responded
"Aw, I thought you'd know,"
"It's okay, assumptions about people thinking they know something but isn't true. Say, what do you call that thing you're holding?" He asked
"It's name is Squishy! Because it's so squishy! Look,"
Victor chuckled at it, "I can see why you would name it that way, but if you know what it is, then consider naming it in a formal way, like Zygarde or something,"
"Okay!"
"Right, see you,"
"See you later,"
They hung up the call and he puts the phone to his pocket
"I don't know what pokemon that is, it was truly rare for any trainer to find an unidentified Pokemon," said while continuing to flipping the book
Till then, someone swung open the door of the base that got his attention. Ryan came in and looked worried
"What is the matter, Ryan?" Victor asked
"Victor! It's about Gloria," he responded
"What about her?" He asked
Hop came into the base as well, "It's been an hour since she left,"
"How far is the store?" Victor asked
"It's supposed to be a 5 minute walk, but she hasn't come back," he replied
Then, Tonare came to the base, "Guys, there's a Megiddo activity going on,"
"Really?" Victor asked
"Yeah, check your GPS app," he replied
"Okay, Hop. Let's move out," he said
"Right behind,"
Both went out of the base and Ryan follows them
"I'm going too!"
Ryan was pushed back by Victor into the base
"No no, you stay," he said before leaving
"Why can't I come along!?" He asked

Outside
In Lumiouse city
A Megiddo is causing destruction in part of the city. The Megiddo has a cat-like horrendous face and wields a claw-style pole-arm
Victor and Hop arrived at the location of the Megiddo that's making a lot of commotion from the civilians its attacking
"Is this the Megiddo?" Hop asked
"It's already obvious, and we need to get rid of it quickly before it can hurt more people," Victor said
"On it,"
Both took out their Driver's and put it on their waist then took out the Wonder Ride Books and open the pages
"Tri Cerberus! Needle Hedgehog! Lamp Do Alangina!"
"Dragonic Knight!"
They closes the books before inserting it into the Driver slot. The giant version of the books appeared behind them and they put their hands on the handle
"Henshin!"
"Henshin,"
Both of them draw their Seiken out of the Driver that activated their transformation
"IKAZUCHI BATTOU!"
"REKKA BATTOU!"
The Cerberus, yellow thorns, and a yellow genie comes out of Hop's Ride Books while the red dragon got out of Victor's book. They go around them until it becomes their rider forms
"Golden Alangina!~"
"(Dragonic Knight ~) Dragonic Knight!"
"Let's go, this going to be easy," Victor then ran towards the Megiddo
"If you say so," Hop said and runs to the Megiddo
Victor tried to get the first hit by swinging his Seiken but the Megiddo block it with its pole-arm weapon, not long after Hop came in and slashed it with his Seiken, backing it up
Both rejoined and goes over to the Megiddo. The Megiddo tries to block their attacks but they moved to each other sides and slashed at the same time at the Megiddo
"This one is a lot easier," Hop said
"I know, let's finish this," Victor said
"Right," Hop then inserts his Seiken into the Driver and press the trigger
"Reading Finish!"
"It seems this will be our new record," Victor said then inserting his Seiken into the Driver before pressing the trigger
"Reading Finish!"
Both then draw out their Seiken out of the Driver, Hop's Seiken is engulfed in yellow electricity while Victor's is engulfed in flames
"Victor, finish this up!" Hop said and throws his Seiken at him
Victor caught the Seiken in time, "All right!" He turned his head to the Megiddo to finish it while its backing up
He then ran towards the Megiddo and is going to swing the Seiken at the Megiddo to finish it
"Cerberus! Hedgehog! Alangina! 3 Volumes Slash! THU-THU-THU-THUNDER!"
"Dragonic Finishing Slash!"
"Flame and Lightning Grand Revolution!"
As Victor about to slash the Megiddo off to finish it, a head appears on its chest that made him stop and look at it. He sees that the head belongs to Gloria
"Gloria...?" Victor said
"What's going on? Why'd you stop?" Hop asked
"Victor... Help..." She begged for help
Before he could process what just happened, the Megiddo strike him with the claw-style pole-arm at him that knocked him back and rolling over. Hop came to him
"Victor! What happened!?" Hop asked
"Hop... It's Gloria..." Victor replied
"What about her?" He asked
Then, they heard a sound like someone just went down and landed on its feet. They turned their heads to see it's Zooous that's going up to the Megiddo
"You... Did you do this?!" Victor asked
"I'm surprised you didn't think of that at first," Zooous said
"So you did that! Why's Gloria in the Megiddo!?" He asked
"Cause why not? It's called making an opportunity for us to win this fight against you Swordsmans," she responded
"And using a hostage is necessary for that!?" He asked
"We do anything and everything to win," Zooous replied
"I don't know what Team Despair had in mind... If it's this... I will destroy them!" Victor said
"If so, then how can you defeat this Megiddo? Not only it has the Swordswoman of Water, but has other civilians trapped inside the Megiddo and wearing them like accessories," Zooous asked
"It... What...?" Hop said
Then, the keychain on the Megiddo started to show human faces out of the keychain. Showing their misery to them
"Do you see it now? If you want to crush or destroy Team Despair, you should be able to free them without hurting or killing them in the process. You should know better than this," she said
"I... Won't forgive you..." Victor said
"I'll see if you are really going to keep that before your death," Zooous said
Zooous then walks away from them with the Megiddo following her behind. Both of them cancel their transformation and Victor is on his knees after frighteningly seeing the face of
"Victor,"
"Hop, go back to the cafe, I'll be there soon," he gives back his Seiken to him
"If that's okay with you, I'll give you some time to process what just happened," he took back the Seiken
Hop then leaves leaving Victor alone having the thoughts about freeing her out
"What... Can I do...?"

At Zooous and the Megiddo
They're in an alleyway away from people's sight. The Megiddo cancel its transformation and show it was Gloria behind it, she collapsed to the ground after she was turned to the Megiddo
She felt cold after the Megiddo is out from controlling her, "I... Feel cold... What did you do to me...?"
Zooous went over to Gloria and crouches down, "You want to know?"
"W-what are you going to do with me...? Why is it so...cold...?" Gloria asked
"You and those humans will be a hostage for a plan, and that cold feeling, it is a sensation of death," Zooous responded
"Huh...?"
"Your body, it has not been making it warm itself, and if it runs cold, that means your body is slowly becoming a corpse by time passes," she replied
Gloria was shocked by the fact that she's going to die very soon, "No... It can't be...!"
"Yes, it can be, and you can never get it back," Zooous responded
"No..." She face-planted on the ground, "Victor... Save me..."

At the Fantastic Bookcafe Kamiyama
Hop came back to the cafe and seeing Ryan, Tonare, and the girl
"I'm back," Hop said
"Where's Victor?" Tonare asked
"He's... He said he'll be here soon," he replied
"Why? What happened?" He asked
"What about the Megiddo?" Ryan asked
"It... Got away..." Hop replied
"Can you tell us what happened exactly?" Tonare asked
"The Megiddo... Has Gloria trapped within its body," he replied
They were shocked to hear news about Gloria being trapped within the Megiddo
"Wait what? Gloria?" Ryan said
"But how can we get her out?" The girl asked
"I have no idea, Victor probably knows about it," Hop replied
"I know," Tonare said
"You know, Tonare?" He asked
"I know how to separate her out of the Megiddo," he said
"How? Tell me,"
"It takes time to get it right," Tonare said
"I would do anything to free her, and make Victor out of the saddened state," Hop said
"Okay, I'll tell you,"

The next day
At Victor
He's still haven't came back to the cafe after his encounter with the Megiddo. It's raining outside and he's sitting on a bench
"What can I do... I'm trying to remember what Touma taught me..." Victor said to himself
He went silent for the moment as the rain drops hitting the ground around him. The silence was broken by someone
"You're feeling down today?"
Victor was spacing out and got back to reality and turned his head to see who it is. He turned to see it's Storious with an umbrella standing beside him
"Storious..." He said while getting up from the bench, "What do you want?"
"Relax, I don't plan on fighting you, yet," Storious replied
"Is it true from Zooous, that you and Team Despair is planning on something?" He asked
Storious chuckled, "That's ridiculous, why would we do that horrible stuff,"
"What are you talking about? Team Despair is a team full of bad guys who is going to merge the worlds, am I correct?" Victor asked
"Certainly there's some right and wrong," he replied
"How some is wrong?"
"Cause you haven't seen our true pictures yet," Storious said
"True... Pictures?"
"I mean, the members who joined Team Despair must have a reason to be recruited," he said
"You mean destroying and doing crimes?" Victor asked
"No, that's too old school for our standards. We like to do it with style," Storious replied
"That is?"
"Ruining someone's life," he replied
"Ruining someone's life... You mean, me?" Victor asked
"Pfft, why would we do that?" Storious asked
"After our multiple encounters, I'm not surprised if it's going to be me," he said
"You know what? Fine you're right, it is you," he said
"We're going circles now, so what do you want from me?" Victor asked
"Just asking,"
"Asking what?"
"Did you fought a Megiddo you can't defeat? Tell me truthfully, I won't do anything to you," Storious asked
"Yeah... It was a Megiddo that Zooous created probably," Victor replied
"What's the Megiddo about? What makes it hard for you to defeat?" He asked
"It's that..."
"Is it because your girlfriend was made as a hostage isn't it?" He asked
"So you know!"
"I didn't knew about it earlier before Zooous told me about it," Storious said
"Then tell me, what type of Megiddo is that!?" Victor asked while grabbing his collar
"Put your hands off me if you want an answer," Storious said
Victor puts his hands off of him, "Then what's the type of Megiddo was it?"
"It's rather difficult to explain in simple terms, however the Megiddo you fought is a special one," he responded
"What about it,"
"So, we made a new type of Alter Ride Book that create a new type of Megiddo. These Megiddo needed hosts to function properly," Storious said
"Where does she put into this?" Victor asked
"Well, it's to make you have an emotional breakdown of knowing your loved one is now in danger, and serve as a hostage and possibly a sacrifice," he replied
"What..."
"They made sure that it was attached deeply, and that when you try your finisher, it won't separate her from the Megiddo, and resulted into her death," Storious said
"If... A finisher won't work... Then what can I do...?" Victor asked
"There is a solution to this," he said
"Tell me... Tell me how!" Victor asked desperately
Storious took out the forbidden tome he received from the Master, "With this tome, you'll reach a greater height. And a greater new form,"
"Then give me that, I want to save her," Victor said
"If you do, I'll warn you about the usage," Storious said
"That's fine, I'll have whatever it takes to get her out of there," he said
"It seems like a deal, I'll notify you when the Megiddo is back," he said
"I have no choice but to accept your offer," Victor said
"Good luck, brother," he said under his breath and grin

In the Sword of Logos base
Hop hot out of the Libération and is exhausted for training his Seiken. Tonare also got out of the Libération exhausted too from training with him
"Do you think it's enough?" Hop asked
"I don't think so, it needs time," Tonare replied
"Why does it take so much burden to master this?" He asked
"It has something to do with how your Seiken feels about you," he replied
"What does that mean?"
"Your Seiken, or any Seiken in general, chooses it's wielder and if it were to trust it's wielder fully, it'll unlock an ability beyond what you have currently," Tonare replied
"And that's where the separation ability comes in?" Hop asked
"Exactly, that's the only way to get her to be separated," he replied
"Everybody!"
They turned their heads to see the girl coming up to them
"What is it?" Hop asked
"Take a look at this," she took out a book that's glowing bright light from its pages then open its page. It showed a screen hologram of the Megiddo from yesterday in some sort of cave
"That's where it is now?" Tonare asked
"What book is that?" He asked
"I don't know, but it starts lighting up and I saw this when I open it," she replied
"I know, that book, it is used to detect a Megiddo's presence," Tonare responded
"Really? Why didn't you say that earlier than having my phone to track it?" He asked
"Doesn't matter, let's go,"
Both nodded and goes to run to the door but tripped. They turned their heads to see Ryan is sleeping on the floor with blankets and pillows
"Ryan!?"
Ryan woke up and see them, "Good morning, guys,"
"Why were you sleeping there!?" Hop asked
"I didn't have a room to sleep in, so I chose to sleep here," he replied
"There's a room that's available for you to sleep in!" He said
"Wait really?"
"Let's just continue, we're wasting time," Tonare said
Both got up and ran towards the door to go to the Megiddo while Ryan goes back to sleep
"Are you really going to sleep here?" She asked
"Wake me up if Gloria comes back," Ryan said before tucking into the blankets and starts snoring
"O...Kay?"

At the cave
A book gate appears and both Hop and Tonare comes out of the book to get to the Megiddo
"Where is it?" Hop asked
"Look!" Tonare pointed out that the Megiddo is in the middle of the cave
"Let's go," Hop was about to go to the Megiddo but Tonare made him to hide behind a rock, "What're you doing!?"
"Shh, there's other Megiddo here," Tonare whispered
"What?" Hop look over to see many other Megiddos they've fought once before, "They're here? What are they going to do?"
"I'm not sure what are they planning, but this looks like a trap," Tonare replied
"But who's for?" Hop wondered
Then, above the cave and the Megiddos, there was Zooous and Legeiel
"Do you think this will work?" Legeiel asked
"Ask Storious, not me," Zooous replied
Another book gate then appears beside them and Storious cones out of it
"You took too long," Legeiel said
"My apologies, but let's watch," Storious said
"Do you think it'll work?" Zooous asked
"Trust the process," Storious replied
Then, a book gate appears and the person who comes out of it was none other than Victor
He looks around and see the Megiddo that Gloria was trapped in, "Gloria!" Then he ran after it
Before long, the Megiddos in the cave starts using their projectiles towards the Megiddo. The Megiddo gets hit by all of the projectiles the other Megiddos thrown at it
Victor watches as the Megiddo that he was trying to save then explode in front of him while running towards it before stopping when he got close
The explosion cleared to show Gloria where the Megiddo was before going down to her knees. Victor then rushed towards her aid and caught her before she fell
"Gloria! Hang in there! Gloria!" He said with terror and panic because he knows if the Megiddo was defeated like this, then she'll die
Unfortunately however, she wasn't responding to his cries. Victor was shaking her body to trying to get a response, "Gloria! This can't be! Gloria!"
Both Hop and Tonare was watching as Victor was trying to get her to say something
"Did... Did she die...?" Hop asked
"If the Megiddo was defeated in that way... Then... She's going to die..." Tonare responded with bad news
"No way..." Hop was lost for words
Victor was looking at her dead body with a light blue eyes vaguely appears. The Megiddos were staring at him as he puts her down before standing up
"So is this where he'll be back?" Zooous asked
"Yes... Yes! He's back!" Storious responded
"I'm interested..." Legeiel said with a grin on his face
Victor took out the forbidden Tome he got from Storious and opening the book. A long light blue talon comes out of the book with purple energy that goes to the Megiddo around in the radius to attack them
The Megiddo near the book was smack away by the void talon before it goes back to Victor and wraps around him. He screeched as the void talon wrapping around him until it dissipate and now he has the light blue eyes fully seen
In his hand, the cursed purple energy was forming a book until it was complete to show a new Ride Book
"Primitive Dragon!"
He took out the Brave Dragon Ride Book then open the Primitive Dragon Ride Book
Then he inserted the Brave Dragon into the Primitive Dragon slot
"Brave Dragon! Get!"
He insert the Ride Book into the slot of the Seiken Swordriver and puts his hand on the handle but faces his palm up instead of down. The bigger version of the book appears behind him with the light blue skeletal dragon above the book
Zooous, Legeiel, Storious, Hop, and Tonare were watching his transformation taking place
Victor looks back at the Megiddos one last time before his transformation, "Henshin..." He said in a low voice before pulling out the sword out of the Driver
"REKKA BATTOU!"
The light blue skeletal dragon goes down to wrap around Victor covering him before turning into his rider form
"Rattle! Rattling! Bone! Crackle! Crackling! Bone! Primitive Dragon!"

"Crap crap crap! Shiver me timbers! The most terrifying form was revealed! And unfortunately this one is filled with emotions, meaning it can't be stop unless there's someone with a more powerful powers to stop him! Guardian! Where are you! Victor needs your help!" Tassel shouted

Inside the Fantastic Bookcafe Kamiyama. Ryugh is seen sitting on one of the chairs in the cafe, resting his head with his arm to lift it up
"I'm so bored..." he said
Then, Naomi came and saw him, "What are you doing?"
"I'm sooo bored... there's nothing interesting today..." Ryugh replied
"Well, you're in luck because with me, I have some fun facts to share," she responded and took out 6 folded papers
"A fun fact won't cure my boredom..." he replied
"It can, since Kamen Rider already have a fun fact episode, this time it's about pokemon," Naomi said
"Meh, what interesting fact do pokemon has? About how a pokemon can explode on their own?" Ryugh asked
"Don't judge a book by its cover, you should already know that. I'll read some to you if you won't," she said and unfolds one of the papers and read it, "People and pokemon are one of the same,"
"Pfft, that's the most boring fact I've ever heard," he said
"I'll read another one if that doesn't interest you," Naomi said and unfold another paper again to read it, "A bond between people and Pokemon are too strong to break if given time,"
Ryugh yawned at the fact, "Couldn't believe that's considered a fact,"
"Then read one, I bet one will have your interest," she said and gives him 3 papers
"Fine, it better be interesting," he said and unfolds one of the papers to read, "There once was an incident in which a Hypno took away a child it hypnotized and lead it towards an unknown location, it is unknown where it has taken the child... Naomi what is this?"
