"how many rounds is there?" Asked Badyah
"I don't ever remember seeing round 2."
"AW I MISSED IT"
[Y/N] enters the room with motorcycle helmet and a bag from 7-11 and 3 drinks 2 shlushies for [Y/N] and Courtney and a small soda for Badyah.
Everyone get there respective drink and candy as [Y/N] sit where they were a few moments ago munching on their favorite candy.
Over the tv we can hear the host of hox castle
Well done contestants. Now you're going up against the lighting round.
"YES, TRIVIA"
Norma seems excited for trivia.
Hox laughs at Norma and the replied
"Not quite" as he winks in the camera.
the show cuts to Hox now on a flight of stairs
"To advance, all you have to do is climb these stairs.. I'll see you at the top. And uh take your time.." He laughs manically before disappearing surrounded by pink flames
Norma takes a deep breath before picking up one foot and carefully placing it on top of the first stair. Only for nothing to happen.
"Huh? Oh, its okay. C'mon"
Barney, Norma and pugsley start a vending up the stairs some a bit faster than others, others being Pugsley struggling going up the stairs.
"This shouldn't be so simple" Norma began to worry
"Isn't it a good thing that its simple?" Barney said doubtfully
"That's easy for you to say."
They turn around to see pugsley pulling him self up the stairs. Face planting into the cement.
"I never really got the hang of this."
Instead of helping Barney gives him and encouraging smile.
"But i don't get what's lightning round about this."
And just on cue lightning strikes in between Barney and Norma missing them both.
They start to panic and run up the stairs yelling. The faster they ran the faster the lighting kept striking .
Back in the house
"What is this shows budget??"
Courtney stopped playing with [Y/N]'s hair as [Y/N] stopped drinking their slushie.
"Oh crud.."
Back on to the show
Pugsley far behind Barney and Norma sprinting, everyone is yelling lightning is striking faster and faster
"C'MON PUGSLEY!"
Norma shouts at him
But lighting strikes in front of him making him run down the stairs only for lighting to strike there to making him turn again and run up the stairs only to keep doing the said thing.
"AH! AH! AH! I WANNA GET OFF! AH!"
"WHY AREN'T WE AT THE TOP YET?!"
Barney yelled running behind Norma
"THESE STAIRS GO ON FOREVER."
Norma remembers what Hox said
"Take your time.."
"WAIT..everyone stop!"
She puts her hand out behind her making Barney stop running. As they stop the lighting slows down almost matching Norma's pace
"OH, NO! AHHH"
They turn to see Pugsley still running pack and forth.
"Pugsley, stay." barney commands and Pugsley complies.
But he stays in an Awkward position with one leg up and hands out keeping his balance.
"He said 'take your time,' and look."
Norma looks up to see the lighting ever so slowly hit the stairs behind of Pugsley
"Everybody, go slowly."
And that's what they did
"OH! wont you look at that? They solved another round! Yayy.." He says unenthusiastically
"Were okay. We made it.
Norma says after they finally reach the top.
"Whoo! Finally!"
Hox teleports next to them
"Well done contestants. Now you've made it to Sudden Death."
"Huh? What's that?"
"THIS!"
As he said that he shoved Barney down the stairs
Leaving only Norma and pugsley gasp
"NO!"
Barney quickly falling down the stairs and at the same rate lightning strikes him many times until he finally land at the bottom getting strict with lightning one last time effectively killing him.
"Oh no what a shame.. Looks like were down to just Two contestants"
Back home
[Y/N] on the brink of tears, Badyah with her mouth wide open with Courtney looking equally shocked.
"WHAT THE FU-"
"DID DID BARNEY JUST STRAIGHT UP DIE?!"
"I cant believe it.. Pass me the popcorn"
Instead of eating the actually popcorn she took a big bite of the bowl
The Tv switched to the a cereal add.
"Hey where did [Y/N] go?"
Badyah shrugged not taking her eyes off the screen.
Courtney Hears a small 'ding' coming from the main room but ignores it and watches tv.
Back to the show.
"Barney??" Pugsley licks his face
"Wait. what about our life line?"
"I don't think that's what life line means!"
"I don't think that's what Sudden Death means. Come on! We want to use our life line!"
Hox's head appears floating in front of Norma
"Are you sure? You only get one-"
"That's not fair! You just pushed him down the stairs!"
"My show, my rules, sweetheart. So, will you use your life line?"
"YES!" Pugsley yelled at him
"Alright jeez! Keep your fez on. Here you go"
And like that he goes away and leaves a pink heart with pink wings to grow big and bring Barney back.
"Hmm? Oh hey guys, what's going on?"
"BARNEY, YOUR BACK!
"BARNEY, BARNEY, BARNEY!"
Pugsley jumps up and down at the sight of his friend.
"Huh? What are you guys talking about?"
Looking to his right seeing his corpse on the floor begins to break apart into ash and be blown away.
"All right, cool. When we get back, remind me to call my therapist."
The show must go on.
"Congratulations questers! You've made it to the third and final round somehow! This next challenge will test your might, your resolve, your charisma, uniqueness, and -"
Barney clears his throat interrupting him.
"Get on with it."
Hox sighs in defeat.
"Fine. I can't believe you made it this far anyways. PREPARE yourself for the chamber of Cuddles"
The trio walk in and just about the doors about to close. Hox shouts "GOOD LUCK!"
"Chamber of cuddles? How do we get out?"
"Maybe we have to cuddle each other?"
Norma stops in her tracks with a disgusted and shocked look on her face.
"Oh, my ghost. Were never getting out of here."
Pugsley and Barney stop walking head of here and look back at her untill pugsley hears something and quickly shushes them.
"Friends.. Something is in here with us..."
"Huh.."
Something or someone quickly runs behind them chittering causing Pugsley to whimper. Untill
SLAM
the sound of something heavy hitting the metal floor. They look up to see a small crab ONLY TO BE CRUSHED BY A CRAB 100x ITS SIZE.
It slams the floor with its pinchers and the air alone pushes the trio back.
"What has this got to do with cuddles?!"
Hox appears behind them as a floating head.
"That's his name. That's Cuddles!"
Cuddles picks up his pinchers and goes to slam the trio into dust before they move out the way.
"Good luck" his says before he disappeared.
Back home.
Badyah was hiding behind the couch. While courtney moved closer to the TV.
"CUDDLES?! OH TALK ABOUT A CALL BACK! He hasn't been on the show since you guys were primordial soup."
Badyah comes out of hiding
"Oh that reminds me, soup?"
Untill she hears growling on the TV and continues hiding behind the couch.
With [Y/N].
"Im going to kill that hijo de pu-"
~Ding~
They reaches the floor that hox's Castle is being filmed on and quickly finds the studio.
They break the door down and find Hox
"Oh wow another mortal? Well if your here to be on the wait list i don't think you'll have ti-"
[Y/N] didnt have time to hear him talk about the wait list and punched Hox right in his face.
"Let them go."
" what the hell mortal? Who do you even want-"
Again not letting him Finnish [Y/N] go on top of Hox and proceeded to kick his ass.
Instead of security or producers trying to get [Y/N] off of hoc they instead let the trio out the chamber and put the cameras on hox and [Y/N]. The reason they did not help is because Hox and his cockyness always bragged about how 'his show, his rules.'
While [Y/N] was winning against Hox. They did get some cuts and bruises on their face and a few on their legs.
Back at home
Badyah and Courtney spit out their drinks and look at each other then back at the screen
"[Y/N]?!"
They screamed in unison
Back on the show.
barney, Norma and pugsley quickly ran over to get [Y/N] off of Hox
"[Y/N] what are you doing get off him"
[Y/N] turns around and gave Barney the biggest hug.
Hox got up and was about to punch [Y/N] again untill Barney punched him knocking him out.
They smiled and got their lousy prize and returned home
"My friend died on Hox's castle and all I got was as lousy mug'" courtney read the mug out loud
"Just something to make you feel a little less home sick"
"Look I know its not much, but.."
Courtney exclaims softly saying "I love it."
Barney walked up to [Y/N]
"Hey thanks for going down there and giving that guy what he deserved."
"Any time B"
[Y/N] smiled at Barney.
Later on while [Y/N] was fixing them selfs up in the bathroom Courtney walks in
"Oh hey my bad I'll let you use the-"
"[Y/N] come here"
Courtney got up on a box to almost be the same height as [Y/N]
"Oh whats up?"
She doesn't say anything she just pulls them in closer and presses and alcohol wipe into a small open cut
"OW!"
[Y/N] backs up and looks at her with hurt dog eyes
"Why red why"[Y/N], pretending to cry
"Oh cmon you big baby. Come over here"
"Say sorry."
"What"
"Say your sorry courtney"
"Ugh im sorry whatever come over here."
[Y/N] walks closer as courtney leans closer. And we'll.. Courtney discovered another human emotion..
Courtney kissed [Y/N] on the lips. They stay like this for a few seconds before breaking apart.
"Anywho drank your slushies bye!"
Courtney jumped of the box and ran out the bathroom slamming the door behind her, leaving [Y/N] with a small amount of ash on their lips but a huge amount of blush.
