(introducing a new person)
(Luz going undercover as Luka, but Amity finds out)
Amity's POV
To say that I was tired would be an understatement… I WAS EXHAUSTED!
The twins ended up coming over because they heard Luz was back and ended up being loud as hell. I didn't get to go to sleep until about 5 am, and I have a test today.
I groaned walking into my first class, putting my head on the desk, letting out a heavy sigh
“Bad night?”
I jumped at the sudden voice and looked up to see a boy, he must be one of the new kids in school, I rolled my eyes
“You have no idea”
He nodded his head sitting next to me and fixed his posture to where he was sitting straight up
“I have siblings, so I somewhat have an idea”
I smiled
“I'm Amity”
I said, reaching my hand out for him to shake
“Connor”
He said as he took my hand, shaking it I must say he has a tight grip, but he seemed kind enough
The teacher walked in and had a student following them in, I couldn't see much since they had their hood on
“Okay class my friend has asked me to allow her child to attend my classes for a while so everyone, please be nice to Lu-”
The student grabbed Mr. Sod by his jacket, making him come over to them while whispering something to him
“My apologies, I didn't know”
The kid brushed him off
“Everyone, this is Luka? That's what you said, right?”
He said, looking back at the hooded kid while they gave him a nod
I watched this person's body language and why did it look so familiar the way they sat, twiddled with their thumbs
“Mr. Sod, how come that kid gets to sit in your chair but none of us do? Don't you think that's a bit of special treatment?”
I looked over at Connor, I didn't think it was special treatment really the kid seemed anxious and like they would rather not be in the same room as everyone else
“As you know Mr. Wilson, no this is not special treatment, Luka doesn't want to sit near other people”
“Why are they scared?”
“I'm not scared of anything”
I watched as everything played out but not once had I saw Luka move how did they get behind Connor that fast
“Woah, hey there, let's just settle down now”
Connor looked at me then smiled
“Yeah I guess your right sweet pea"
I cringed at the name but didn't let it show since I would rather not be rude
Mr. Sod cleared his throat
“Thank you Amity, and um Luka, can you not break my desk please? I don't have enough money to pay for new ones.”
I looked to see what Mr. Sod was referring to and got a glimpse of the face of the mystery person eyes as red as a rose, but it was a quick glance before my eyes followed to their hand
Crumbled pieces of wood lay in their hand
“S-sorry”
Their voice was husky as if they haven't spoken in years, but why did it sound like Luz's morning voice?
“As you know ladies and gentlemen today is a group project, so I want you to find yourself a partner they will be your partner for the next week to come so choose wisely”
I groaned I hated doing partner work because I'm the one who always did the most in the end, I stood up when I felt a hand on my wrist
“Want to be my partner?”
It was Connor
“As much as I love doing school work, partner work isn't my thing, sorry”
“Ah come on Amity, it's for the assignment please”
“Luka, would you mind being Amity's partner? Your mother has spoken tremendously about your grades”.
I looked back to the front, seeing that same person walking towards me
“Off”
They said signaling to my wrist, Connor let go but scoffed
“Jerk”
Apparently, Luka heard and had a fast come back
“Bitch”
I watched this play out Connor hearing and then Luka smirking while flipping him off
“You're quite the troublemaker, aren't you?
They shrugged
“You remind me of someone, someone who's supposed to be at home resting”
They tensed or should I say she tensed
I've got you now
“So, Luka, what caused you to crack the desk?”
She shrugged looking into my eyes, the red still there but fading away I put my hand on her cheek
“You're terrible at acting”
I said cracking a smile, making the one I love just lean into my hand more
“Was Never great at it yourself, carniño”
I scoffed but kept my hand on her face
“You look like a jealous emo boy”
“Bad boys get the pretty girls, I mean, I got you don't I?”
I blushed at this, but a question I had caused it to falter
“Why are you here?”
“To see you”
Well, the blushing returned and turns out it's very noticeable.
“Hey Luka, you over there flirtin? Atta boy”
Connor looked over at us, I felt my eyes meet his before I looked at Luz
“Are you fine with being called boy?”
She shrugged
“Just as long as no one knows it's me yet, I'll be fine”
I felt someone behind me and looked to see none other than Connor.
“Hey Connor”
“Amity”
The way he said my name made me shiver, and not in the good way like Luz can, but in a way that sounded like my mother.
“What do you want? Can't you see we're talking?”
Wait, why did Luz sound upset?
“Oh I don't know, maybe it's the fact that you are already putting moves on someone you just met?”
I wanted to laugh 'just met' boy we're dating we've known each other for years
“Beat it.”
I looked at Luz and felt a blush creep up on my cheeks hearing her voice filled with something, apart from the kindness I'm used to, which was somewhat attractive.
“And what if I say no?”
The red became known again I had to speak up before they get into it, and knowing Luz some teeth will be lost…
“Hey it's okay Connor, you don't need to worry, Luka and I are just old friends isn't that right Lu?”
I felt Luz hand tightening on mine looking into her eyes, it's like we spoke with eye contact.
'Trust me, I hated saying friend too'
I reassured her that I didn't mean it by squeezing her hand back, making her smile just a bit
“Yeah old friends, so you can back off now”
Woo boy is the heat on in this classroom?.. I thought while fanning myself a bit.
“Hey Amity, your face is red, do you have a fever?”
Connor was about to put his hand on my forehead, making me tense when Luz smacked it away
“She doesn't like to be touched by new people, and didn't I say to take a hike we're trying to work here”
She's so getting kisses and cuddles later
Connor scoffed but didn't question us further
“Dumbass”
I chuckled at her comment, but decided not to encourage this behavior further.
“So, which class do you have next?”
Luz hummed before pulling out a piece of paper
“Geometry?”
Her face was priceless, boy was she in for a treat
Connor pov
Have you found anything?
“No sir, but there is this particular girl I've been keeping an eye on, rumor has it she dated our target”
“We'll get a move on, boy, find out where she is hiding!”
“Yes sir.”
I will find you, Luz. And when I do, I'll be the last thing you ever see.
Time skip and warning kissing aggressively no nudy Judie's though
Luz pov
We ended up making it to the house, Amity seemed to be sleepy but more over happy
She pulled me up the stairs
“What are you doing, you dork?”
“Giving you an award for protecting me from the dangerous Connor”
She said it in the most playful tone I've heard as if we where in a play, I being the knight and her the princess which turned my face red.
“Heyy don't say things like that, you'll make me think of somethi-”
She pulled me into a kiss
“I meant it~”
My blush grew, making the very point of my ears red
“A-amity, we're still in h-high school”
“Luz, get your mind out of the gutter”
She said while kissing me again this time more aggressive making me smile into it
I felt her smile into the kiss as well before she parted away from my lips
“Want to watch a movie and cuddle or something?"
I nodded
“But I get to pick”
She huffed bit didn't complain as she hopped on my back nipping at my neck some
“And you say you're not a cat”
