It's been a month since that whole situation with Mar shooting that guy and I guess he was right, he ain't snitch. Mar was still telling me 'I told you so' all till now. We was still getting to know each other, and we were spending time with each other, every time we were free.
I liked our friendship we had, and he was actually funny as fuck. I don't wanna be in competition with no girls, cause girls think you being big mean you ugly, like no bitch.
I was chilling with Imani in the house after school, and Mar texted me. I'm outside open the door the text said and i got up and opened the door.
'Hey bro' I said and I went in to dap him up cause I know it riles him up.
'Fuck outta here man' he said budging past me and mugging me. 'Wassup sis' he said to Imani and they did their handshake. He looked back at me and mugged me.
'Imma be back, somebody calling me' Imani said and winked at me before leaving the front room. I mugged her back.
'How you been?' Mar asked me, lighting his blunt and I shrugged.
'Work be running me dry for real, and my manager annoying as fuck' I said to him as I toyed with my fingers.
'You want me to kill her?' He said seriously and I laughed at him.
'Boy bye. It's not that serious' I said and he shrugged, blowing smoke outta his mouth.
'Why you sitting so far? Come here' he said and I shook my head no. 'Girl, bring that ass on' he said and I rolled my eyes before getting up.
I walked over to him and sat beside him, and I guess that's not what he wanted because he picked me up to sit on his lap.
'You know your thighs hurting' I said and he laughed before shaking his head.
'Nah, they not. You not even heavy' he said and I rolled my eyes. ' Imma deal with attitude, keep going' he challenged me and I laughed.
'What you wanna watch?' I asked him, picking up the remote and he shrugged.
'I don't even wanna watch nothing, I just want your company' he said, rubbing on my back. I got up and straddled him, so I could face him.
'Tell me about your day' he said and he continued to rub on my back. With every rub, I felt even more and more relaxed, I had a long day.
'It was so long. School getting even more tiring and work is even worse. I can't quit though, I need this job' I said and he blew smoke outta his mouth.
'What do you need to keep it for?' He asked me and I shrugged.
'I mean I don't like relying on people, and I wanna help my mom out anyway I can, you know?' I said and he nodded.
'Nah I get that, that's the same with me. I got so many people relying on me to eat' he said and I nodded.
'Is that why you in that gang business?' I asked and he nodded slowly.
'Life isn't all roses and berries mama, it's hard out in these streets' he said and I played with the twists in his hair.
'Yeah' I said and I heard the door slam. I quickly got off Mar's lap and David walked into the room.
'Mar? What you doing here nigga?' David asked dapped him up and mugged me.
'We chilling bruh' Mar said and David mugged us both.
'Hm' he said and grabbed the remote, changing the channel.
'I got sum to sort out, imma call you later' Mar said before giving me a hug and dapping David up, then leaving outta the house.
'Why your whore ass tryna get with my friends?' David asked me and I mugged him.
'Nigga what? We is just friends, and even if we weren't, what does that have to do with your nosey ass?' I sassed him, sucking my teeth.
'Watch your mouth, talking to me like you crazy. Friends my ass' he said and I just walked outta the room. He sounded so stupid right now, and I was just gon leave him there with his stupid self.
'Come back, we not done' David called me and I turned around.
'No, cause I'm a whore right?' I said aggravated as fuck and he was making it worse.
'I'm sorry, I ain't mean it. Mar dangerous bruh, be careful' he warned me but I already knew, but I wasn't gon tell him that, so I rolled my eyes and slammed the door shut behind me.
'Your brother annoying as fuck' I said walking into Imani's room and she was laying in bed scrolling on tiktok.
'Yeah I heard what happened. Was y'all doing sum?' She asked me and I squinted my eyes at her.
'We is just friends Mani. We was just talking' I said to her and she nodded slowly, but it was obvious she ain't believe me.
'You don't think I see the way he looks at you? That ain't no friendly look. That's that i wanna eat your pussy look' she said and I bussed out laughing.
'Girl, your mouth foul. Im leaving you in here, nasty ass' I said getting up from her chair and walking towards the door.
'Love you Cece' she said and I blew her a kiss before shutting her door behind me.
I got a message from Mar and I opened it and it said Imma pick you up in 10 minutes. I just got my pyjamas on, so I was annoyed that I had to change outta them all over again.
20 minutes later
'10 minutes my ass' I said getting into Mar's car and putting my seatbelt on.
He grabbed me by my neck and tongued me down, and it was hot as fuck.
'I told you to stop playing wit me' he said before kissing me again and I moaned into the kiss.
His hand rubbed on my thigh, and I felt wet as fuck, but again, I'm not gon tell him that.
'Mmm Mar' I moaned as he passionately kissed me, before he pulled away.
'Oh you silent now' he said and I laughed. He pulled off and by the way we were going, we were going to his house.
I slept on the way there and I felt that familiar turn, so I knew we had gotten to his house.
'Wake up mama, we here' he tapped me on my thigh lightly but I was already lowkey awake.
We walked in and I put my purse down and walked into his front room to sit down.
'I'm sorry about my brother, ion know why he was acting like that. Making it seem like we was tonguing each other down infront of him' I said and Mar laughed and threw his head back.
'I ain't worried bout it mama. You funny tho' he said and I looked at him.
'What I say? It's the truth, we was just talking' I said and he just stared me down.
'You look fine as fuck with your hair like that' he said and I smiled back at him. My hair was up in a bun at the top of my head, cause I was meant to be going to bed when he texted me.
'Thank you Mar. You look good as fuck with low eyes' I said and he chuckled at me.
'Appreciate you ma, come here' he said and I walked up to him and sat next to him. I cuddled into him and he rubbed my arm.
'What's your actual name? Cause I know everyone calls you Mar' I asked him.
'Marcel, but my mama call me that when she mad' he said and I giggled.
'That's a cute name. Imma call you that' I said and I looked up and he was mugging me. I laughed and continued looking at the TV.
We were watching Baby Boy and it was one of my favourite movies. It turned out to be one of Marcel's favourite films too, so I guess that's something we have in common.
The scene between Jody and Yvette came on and Mar laughed. I looked up at him and mugged him.
'You keep on with all that attitude and I'm gon tear that ass out' he said and I smirked at him.
'Oh whatever' I said and we continued watching the movie.
