McKennas POV
All I've been doing since Tuesday was think long and hard about the contract Neale has given me. I have a month to think if I wanted to do this. Which I definitely do but do I want to have to deal with my dad? Not so much.
It's now Friday which meant tonight we were on! I haven't even thought about going to parties since we arrived here a couple of months ago. All I was craving was a good dance and drinks. I was currently in the room with both dash and Vincent as we were all going to the clubs together. We were all ready but we were still waiting on Leo. The rest we were gonna meet at the clubs. I wore a white Lacey corset bandeau dress with white heels. My hair in a high straight ponytail and ofcourse my usual makeup. Oh how I missed my makeup
"Where the devil could this Romeo be" dash said mocking one of Harold's line in the film
"It's only 7 we don't have to leave for another couple of hours" I say as I flicked through the stations to find something we could actually understand.
After an hour, Sure enough Leo walked through the interconnecting doors. He wore a white polo shirt with his typical jeans that sported a chain by the hip. His hair effortlessly pulled back while his bangs draped on the sides of his head. All I could do was stare. Why does he have to be so god damn hot.
"Oooo" Dash cooed quietly while nudging my sides,
"Shut up dash" I say as he got up to jump on Leo. Vincent doing the same. I playfully rolled my eyes. Why do I always find myself getting along with the boys more, they're so annoying. I sat on the couch just watching the boys being....well boys. I heard someone clear their throat. Realising that Leo was right in front of me. The boys no where to be seen. He held out his hand to pull me off the couch. My typical heels making me taller than usual, so I was now almost the same height as his face
"Hey" Leo softly said
"Hi" I said as I stared at his eyes. I started to scan his face more to see I bruise on his cheekbone covered by concealer. I brought my hand up and lightly grazed over the area
"Ow" he said swatting my hand away
"What the hell happened Leo?"
"Can you see it?"
"Mmm a little bit, but I can tell there's concealer on there"
"Fuck....stupid fucking Jesse"
"Huh? Did Jesse do this?"
"Well yeah" he said now pacing around the room "I had a scene with him today, he shoved me so hard that my ass flew to the ground"
"So you guys got into a fight?"
"Yep" he said as he popped the p
"I don't know why he does it, he always ends up with all the damage" I playfully roll my eyes
"Where'd Dash and Vincent go?" I quickly changed subject, as I looked around the room. Also because it was oddly quiet
"Oh they said they'd meet us downstairs"
"Come on then, they'll be wondering where we are"
We went downstairs and saw the boys waiting by the main entrance. Dash opened the door
"Hurry up love birds!" He yelled across the echoey reception. Making everyone stop and stare. How embarrassing.
"Hey lover birds how was your hot make out session" Vincent teased. by this point Leo was storming off in their direction. Me just trudging behind covering my face. It felt like I was doing the walk of shame. Once I got outside the boys were all playing around jumping on top of each other.
"Uuuugh you guys just never stop do you" I roll my eyes and started to walk off
"Hey Kenna!" I hear Leo call. I hope they get the memo to follow me. I'm not going to just stand there.
We all finally arrived to the club. Seeing the line stretch as far back as my eyes could see
"Damn we should've gotten here earlier" I said in suprise
"The lines huge, do we really have to wait?" Vincent say
"Don't worry I have an idea" Dash said as he started to walk forward and towards the entrance. Leo started to follow then Vincent. What are they doing?
"Kenna" Leo turned and gestures for me to follow. When I reached the group I see Dash pestering the bouncer
"Man we're here doing movie, if you could just let us through" I hear him say. Huh he's really pulling the "I'm in a movie" card
"No to the back of the line"
"Seriously man if you could just let us through I swear you could get an invite to our movie premiere" the bouncer looked at me, dash and Vincent. All of us giving him a bright smile
"I don't even know who you guys are, back of the line" he said pointing to the line. Vincent gave me a slight nudge and leaned down to whisper in my ears
"Work you're charm girl" I nodded and stepped forward and started to flirt with him a little
"Your muscles are so big" I say flirtatiously.
"You think so? I work out everyday"
"It shows. So manly" I cooed he started flexing his muscles some more. I was starting to lift my hands to feel his arm but was stopped by a hand reaching forward and to Leo standing next to me
"Kenna dont" I looked at him.
"I'm trying to get us in" I mumbled
"I don't like it" he said through his clenched jaw. I just froze to the statement. Is he jealous?
"Wait are you Leonardo DiCaprio" the bouncer say pointing at Leo. Ofcourse he knows who he is. Dash was so quick to move me out of the way and swing his arm around Leo.
"Yes this is Leonardo DiCaprio" he said cheekily. Both me and Vincent giving each other knowing looks, oh we were totally in
"I love your work man, both me and my wife watch your movies. Please can you sign this, my wife is going to be so happy" wife? All that flirting for nothing. I rolled my eyes. Thankgod Leo was here.
Leo signed the notebook and gave it back to the bouncer
"Is it ok if we go in now? I've had a long day on set I'm just eager to get a drink"
"Ofcourse man, anything for our movie star" we all rolled our eyes. We walked in. The music blasting so loud that the bass vibrated the whole building. It was so dark but the lights bounced off all of the walls. What a vibe. As we were walking I was getting cat calls from left right and centre. Some even grabbing my arms to get me to dance with them. Leo though, had his arm around me at all times. I really appreciated his protectiveness
It's been a few hours, the others has arrived. We were having fun and getting wasted as hell. I was sitting next to Paul at the moment while Leo and the others were out on the dance floor. I noticed a couple of times Leo glancing my direction and giving me a smirk.
"So what's new for you Kenna"
"Oh nothing really....oh wait I met up with des'ree"
"So you did it? You sang for her"
"Yeh her and Neale" I yelled over the loud music. He nodded "Neale's a talent scout"
"No way and? How'd it go"
"Really well he offered me a contract with they're agency, they think I have a lot of potential" Paul hugged me and shook me while he screamed. He was such a mood. I think I like drunk Paul
"And Leo?"
"What about Leo?" I asked while I scrunched my face. I looked at Leo's direction and he had a girl hitting on him
"You guys together yet?" I took a sip of my drink
"No but we're best friends again" I forced a laugh. Clearly the girl hitting on him getting the best of me. Paul leaned forward
"Leo loves you Kenna" he bopped me on the nose with his finger
"Noooooo" I shook my head and took another sip
"Leo could never love me" I heard the music change. Say it right by Nelly furtado filling the scene. I loved this song
"Hey wanna dance?" I heard someone lean over my shoulder and whisper. I looked at Paul with a huge smirk placed on his face. I turned to see Leo with a soft gaze washed over his face. And I froze. He grabbed my hands to pull me up.
"Noooo Leo I can't dance with another person I end up hurting them" I pouted. I sat back down only for Paul to push me back up
"You'll thank me later" he whispered in the process. I looked at him while he just smirked and popped his straw into his mouth. He found this so amusing
"Leo I don't think-"
"It's fine just follow my lead" he winked causing me to be entranced by him. The music sounded so much louder on the floor. I kinda froze.
"It's ok, loosen up" he smiled. I started dancing. Thankfully I was on the cheer squad through high school so I wasn't that bad of a dancer. Leo picked my chin up. It was so dark in here but his eyes still manage to shine through. I was so lost in them. He held my hand causing me to twirl around, he danced behind me and we swayed still entangled in his arms. Nothing suggestive.
"You know you look beautiful tonight" he whispered into my ear "I mean you're so beautiful all the time" he twirled me back around so I was now facing him. Still swaying from side to side. It was as if we were the only people in the room.
"I don't look hot? Or sexy? Because that's all I've been getting all night from these weird men" I said scrunching my face in disgust
"No you are, but I see so much more than that...you're beautiful to me" he said as I ducked my head down shyly. He really had my heart beating so hard I swear I could feel it in my brain. The song didn't really resonate with how I felt right now but there was something about it that really made me think about Leo and I more.
"You know Leo, don't you find it weird how we were best friends, then we hated each other now we're best friends again. I mean I've lost a lot of friends but you seem to always be there" I blurted out. He didn't say anything but looked at me very fondly. My butterflies swarming my body.
"I just-"
"I really like you Kenna" as best friends right? He definitely meant as friends
"I like you too Leo" I sighed but we still held our eye contact
"No I meant I have feelings for you kenna..." his eyes started to dilate. They turned as blue as I've ever seen them. Everything around me became a blur
"You're lying right this is all a dream? Or is this some show where you're gonna yell out you've been punked and cameras are gonna come out of no where" the butterflies started to get so overwhelming that it caused me to ramble. Leo stopped dancing causing me to stop. His face literally so close I could feel his breath on my lips. His eyes never peeled away from mine
"I'm not like that Kenna, I've been thinking of ways to tell you, I guess tonight's the night" he said softly. Somehow I managed to hear it over the music
"All those times, you fought with Jesse, you got me to sing for des'ree, the jealously. And that time you kissed Ava thinking it was me was Because you had feelings for me?" He smirked and leant forward to peck me on the lips. He pulled his head back
"I um" I couldn't process my words. I've waited so long for him to say that. I crashed my lips into his. I couldn't help but smile onto the kiss. My butterflies disappeared and I felt like I was at home. Our lips locked but it was very passionate. Not like Romeo and Juliet but it just made me warm and fuzzy inside. We pulled back when the song finally ended
"Woah" I let out Leo just stood there in awe
"I like you too Leo, I just didn't know if you felt the same you know of how you treated me in the past and all" he put his finger in front of my lip to make me shut up
"I've been waiting for you to say that, I've changed ok the past is irrelevant to us now"
"Ok" is all I managed to let out. I wasn't sure if it was the alcohol getting to our heads but I think we just confessed our feelings
