i woke up and felt that i was on top of someone. i couldn't really see my surroundings, so i closed my eyes but felt around and felt dreads.
"you finally up" i heard and instantly recognized the voice
my eyes jolted open and i sat up and looked at jahseh. he was shirtless and his hands rested on my waist. he sat up still holding me. i put my arms around his neck and he just stared at me. he attacked my lips and he laid back still kissing me. he started pushing my waist back and forth on him and i felt him rise under me. i lightly moaned and he smiled during the kiss.
"AHMAREE" i heard my mom call and i jumped up
i got up quickly and jahseh did too. i looked around for a place to hide jahseh. i heard her coming up the stairs and i started to panic.
"umm, just get under the blanket." i said to him and he tilted his head "just do it." i said and he got under the blanket.
momma opened the door and i threw the blanket over me.
"hey mom." i said and she furrowed her eyebrows.
"what's going on with yo blanket?" she asked
"oh i um... was just uncomfortable so i put a bunch of pillow under my legs and stuff" i quickly said
she stared for a minute and then just ignored it.
"so i can trust you right?" mom asked
"yeah of course" i said
"so im going out of town for like 2 months. if you need anything, just go next door" she said and i kinda got excited
"also, where's jahseh?" she asked and i quickly shrugged my shoulders
she looked around my room one last time and left my room. she yelled bye from downstairs and when the front door closed, jahseh lifted the blanket up.
"she gone?" he asked
"yea" i said to him and he got out from under the blanket.
"alr, imma call ski and trippie" he said
"well...i was hoping it could be just us for a little bit." i said quietly
he looked and me and smiled.
"that's alright i guess" he said and laid back on my bed
i looked over to my bedstand to get my phone and noticed that my book had been moved. i mentally cussed myself out.
"i wanna take you to a studio..." jahseh spoke out, breaking the silence and i snapped my head toward him.
"naw i'm goo-" i started but he cut me off
"you don't have a choice. you have a talent and you're not using it." he said
i tried to refuse but we were at a studio the next thing i knew. he dapped up a dude and the dude walked out leaving us alone. he sat on the couch and I just sat next to him.
"you wanna record the song you sang me a few weeks ago?" he asked and i nodded
"send me the beat." he told me
i sent him the beat and he messed around with a few things. he told me to go into the booth and i put the headphones on my head. he played the beat and i got my voice ready before he hit record.
...
he put the final touches on the song and i sounded really good.
"alright ...i finished it. you ready to go home?" he asked
"no, actually i wanted to do another song. it popped into my head a couple of days ago out of nowhere." i said
"you got a beat?" he asked and i shook my head.
i walked over to the piano that was in the corner of the room. i sat
down and started playing

i looked over at jahseh who was sitting next to me and he was staring at me with confusion but awe.
"did you like it?" i said
"how do you know this song?" he asked me
"i don't know, it just popped into my head." i said simply
"ahmaree, that's my song" he said and i tilted my head in confusion.
"i wrote and recorded that song a year ago" he said getting up.
he clicked a button and the exact piano tune started playing. he turned off the song and just sat down. we sat in silence for a while and he picked up his keys and walked out. what did i do? i ain't do nothing but sing a song. ion know why he's mad. i got up and followed behind him.
