sophie's pov
i woke up the next morning to see i was in my bed and riven was no where to be found. i guess he left when i fell asleep. i looked at my clock and released i only had 30 minutes till i had to leave. i quickly got up to get changed wishing i had time for coffee but i knew i didn't.
i done some nice makeup and left my hair down and by the time i was ready i had to leave.
i opened the door and was met with riven.
'holy shit riven you scared me.' i said to him
'sorry but i thought you would want some coffee before you spoke to the first years.' he said
'well thank you riven.' i said
he handed me a cup of coffee
'so am i aloud to walk you to the circle.' he asked
'of course you are.' i say smiling at him
we began walking to the circle when we were close i could see all the first years sitting listening to miss dowling.
'i don't think i can do this. it was a mistake. let's just go.' i said to riven while i turned round
he grabbed my shoulders stoping me and making me look at him
'sophie you are the strongest girl i know. i'm just just saying that because your the most powerful fairy. i mean you bet skye in a fight when you weren't allowed to use magic and your the person who i need in my life so i believe you can go down there and show all of those first years what you have got.' he said to me
'thank you riven.' i said to him
'go down and teach and i will see you in a few hours and we can do something.' he said
'ok see you soon riven.' i say to him while walking off
rivens pov
god that girl is going to be the death of me. she is so pretty and kind and so powerful i would do anything to be with her and i want to tell her that but i'm scared she won't feel the same and i ruin our friendship for good.
sophie's pov
i got to the ring and all the first years turned to stare at me. making me more nervous than i already was.
'hi everyone my names sophie, i'm an second year fairy at this lovely school.' i say to them and one of them puts up their hand.
'yes.' i ask him
'what kind of fairy are you.' he asks
'well i'm a fairy of darkness.' i tell them
another puts their hand up to ask me a question that's i'm 99% i know what it is
'yes.' i say
'what is a fairy of darkness i have never heard of that before.' she says
'well that's because i am the only one of my kind.' i say to them
'are you supposed to be evil or something.' one of them asked
'well hundreds of years ago when fairy's of darkness were well known we were seen as evil and mean. people stayed clear of us and tried to stay away. i think we were know as evil because of our powers and wings and eyes but that is only my opinion.' i say
'well what do u look like with wings and your eyes.' one asked
'she can't show you dumbass fairies can't transform anymore.' one says
'well actually i can show you.' i say
i transformed for the first time in a long time.
'woah'
'oh my gosh.'
'wow.'
'how did she do that.'
'that's amazing.'
'she's stunning.'
'look at her wings.'
this made me laugh a bit.
'to answer your question i am the most powerful fairy to ever walk this earth so it might have something to do with me beginning able to transform.' i say to them
'well enough of me let's continue with the lesson and if you don't mind i am going to stay like this for the rest.' i say
'so can anyone tell me what the source of power is.' i asked them
' source of power is a thing that gives you your power.' someone says
'well your not wrong but that was not the answer i want.' i say.
no one else answered
'there is no right answer to that question everyone's source of power is different because it's about that one person that makes your heart sick a beat. that person is the source of your power the one that helps keep it alive.' i say
'ok answer this what is an anchor.' i asked and no one answers 'come on someone must understand.' i say to them but no one
'terra what about you.' i asked and she shakes her head
'well your anchor is the person that you think about when you lose control and when you lose control you think about them and you came down.' i say
'today this is all going to be about control but without a source and anchor you will never be able to uses your magic.' i say to them
'so how do we find it out.' one asks
'it's different for everyone but finding your anchor is much easier than finding your source for me it's the same person but believe me i will never tell them that because i won't ever her the end of it.' i say
'ok we can't do anything without a source and anchor so we will try again in 2 days and i expect you to have a understanding of both and hopefully find yours.' i say to them and they all agree.
'well off you go.' i say to them
'sophie.' i hear miss dowling say
'yes.'
'you did amazing out there and i expect to see you like this more these wings and eyes and this outfit should not be something you hide.' she says
'yes miss.'
'now go on and enjoy your day.'
i decided to go to the specialists field knowing riven and skye will be there. i decided to stay transformed.
i got to the field and as soon as riven saw me he stop his fight and ran over to me
'holy shit sophie.' he says
'do you like it.' i ask
'i love it.'
'i decided not to hide it anymore and show the real me off.' i say
'i'm proud of you sophie.' he says
'love the wings sophie.' silvia yells
'thank you.' i yell back
'Sophie i was wondering if you would like to go out tonight.' riven asks
'of course is skye coming,' i ask him
'no sophie i mean like a date.'
'wait really .'
'yeah it's ok if you don't want to.'
'are you joking i would love to. pick me up at 7.' i say as i walk off.
