Still, he knows she is determined to die on the fourth of July - that it has been predicted in quite a reliable book of prophecies - and that, for the sake of his sanity, he has to prevent it. That means pitting himself against living gargoyles, Oxford dons, man-hating sorceresses and - not least - Ellini's own despair.

Another new cover for the wonderful Lucy Stone. The second book in her epic fantasy romance series, "The Power Trail," The best part of this cover is by far the background picture, and it was also the hardest to do. I couldn't get any ideas or inspirations, but the author really came to me with plenty of help. The claws on it were an unintentional addition that fit into the story (sometimes magic happens). Anyway, please check out the book; it's fantastic :).
