Brooke's pov (13 weeks pregnant)
So I'm 3 months pregnant and JJ has been freaking out about my bump. Everything night he always talks to the baby. I always tell him that the baby can't hear him yet, he never really seems to care. And he's always complaining that it's taking to long and that the baby needs to hurry up and get here.
So we have our ultrasound today for my 3 months mark and the doctor said we're be able to hear the heartbeat. I'm really excited
"J Come on were gonna be late" I say to him because he's stuffing his face
"Yeah I'm coming" he says getting up
"Finally" I say going outside
"Shut up I was not taking that long" he says walking out after me
"Whatever you say babe" I say
He then opens the car door for me and getting in and driving us to the hospital.
At the hospital
I'm laying in the bed waiting for the nurse to come in and do the ultrasound and JJ's sitting next to me in the chair holding my hand.
"God what is taking her so long" JJ says annoyed
"J she's a nurse she's probably busy with another patient" I say
"Yeah well she's supposed be here I wanna see the baby" he says annoyed that's she's not here yet
"I'm sure she'll be here soon" I say
"Hey guys I'm sorry for the wait I had something with another patient" the burse says walking into the room
"Oh its ok" I say, "Finally" JJ says at the same time
"JJ don't say that, she's fine she's doing her job" I say. "I'm sorry he's inpatient" I say to the nurse
"It's ok you don't know now many inpatient people I get in here, I understand I would be to" the nurse says. "So we're 3 months correct" she says
"Yeah" I say smiling
"Ok so we're be able to hear the heartbeat and the baby's gonna start looking more like a baby now" she says
"That's good he looked like a blob before" JJ says
"He huh" the nurse says
"Yeah he thinks it's a boy" I say
"I know it's a boy" he says knowing he's right
"Well you won't know for sure for two or one and a half months, everybody's different" she says rubbing the gel on my stomach. "And there's the baby" she says
"Oh my god, look at their little legs, J look Oh my God it's so cute" I say crying
"It really looks like a baby, oh my God babe that's literally inside you babe your growing a baby" he says tearing up
"Our baby" I say bringing his head down to kiss him
"Yeah" he says kissing me back
"And baby's healthy" the nurse say. "I'll be right back with pictures of the ultrasound" she says leaving the room
"Were having a baby, like that's insane, I'm so excited and I love you so much" he says hugging me
"I love you to, so much" I say hugging me back
"Alright guys here are the photos, at the end of this week your be in you 2nd trimester" the nurse says
"Thank you" I say
"Your welcome" she says leaving the room once again
"Alright let's go home" JJ says
"Gladly" I say getting up
At Brooke's house
"Mom were home, you have to see the ultrasound pictures" I yell walking into the house
"Ok honey in the kitchen" my mom yells back
"Sissy, JJ your home" Leo comes running into and hugging ours legs
"Hey bubby, you go talk to your mom I got him" JJ says
"Ok" I say walking off
"Where's JJ" my mom says as I walk I to the kitchen
"He's with Leo, swear he loves him more then me sometimes" I say laughing
"Yeah I think the same with your brother, there's not doubt about it that JJ's going to be a good dad, he's great with Leo" my mom says
"Yeah but Leo's a toddler he's never taken care of a baby before" I say
"You guys well be just fine. I'm going to here every step of the way" she says hugging me. "Now let me see the pictures" she say
"Right yeah" I say handing her the ultrasound pictures
"Oh honey, this is amazing, I'm so proud of you for making this decision, it's going to be hard" she says hugging me again
"I know" I say hugging her back
