"Now, I'm ready to sing," I said.
"Alright," Levy said.
"Break a leg, Fairy Girl," Gajeel said.
"Thanks, Gajeel," I said. "Play the song, Levy."
"Right," Levy said, pressing play on the song. "Hey, everyone! Y/n wants to sing a song that's related to her type of magic!"
As soon as the words left Levy's mouth, everyone in the guildhall directed their attention towards me. And as soon as the music started playing, I took a deep breath and started flying up into the air and around the guild hall.

As soon as I was done singing, I detransformed and could hear everyone clapping and cheering for me. Then I heard Master Makarov say something.
"Encore!" Master cheered.
"Well," I said, turning towards Gajeel. "Ready for our duet?"
"I guess," Gajeel said, grabbing the microphone.
"Hey, Levy?" I asked. "Can we do Monster by Eminem featuring Rihanna? Please?"
"Sure, n/n," Levy said, pulling up the next song. "Hey, everyone! Y/n and Gajeel are going to do a duet together!"
"Thanks Lev," I said. "You're the best friend a girl could ask for."
"No problem, Y/n," Levy said. "Happy to help."
Soon after, the music started playing.

Once Gajeel and I were done, I could hear the entire guild erupt in applause. I wasn't really expecting that kind of reaction to be honest.
"Well," I said, blushing from embarrassment. "I wasn't expecting this."
"Yeah," Gajeel said.
Right after Gajeel left the karaoke machine to go be by himself, I could hear Romeo cheering.
"Again!" Romeo said. "Again! I wanna hear another song!"
"Alright," I said. "Levy, could you pull up Sirenix by Elsia Rosselli?"
"But why?" Levy asked.
"Because I always hear that song whenever I transform into my Sirenix form," I said. "And it's a fun song to listen to and sing. A-and I want the guild to see my Sirenix form. Speaking of which, I need to transform real quick. Wanna see me transform?"
"YEAH!" Levy cheered, excited to see how I transform.
"Sure," Gajeel replied, voice as gravelly as ever.
"Alright then," I said, stepping back to transform. "Y/n, Sirenix!" That's when I transformed into my Sirenix form. "Y/n, Fairy of Balance!"
"Whoa!" Levy gasped, sounding excited.
"U-uhh..." Gajeel stuttered. It kind of sounded like he was nervous about something, but I'm not sure what he could've been nervous about.
"You look so beautiful, n/n!" Levy cheered, causing me to blush from embarrassment.
"Thanks, Lev," I replied. "Now, mind getting the guild's attention for me?"
"Yeah," Levy said, pulling up the song. "Attention, everyone! Our residential Fairy of Balance, Y/n, would like to sing another song related to her type of magic! Let's giver her our full attention!"
After Levy was done getting everyone's attention, she played the song. And once the music started, I flew up into the air again and started flying around the guild hall while singing.

Levy's POV
After the song was done, Y/n flew back down and was smiling like nothing happened this morning.
"What's up with Fairy Girl?" Gajeel asked. "I've never seen her smiling so much."
Just then, Stella flew towards us as soon as she heard me and Gajeel talking.
"She must be happy to have friends in her life that love her for who she is and not for what she is," Stella explained.
"What do you mean by that, cat?" Gajeel questioned Stella.
"Y/n's never really had a stable childhood," Stella replied. "Her mother passed away when she was five years old and her father blamed Y/n for her mother's death. Then she ran away from home when she was about seven or eight years old to escape her father. But she has fun here in Fairy Tail. She's happy to be here in Fairy Tail, to have a family that cares about her more than anything in the world."
"Huh. Didn't know that about her," Gajeel said. "At least she's happy."
"Yeah," I said. "But I'm scared that her happiness won't last very long."
"Hm," Gajeel hummed, turning around and walking away to find Y/n. "Well, we'll have to make sure that her happiness will last for a long time."
"Huh," Stella gasped. "I didn't think you would be the type of guy to try and make sure that a girl would stay happy. That's weird."
"Well, I think that it's a good quality for a guy to have," I countered. "I like that about him. He's always trying to make Y/n laugh and smile."
"Whatever," Gajeel grumbled. "I just don't want to see Fairy Girl upset, that's all. As long as she's smiling and doing what she loves, I don't care if I make her smile."
Y/n's POV
After I flew down, I went over to find where Stella went. I knew she came to the guild hall with me but I can't find her anywhere. That's when I heard three very familiar voices talking to each other, so I turned around and saw Stella talking to Gajeel and Levy.
"Huh," I said to myself. "I wonder what they're talking about."
And so, I flew over to them to find out what the three of them were talking about. After landing, I snuck up behind them and started to talk to them.
"Hey, guys," I greeted, accidentally scaring them.
"ARGH!" they screamed, scared by me.
"Y/n, don't scare us like that!" Stella exclaimed.
"Sorry," I replied, rubbing the back of my neck. "But I was just wanting to know what you guys were talking about."
"Oh," Levy replied. "We were just talking about how you were smiling like you would back when you first joined the guild."
"Oh, okay," I responded. "I guess you're right, Lev. I have been smiling a lot more lately."
"It's not just that you've been smiling a lot more, Y/n," Stella countered. "You've been laughing like never before. And every time we see you flying around the guild hall, it like you've never had such a troubled past."
"They're right, you know," Gajeel added. "I don't think I've ever seen you like this before."
What are they talking about? 'Never seen me like this before'? I'm always laughing and having fun with my Fairy Tail family.
"What do you mean, Gajeel?" I questioned.
"You're always smiling when you're flying, just like Stella said," Gajeel stated. "It's something that makes everyone around you smile and laugh. You've never noticed that before?"
That's when I noticed that Levy turned towards Gajeel. I don't know why, but when Levy looked towards Gajeel, I felt a bit jealous. Maybe this jealousy will go away with time. At least I hope so.
"Gajeel, whenever she's flying around in one of her fairy transformations, she doesn't notice what's going on around her," Levy explained. Then she turned towards me. "But Gajeel's right, n/n. Whenever you're flying, you're always seen with a smile on your face, not having a single care in the world."
"I...I guess you're right," I stuttered. Then I started laughing.
"What are you laughing at, Y/n?" Levy asked.
"I'm just laughing at the fact that you and Stella seen to know me so well," I laughed. "It's not everyday that my two best friends know what's going on inside my head."
"I guess you're right," Levy giggled. "But you still know how to make everyone smile. I guess that's why the guild calls you the Fairy of Balance."
"Well, I guess that's one reason," I laughed. "I mean, as long as I can keep Natsu and Gray in check, I don't care. Anyways, I should probably go home and rest. Using more than one transformation in a single day takes a lot out of me."
"Alright, Y/n," Levy said. "I'll walk you home. We can even chat on the way there."
"Levy! Bring Wendy, Carla, Erza, and Lucy along!" Stella exclaimed. "We can have a big sleepover!"
"Yeah," I replied. "OH! And bring Bisca, Juvia, Cana, Mira, and Lisanna too! Then it'll really be a big sleepover!"
"Alright!" Levy cheered, going to go get the girls for our sleepover at my place.
"Gihee," Gajeel smirked. "Good thing your place is big enough for you and Stella to have 11 people inside."
"Hey, Natsu, Gray, the girls, and I actually build my house," I countered. "I knew that I would make a lot of friends in Fairy Tail, so when I turned 17, I asked Gramps if I could build a three story house on Fairy Hills property with Natsu, Gray, and the girls' help and he said that I could."
"I'm not trying to get you mad, Fairy Girl," Gajeel responded. "I'm just saying that if you're having a lot of people over, it's a good thing that your place is big enough. That's all."
"Whatever," I grumbled. That's when I saw the girls come up.
"Hey, Y/n~san," Wendy greeted. "You ready to go?"
"Yeah," I replied. Then I turned towards Gajeel. "Anyways, I'll see you later Gajeel."
"Later, Fairy Girl," Gajeel said.
Then the girls and I walked out of the guild hall.
