[Narrator]
Last time on a Brother's in Arms! Grandpa Gohan found and Raised both Y/n and Goku as his own children. Although while Y/n was mild mannered, Goku was very violent with his adoptive grandfather and stepbrother. After falling off a ravine and hitting his head hard on some rocks, Goku's destructive nature went away and he became a kind young man like Y/n.
Over the next few years, they stumbled across the full moon one day and transformed into Great Apes. With training from their grandfather, Y/n and Goku managed to retain control of their primal forms. Y/n also unlocked one of his Kryptonian abilities: Heat Vision.
Just as they were doing some work to their home, they heard a car coming their way. A new person named Bulma. What could she want? Let's find out.
[With Bulma]
While she was fascinated about Y/n's Heat Vision, her bag started to faintly glow and give a sort of echoing noise. She gasped and lifted the clasp to her bag where the radar was, to see two orange crystal spheres. One had 5 red stars on it while the other had 2 and they were faintly glowing.
Bulma: The Dragon Balls...they're reacting again. But...if so than that means...
She glanced around the house to see if anything seemed to have been out of place at the moment. When her eyes fell on the red chest on the bookshelf she nearly gasped again. From the crack of the closed lid was a faint yellow glow.
Bulma: Is that really...
She walked over and grabbed the chest and sat it down on the table in eagerness. The noise having caught Goku's attention. He stopped with the wood momentarily to see Bulma open the lid to his Grandfather's chest, where he kept his most unique possession.
Goku: Hey! What do you think you're doing!? You can't go messing with other people's stuff like that!
Just as Bulma was about to reach inside, Goku grabbed the other end of the chest to take it away. But Bulma wasn't having any of that as she grabbed the front part and tried to pull it back.
Bulma: What's the big idea!?
Goku: I should be saying that! You're not allowed to go through my grandpa's things! And you were gonna steal what was inside, weren't you!?
Bulma: What!? No! You guys don't understand!
Goku: I understand alright! I understand you're a thief!
They both pulled their hardest with neither willing to budge. Though Goku was physically stronger Bulma was taller, so she tried to use all of her weight and longer reach to her advantage. They both lost their grip on the chest and flew back, crashing into a few things. Bulma shook her head and saw the Dragon Ball fly out of the chest.
She moved quickly and dived for it. She landed on the short table with it secure in her hands, before giving a sigh of relief. She wasn't too sure that these things were really that easy to break since they're magic but she's been delicate with the first two so far. She wasn't going to start taking chances now.
Y/n: What in the world is going on in here?
Goku sat up and rubbed his head, after hitting it against a wall. If he were to hit anything else it probably would've broke. Bulma looked over her shoulder to see Y/n and Gohan's dazed look at what transpired in here.
Bulma: Oh, well...um...
Bulma tried to explain, but Goku hopped up to his feet and pointed a finger at her.
Goku: Grandpa! She's bad! She's trying to steal the special ball that you always keep in your red box!
Bulma: *stands up and glared down at him* I was not trying to steal it! If you would'a just let me explain than you'd know why I wanted to see it!
Goku: Well you could've asked first at least!" Goku shot back
Gohan walked inside the house and raised both of his hands in a calming manner.
Grandpa Gohan: Now, now, there's no need to shout. Goku, I'm sure that she has a reason for her actions. We should give her a chance to explain why, don't you think?
Bulma couldn't help but stick her tongue out at Goku in a childish manner. That is until Gohan rounded on her.
Grandpa Gohan: And Bulma I think you would do well to also listen to Goku. It's rude to just rummage through other people's belongings, you know. Next time, please make sure you ask before touching anything else.
Bulma: *exclaims* What!? But...but..."
She didn't have anything to say, knowing that Gohan was right. Now it was Goku's turn to stick his tongue out at her, to which she growled lowly at.
Grandpa Gohan: But first..
Gohan went to the shelf and opened up a random box. There were small green bags lying on a purple cloth. He picked up a bag from the strings attached to its top and undid them. Tilting the bag two very white rocks fell into his palm.
Grandpa Gohan: I'll go get the food cooking and then we can discuss the issue that Ms. Bulma wishes to speak of.
He left the house to go continue with the cooking, since he already had the fish rotisserie style on some sticks just outside. With nothing else to do, but pick up the things they tripped over, Goku and Bulma waited until the fish was all ready and set up for cooking.
Y/n: So...can you tell me why you want to take grandpa's crystal ball away?
Bulma: *holds up the Four-Star Ball in her fingers* It's not a crystal ball. This is actually something called a Dragon Ball and it's a super special and powerful artifact.
Goku: *takes it in both hands and gazed at it from different angles* Really?
Bulma: *nods* That's right, kid. But I'll tell you more about them with your grandpa too. That way I won't have to tell you both the same thing twice. Well....kinda.
She did tell Goku and Y/n what they were called at least but that wasn't much of anything to be honest. She didn't even get to the good part yet.
After a few more minutes had passed, Gohan had called them out of the house, since the fish was beginning to cook. The three walked outside and sat on handmade wooden stools while the fish cooked over the pit of fire. Gohan had a nice sized cleaver to cut it and plates to lay the food on. But until it was ready to be eaten, Gohan brought up the previous issue from earlier.
Grandpa Gohan: So would you both mind telling me what happened in there? Bulma, I think you should explain yourself so that we don't believe to have misjudged you.
Bulma: *nodded* Yeah, I know. I was telling Goku and Y/n some of the reasons but it would be better if you both heard it. Now Goku...would you mind showing the trinket to Gohan?
Goku: Sure.
Goku lowered his hands to show that he was holding Gohan's Dragon Ball.
Goku: We were talking about this Grandpa. She said it was special.
Gohan took the Dragon Ball from Goku and stared at it.
Grandpa Gohan: This little thing? I found it many years ago when I was still settling myself here on Mt. Paozu. It was actually in the space where my house was, before I built it. I've never seen anything like it before. It seemed really valuable though, so I kept it as a sort of good-luck charm."
Bulma: *smirked* Oh, it's valuable alright. See...this little beauty here is called a Dragon Ball."
Y/n: A Dragon Ball?
Bulma: Yes, that's right. Here let me show you something.
She began to dig in her bag and then pulled out two more Dragon Balls. The Five and Two-Star Balls. The moment she placed those near the one Gohan was holding all three Dragon Balls started to glow as they resonated with each other. Gohan, Y/n and Goku looked at the phenomenon in awe.
Bulma: That's pretty cool, huh?
She pulled away the one with 2 stars and stopped the reaction.
Grandpa Gohan: But...if you have two of 'em than why do you want the one we have?
Bulma: See, the Dragon Balls' true power is reveled when all 7 of them a brought together. They're kinda useless by themselves. Ever since I learned about these through mythology and I even found my own Dragon Ball I've been on a search for 'em ever since. Yeah, these gems have the power to do great things. And not so great. Like if a bad person got a hold of these balls he could really reek some havoc.
Y/n: Well...what do these things do, if all seven is gathered?
Bulma placed the two she held on the ground in front of her while Gohan did the same.
Bulma: You sure you wanna know?
The Son family nodded as Bulma then begin to explain.
Bulma: Okay. Basically it's like this. The Dragon Balls are scattered all over the world. Though if someone were able to find all 7 of them and bring them together then a blazing light will fill the sky. And in that light the "Eternal Dragon" is supposed to be released from the power of the Dragon Balls, with the sole purpose of granting anyone a single wish. Whatever it is. You could even bring the dead back to life if you wanted.
When she was finished speaking, Y/n, Goku and Gohan's faces were stuck with looks of pure amazement. They never would've guess that such a thing ever existed. Of course...there was also Gohan's alien grandsons if you count them. Still, the old man couldn't believe that all these years, he was holding onto an artifact that was part of some even greater power that was beyond anybody's comprehension.
Grandpa Gohan: Incredible. How many people know about this amazing discovery?
Bulma: Honestly, not many. The truth is the four of us are some of the few people in the world that even know about the Dragon Balls, or the dragon.
Y/n: You won't mix ours up with your's, right?
Bulma: *holds up one of the DragonBalls* Don't worry. That's impossible. See each Dragon Ball has a certain number of stars in it. See, this one has 5."
Goku: *picked his up and smiled* Oh I get it! The ball grandpa found has 4 stars!
Bulma: Now you're catching on.
She couldn't help but laugh and bit and stared at her fists in excitement.
Bulma: I can't believe I already have three of the balls. If I keep this up I'll be able to wish for a boyfriend by the end of next month! This is so exciting!
Gohan blinked at Bulma and was completely speechless from the wish she wanted for herself. He face faulted off of his seat and his foot twitched a little in the air. Of ALL the things ANYONE could use this power of a magic dragon for...she wants to use it to wish...for a boyfriend!? How...ridiculous!
Grandpa Gohan: I don't think I'll ever understand teenagers.'
Y/n: *turns to his grandpa* Huh? Grandpa, what's up? You just fell.
Grandpa Gohan: *gets back onto his stool* It's...it's nothing Goku. Guess I'm having some....spontaneous back problems.
Goku: *confused; tilts his head to the right* Spo...sponti...um...what?
Bulma: It means something 'happened' out of nowhere. But anyway...you both will let me use your Dragon Ball so that I can make my wish right?"
Grandpa Gohan: *places hand on his chin; thinking* Hmm..
He couldn't really refuse the girl since it technically wouldn't be the right thing to do. He's not in any desire to make a wish of his own and Bulma's already been on this hunt for what seems like a while now. Even though the thing she wants to wish for seems like a waste to him he can't interfere with her quest. Especially since he himself has no need for the Dragon Ball.
But if what she said was true and there are other people out there that know of these relics of ancient power than there's a high possibility this is only going to get more dangerous from here on out, and he didn't think she was truly protected. Even with that gun that's attached to the back on her skirt. That wouldn't do much against a person who was capable of the fighting prowess that he possessed. He set his sights to Goku and Y/n for an instant and immediately sparked an idea.
Grandpa Gohan: Alright. I don't see any harm in it. I have no use for the Dragon Ball so letting you have it would be the better option. Especially since you're actually going to put it to use.
Bulma jumped from her seat in glee and grabbed Gohan's hands, before rapidly shaking them.
Bulma: *happy*Oh, thank you, thank you, and thank you! You don't know how great that is to hear! I really AM on a role!
She went to reach for the ball that Goku was still holding but Gohan held a hand out to her, making her stop.
Grandpa Gohan: But only on one condition. I want you to take my grandsons with you on your quest.
Bulma: What? Really?
Bulma looking to Goku who stood up from his seat and walked over to his grandfather.
Goku: Grandpa. How come you want me and Y/n to go with her? Why can't I stay here with you?
None of this was spoken in sadness of course; he was just a naturally curious boy. He understood his grandfather knew best so Goku was 100% sure that Gohan wasn't trying to get rid of them in any way. The old man was a bit clingy for that to be the case.
Grandpa Gohan: Listen my boy. I care for you and your brother deeply and I only ever wanted what was best for you two. I know that I've done a good job of raising you too, so I can trust you and your actions, no matter where you go. But you're still just boys. There's a whole world out there that you need to go discover and experience for yourselves. A life that you can't find by staying in these mountains. New Places to visit and even more people to meet. Besides I believe that you could hone your skills even more by learning from others besides just myself and fighting opponents that can push your limits. You'd learn so much more and see things that doesn't compare to pictures. I'd be very proud if you two do.
After hearing his reasoning for them to go explore outside these mountains, Goku smiled broadly.
Goku: Wow! That sounds like a lot of fun! I'll go!
Y/n: Same..
Gohan: *turns to Bulma* I hope that you don't mind this. But in case you do, I've trained my grandsons for years in the study of martial arts and put them through a lot of training. They could also act as your body guards if need be.
Bulma: Hey, that's not a bad idea. I mean having a travel partner sounds great, so I would've agreed anyway. But bodyguards that's capable of protecting me when I need it is even better. I'd be willing to take Goku and Y/n along for the ride.
Goku doesn't know what kind of deity out in the universe is listening to his wishes...but he's glad they did. If this keeps up he wouldn't even need Dragon Balls if he wanted to wish for something for himself.
Grandpa Gohan: Excellent. Now with that settled, I believe that lunch is ready. While I set it up, Goku, would you mind giving her the ball?
While he grabs a big sharp cleaver knife, and goes orking on the fish, Goku walked up to Bulma and held out his arms.
Goku: Here ya' go. We can't wait to go on this adventure with you.
She smile and took the Dragon Ball in her left hand while holding out her right to him. He stared at it for a few seconds before he grasped it with his own, in a handshake. Y/n did the same as he gave her a handshake.
Y/n: I think we'll have a fun time, Goku.
Goku: Yeah.
Grandpa Gohan:
The three then sat near the fireplace as they chowed down on the big fish.
[Timeskip]
After their lunch, it was time for the boys to go on with Bulma. Y/n and Goku started to pack whatever they need before heading out. Y/n then reached for something and pulled out a strange item with the letter "S" on it.
He was told that Grandpa Gohan found this on Y/n when he was a baby in the pod that he came from. For some reason, it held a sentimental value to him as the Saiyan/Kryptonian hybrid decided to keep it.
Y/n: Are you ready Goku?
Goku: Yeah.
The two boys then walked out of their hut just as Bulma sees them.
Bulma: Y/n, Goku, come here real quick.
Y/n: Uh, okay.
They walked over to Bulma, who held down the Dragon Radar so the two can properly look at it. She clicked the top and turned it on. Three Dragon Ball signals were at their location. Two were at the north, but seemed a bit spaced apart. One was at the east and the final one was west.
Y/n: So which Dragon Ball are we going for first?
Bulma: *points to the one that kept fading and reappearing* Well...it looks like the closest ball is right here. About 750 miles to the west.
Goku: Is that far?
Bulma: Let's just say that it's out of our walking distance. But it's a good thing we still have my car. *puts away the radar and opened up her capsule case* I was worried that ape monster might come here and destroy it. Then I wouldn't be able to get my motorcycle to escape in time, so I put it away.
Goku: Well...like we said, it never comes here.
Bulma: Precaution never hurt anyone.
Bulma pulled out her Capsule Case. She picked the one that held her car and pressed the button. Goku made sure to take a few steps back since the use of Capsules still made him a bit uneasy. Who knows what could pop out of those things one day? Though as Bulma said, all that was left from the smoke was the car that she arrived in.
Bulma: Alright! It's time we shove off!
Goku: Wait a second.
Bulma stopped and turned to him confused but soon understood why. He and Y/n had to go give Gohan a goodbye hug, to which the old man returned.
Y/n: Good bye, grandpa. We'll miss you a lot.
Grandpa Gohan: *petted their heads* I know I'll feel the same way. It's going to be pretty quiet without you two here. But don't worry about me. Our paths are going to cross again, someday. Go on now. Your adventures await you. I hope that they are very grand ones.
The two Saiyan kids separated from him and gave a big smile followed by a nod.
Goku: Right! We will! And...thank you!
He looked to Bulma and ran over to the car.
Goku: Alright! *turns to hulmaLet's go Bulma!
Y/n: Wait for me!
Goku then opened his own door into the passenger seat, moving over so Y/n can get in. With a smile of her own Bulma waved good-bye to Gohan and got inside herself. She started up the engine, which startled Goku a bit but he soon relaxed from the steady rhythm. That relaxation was short lived after Bulma zoomed ahead, taking the path that led through the rest of Mt. Paozu.
Gohan stood in his same spot with his arms behind his back. A smile graced his face as the car soon left his vision.
Grandpa Gohan: Good luck my boys. I wish you two the best of luck in your journeys. Train hard and remain compassionate to those around you. I can't wait to see what the future will hold for you.
[Timeskip]
Back with the three in the car, they had gotten considerably far out from their original location in the span of ten minutes. She had stopped right at the base of a small hill and climbed out of the car. This made Y/n and Goku get out of his side as well.
Y/n: Bulma, what's up?
The green haired girl seemed a bit embarrassed and covered his mouth with her gloved hand.
Bulma: Excuse me a minute, guys. Time for a pit stop.
Y/n: A pit stop?
Bulma: It means I have to go to the bathroom.
Y/n: Oh.
Goku: *not really understanding what it meant* Uh, okay. I'll come too.
Bulma: *instantly gets angry at Goku and clenched her fists* Oh no you won't! Don't the words 'pit stop' mean anything to you!? Stay right there!
Y/n: Just listen to her, Goku.
Goku: Okay..
Bulma then turned and was behind the boulder. Y/n and Goku meanwhile walked around the car and stood where Bulma was.
Goku: Huh? I don't get it? Why can't she just pee, right here?
Y/n: I think grandpa told us to respect women's privacy.
Goku: Oh.
Just as the two were talking, they heard Bulma screaming..
Bulma: Y/N! GOKU, COME HERE! QUICK!
Rounding the boulder, Y/n and Goku found a giant pterodactyl holding Bulma with it's and staring intently at her.
The blue haired girl was busy screaming her lungs out as the creature stared at her.
Pterodactyl: Oh, yes. You'll do nicely little girl. It's been a long time since I've had your kind before.
Bulma: W-w-w-what do you mean by that!?
Pterodactyl: *licks his lips and smirks* Oh, I think you know exactly what I mean. It's been a while since I've tasted your kind before.
Bulma: WHAT!?
Y/n: Put her Down!
The pterodactyl turned his head to see who had the nerve to tell him what to do. At the sight of Y/n, he blinked a few times before gasping.
Pterodactyl: Y/N!?
Goku tilted his head and stared closely at the pterosaur. A sudden image flashed into his head before he blinked himself and gave a smile.
Goku: Jirak? Hey...Jirak! I haven't see you in a while!
Y/n: You've gotten bigger.
Jirak just nodded in agreement with Bulma being forgotten in his tail.
Goku: What are you doing with Bulma?
Jirak: B-Bulma? *looks down to the girl in his tail* You mean this girl? Oh...uh.. *he began to sweat* I was just...introducing myself if all. Yup! That's all it was!
Y/n: Really? Cause I could've sworn that you were gonna eat her.
Jirak: *sweats nervously* I-i-i w-would never do that.
Y/n: *eyes turns red and glares; *points to his ears* Buddy, i have super hearing. Unless you want to be fried..
Y/n then used his heat vision on a large scale to blast a portion of forest trees, which proved to scare the dino.
Y/n: Let her go.
Jirak: *shakily nods* S-sure thing.
Bulma was let go, but was screaming and flapping her arms as she fell. Y/n wasted no time jumping up to her and catching her princess style. She looked at Y/n who catch her with a smile.
Y/n: You're welcome.
She looked down to see that they are floating in the air.
Bulma: Umm..Y/n..how come we are floating?
Y/n: Oh. It's because I can fly.
This brought Goku, Bulma and Jirak in shock as Goku with his jaw dropped spoke out.
Goku: WWHHAATT?!?!
Bulma: *in shock* Y-you can fly?!
Y/n: It's best explained on the drive.
He floated next to goku and set the woman down.
Y/n: I'll be right back.
He then quickly dashed towards a direction and after 5 seconds, comes back with a large fish.
Y/n: If you wanna eat something, Eat this.
Jirak's eyes sparkles as he reaches for the fish. However a quick burst of heat vision near his feet stopped him in his tracks.
Y/n: *to Jirak* Only you promise not to eat anymore humans, I'll come back with more fish for you. Sounds good?
The pterodactyl nodded rapidly and grabbed the fish.
Goku: Sorry but I need to get going. Me and Bulma are going on a big adventure and-
Bulma: Y/N! GOKU! GET YOUR TAILS IN HERE AND LET'S GO ALREADY!
The three then covered their ears
Jirak: Man. I feel sorry you gotta deal with that, guys. Hope all goes well. Jirak said,
The two boys ran around to the passenger side as Y/n got inside. Before he got into the car, Goku waved goodbye to his friend.
Goku: See ya' Jirak! I'll tell you stories about my adventures when I come back!
Jirak only nodded and flapped his wings before taking off, carrying the large fish. Might've given him a case of indescribable indigestion of he actually ate Bulma.
Goku for his part got inside the car and waited for Bulma to drive off. She was still upset about what happened so she wasn't going to be in much of a talking mood for a while.
They drove for hours on end into the day and the sun was beginning to set. Bulma couldn't help but admire the great amount of tie that they had made and figured it would do well to rest up for the rest of the night. Also they were both hungry and haven't eating since they left. So Bulma figured it was time to set up camp. Or better yet bring her Capsule House back out for them to use.
Now Goku or Y/n wasn't worried anymore about her use of the Dino Caps, though he always did wonder what other sort of contraptions were inside the rest of them. They was very curious about all of the applications and items inside of the portable building, but Goku recognized some of them like the television, oven and the like from those magazines.
Though he had to admit...like the car actually seeing the things in work was such a different experience.
Bulma had Goku take a bath after she caught the foul odor that was coming from him.
Things were going smoothly at first...at least...as smoothly as they could for boys without modern cleaning habits. But they real shocked came to Bulma when she found his tail was actually attached to his body. That would officially make this her third massive freak out in only two days. Anymore and her spirit would more than likely fly from her body.
When she asked why he had one in the first place he replied:
Goku: I don't know. My grandpa said I was born with it but he's not sure since he found me and ny brother in the forest. But i think me and Y/n the only ones that has a tail.
Bulma didn't know what to think about that. She tried to rack her brain for any kinds of possibilities as to why that Goku or Y/n was the result of some kinda gene-splicing experiment...or maybe he was naturally half monkey? She shuddered at that one and hoped that wasn't the case.
If anything else, they didn't look like a monkey so that assumption was probably completely wrong in the first place. The boys was one big mystery. Later at night, Goku left to go forge for his own food since he didn't really have a taste for anything that Bulma was providing.
Bulma: He can be so savage, sometimes.
Y/n: We were raised in the woods, so you truly cannot blame him.
[Night-time]
As the three prep for bed, Bulma then remembered how Y/n caught her while floating in the air.
Bulma: Wait, Y/n. I remember you saying that you can fly. You never told us about that.
Goku: Yeah. How did you learn that?
Y/n: Well.. it sorta went like this..
[Flashback!]
Y/n was alone in a terrain as he wanted to try out what else he can do.
Y/n: Okay. This place should be good enough.
The martial arts training by his grandfather was good, but he wanted to see what else his body can do. He doubt Goku can use Heat Vision like he can, so Y/n thought that he could do much more. The only way he could know..is keep testing his limits.
Y/n: Okay..
He looked up towards the sky and gets into a jumping position and before you know it, he started jumping very high and gaining distance from where he originally started at. This next jump, he had his arms stretched forward, almost like of he was trying to fly.
Y/n: Come on, come on! *feels himself sinking down to the ground* Whoa! WWWWWHHHHHOOOOAAA!!
Y/n covered his face with his arms as he crashed throug a pair of large mountains before hitting the ground hard, forming a large crater. He then get up and crawled out.
Y/n: That was uncomfortable..
The only thing he saw that got damaged was his clothes. Other than that, he's perfectly okay. Y/n looked towards the sky, seeing that the sun was within his grasp. There, the warm rays of a white, winter sun burned through him like liquid metal, nourishing and healing. The Hybrid Saiyan brought his feet together, facing the bright sun.
Y/n stretched out his arms, as if he could hold the sun in the arms. His palms faced outwards, towards the bright ball of warmth and life. A shudder of awe went through his body, and his eyes closed. Something incredible was about to happen.
Y/n: Wow.
Y/n then slowly gets on his knees and starts to focus on his energy. The ground beneath him started to shake as small rocks started to rise up by themselves. As soon as the boy clenched his fists, he jumped up and rose to the air, for the very first time..flying.
Y/n: WWWHHOOHOOOO!!!
Y/n with a happy look soared through the air faster than a bullet. He flew past the forest, the outlands, the ocean, past flew dinosaurs which he may or may not have scared them shitless. He then decided to push it further by flying beyond the atmosphere of Earth. Exiting the blue skies and into the nightly skies of outer space, he took a stop and turned around to see the planet he resided all this years.
Y/n: *eyes sparkle* Whoa..Planet Earth looks amazing.
Y/n's attention was then turned to the one Star that centers the Solar System of this universe: The Sun
Y/n: The Sun...
Y/n then felt that the air is thinner away from Earth. He then flew down to the planet, inhaled a large portion of oxygen and held his breath before flying towards the glowing gigantic ball of hot plasma. Upon reaching the sun(although not too close), Y/n can feel the intense heat radiating from the giant sphere. He also felt tremendous energy pouring inside of him as the sun's rays shined into him.
Y/n: *thinking* Whoa.. I'm getting more stronger.
As much as he would like to bask into the sunlight more, it was time to go back to home planet.
Y/n: *thinking* I better head back to planet Earth.
Y/n then flew back down to the planetbat breakneck speeds.
[With Grandpa Gohan]
The old man was watering since plants near his hut as Goku was sleeping. He then felt a strong gust of wind and a large thud, causing grandpa Gohan to fall on his butt. Shockingly, Goku remains asleep.
Y/n: Hey, grandpa. I'm back.

Grandpa Gohan looked in shock as what his grandson had said.
Grandpa Gohan: Flew? You actually learn to fly?
Y/n: *smiles* That's right. Watch this!
Y/n bent to the ground and then took off to the skies. The old man watched as Y/n flies in the sky for a few seconds before landing back to the ground, startling the old man.
Grandpa Gohan: A-amazing! And wait..did you fly into the sun?
Y/n: Not into it. Otherwise, I would be naked. But when I was near it. I felt so much power flowing into me. Like the sun itself was recharging my energy.
Grandpa Gohan: *chuckles* Okay. I won't tell your brother about this. I'll let you show him at your time.
Y/n: Awesome.
Grandpa Gohan: Also, let's get you some new clothing. We cannot have you running naked.

Y/n: Maybe when we wake up tomorrow.
Goku: Yay! *goes to his sleeping bag and instantly falls asleep*

Y/n: I guess you can say that. We should head to sleep now.
Y/n was about to go sleep next to his stepbrother, but Bulma grabbed his arm.
Bulma: Actually..I would like it if you sleep next to me.
Y/n started to feel flustered as his face heat up a bit.
Y/n: Umm.. are you sure?
Bulma: *nods* Please?
Y/n: Okay.. if you are okay with it.
The Saiyan Hybrid then got onto the bed with Bulma. She wrapped the blanket on themselves as they laid down, facing away from one another.
Y/n: Can't wait to find the next dragon ball with you.
Bulma: I feel the same.
Y/n: Goodnight, Bulma.
As the young man gets ready to close his eyes, he felt arms wrapping around him.
Y/n: Hmm?
Bulma: I never thanked you for saving me.
Y/n: Your my friend. I'll be dammed if you were hurt or eaten.
Bulma smiled sweetly and pecked him on his cheek.
Bulma: That means a lot. *snuggles onto him* Night.
Y/n: Night.
Both of them closed their eyes as they went to sleep.
