McKennas POV
Today I finally lived up to my words and spent a day with Kate before I was to leave Baja on Thursday. Considering I've been spending so much time with Leo lately I owe it to her to have a girls day. We were currently in a salon getting a pedicure since Kate wasn't allowed to get her nails done for the film
"Have you had any thoughts for a new song?" Kate asked
"Yeah I had a few thoughts, considering my last 2 was sad and slow, Neale wants me to come out with more of an upbeat single"
"Ooooo that'd be good, to think that one day you'll be having concerts of your own is crazy"
"I know right I'm still in disbelief"
"Well don't be, you're songs have been number 1 for a few weeks now"
"Crazy right, both of them are two sappy sad songs about Leo" I sighed, Kate laughed
"Well he had it coming for him"
"Yeah I guess so...has he said anything about the songs to you?" I asked with curiosity. Leo never really said anything of whether he like it or not it was more of guilt of the lyrics I put into the song and asking whether or not it was true
"Oh I'm not doing this again" Kate said. After her snapping at both me and Leo that day we made an agreement to not involve her into our relationship or whatever the heck we had going on. I frowned and nodded deciding to leave but Kate sighed
"He was heartbroken. When he heard 'better' he looked like he couldn't forgive himself. I've heard him sing bleedin love to himself though" she laughed
"No way he sings"
"He doesn't but that song I don't know just gets him in the mood" we both cringed
"Actually that song came on when you locked us in that room" Kate scrunched her face
"Nooo it didn't, I'm so sorry"
"No bother it got us talking, we actually told each other we love each other" Kate snapped her head at me and gleamed with excitement. She let out a small scream
"Ssssh everyone's staring" we scanned the salon and saw everyone's eyes on us. We both awkwardly smiled
"Sorry" she softly said. The lady doing her pedicure shook her head and continued
"I knew you guys were fine now but I never knew you said love each other, what?! This is crazy so does that make Leo your boyfriend?" I paused
"No he hasn't actually asked me yet? But he should soon though right?"
"I'm surprised he hasn't already he usually jumps on to it quite fast...but I mean he said he loves you he wouldn't just be saying it without meaning it"
"I hope so.. I've never been so sure about this before. I've always been on the fence on whether or not I wanted a relationship with him or anyone in that matter"
"When the times right it'll happen, I'm sure of it. And when that happens you guys will soon be married and thanking me at your wedding" I playfully rolled my eyes
"Hold your horses, he's not even my boyfriend"
"Yet" she giggled and smiled cheekily
The next day couldnt come any slower, which was weird because every other day has been a blur. I haven't seen or spoken to Leo since yesterday morning so I was starting to doubt if the date was still happening. I was just sitting in front the television while coming up with some new ideas for my song until there was a knock on the door. I trudge to the door and opened it up
"Oh hey Kate, I wasn't expecting you"
"Hey" she gleamed as she pushed passed me
"I thought you were working today?"
"Yeah but I'm finished now I had an early finish"
"Right" I chuckled "want a drink or anything?"
"No I'm ok...here take this though" she brought out a black bag
"What did you get me" I glared at her as I hesitantly took that bag. I opened it up and there was a dress inside. I pulled it out
"Wow it's gorgeous" Kate said in shock
"I know" I held up the black silk dress that stopped at my shins. There were Lacey coloured flowers decales a the top of the dress and no straps. The split stopped at my just before my hip
"Kate this is so gorgeous, this would have cost a fortune, what's the special occasion?"
"It must've..." she was stood there in awe
"Wait must've? Did you not get this for me?"
"Nope, hold on" she rummaged through her bag and brought out an envelope with my name in large cursive out the front "perhaps this will make everything make more sense" she handed it over to me. I opened it up and brought out the letter

Put this dress on and meet me on the RMS Titanic at 5

"RMS titanic?"
"Oh he must mean the ship we've been doing the set on"
"Ok... oh my god it's 3 already I should start getting ready"
"Oh as a personal request minimal makeup"
"Pfft as if I'm going to do that"
"Don't make me say it Kenna" Kate crossed her arms
"Say what" I laughed
"You don't need it, because you're beautiful just the way you are" I giggled "it's true but it sounds gross having to say it for Leo" she stuck her tongue out
"Ok ok"
It was now 4:30 and I was checking over myself in the mirror. My hair was in a half up half down style with my bangs hanging out and wore heels with the dress Leo has gotten me. Must I add he's got amazing taste for clothes because this hot number literally hugged me in the right places. I made it downstairs, looking out for a taxi to hail but to my surprise a limo hauled right in front of me
"McKenna Roberts?" I nodded slowly. Another man walked out from the front and opened up the door for me. I stood there wondering if I should enter a strangers car. Can never be too careful these days
"Leonardo has sent us to pick you up" I smiled in relief and entered the limo. When I arrived at the ship I saw Leo to be no where in sight. I just followed the fairy lights that were hung up. Thankfully it lead me to the right direction as I stumbled across a single table in the middle of the deck with a wine cooler situated in the middle and a huge bouquet of roses. I scanned my surroundings with awe. Leo put in so much effort for this date it made my heart melt. I could see the Sun starting to go down in the distance. It was exactly 5 now, I wonder where he could be. I made my way to the tip of the ship and leaned against the railings I took in the view. Getting lost in the sea before me. I felt someone come up behind me and wrap their arm around my waist.
"Hey you made it"
"Hi" I smiled without turning around, but with that voice I knew it was Leo. His arms gripped tighter around me waist as he nuzzled his face into my neck
"Do you trust me?" He whispered and I slowly nodded trying to fight the butterflies that grew in me
"Close your eyes" I did as he said.
"Are they close?"
"Yup" I giggled. He grazed his arms along mine so he was now holding my hands
"Step on to the railings" he whispered again. I swallowed
"But I'm wearing heels"
"You trust me right? You'll be ok I've got you" I swallowed as I stepped on to the railings. I felt him move up and do the same. I was terrified but I knew at that point that Leo wouldn't push me or do anything that daring otherwise he'd be coming in with me if I fell. He kissed my cheek and brought out my arms so they were straight out. "Ok open" I opened my eyes and looked ahead. It was such a surreal moment as we watched the sun go down and vanish. I looked behind me to the fairy lights scattered around the postings and railing. It now taken in effect as the sky got darker. I looked at Leo who was already waiting for me to meet his eyes. He slowly leaned in and kissed me. Something about this kiss felt so unreal but it was special. If love was put into a kiss then that is what that was. We broke apart after what felt like hours and we smiled at each
"Let's go eat I'm starving" he said as he hopped of the railings and picked me up to get me off. I gave him the biggest hug before he planted me on the ground. He lead me to the table and pulled out the chair for me to sit on before he went over to his side. I couldnt help but smile giddy
"What?" He asked as he smirked
"I just didn't know Leonardo DiCaprio was a good ole romantic"
"I'm not...and if I'm going to be honest I've never done this with any girl...but you make me feel like I want to do this"
"I'm not complaining" I smiled at him. It then faded as I looked down in front of me to a box with a huge red bow wrapped around it
"Leo no you did not just buy me another gift"
"Just open it" I started to unwraps the bow and open the box
"I can't accept this.... Omg is this a Polaroid camera?!"
"Sure is" I brought it out and had a look at it
"I can't believe you right now"
"I wanted to get you something that'd help you capture memories, figured you didn't have one yet" he shrugged now getting shy
"I love it, we soooo have to use it later after we've eaten"
"Sure" he gleamed
We sat and ate dinner and sipped on wine. We just had pasta but I wasn't surprised as pasta is all this boy eats. Once we finished the plates were taken away. We were oddly quiet but we shared looks every now and then
"So uh was the pasta alright?"
"Yeah it was really good"
"Yeah it was...I'm sorry we didn't go anywhere fancy" I shook my head
"I much rather this, you really outdone yourself" he smiled and sent me a wink as I just melted into my seat. All of a sudden I heard footsteps along the floor boards I turned around to see 3 men wearing sombreros
"No way is that a mariachi band"
"Sure is"
"You never fail to impress me dicaprio"
"Want to dance?" My eyes widened
"What?! Now?"
"Yeah ofcourse"
"I cannot dance Leo remember"
"You're fine from what I can remember, besides it's only us"
"And the mariachi band" I noted. I really didn't want to but how could I refuse his pouted face
"Ok" he grabbed my hands and kisses it before leading me to the open space. He pulled me in. It was nothing too fancy but it was just enough for me. I couldn't help but rest my head on his chest, with my arms around his neck we we swayed side to side
"I hope you really like tonight" he sighed I smiled
"It has been the best night honestly, thank you"
"You look gorgeous tonight, I mean you do everyday"
"You have good taste I love the dress"
"I saw it and it reminded me of you so I thought it'd be perfect for tonight"
"well thank you you didn't have to spoil me though"
"You know if you told me 10 years ago that I'd fall in love with a girl I teased I'd hate myself, like i hate myself still to this day"
"But Leo we've learnt to leave that in the past, remember it's irrelevant" I said quoting his famous quote words
"I know I just feel so guilty, if I could go back then and just change everything I would. You have no idea how I feel about you. I think I really do love you, I didn't want to be moving so fast into saying it but I do love you. The way you smile, your voice, your forgiving attitude. You're just so perfect to me and I'd hate myself if I fell fuck up again and lose you" I felt his heart start to race. His hands starting to get fidgety. I moved my head to look at him and he gave me such a look with awe
"Leo?" I questioned, he was acting off but in a good way. He was just acting so nervous. He let out a shakey breath before locking his eyes with mine. I watched his pupils dilate and his blue iris intensify with colour
"Will you be my girl?...my girlfriend that is"
