Today hadn't been the best day for Ferrari or your boyfriend, Charles Leclerc who was driving said Ferrari. Some contact had forced him wide and the strategy used to recover was almost useless. P10 was the best they could do.
Of course, you were still incredibly proud of Charles, like you were every race, but you knew he wouldn't be. He had been more and more frustrated with himself and Ferrari's strategy this season and every mistake, no matter how big or small, fuelled a raging fire inside of him. Thinking he would come straight to you like he did every race, you had positioned yourself at the barrier, ready to receive whatever mood he was in but also knowing exactly how he would be. However, when he got out of the car, he made a direct line for the garages, not even looking at anyone, not even looking at you. He kept his helmet on so no one could see his face so you knew it was bad. You hopped the barrier and chased after him, calling his name but he didn't stop and you soon lost him with all the people around. You didn't know if he couldn't hear you or if he was ignoring you but it was too late now. You decided to give him a few minutes before you went to find him, give him the space you knew he needed.

After 20 minutes and no sign of your boyfriend, you started to get worried about him so you went to find him. He had been due for many interviews but hadn't gone to any of them and everyone kept asking you where he was. You went to his drivers room but no luck there. You went to his car but he wasn't there either and you saw that the bathroom was empty. You asked Andreas if he had seen which way Charles had gone and you eventually found yourself by the motor home. You went to open the door but it was locked. You knocked on the door, knowing then that he was in there. "Charles, it's me, open up." No response. "Charles please. You can't stay in there forever." You pleaded, you were sympathetic but also annoyed that he would just walk off on everyone like that, it was a childish move. You continued to knock until the lock clicked and you pushed open the door. "What do you want?" Charles asked harshly but his face remained unchanged. He looked emotionless.
"For you to talk to me with a little respect for starters." You said sternly as you entered the motor home. "You can't just walk off like that. I get your annoyed with yourself and the team but you have responsibilities and they don't just leave when you decide your race was less than ideal." You were more annoyed now, why was he being like this?
"Is that everything?" He looked bored as he looked at you. He folded his arms.
"Actually no," you started as he sighed. You ignored him and continued, "I am trying to help you, Charles. Everyone out there is trying to help you and you are just pushing it away. This is really childish and I know you know that. So when you have decided to act your age, come back to me but not a second before."
"Are you breaking up with me?" You looked like he was trying to remain emotionless but failing.
"No, I love you and nothing changes that but I don't want to speak to you when you're like this. So come back to the hotel when you are acting the 25 years that you are." You finished, before leaving the motor home and going to find his PR manager to tell her that he wasn't coming.

Also, sorry it's super short, I really wanted to write something but I didn't know how to write this to make it give the feeling the villain era ones (and TikTok edits 😍) Basically, I was just ✨struggling✨
I am also still in denial that it is the last race of the season this weekend and Seb, Daniel and Mick won't be returning next year 😭 I'm gonna need 3-5 working months to recover from this weekend, I already know 🙃
