Aarav's POV
I was mad at Shiv.I thought he was happy for me.But he wasn't and it sucks
These thoughts were creating a storm inside my head
Our friendship.....
It was dark outside and I was about to reach our headquarters
As I passed a dark alley,I noticed suspicious movements out of the corner of my eye
Seems like someone hasn't accepted their defeat
I was surrounded by hooded guys .I didn't know their motive but I knew it wasn't any good
"Agent 1611... ... ",one of the guy said in a cold voice
"What do you want??",I asked glaring at them,although I wasn't gonna give anything they wanted
He didn't say anything but looked at the evidence I was holding
I quickly put it in my pocket as I gave him a challenging look
"Not that",I said sneering angrily
Soon enough a fight broke out.The guy punched right in my gut as I returned him a kick
It wasn't hard to fight with noobs like them.Another one tried attacking me with a metal rod but failed miserably as I gave him a tutorial on how a spy's gadget works
But surprisingly they seem to be familiar with it
I fought everyone,more like I finished them.But a single person stood across from me still wearing the hood
It was like he was staring at me waiting for the right moment to pounce on
Maybe he's the head.I'll give him an extra dose
I made small steps towards him as he remained where he was.The silence around me kept bothering me like it was yelling something is off
But it is stupid to put thoughts into that anyways
I composed myself taking my mind off these useless thoughts and decided to teach the person in front of me a valuable lesson
Tragic to think that I can't see the look of fear behind the hood
The smirk on my face grew wider as I flung my arm back to leave a mark on the face-hidden coward in front of me
But the figure didn't seem to be bothered at all.As a horrible laugh filled the room,the hood was volunteering removed by the person's own hands.
What I saw,shook me.I couldn't believe my own eyes

Veer's POV
I walked towards the place where Sara asked me to come.The place was beautiful and calm
But deep inside I was nervous about what Sara wants to talk about
As I walked a bit further,I saw Sara standing there.She was beautiful as always.She wore a white floral frock with her hair let open
I could fall in love with her over and over again
"Sara!!",I said engulfing her in a hug
"Veer",she said hugging me back and I could feel her smile
"So what's the thing you wanted to say?",I asked nervously
"That.. ..",she started hesitantly
"Sara you don't have to sweat it out.I won't ever judge you",I said trying to comfort her
"Veer... ...I don't know how you would take this.I mean when I first met you I was so rude to you.Still you managed to break all my walls just to make me happy.Over the time,I think I fell in love with you...",she said blushing
And I couldn't believe it.She loves me...
Sara loves me.I was on cloud nine
"So I think you have the right to know everything about me.Like my past...and why I'm just Sara..",She added nervously.
"Does it really matter Sara?",I asked looking at her concerned
I don't want her to hurt herself just to open up to me
"Yeah.... I'm ready Veer",she said caressing my cheeks
I nodded giving her the sign to proceed
"The truth is my father is a rich and powerful person.Everyone loves and adores me for that.But you... didn't care about any of those things.You loved me for who I am...",she said smiling as I could sense the love and adoration in her eyes
And the best part was that it was for me
I smiled looking at her smile
"So...You deserve to know....that I'm Sara Varma",she said and the last words hit me like a train
My smile slowly began to fade and was replaced by a frown
What??Varma???This couldn't be true, right??
"Veer .....",she called me out
"Varma?As in Rahul Varma?",I asked in disbelief, hoping she would say no
"Yes Veer,Rahul Varma is my father.....",the words escaped her mouth and my world shattered into pieces
"Veer!!!!You alright?",she asked in a sad tone as she noticed my expression
I was hoping she was just kidding,but her face told me it wasn't
"I'm sorry Sara,I can't do this anymore",I said trying to sound cold
But I was breaking inside.I couldn't tell her the truth now
"What!??Veer!!What do you mean?Just tell me what's wrong?",she asked smiling as tears clouded her eyes
"Go home Sara",I said gently stroking her cheeks
I turned back and started walking away
"Veer!!!!You can't just leave me like this after all we've been through",she cried as she screamed
But I just couldn't handle this
I walked away till my legs gave away
I sat on the side of the road, crying my heart out
"Ahhhhh....",I let out a loud cry holding my head in my hands
My dreams were shattered.I hurt the one I loved

Shiv's POV
Me and Ishita were talking and laughing about something when a distressed Veer walked in
He looked like he was heart broken
"Veer.. ...How did the meeting with Sara go?",I asked hesitantly
"Awful bro!!!!",he cried as he kicked a chair at his foot
"What happened?",Ishita asked concerned
"She was .. Varma's daughter.I can't believe this!!!Now everything is ruined.It all seems like a lie to me",he said taking a deep breath trying not to break down
"What!???",that was all I was able to say
Sara is Varma's daughter???Why would she lie all this time?

Lie?
"Rahul Varma's daughter is one of my close friend.So she invited me here "
"Yeah, I've heard a lot about you from Veer"
"Omg I'm a secret agent too"
"Did someone set it fire on purpose to destroy the newspaper?"
"That was a smart move to jam the door"
"What do you mean?I didn't do anything"
"Maybe she lied about her job"
"Who knows? It's........."
"............we are talking about"
Suddenly everything started to make sense for the worst
"Veer!!!!Did Sara knew Diya before the birthday party?",I asked tensed
"No,I don't think so.They just met at the party for the first time",he replied confused as to how this was related to what he was speaking
I hurriedly went through the data about Varma.It didn't state his daughter's name but it clearly stated that Varma had a single daughter.
This made me confirm my suspicions
"What's wrong Shiv?",Ishita aksed placing a hand on my shoulder
"Aarav is in serious trouble",I said taking a deep breath as I looked at them in horror

Aarav's POV
As the hood fell off,I saw the person who I never wanted to be the one
My mind was filled with confusion trying to process what's happening?
Why is she here?That too along with these hooded guys
The answer was echoing loudly somewhere in the back of my mind.
But I didn't wanna believe that.I just can't
"Diya....?",her name escaped my mouth in confusion
"Yes Aarav, It's me.So surprising right?",she laughed hysterically
I couldn't bring myself to hit her.My hands moved back on their own
"What's all this about?",I asked hoping this was a stupid game
"Oh are you still dumb,Agent 1611?",she asked with a sarcastic smile.Her calling me by my code name felt so weird
"Let me tell you something, I'm here to take away the evidence from you",she said fiddling with a gun in her hand
"You.. ..",I was lost for words as tears filled my eyes while anger filled my voice
Is this real?She couldn't be....
"Oh you still confused about the lovey dovey game we played?—It was just an act to get closer to you."
"So I could keep an eye on my target without any effort"she said grinning as her eyes were void of the emotions I've seen before
"And you being a fool believed every bit of it.You really don't think that I'm the damsel in distress type,do you?",her laughed echoed all around me
It felt like a bad dream.I held my head down in shame
I fell for the one who back stabbed me
I'm in love with a betrayer
Besides I let my friends down because of my stupidity called 'love'
"Didn't you love me at all?",I asked in hurt and anger
"C'mon don't be that desperate,huh?I think it's better if you don't know the answer,Agent 1611.You should have just listened to your best friend",she said pouting
I screamed internally at her statement
I fought with the one who really cared for me for this back stabber
Her expression slowly turned into a cold one.And before I knew it she swung the metal rod that she held, knocking me down
She didn't think twice before hurting me.It was like something so simple to her
"Take the evidence",she ordered the men around and they held my hands behind my back
"Noo.....",I protested but that was all I could do
The man took away the evidence from my pocket as I just watched it helplessly
She came closer to me as she held out the necklace I brought for her
So many awful memories which felt sweet just few moments before,came flashing before my eyes
"Forever....",she said grinning evily. I felt every bit of me burn in shame and guilt
But those emotions were interrupted by a sudden sharp pain in my torso.I slowly looked down to see her holding a knife which went through me
I shifted my gaze back to her face as my teary eyes met her void ones
"Game over Aarav!!",she said as she twisted the knife and I collapsed to the ground as silent tears flew down my bloodshot eyes
"Tie him up and take him there",she said as she pointed an abandoned building
"The bomb is set mam.... It'll be over in 10 mins....",I heard voices as my vision blurred

Sameer's POV
I climbed up the balcony like I usually do.I was so excited to see her and finally tell her my feelings
Enough of all the games we played.I couldn't wait anymore to tell her how much I love her
I went into her room as she was busy in her laptop
"Hey Shrez...",I called out as I wrapped my arms around her waist, placing my head on her shoulders
She was startled by my presence as she nearly jumped.She placed her hands on top of mine as she slowly removed them, turning to face me
She looked cute and innocent like always but there was a bit of sadness in her face which I can't help but notice
"Sameer....",she trailed off hesitantly
There was something off about her behaviour
Did her dad trouble her again??
"Shreya,You okay?",I asked concerned as I brought my hands to touch her face.But she quickly moved away
"Yes...I ..... I'll just get you something to drink",she said as she walked out of the room before I could stop her
She came back after a while
"Here...",,she said as she handed me a glass of cool drink
"Thanks",I smiled as I drank a sip of it
"I need to tell you something",I said enthusiastically
But she kept looking at the ground like she was nervous or something
The silence was killing me
I tried to lift my hand to reach her's, to get her attention
But I couldn't as my whole body began to feel numb while my hands were trembling
Suddenly my vision started getting dizzy which only got worse as each second passed by
Something is wrong here
What is happening?
"I....I think I'm... I'm.",I stammered as I looked at her,needing help
She had a expression which I couldn't read.But she wasn't surprised to say atleast
As she stood as far as she could stand away from me,it finally hit me.
I quickly shifted my gaze on the glass I was holding
The drink!!!
My eyes widened in shock as my hand quickly gave away,dropping it to the floor and it shattered into million pieces
I looked back at her with questioning eyes
"I'm sorry,I had to do it",Shreya cried as she began backing away from me, still looking me in the eye
"Shreya....??",I looked at her in disbelief trying to stay awake, barely maintaining my balance
But then,I felt something hard hit my head as I lost my already decaying consciousness as crumbled to the floor
The last thing I heard was Shreya crying as she screamed my name before it all went black

I think this is the most quick update, I've ever done before.But I should, because this is the most important and interesting chapter
Hope y'all loved the twist of events and the truth behind the characters
And I really hope,I have done a satisfying job at doing justice to conveying the emotions in this chapter in the right way
