Karkats POV:
I was sitting on the couch in the new universe that had been created after sburb, alone, as usual, when strider comes up to ask me for cultural exchange, I begrudgingly agree and he opens up his laptop, showing what appears to be a shoddily made quadrant chart
"I was thinking about you trolls have different types of romance, and it made me think of the human kinds of love" he explained, before going on one of his tangents which I am too tired after today's hectic events to type so I'll summarize for my own future reference
Humans have 4 different kinds of "love", at least four spoken kinds
First is romantic love, this seems to be a strange combination of all four quadrants, pretty much a morail who you occasionally have important arguments with and have sex with, which was weird, but then he got even stranger, he told me about "Family"
Family is like a lusus, but everyone's the same species and sometimes there's multiple lusii/grubs
But something he said perked my interest
He told me what a mother was
A mother is someone who cares for you, without the hissing or the screaming, a mother is somebody who comforts and holds you, who knows what's best
Of course, only one female came to mind.
Kanaya and I have been morails for God knows how long, i confide in her, she loves me, even if I'm disgusting. And something about her, something deep inside ME, makes me believe that she should be my mother, I need her to be.
"Rose has a much different definition of mother" Kanaya tells me. "She had a mother, and hers filled her mind with horrible ideas of wine and wizards" she shook her head as she spoke, looking down at her feet "what you are describing sounds like what rose tells me she wishes her mother was, and sometimes she asks me to act as a mother should to her" she explains
Something about that last sentiment resonated in me, awakening an almost primal urge to fall into her arms and cry, but I resist, my eyes just welling up with translucent crimson liquid
"Karkat, you're crying" kanaya says, brushing the hair out of my face with a delicate hand, her claws are neatly manicured and painted with pearlescent jade polish, she smells of sage and lavender, and I feel myself cave
I lean into kanaya, and she pulls me close into her warm chest, I sob and sob, wishing I could have had one, had a mother who cared, I look at the woman in front of me as she plants a kiss on my forhead
"Karkat, you leaked on me"
I feel adrenaline fill my body as I look down to my lap, where two wet stains on either side of my crotch could be seen, I feel my face grow hot with embarrassment, as I feel my destroyed "pull up"
~Flashback Time~

That's all I can think about
"Cmere little fucker! The drones are after me and I need a contributor!" Spits the indigoblood behind me, his arms grasping for the back of my shirt as I move my legs as fast as I can....it's not enough
"SHIT!" I curse, shooting up in my bed, immediately realizing the cold air and stench before me.
I'll admit, I, Karkat Vantas, piss myself due to ptsd
"Karkat dear, I can't keep washing your sheets for you every night" kanaya states, before holding up a small white garmet with elastic sides and thick padding in the crotch
"This is a 'pull up', I made it when this first started happening, but I wanted to see if you'd be mature enough to ask me yourself"
When I examine the garmet, I find familiarity in it, some freshly molted trolls will still spew grubsauce well into their post-pupated years, so their lusii put cloth over them to catch it
I reluctantly agree
~Back to the present~
Kanaya lifts me into the air with more strength than i could imagine her having, she chuckles softly at me "let's get you cleaned up, sweet boy" she coos as she lays a towel out on the floor, preparing a thicker looking garmet, wipes, and powder, she lays me down on the towel and gets to work, disposing of my soiled undergarments before replacing them with fresh ones.
She lifts me back up into the air, placing some sort of silicone bulb in my lips, and I begin to instinctual suckle, dozing off to sleep
