Chapter 14 - Saturday
We had breakfast at McDonalds, Cyrus's treat. Logan then text me asking if I could meet him at 11am at Jensen and Jared's café, I asked Cyrus,
"Can you drop me off at a café in town for 11am, I'm meeting Logan there?"
"Do I know this Logan?"
"No...but if you're worried you can come in with me to meet him before leaving, I'm sure he'll drop me back home"
"Okay...but you'll have to show me where I'm going"
"Yeah I will do". We stayed in MacDonald's for a while longer, just talking. It was only 9am, as we did leave the house at 7am. Cyrus went off to the toilet and I leant back in the chair, looking out the window.
'Can we see you tomorrow?' the voice I heard in my head, I knew it was Trent. I had no idea how to reply, so just said out loud as if I was talking to myself,
"Why can't you just text me?"
'Really, Demons texting', I rolled my eyes and didn't reply. Cyrus came out of the bathroom and sat down opposite me again.
11am came and I was in Jensen and Jared's. Cyrus had spoken to Logan, over protective big brother! Jensen raised his eyebrows at me when I came in. Will have to tell him what happened, well in a fashion anyway.
"I'm..."
"Before you say anything Logan, can you be truthful to me and tell me whether or not you are a..." I said cutting him off, he replied cutting me off before I said Demon with,
"Yes"
One word, 'Yes', I smiled at him, he wouldn't look at me. I suppose he was ashamed, or worried that I wouldn't want to associate myself with him.
Angry maybe?
"Logan look at me"
"I'm sorry" he said,
"You've got nothing to be sorry for" I told him,
"I do, look at you Tam, you've got your leg in a cast, you were nearly killed...and it's all my fault"
"What is it with Demons and taking the blame?"
"That too...I should have told you"
"You bloody well should have told me, but I'm not mad at you Logan"
"You should be"
"I'm not"
"Are you going to enlighten me in telling me that you and the Sanchez's are actually friends?"
"No" I smiled,
"I didn't think so"
"Do you want a drink?"
"Yes please, you know my favourite", he got up and left to go to the counter, I saw Jensen look over at me. When Logan came back over with my hot chocolate and a chocolate muffin, it was only 11.20am but oh well.
"That guy at the counter wants to know what happened to you"
"I'll tell Jensen before we leave"
"His names Jensen?"
"Yeah, we're friends"
"You and the guy behind the counter"
"You're beginning to sound like Trent"
"What did Trent say?"
"It doesn't matter", I took a sip of my drink. We chatted for a little while longer. Nothing to do with the topic of Demons or anything like that!

"Are you going to tell me what happened to you?" Jensen asked as he came over when Logan disappeared off somewhere and perched himself on the arm of the sofa.
"I kind of nearly got shot and crashed my car into a tree and smashed up my leg",
"Are you always in the wars?"
"No" he smiled,
"This happened after you left here on Tuesday?"
"Yes it did...but..."
"I should have made sure you were okay, getting home and everything, I didn't even ask, I mean, what kind of gentleman am I"
"Jensen"
"Tammara, I'm 23 years old, I should have at least asked you"
"I don't think it would have made a difference" he looked at me to say, what does that mean, but he must have thought twice and then said,
"Do you want to go out to dinner with me this week?" I literally melted inside,
"As like a date?"
"Um...well...yeah as like a date, if you want to that is"
"I'd love to", he smiled and handed me his phone, I put my number in his and handed it back just as Logan appeared,
"Am I interrupting something?" he said,
"No..."
"You have customers waiting for you" Logan said nastily,
"I'll call you later" he said winking at me, I smiled,
"You and him an item?"
"Logan, no, of course we're not, I haven't known him long"
"Long enough to go on a date with him"
"How'd you know I'm going on a date with him?" he shrugged,
"You really annoy me sometimes you know"
"Sorry"

We left at around 2pm, after Logan had brought me a cheese and ham toasty. He didn't eat, said he wasn't hungry, but had a coffee.
"Are you going to take me back to your house?"
"My place isn't very nice"
"I'm sure it's lovely, are you embarrassed?"
"No...I'm just, fine..." he said giving in,
Logan's house was located on the outskirts of town, you went down this long drive to see a modern 3 story house, there was a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo, a black Range Rover sport and a Ferrari F430 spider.
"Logan, is your Mum a demon?" I asked, as he stopped the car,
"My Mum is a human..."
"Then how..." I said trailing off, remembering what I'd researched. Demons posses peoples bodies,
"She doesn't know you're dead does she?" he shook his head,
"This kid Logan was 19, in his first year of Uni, he was out with his mates clubbing, he left early and was walking along the canal back to his digs and fell, he was drowning when I saw him and took over his body... it was either that or he dies, so..."
"Surprisingly I don't find that gross", I leant over and kissed his cheek, "But how are you at sixth form now...?"
"I still ended up in hospital, but discharged myself and left Uni, went on my own for a while, my Mum freaked, I was missing for 3 months, until I decided I couldn't leave this Mum wondering, so I turned up home, of course I was different, I'm a different soul, but she was so grateful and happy I was here she didn't notice...I told her I wanted to go back to sixth form to better my grades, she wasn't exactly going to disagree with me", we got out the car,
"What about you're Dad?"
"He lives in Ireland with...he lives in Ireland"
"With who?", I said as we reached the door, he got out his key,
"No one". He answered opening the door; I walked in with him behind. It was impressive, I was about to tell Logan that, when a really pretty lady wearing a black and white dress and red heels came into my view,
"Honey I didn't expect you here, especially with a friend"
"Were not staying long, Tammara just wanted to see the place"
"What happened my dear?", I looked at her, wondering what she was talking about, when Logan said,
"She was in a car crash", then I remembered I was on crutches,
"My God, are you okay?"
"Mum she doesn't like to talk about it, were going upstairs"
"Oh, I'm sorry, okay, well, use the lift honey, it was nice meeting you Tammara", we left her standing there,
"She seems...very nice" I said,
"Yeah, she's awesome" he said, I noted the sarcasm.
We got to his room; I was led on hid bed, he led next to me and put his arm behind my head.
"We're cool aren't we Tam?", he said looking up at the ceiling,
"Of course we are Logan, of course we are"
