"Thank you" navier said to a maid
She was now ready for the event
She walked out of the room and saw Layla
"Good afternoon your majesty"
Layla just waved and quickly walked away.
What was going on there?
As Navier got closer to the banquet hall, she was stopped
"My apologies but the event for tonight has been cancelled"
"No problem.."
She figured it had something to do with Layla's worried expression.
The day got even more weird when she found heinley crying in the park
"Why do down?" Asked Navier, sitting down next to him
"Heinley??" Navier asked confused
"She's pregnant.."
"Who!?" Navier asked
"Layla"
Navier gulped
"I-isn't this a good thing..?" Asked Navier, stuttering on her words
"It's not mine"
"Oh."
Heinley rested his head on navier's shoulder
"Hey.. it'll be alright.." navier said, trying to calm him down
"What are you even wearing... It's the middle of winter." Heinley asked
"I don't feel cold" navier answered "now let's head back"
"So there's an event tomorrow.."
Navier was reading her schedule while heinley rested on her bed
"PRINCESS PRINCESS!" Marie came darting towards navier
"What's wrong?"
"Huff huff! SHES GETTING WORSE!"
"Who--" navier gasped once she realized. Her eyes swelled up with tears
"We have to go now!"
"Okay okay!"
And thus, Navier had to leave.
She said her goodbyes and hopped on a carriage. She prayed by the time she got there, she would be able to speak to her sister..
(Quick note, if you don't know who 'she' is, it's navier's sister, or canonly Heinley's brother)
"I'm here!" Navier spoke, rushing towards the room where her sister stayed.
Her eyes still filled with tears.
"N-navier..." She spoke
Navier gripped her sister's hand
"I love you...please take care of Kristen with the best of your ability"
Those were here last words
"No!" Navier grasped her hand tighter..but still, she was dead.
(Btw Kristen is the male version of Christa)
The next day she was placed in the flower garden
"I'll miss you forever sister.." navier kissed the glass before leaving
1 week later ; navier's coronation
"The new queen is very pretty, but she looks cruel"
"Her sister just died.."
"Hopefully she's just as good as her sister"
Navier couldn't take what she was hearing but what could she do..as long as she had Marie by her side, as unfortunately, Ellie would be helping her get her future hubby.
She hoped it worked
Politics was never navier's thing, but unfortunately, she would have to deep drive into politics. Fortunately for Navier, she was surprisingly a workaholic. She sent letters to Ellie and Heinley, and soon she would catch up with Ellie to talk about progress.
"How's it going so far?"
"Good he's so gullible, and he seems to have taken interest in me, so he's even easier to deceive"
Navier just squealed at the good news. Marie was on her back to get a husband other than a married man.
"Layla is 3 months in" the doctor said
"Really!" Layla called
"Yes"
Layla and Vincent had met 6 months ago and had a hookup when they were drunk mistakenly. Luckily for Layla though, she had taken him in and now was carrying a child. With the speed of which they had gotten pregnant, Layla was sure Heinley was infertile.
But if Heinley was infertile..he can't bare Layla a heir..
(Wait if Layla is carrying a child.. isn't it already a heir???? Ig I can say it isn't a heir 🤷🏾♀️)
"We would need a divorce.." Layla thought about it.. Vincent isn't too stupid and can take on work, and he is also very beautiful.. but it could also be someone else's.. Layla wasn't very faithful after all.
"What are you thinking about?" Asked Vincent
"Ah! You scared me"
"I'm invited to an event?"
"Yes!" Marie said to navier
"Well, I suppose we can get going... I've already finished the work for this week.."
"Welcome back queen Navier" spoke Layla, holding her belly
"Thank you" answered back Navier, bowing
The event would be in a day and Navier took a walk
She was walking when she was pinned by someone
"Heinley!"
"Where have you been?" He asked
"Home.."
"What's this purple glow?" He asked
"Uh..it's nothing" she said
"Did you miss me?" She asked him
"No" he said, unpinning her.
Navier just rolled her eyes
"Obviously didn't.."
Navier did a spin on her dress while kissing the necklace heinley had given her.
"I'm so happy~!" She exclaimed, still spinning
"We should get going" said Marie
"Okay okay!"
