Daily Struggle

The sun shines
She makes the journey to her car
She throws her backpack on the seat
She sinks down into the soft velvet
She slumps forward and releases all the tension
She is hunched from the weight of her thoughts
She has dark circles from all the sleepless nights
She starts the car
She drives home
She works and works until
The sun sets
The night begins
She stops
She eats
She relaxes
She does everything to get away from the thoughts
She succeeds
She stays up late as it's the only time she gets to herself
She passes out from exhaustion
The sun rises
She does it all once more
The cycle continues
