"But dad...I don't wanna marry him...."
"You have no choice Jimin... I already gave Jeon my word..."
Jimin is being arranged to be married to Jungkook. They both were collegemates and had really low opinions of each other. Jungkook thought Jimin was sassy and sarcastic while Jimin thought Jungkook was a playboy who didn't give a fck about other's feelings.

The truth was Jimin was over protective of his friends and if he found out that someone was bullying them, he would stand up for them and his attitude would always be sassy and sarcastic and that was the only side Jungkook saw in his college life. Jungkook thought Jimin was beautiful but with a cold heart. On the other hand, Jimin had heard many stories of Jungkook playing with people for sex and breaking their hearts but the truth was Jungkook was targeted for rejecting people's advances and the man was quite popular in college for being naturally hot and sexy. The thing was Jungkook had a relationship or two and they had both cheated on him and he stood up for himself and broke up with them, which looked like he was heartless in front of the general public and he never tried to prove them otherwise.

After the marriage, which they both didn't want, Jimin and Jungkook couldn't help but always bicker at home for the silliest of things - Jungkook would always be teasing Jimin about his height and his clumsiness while Jimin would call the man a muscled bunny, which the man hated.
They both slept in different rooms and one day grandma Jeon, who had come to visit them, noticed that they weren't a couple, let alone friends.
She pulled Jungkook aside and warned him that if their relationship continued like this, she would insist on a divorce as she was dying for a grandchild. It was then that Jungkook's heart dropped, the thought of never seeing Jimin and fighting with him over silly things, seeing that cute pouty face and that sassy attitude that Jimin had when he stood up for himself, Jungkook would definitely miss that and he didn't want to miss anything about the boy. Jungkook knew from mutual friends why Jimin was being arrogant towards him, he knew Jimin misunderstood him and during that time, Jungkook had come to know that what he had initially thought of Jimin wasn't true either, Jimin was a literal angel to anyone who needed his help, Jungkook included.
Jungkook knew of the many times Jimin had cared for him - whether it was ordering an extra mud pie for dinner on accident, putting on the iron man marathon series for the man when Jungkook had fallen sick one day, even when Jimin didn't like the movie, Jimin even went on to talk to his least favorite person who always annoyed him and ask the guy for help regarding a project Jungkook worked on. Whatever it may be, Jungkook knew Jimin had a heart of gold and he also knew Jimin didn't want Jungkook to know he cared.

Jungkook sat thinking about what his grandma had said and his thoughts were brought back to reality when he heard the front door opening and Jimin walking in after work.
I can't lose him - Jungkook thought as he saw Jimin walk past him after the boy nodded his head at the man as a sign of acknowledgement.
"Jimin ah...." Jungkook's soft voice makes Jimin stop in his tracks and slowly turn to face the man who was walking up to him "... would you join me for dinner.... outside?"
Jimin gulped, it was like he was mesmerized by Jungkook's whole aura. He didn't even realize he had nodded his head impulse, Jimin was brought back to reality when he felt Jungkook cup his face and softly peck his forehead as a thank you
Jimin watched Jungkook smiling and walking away, the boy held a hand over his chest - my heart, why are you beating so fast? Does he like me? nah! He is just trying to prank me

Jimin went for dinner with the man expecting to be teased or pranked the entire night but he was pleasantly surprised at how gentle and funny and slightly flirty his husband was being. And did Jimin enjoy it? It would be hard to say no.

The next morning Jungkook prepared breakfast for them and insisted Jimin eat with him. Jimin said nothing but obeyed and went along with what the man was doing, still skeptical of the sudden change. Two days later though, Jimin couldn't stop himself from asking
"Jungkook... what are you doing?" Jimin asks the man who is massaging his shoulders
"I know you have terrible neck and shoulder pain at times so I am just..."
"Why?"
Jungkook stops massaging "...what why?"
Jimin sighs as he turns to face the man "Why are you doing all this? Didn't we agree to hate each other? Didn't we agree that we would mind our own business? Then why are you doing all this like you are my....."
"My what" Jungkook asks softly
".. like you are my husband..."
"I am your husband, love..." Jungkook smiles
Jimin's heart skips a beat
"J-Jungkook... stop doing this.... you can't do things like this and not expect me to fall for you..." Jimin looks away, a tear dropping from his eyes
Jungkook cups the boy's face, his thumb wiping off the escaped teardrop "...and what if I say I want you to fall for me..."
Jimin gets off the couch angrily
"Are you serious right now?! You really want to break my heart don't you? Unbelievable!" Jimin turns around and walks away but before he could, Jungkook grabs him and pins him to the wall behind him
"Jiminah... look into my eyes and tell me... do you really feel like I am doing this to hurt you? I love you... I fell for you the first time I saw you but then circumstances made me believe that you are a sassy brat but I came to know you aren't so, in fact you are the most genuine and sincere person I have ever met... and..." Jungkook sighs "....I know you think I'm some sort of playboy and you misunderstood my actions which you unfortunately saw in college,but it isn't true... you only know one side of the story... " Jungkook sighs again when he sees the boy staring at him intently " .... I'm not here to justify myself but to prove that I genuinely care about you... that I love you so damn much... and that I really want to make this marriage work.... don't you?" Jungkook looks with so much love and desperation that Jimin cries softly
"I'm scared..." Jimin whispers
"Why?" Jungkook whispers back, his face close enough to Jimin's to feel his hot breath
"...it's my first time having this kind of feeling for someone who is already mine... im feeling overwhelmed about the fact that my crush actually likes me back..."
"Crush? I'm your crush?" Jungkook asks smirking slightly
Jimin hums
"Well too bad he doesn't like you ..."
Jimin's heart drops
"...because he loves you so damn much..." Jungkook pecks the boy's head softly before resting his forehead against Jimin's
They both hold each other's hands
"I love you... thank you for loving me back..."
"I love you too Jungkook" Jimin closes his eyes feeling Jungkook's hot breath mingle with his own
