King was there playing with the kids.
Luz: What if he gets hurt? What if the kids are mean to him? My parental in sticks are freaking out, man.
Y/n: Luz, Chill out. He'll be okay. He's king after all.
Luz: What if he isn't okay? I could tell that the other kids are gonna be mean to him.
Eda: He's fine. Look at him.
King was trying to get up a slide.
Luz: It does look like he's having fun.
Vilador: After all he's a child and he's just... sometimes annoying.
Luz: I wonder what cute little game he's playing.
Chot-San then barked at Luz in jealously.
Luz: Of course I didn't forget you, my little pumpkin pie.
King was able to climb up the slide.
King: Stand back, cretins.
He was able to make it to the top.
King: Yes. Yes. This a throne worth of a tyrant. Bow to me, you snotty underlings.
Children: Okay.
They began bowing in strange position
King: Yes. Appease your master.
There was a literal Snotty kid behind him.
Snotty Kid: This isn't for standing, it's for sliding. You try.
The kid then pushed him down the slide. He then came running towards the others.
King: Eda, that monster took my throne.
Vilador: Wah, wah, a little baby is mean to me, he pushed my down the slide. King, how about you get some where to get your baby issue sorted out.
King: You stay out of this!
Eda: King, are you talking about the baby?
King: No, the usurper. I want to go over there and blow him up. Kaboom.
Snotty kid: Kaboom.
Chot-San then began barking which then resembles a laugh.
Eda: Yeah? I'm not using Owlbert to blow up a five-year-old. He's got better things to do. Like this...
She then began rubbing Owlbert which made him purr
Luz: Aw, what a sweetie. How did you get him.
Y/n: Luz, your cuteness of animals is started to get contagious.
Eda: Get? I made Owlbert from the branch of an ancient tree.
Vilador: Yeah, same goes to my little buddy. I made from stone and anything else hard. And now that's how he became the strongest and boldest Palisman here.
His palisman then began roaring.
Luz: Whoa!
Vilador: Settle down, kid, he just want to give you a hug.
Luz: I don't think he wants to give hugs.
Y/n: He seems more like he wants to strangle us.
Luz: Yeah, that seems like the right word for itX
Eda: Owlbert here is my Palisman and we're bonded for life. If annihilate anyone who's hurt him.
Vilador: And my buddy here would annihilate anyone who hurt me. Do you better watch out.
King: Fine. Don't help. Revenge will taste all the sweeter if they fall by my hand alone.(Evil laugh)
The snotty kid walked up to King and then pushed him down.
Snotty Kid: Tag. You're it.(laughing)
Eda: Oh, man. Here we go. king's squeak of rage.
Vilador: Yeah, it's always so fun to watch. Here it comes.
King then got up and then began squealing like a baby.
Vilador: Aww, does the wittle baby need a diaper change?
King: Shut up!
He then ran off and continued Squealing.
Eda:(laughing) He's like a little teakettle.
Vilador: Yeah, a teakettle that will probably make your ears bleed.
Y/n: Trust me, regular teakettle did made my ears bleed.
Vilador: Oh, sorry to hear that.
Luz then noticed a little hole in Owlbert's feet.
Luz: Hey, what's that?
Y/n: It looks interesting.
Eda: That's his interlock. So he only fits under my staff. Every Palisman has one.
Vilador: Yeah, we get better together and then we annihilate everyone when we feel like it.
Eda: If you say so.
Eda then seem to be having some sort of dream and everyone all around her were gone. Luz then and Y/n then called to wake her up.
Luz: Eda, Eda, wake up.
Luz: Are you all right?
Y/n: Yeah, it seems that you passed out or something.
Eda: What? Oh, no. The curse. We have to get home. Now.
Vilador: Yeah, because it seem that the curse is getting worse by the minute.
Luz: King, we have to go.
King: Fine more minutes, please.
Y/n: king!
King: Ah, man.(To Snotty Kid) This isn't over.
Snotty kid: Okay. Let's play again real soon.
He then began hugging King.
King: No, no. Keep those sticky hands away. No. He's touching me. Aah!
Eda was able to get home with and a tossed her staff down.
Luz: Me and Y/n will go and get your elixir.
Eda: Don't worry about it. I'll go get it myself in a bit.
Y/n: Eda, you do not look well.
Luz: Yeah, do you need us to stay home and take care of you?(gasps) I could put King in a little doctor's outfit.
King who was drawing heard that.
Eda: No one wants to see that.
Y/n: Yeah, Luz, you being fond of cuteness is getting annoying.

Vilador: She's not wrong. She's a really tough one.

Luz: Actually, Willow, Gus, T/n and I are going to the grudgby game between Hexusde and Glandus High.
Y/n: Oh, yeah, that's right.
Eda: Since when are you into sports?
Luz: Since I found a little something called "Hexisde pride." Argh, to think that Glandus, whoever they are, would dare face us. But if you need us to stay...
Eda: Gross. Sympathy. Go. Go have fun at sport.
Y/n: Okay, thanks.
Luz: Hooray. Hooray for sport. Hugs and kisses, King.
Y/n: Luz, stop it.
Luz: Don't spend all night plotting revenge.

Next scene.
Luz: Hexside is gonna wreck your side.
Y/n: Luz, that is is just plain awful.
Luz: Yeah, you're right. I got something better. Hexside is the best side on the west side.
Y/n: Now that sounds a lot better.
Luz: Yeah, I know.
Luz was then a bit frightened when there was a boat with the face if a beast and wings. It then snaps at them. Y/n then slapped its face.
Y:n: No, bad!
Chot-San then barked at it. They were able to make their way right over to Gus and Willow and they had some sort of celebration.
Luz: Happy game day, fellow... Are Hexidians, Hexies? Hexoleos?
Y/n: Luz, could you quit it with names.
Luz: Well, we gotta come up with something.
Willow: Well, most people call us winners.
Gus: Grudgby games are the beast. The players go through these action-packed trials. And the audience gets to wave flags. Look, I practiced.
Gus then began waving his flags.
Luz: Is it weird that me and Y/n aren't wearing anything Hexside?
Y/n: Uh, no, it's just for us to stand out from others. Those things are not cool enough for us.
Willow: Luz, it's actually weird that you're wearing Glandus.
They looked at poster to see that she was in fact wearing Glandus colors.
A giant then came by and poked Luz on the head.
Luz: Get ready to be creamed, Glandus nerd.
Luz: Hey. I'm a Hexside nerd. Gotta change out of this shirt. Where can I get a Hexside one?
Y/n: You beat up a student and then steal his shirt. Easy.
Luz: Well, I'm looking for a more positive action.
Gus: I know. There's a lost-and-found box in the cafeteria.
Luz: Ah, the lost-and-found. Where mouthguards go to retire.
Y/n: Luz, I'm gonna pour coffee on you and it will burn if you don't knock it off.
Luz: Sorry.
Luz then began checking in box for what she could find. She then came out with a Hexside cheerleader outfit.
Luz: Go, Hexside. Well, I never did that before. Where is everyone?
She sees that everyone has left.
Student: Hexside rules!
Luz: Oh, no. Come back. Why didn't you guys board the bus?
Willow: We weren't king to leave you behind.
Gus: I was.
Willow: Gus.
Luz: Can we walk to Glandus?
Y/n: Yeah, it would be best for us to stretch our legs. We need the exercise.
Gus: We'd never make it in time. Glandus is all the way out in the middle of the island.
Y/n: Well, that sucks.
Luz: Typical Glandus.
Willow: And my parents are working, otherwise I'd see if they could give us a ride on their staff.
Y/n: Yeah, that could help. If only we know someone who is willing to give us a staff.
Luz: Because they can fly. Of course. I can get us a staff.
Gus: You can?
Luz: Yes. Come on.
She then went off with everyone.
Next scene.
Y/n: Luz, please don't tell me that you're gonna use Owlbert.
Luz: We have to. It's the only way we could make it to Glandus.
Y/n: Couldn't we take Vilador's it's like he's using it.
Luz: You mean the one that probably wants to strangle us. Nope. We're not taking chances.
Y/n: Good point.
They then went home.
Luz: King, are you home?
King then came out.
Luz: Is Eda up?
King: Who? oh!(Chuckles nervously) That Eda. No, no, she is out like a light.
Y/n: Are you sure?
King: Yes, I'm sure.
Y/n then gave him a suspicious look and there was roaring.
King: Oh, man. Can she snore.
Y/n: That's roughest snore I've ever heard.
King: Yep, she's quite the snorer.
Luz: Oh, no, I wanted to ask if I could borrow her staff, but I know she needs her rest.
Y/n: Oh, I thought we were just gonna take it without permission or her knowledge.
King: Oh, I'm sure it's fine. It's fine. Just take it.
Y/n: What? No!
Luz: Yeah, we can't. Not without Eda's permission.
Eda's scream could be heard.
King: Well, there's your permission. Off you go.
Y/n: That doesn't sound like a permission. That sounded like a scream.
Luz: We really owe Gus and Willow one. And it's just for the afternoon. I'm sure Eda wouldn't mind.
King: Not out generous, kindhearted Eda. Big heart on her.
Y/n: We still took it without her knowledge.
King: Whatever.
Luz: We'll be back soon.
King: Close call.
Luz: What?
Y/n: Are you plotting something that we should know about?
King: No, no, that was nothing.
Luz: Oh, what?
Y/n and Luz then leaves.
Next scene.
Luz: To Glandus High.
Owlbert then wakes up.
Luz: Oh, sorry, Owlbert. It's okay. We're just on our way to help some friends.
Y/n: I'm not so sure about this.
Luz: Come on, Y/n, it's just gonna be for the afternoon. What the worst that could happen.
Gus and Willow took a look at Owlbert
Luz: Who's ready to board Air Luz?
Y/n: Ugh.
Everyone got on the staff.
Willow: Feel that power-to-weight ratio.
Gus: Boys, prepare to fly.
Luz: Next stop, Glandus high. Let's go. Step on it, Owlbert.
Owlbert then began flying with speed and then it didn't go all so well and then it crashed and fell to the ground. As he fell, Owlbert's head had a crack on it.
Luz: Is everyone, okay?
Y/n: I'm fine. Just cracked my bottom a little.
Luz then looked at Owlbert who was hurt before flying away.
Luz: Oh, no,no,no, no. Owlbert, come back.
Y/n: We have to go after him.
They all began chasing after Owlbert calling for him in a strange forest. They then lost lost sight of him.
Gus: Man, humans can run. Must be their dorsal fins.
Y/n: We don't have that.
Luz: Owlbert ent through those trees. Come on.
Willow then grabbed her arm.
Willow: We have to be careful. It's really easy to to get lost in this part of the forest.
Y/n: Yes, so we have to be careful out here.
Luz: This is Eda's Palisman, Willow. She'll kill me if we don't get it back. Let's go.
Everyone began following behind Luz. Where they went, it was really dark in there.
Willow: Wow! I keep stepping on a lot crunch twigs.
Y/n: Willow, those are bones.
Luz: Yeah.
Willow: Not if I never look down.
Something swift came right past them.
Y/n: Well, this is very creepy.
Luz: Yeah, you said it. This isn't any kind of forest I'm used to.
Willow: That's because this isn't a forest.
There were some baby bats that came in front of them.
Willow: It's a nest.
Y/n: Wait, I know those things.
Luz: Those are the Bat Queen's babies.
They began screeching.
Gus: Wait. The bat Queen? I think I'd rather take my chances with Eda.
Luz then began talking to The babies.
Luz: We're looking for a little Owl and... There he is.
Owlbert then began stumbling back.
Y/n: There's no need to be afraid. It's just us.
Luz: Come here, buddy. Time to go home.
The Bat queen then landed in front of them.
Bat queen: Hello, small humans.
Y/n: It's the...
Luz: The bat queen.
Y/n: Yeah, we babysat her kids once.
Luz: Don't worry. I got this.Hiya, BQ. My, your hair is looking greasy. And your kids, they're as hideous as ever.
Y/n: Ih, what's that suppose to do?
Luz: I don't know.
Gus: You know, that could have gone worse.
The bat queen then growl.
Y/n: And it probably will.
Luz: Heh. So, Owlbert ran away and I need to get him back. I'm just gonna grab him and we'll be in our way.
The Bat queen then stops her.
Bat Queen: To be careless with a staff, it's very serious. I protect him.
Y/n: Yeah, great, thanks but seriously, you have to give me back.
Luz: Because Eda the Owl lady is gonna kill us and do you owe her a favor, remember?
Bat Queen: Owl lady is careless. Her staff left her sight. Taken by human who steals, hurts, frightens.
Y/n: Wait, what?
Luz: What are you talking about?
Bat queen: He told me all.
Y/n: Owlbert, it was an accident.
Luz: We never meant to hurt you. Please trust me.
Bat queen: Trust must be earned... through trials!
Gus: Trials(waves flag happily)
Willow: Luz, Y/n, the Bat Queen is well-known fit her impossible trials. I've never heard of anyone winning against her.
Y:n: But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
Luz: We have to get Owlbert back. I accept your challenge.
Willow: And we'll be right there with you.
Gus: Let the flags raise you up.
Gus and Willow were then held.
Bat Queen: No helpsies. Now, let the trials begin. Milk the spider demon.
A spider with cow udder came.
Y/n: This ain't so bad.
Luz: Yeah, this should be really easy.
Y/n: And for some reason, I feel something is gonna go wrong. Well, here goes.
They grabbed the buckets and went over to the spider. The spider then began running.
Luz: If you run, you'll just make this harder for yourself.
Next challenge.
Bat queen: Remove bees nest.
Luz climbed all the way up to the nest which turned out to be a giant bees.
Y/n: That's no bees nest! That's a whole bee!
As the bee changed them, Y/n grabbed a cave club and hit the bee.
Y/n: Well, bees nest removed.
Luz: Thanks, Y/n.
Next Challenge.
Bat queen: Give babies a bath.
Luz and Y/n then began bathing the bat babies. They were just done.
Luz: Aww.
Y/n: Okay, is there something that I'd about happen here?
The babies then flashed them off and began screeching.
Y/n: Yep. There it is.
Next scene.
Gus was able to free himself againZ
Gus: Yes. I am free again.
He was then trapped again.
Y/n: Gus, maybe next time, try not yelling you're free.
Luz: Okay, Bat queen. That's the last one. We've done all your chores and we've proved our dedication to Owlbert. I'm so sorry for the pain I caused you, Owlbert. I promise to be more careful Luz. Will you come back home with me?
Owlbert then came back down only to be trapped by the bat queen.
Y/n: What? Owlbert willingly came back to us!
Luz: exactly! You can't do that!
Bat queen: No. more trials. Last trial. You must face me.
Luz: What?
Y/n: No way, how? That would be near impossible!
Luz and Y/n evaded her attack.
Bat queen: You'll never get him back!
Willow: Guys, get us out. We can help.
They then freed them as told.
Willow: Look out.
The bat babies then came to attack.
Y/n: They're cute. But they could be deadly.
Luz: I say they're deadly adorable.
Y/n: Luz, knock it off.
Luz: Right.
Gus: I hold them off with my flags.
Y/n: I don't think that's a good plan.
They bang attacking Gus.
Gus: You're right. That was a bad plan.
The bat queen then began chasing after Luz and Y/n.
Luz: We won't let you imprison Owlbert.
As they tripped, Luz and Y/n were caught one some spiky vines. As the Bat Queen pins then down, Luz and Y/n noticed something.
Luz: Y/n, look, an interlock.
Y/n: I see it...
The bat queen then backed away.
Luz: Bat queen, you used to be on a staff, didn't you?
Y/n: You were once a Palisman.
The Bat queen gasped.
Y/n: You were once a Palisman, weren't you?
The Bat queen looked on the interlock on her foot.
Bat queen: Yes, I was once part of a grand staff. A staff made for a giant. But I was broken, discardedZ
Y/n: I see...
Luz: That's why you're so protective of Owlbert.
Bat queen: I protect all.
Her eyes lid up as well as the other Palisman.
Bat queen: I made home in forest. I'm here to take the lost. The forgotten.
Luz: I understand. But Owlbert is not forgotten. He has someone at home who loves him very much.
Y/n: And we kinda took him without permission.
Bat queen: He will not go back with you.
Luz: That's not your decision to make.
Y/n: He comes with us or we're not leaving.
Bat queen: I won't let him.
As the Bat queen approached Owlbert fore infront of Y/n and Luz to protect them.
Bat queen: You.... You care for them.
Owlbert then went to Luz and Y/n and they comforted them.
Bat queen: Very well. Go. And take your friends.
Willow and Gus then came as Gus was covered I saliva from the Bat babies.
Gus: I don't think I will ever be clean again.
Owlbert then picked up the staff.
Luz: Bat queen, do you know what happens to your owner?
Bat Queen: It has been thousands of years. I have forgotten.
Luz: If you ever want to search for the truth, I'll help you.
Bat Queen: Thank you.
She then took off.
Willow: I can't believe you guys took on the Bat Queen.
Gus: And we're not dead.
Luz: Thank you for helping us get Owlbert back. I'm sorry we missed the game.
Y/n: I know you guys must be bummed out.
Gus: Are you kidding? That was better than any grudgby match. They were action-packed trials, I got to my flag wave and I'm slightly traumatized. Hooray.
Luz:(chuckles) Let's get this little guy home.
Next scene.
Luz then put a bandage on Owlbert's head.
Luz: And now you're a part of the Boo-Boo buddy club.
Y/n: Welcome to the club.
Eda: Owlbert, why are off the staff?
Opener then flew to Eda. He then hoots.
Eda: Luz and Y/n took you to get ice cream? Aww, that a horrible lie.
Vilador: Well, that could have gone worse.
Eda: Well, lucky for you three, I don't car right now. I'm going to take a nap.
King: I'll be at the playground.
Vilador: I'll be at... uh... thinking about what I'm gonna do next. Playing with my Palisman. That's what I will do next.
He then walked off. Owlbert then flew back to Luz and Y/n.
Luz: We'll keep this one to ourselves, shall we!
Owlbert then purrs.
Y/n: Yes, let's shall.
Eda then went to take her nap as said but she was coughing. She took up a bottle.
Eda: The elixir. It isn't working on the curse anymore. This is bad.
She then coughs and vomited out a swing.
Eda: When did I swallow a swing?
