The next morning my alarm rang.today was the day.I should be getting my letter to see if I got the audition
Running from my bed towards my door I rushed out the door and to the mail box i quickly open it to see a letter
I open my door back up as I read it only to scream

I quickly got ready and did my morning routine before grabbing my skateboard and rushing to school Mary must've already left because none of her stuff was in the bathroom

I rushed from my room skating to school since Tami couldn't pick me up

He was turning the corner when I crashed into him

"Ok but guess who has an audition with the Manhattan academy of performing arts,me that's who."
"About time they finally realized how talented you are congratulations"he said picking me up into the hair as he hugged me before placing me back onto the ground

Mason and I pulled up to my house as Dominique pulled away in her car
"Well there goes the evil queen" I joked
"Maybe she took her magic mirror,you're off the hook for the weekend"

I tried geetkng out of the car but as soon as I open the door it was shut

He opened the door for me as I got out and shut it behind me. I walked over to my door to see a list of chores for me to do. I'm going to assume Mary is doing hers as I think
"You've gotta be kidding me she's driving me nuts "

He took the list from the door only to reveal a list that's taller than him
"Ok wow um paint the pool pink,regrout the tile,vacuum the driveway this is crazy "he read off
"Well it's chores from Dominique and if I don't do them she'll have my head so uh maybe another time"
I took the list from his hand only for him to snatch them back and walk closer to me
"Or you could do your work while you do her work"
He leaned in sending a quick peck to my lips before leading me into the house
I began to vacuum the carpet in the living room
"Ok let's start off with a basic humming"
"Humming? what do you want me to hum"confusion spread across my face
"Anything"
He began to help me clean as I began to him one of his songs
"So you do listen to my music"

"Ok next I sometimes add dancing to my singing to give it more flavour"

"Ok let's see what you've got"he demonstrated a dance move and I copied him perfectly
We kept going on with more and more exercises until we got to the part where I needed to vacuum the driveway
He chased me with a vacuum as I used a separate one
"Ok for the last exercise we need to go to the roof"he said when we were back in the house after cleaning shoes
"Ok?"i led him to a staircase which led to the roof
"Ladies first"
"You better not stare at my butt"I demanded joking
"Well I wasn't gonna but now that you said something"
"Mason!"
"Kidding"
No he wasn't
As we reached the roof I helped him stabile himself before we both looked at the sunset
"For the last exercise you gotta scream"he told me
"Scream?"
"Scream."
"I gotta be provoked to scream"
"I can think of a way to get you to scream"he smirked
I reached over to hit his arm as a blush crept onto my cheeks
"Sorry,but honestly you gotta scream to get all of the pressure and anxiety and anger off of you so the only thing you can think about is putting your positive emotions into your voice"he explained

"Ok"
He screamed on the top of his lungs and the birds flew from the trees in response
"Ok um here's goes nothing"I tried
I let out the loudest scream I have ever heard come from my mouth
All of the anger I've had over the years from Dominique,the twins,Natalia and anyone else who just pissed me off
It felt good
I look back over to mason who was wiping fake tears from his eyes
"They grow up so fast"
We both chuckled as we went back downstairs and into my room

The last few minutes were spent with mason strumming my guitar to a random melody
"You know what I just realized"
"What"I sat up to get a better look at him
"I didn't tell you that much about me on our first date"

"Ok"he began to strum a melody on his guitar

I began to wonder where Mary was a little while later but I soon got a text on my backup phone from an unknown number
