"Ashley! " Her mom shouted loud calling her
Ashley exhaled sharply closing her book as she walked downstairs
"What's this? " Her mother spatted loud throwing some papers at her... It were her report cards
She gulped as tears brimmed her eyes
"Is this why we send you to school? " Her mother shouted loud
"Mom.. I will perform better next time.. " She replied stuttering in fear
"Just a waste girl you are.. I don't know why even we are tolerating you! " She spatted angry, tears brimmed Ashley's eyes hearing her when her Dad came
"What's wrong? " Her dad asked
"This... Precious daughter of yours has ranked 2 nd again! " Her mother spatted angry
"Who's first? " Her Dad asked, voice dangerous cold
"Who else? That Samaira Nigam! " Her mother spatted disappointed
"Nigam! " Her dad scoffed gazing Ashley
"Ashley... Come here! " Her Dad called, Ashley gulped feared she knew what was coming
She walked near when a hard slap landed on her cheek making blood ooze out her nose
"This Nigam! Everywhere he's on my nerves! " Her dad shouted loud grabbing her jaw tight
"You better get rid of that Samaira next time.. Or I won't hesitate killing you! " He spatted angry jerking her jaw hard, Ashley ran towards her room as tears leaked her eyes, she collapsed on her bed crying bad remembering
"Daddieee.. Gibe me naaaa!" Baby Amaira whined hitting Siddharth who was busy instructing the workers decorating the mansion
"Babu.. They are for birthday " Siddharth chuckled picking her up
"I banttt that heartttt balloonnn " Amaira whined pouting cutely making puppy face
"You are totally your mommy's carbon copy! " Siddharth chuckled ordering the worker to give the balloon
"Thankieeeeeee " Amaira clapped excited as Siddharth handled her the balloon, he laughed seeing the excited her when his phone rang
"Baby.. Stay here okay! I'm coming! " He ordered her adamantly as he walked towards the balcony to attend the call
Amaira was busy playing with the balloon when she saw a balloon flying out, she ran behind it chasing it
Siddharth returned after attending the call when he saw Amaira not there, he panicked searching for her when Brayden came
"Brayden! Did you saw Amaira? " He asked tensed
"Yeah.. She just ran outside! " Brayden replied
Siddharth immediately ran out tensed when he saw Amaira catching the balloon in the middle of road
"Amuuuu! " He shouted tensed running towards her as he saw a truck approaching her direction
Amaira gazed Siddharth excited unknown of the truck when Siddharth jumped engulfing her in his arms as the truck hit him
They rolled down the road,
Amaira breathed heavily terrified, she opened her eyes,her forehead bleeding ,she was on Siddharth's chest who laid unconscious
She panicked seeing the blood off Siddharth's head
"Daddieee !" She called him crying badly
"Daddiee..wakieee " She cried more hugging him tight grabbing his shirt in her small soft palms
Just when she felt someone picking her up,she struggled crying bad
"Daddieee! " She cried more grabbing his shirt tight but Siddharth laid unconscious
The person pulled her forcefully, Amaira cried struggling badly, she was loosing her consciousness, Siddharth had protected her well but she was just a 5 year old kid afterall The last she saw was Siddharth lying in blood pool as someone took her away off him, his blooded locket in her small hands
"Dad! Please find me! " Ashley cried hugging the locket tight

Avneet groaned frustrated cuddling into her pillow as the sunrays stricked her face
"Sidddooooo! " She shouted loud frustrated
"Sidddddhartthhhhh! " She shouted again when the door opened as Siddharth entered in with the food tray

"Kya hua? " He chuckled keeping the tray on the table gazing her who was cuddled inside the blanket
"Close curtains na! I wannnaa sleepppppp! " Avneet whined cutely cuddling into the blanket more
"No sleep.. Kitna you are gonna sleep! " Siddharth scolded stern as he grabbed her blanket pulling it
"Nooooo! " Avneet whined again pulling the blanket making him stumble upon her
She gasped as he landed on her, her cheeks red on the inches difference between them, evillish smirk on his face
"You are in mood nowadays! " Siddharth smirked caressing her cheek
"Get away! " She blushed pushing him as she woke up making him fall down the bed
He gazed her disappointed whereas she chuckled
She pouted cutely spreading her arms staring him, Siddharth exhaled sharply sitting beside her as she quickly cuddled his chest, Siddharth chuckled wrapping his arm around her
"It pains? " He asked tensed gazing her shoulder which was bandaged
"Na.. It's fine now! " She chuckled on his concern
"Siddharth, when that killer showed you Samaira's unconscious photo.. You weren't so shocked.. Why? According to them they had choked her! " Avneet asked in a shaky voice
"Ahaan told me that he had mixed babel tablet in her morning drink.. That tablet makes you unconscious.. Toh jab that killer had choked her she passed out earlier due to that tablets..they thought she was dead " Siddharth chuckled replying handling her the coffee cup
"Waise.. He didn't got your pulse.. How you stopped it? " Avneet asked confused

Siddharth drove towards the forest after giving Avu the instructions when he dialled Ahaan

"That tablet has its effects for 30 minutes and our entire plan took approx 30 minutes only.. So.. That's how I was proved dead! " Siddharth chuckled gazing Avneet who hmmed surprised
He smiled handling her the pancake plate, she squealed happily like a small kid gazing him,
"You made this? " She asked excited gazing the plate
"Hmmh.. Can't help being a good husband! " Siddharth replied dramatically as Avneet hit his arm naughtilly
"Natku! " She chuckled as Siddharth readied her bite
"Aaa" He held the fork in front of her mouth
Avneet grabbed the bite munching it cutely, her mouth stuffed whereas Siddharth gazed her tensed
"Abhi tell also na how's it? " He asked being impatient
Avneet chuckled engulfing her arms around his neck tight
"You are best! "
"Aaa" She gestured him to feed her as she hugged him resting her head on his chest

The caller ID read
He picked up the call feeding Avneet the next bite,who munched it cuddling his arm more
"Yes Sir! " He replied professionally
"Good work Siddharth! I got the report from Abhishek" Ritwik chuckled informing
Siddharth laughed replying,
"Thank you so much sir! "
"So.. Now you just need to handle media.. So report Aiden as the killer to the court and media.. Then our case is closed " Ritwik replied
Siddharth stiffened hearing him, Avneet gazed him tensed
"Sir.. He's not the killer but! " Siddharth replied tensed
"I know.. But we have order from higher officials... Brayden will be taken care of.. You just do what I said " Ritwik replied
"Sir.. This is not justice but, why to accuse someone false! " He spatted tense, his voice cold
Avneet gazed him tensed who was controlling his anger
"Siddharth.. Don't teach law to me! I said we have orders from higher officials.. Just bury up this case right here...You know what your oversmartness always costs you!! " Ritwik ordered taunting sternly
Siddharth exhaled frustrated curling his fist in anger, Avneet gazed him confused and tensed
"As you say Sir! " Siddharth replied disappointed
"Good for you! We have meeting with director at evening.. Come with Abhishek! " Ritwik ordered dropping the call off
"Bastards! " Siddharth yelled angry throwing the phone, Avneet flinched on his anger
"What's.. What's wrong? " She asked tensed
"They need us to bury the case right here reporting Aiden as the killer! " Siddharth replied gritting his teeth
"But he's innocent.. " Avneet replied tensed

"Interrogate Aiden! " He ordered sternly

"What he said? " Faisu asked tensed as Sumedh dropped the call off
"To interrogate Aiden! " Sumedh replied
"This is same what happened 13 years ago! " Jannat spatted worried
"For which he had to lose his daughter! " Sumedh exhaled sharply remembering
