Month of March in 2023, sun was peeking through windows inside our TejRan home. We can see someone sleeping on the bed with frown on face, cuddled up to the comforter, clutching the pillow to her chest. Her phone was ringing continuously, she opened her eyes slowly, traced the bed for her phone, picked it up and saw the caller ID. She smiled looking at the caller ID, a beautiful smile adorn her face admist her pain.
Teja " Hi my little "
Karan " Hi my sweetie, Good morning "
Teja " good morning sunny... Kya kar raheho "
Karan " mein shoot location pe agayaaa... Tumara call ka intezar kar rahe thi but u didn't call,I guessed u must be sleeping. Did I disturb you love "
Teja " I was sleeping sunny. No my love, u didn't disturb me, I was about to wake up "
Karan " chal video call pe aa "
She looked at herself, she was looking pale after throwing up everything she had last night, hairs tangled and her weekness was clearly visible.
Teja " Abhi nahi sunny, I will call you back after freshning up "
Karan " Arey Aise Kyun.. Aaa na teju, I want to see you "
Teja " Acha okay.. Give me 5 mins "
Karan sighed and cut the call. She quickly washed her face and tied her hair, looked in the mirror, she was okay a bit now yet who she was kidding, he will find about what's wrong with her in a minute.
She called him and he happily lifted the call but his happiness was replaced by frown looking at her condition.
Karan " teju kya hua baby, y r u looking so pale "
Teja " kuch nahi sunny, thoda weakness hai.. Theek hojaungi, don't worry "
Karan " how can I stop worrying.. Look at yourself.. Y don't u take care of yourself teju, when did u ate last time "
Teja " last night " she whispered slowly
Karan " but u look like u didnt ate from days"
Teja " I throwed up everything sunny, isiliye "
She was holding her breath bcoz of pain, closed her eyes tightly and he realized something.
Karan " teju, baby, kya hua, is it that time"
Teja nodded slowly with tears forming in her eyes and he sighed. He was getting worried looking at her , her pain is becoming unbearable for him to handle.
Karan " love, please breath in, breath out. Theek hojayega meri jaan.. Look at me baby girl "
She opened her eyes and looked at him and he was giving her kisses and making cute face. She smiled forgetting her pain for sometime.
Omi came from behind to call karan for the shoot.
Karan " I don't want to leave you "
Teja " go bby, I will manage, I m your strong bacha.. "
Karan " Awwwww. Yes my sherni.. Love you doll.. Take rest, No need to go for shoot, take an off. I will call u after this shot, Okay cutie ? "
Teja nodded like a bby and give him kisses...
Teja " I miss you my little, my baby, my motu ,my cuto.. "
Karan " aaww.. I miss you too my ladoo, my bacha.. Take care.. Byeeee "
She kept her phone down happily and went to take bath. After sometime her manager called and informed that Karan called and informed about her off today and the production also granted her. She looked at his photo hanging on the wall with her beside him,
Teja " Kitna Acha hai tu sunny, u r the best boyfriend or what "
She asked at the photo frame and chuckled. She moved outside to see mumma and papa kundrra talking about something. She wished them good morning and they gave their best smile at their daughter.
Papa " Aao my doll "
Teja " papa "
She went and hugged him and then hugged mumma.
Mumma " kya hogaya meri beti ko, tabiyat theek haina"
Teja nodded sideways and kept her hands on tummy " periods ache "
She said and papa immediately side hug her.
Papa " u want something teju, give me the list, I will ask someone to bring it for you "
Teju kept her head oh his shoulder and he ruffled her hairs.
Teju "nahi papa, sunny had stocked up everything beforehand. "
Papa " chocolates, ice-cream wagera bhi"
Teju " haan hai "
Papa " Its okay, me and my daughter will go out.. Its our day "
Mumma " haan ji, aur mein "
Teju " ofc u r in mumma, aap Aur papa alag nahi hai "
She giggled and they both laughed.
Teju " chalo let's eat breakfast .. Aapko dawai bhi leni haina papa, agar nahi khaye, apka sunny daatega mujhe"
Papa " uss khote ko Chodo.. Chal let's eat. Chalo ji aap bhi "
The trio went to dining hall, Manoj arranged the breakfast on table. Idly, rava Dosa and sambar. He smiled at them and the trio reciprocated.
Teju " wow Manoj bhai, rava dosa thank you "
Manoj " ji choti mam, badi mam ka order hai "
Teju " thank you mumma.. U r the best, Ab mujhe khilado na"
Mumma feed her lovingly and with some chit chat they finished the breakfast.
Teju " papa, we will see some movie together "
Papa " as my princess wish "
They arranged the theatre room and she was running here and there , taking popcorn n all. They put some movie ( choose ur favorite ) n soon in middle they saw teju dozzing off.
Mumma ruffled her hairs " Bachi tired Hogaye, she is trying to be happy even in pain "
Papa " she is missing our sunny, uska aadat haina iss waqt saath rehna ka "
Mumma " haan , pata hai aapko, when I was not here , he used to call me to ask what should be done to make her comfortable. I was shocked when he asked me for first time, I never saw him like this, but with teju, he is entirely different person. "
Papa " ladli hai voh karan ki , Humara bhi but he pampers her alot "
Mumma " sahi bola aapne.. She is his first baby, from my vision, even if they have their own babies, she will be the first one for him. He will never stop pampering her "
Papa " beta kiska hai "
He raised his imaginary collar
Mumma " Mera hai, mere sunny "
Papa laughed and mumma signed him to be silent. He muffled his laugh and they both adore the Lil girl sleeping near them.
Mumma " we r lucky na to get her "
Papa " absolutely.. She changed our sunny so much, I see him more responsible and compassionate now. She is really the heart of kundrra family "
They both shared a beautiful smile. They continue watching the movie and soon it ended. Mumma wake her up to have something. She opened her eyes and her pain shoot up as she changed her position.
Teja " aah mumma , mumma dard horaha hai "
Mumma " teju beta relax, take deep breath , u were lying na, suddenly u sat straight Isiliye Aise , calm down.. "
Papa moved towards the kitchen and meanwhile mumma was with her.
Teja " y is it always like this, y we have to endure these things mumma "
Mumma " I know bacha, it pains alot, but we r not weak haina my baby... We will fight this pain also. This 3 days will make u fight ur inner turmoil and u come up more stronger. Always remember my bacha, women are more stronger than we ever think. I know this is ridiculous, but it's a part of every women till a certain age and it's a biological process. Nothing to be done by us on own "
Teja " I know mumma, I just feel nauseous and dirty and this pain is making it worse. "
Mumma " there is no need for you to feel dirty. It's a blood, nothing else, many of us see it as something dirty, but it's like a step to reach the ultimate destination, when we go through the steps properly, it will lead us to our goal. The same way, when we celebrate pregnancy as a best thing and happiest moment, we need to endure this also which is a part of that process. When ur menstruation goes normal, it means you r healthy, it also helps to keep ur hormones under control and reduces ur stress level. There is nothing to be ashamed of or feel dirty, samja tune "
Teja smiled, mumma wantedly kept her busy in her talks to divert her mind which she did successfully. They heard click sound and found papa standing with hot water bag. Teja smiled with tears and mumma took the bag n kept in her stomach.
Teja " papa aapko ye sab karneka zaruri nahi hai "
Papa " Kyun nahi hai, Beti hai tu meri, Tu dard mein hai, mein kaise chup betun.. Chaped kayegi "
Teja pouted cutely and both smiled at her. Soon her phone rang and it was her sunny on video call.
Karan " ladoo, how r u now, dard nahi haina "
Teju " I m fine sunny ,dard tha but papa brought hot bag "
Karan " Acha my Jaan.. Kuch kaya apne "
Mumma " I m gng to bring her something sunny "
Teja turned her camera to mumma " hi sexy, how r u "
Mumma " my bacha.. I am good , kaisa hai tu "
Karan " all good , papa bhi Yahi hai"
She turned it to papa " khote kaisa hai tu"
Karan " papa, thoda izzat dho yaar meri kudi ki samne "
Teju " haha ,sunny ur face "
Karan " han hasle tu , mein wahan ake dheklunga"
Papa " chupkar, damkiyan mat de meri beti ko "
Teja showed her tongue to him and he smiled seeing her happy. He was worried for her but seeing her like this made him calm.
Karan " okay my lovelies, ab mein jaa rahe hu, shoot keliyea. Byeeee "
Teju " haan Theek hain jaao.. We r also going out.. Haina papa "
Papa " yes doll "
Karan " Mera bina, mein nahi khelraha hai yaar.. "
Papa " chal ja nalayak "
Karan " waise ladoo , when is aai and baba coming back "
Teju "after one week sunny "
Karan " oh okay.. Bye ppl.. Umaaah"
Papa " ye humare liye ya teju keliye "
He winked at them and they both looked at him with wide eyes and blushing face.
Mumma laughed and karan cut the call immediately.
Teja " papa aap na naughty banrahe ho "
Papa " I m always naughty doll..Ask ur mumma "
It's time for mumma to blush and Teja hooted.
Mumma " chup hojao, let's have lunch. Come "
The trio had their lunch, Teja had light food and then they decided to go for park in the evening and then ice-cream date.
They reached the park and teja mood brighten up seeing the kids playing. She walked further and joined some kids to play. Papa and mumma sat there in a bench and they were talking with each other. Mumma kept her head on his shoulder and the scene was captive for everyone heart. Teja looked at them from the area she was playing, her heart felt warm at the sight. Papa was looking at her with love and mumma was smiling.
Teja thoughts " awww..mumma and Papa Kitna cute hai. Sunny, I hope u and me will also be like them, forever together. Kitni bhi hardships aye life mein.. We will face it together, we will sail this bond of lifetime through love. I miss you sunny, kya tum jaldi nahi aasakte "
She was in her thoughts when someone closed her eyes from behind, inhaling the scent she smiled widely, turned to him and hugged him tightly.
Teja " sunnnyyyyy I missed you so much"
Karan " I also missed my ladoo so much, Isiliye jaldi agayaaa "
Teju pulled from the hug and he pecked her lips.
Karan " I love u my ladoo "
Teju " I love u too sunny.. But kaisa yahan itni jaldi "
Karan " I was planning to surprise you, my shoot was done by this mid morning and then I booked the tickets available immediately and fly down here. Mujhse nahi hoga zyada der Tere bina "
He said with a pout and she pecked it making him smile widely. She blushed and hugged him tightly " my little " .
Soon they split up hearing some cough, looked ahead to see mumma and papa seeing them wide smile.
Papa " welcome back son "
Mumma " sunny " she hugged him and he hugged her back dearly. They talked about work for sometime.
Papa " okay u two stay here for sometime, me and ur mumma will be there "
They left them alone and they sat down on a bench a Lil far from the elders. Teja kept her head on his shoulder and he ruffled her hairs, entwining their fingers, looked at her with love. The scene turned to be just like how she imagined..
She smiled widely and he pecked her forehead.
Teju " I want us to grow like this, together forever sunny "
karan " I promise we will be like this, jitney bhi Hum lade, our love will never fade and will always keep loving u even when ur hair turns grey and ur face adore with wrinkles. U will find me look at u like this even at that age. I love you ladoo "
Teja " I never want anything more than this. Just you, by my side always. My world"
