Faster than lightning Tajna was up on her leg sprinting to the rocks where Jin was standing while more and more shapes of huge werewolves wearing silver furs were appearing out of the snow.
"Tanja!" Jin turned when she was panting running to almost slip over the rocks. The pack circling them in when a tall young man approached.
"Husband of prince Jung, you have invaded our land," he spoke with a low melodic voice. His face completely covered by the fur hood only the armory he had on glittering in the raising daylight.
Tanja gasped reaching Jin to cling to his side.
"You had brought more intruders too," the man took two steps their way and Tanja raised her sword ready to fight him. "You may not know, but king Jung was afraid of our power, never wanted to give my pack our land instead he has forced up to live here up the mountains so now everyone of your kind who crosses out border is dead."
The crowd around them thickened when behind the first trees fell cut off by mutants.
"Son, who have you caught?" A woman with hip long completely white hair came in and all the warriors around her bowed muttering 'queen.'
"It's day of revenge as we have the husband of the future king," said the man turning to her when Tanja's blood boiled.
"Jin has never hurt any of you, yet you want to punish him for his father in law's actions. Who are you to do it, can't you see that we're her trapped. Our plane has been shoot down, we're chased by a herd of mutants and we need hel..."
The man turned lifting his head to look straight at her with ice blue eyes and all words stopped in her mouth, especially when his eyes lit up red, her inner wolf whimpering in anxiety, a tiny voice at the back of her head whispered 'mate.'
Tanja was standing there frozen as if in that one moment the world has ended, her skin all cold goosebumps when Jin was watching her in shock.
"Let's kill them son," the queen spoke, but the man lifted his hand walking their way and Tanja looked away, hear heart banging more than ever before.
The icy air carrying a fresh scent of hail and sandalwood her way messing her up completely.
The man stopped so close she could almost feel the silver fur of his coat brushing her hand.
"What is your name?" He asked.
"Tanja, I'm a soldier, my mission is to protect Jin," she was speaking with her head down afraid to make eye contact again.
"Son?" The queen raised her voice.
"Mother, those two are under my protection," the man turned when Tanja was still standing there feeling so odd.
My mate is the prince of the Lost Pack from the Forbidden Mountains, what now?
Jin's hand tangled around her palm as if he wanted to give her some reassurance.
"Men!" The young man raised his voice. "We have a pack of mutants to take care of!" They we're like shadows falling between the trees to mix with snow and meet the coming wolves.
The queen standing there watching them when Tanja wished to disappear.
"You're my son's mate," spoke the queen. "That changes a lot."
"I..." Tanja gasped, her heart banging in her throat, she wasn't ready to have a mate yet or at all.
"Queen, Tanja is still very young she definitely needs time to adjust to the news," Jin was still holding her hand firmly.
"Who is she to you?" Asked the queen.
"She's like a best friend and a daughter to me."
Tanja's heart was banging, but a howl rang and two mutants jumped off the rocks falling on the queen, she reacted before thinking taking her sword to be quicker than wind and block the bent sword of the first pushing him off the rock while making a flip in the air and slicing the next. There was a battle going on between the trees and battles were what she was made for so she sprinted that way meeting enemies on the way seeing her mate fighting some. Their eyes met briefly and he smiled to himself, her heart speeding up uncontrollably, as he was definitely everything she had always wished for in a man. New mutants coming so she was fighting until someone collided with her and she looked up to see those blue eyes.
"I'm taking this one, you're the other two," he winked when Tanja nodded trying her best to concentrate on the battle and here and now, but slaying mutants has never been so exciting.
"Who are you?" The speaking oak raised those bark brows piercing his gaze through Piki, who took two steps back.
"My name is Piki, I'm a werewolf, came to explore the Magical Forest."
"Piki, that's a funny name for a werewolf," Mr. Oak laughed like only a huge 600 years old oak could laugh, it was so deep all acorn began to fall on the grass.
"I don't find anything funny in my name," Piki closed his fists stomping.
The oak needed long moments to get over the laughter his leaves turned all orange from it.
"So tell me Piki are you an alpha, beta or an omega?" The big branch finger pointed at him poking his chest.
"Auch, Mr. Oak, you're not very nice!"
"Answer my question."
"Does it matter?" Piki crossed his arms, he was a very little werewolf how could he know.
Mr. Oak opened his mouth and raised his eyes open.
"Does it matter? Does it matter? Do you know anything about the world?"
Right, do you know anything about the world, whispered Jimin noiselessly closing Werewolf Mythology and placing on the floor.
The golden prisms of the raising day were reaching all over the stained glasses of The Citadel, creating a cathedral of colors, a sanctuary of beauty, that today couldn't move his soul though.
It has been unbearable, those long hours of being stuck here so he was reading for his pup about werewolf Piki and his adventures in the Magical Forest, what has been Lola and Lila's favorite story.
Have Jin and Tanja been found and rescued by Hoseok, has Yoongi killed Taehyung, was Jungkook... alive. Was he human or beast?
Maybe I will read some more, Jimin sighed reaching for the book, but the moment his fingertips touched the used cover there was a crack, the metal construction turned, endless clockworks rolling to lift the bars of the cage up the tower. Jimin was lying still observing his prison opening, but was he able to go out and face what was left after the red moon.
Be courageous, even if it's just you against Taehyung, the beast and an army of mutants you will lead you last battle proudly, like grandfather has thought you, like your parents.
Jimin sniffed caressing over the belly that was slowly a little bit round.
"I love you little pup and I'm sorry," he whispered before getting up.
The room spun so he grabbed the edge of the couch for hold.
There was grandfather's sword still resting against the wall, Jimin was slowly approaching to glide his fingers over the golden emblem on the handle.
The old metal door cracked, the sun blended him and for a second he couldn't see anything just feel the ocean breeze hitting his face and ruffling his hair, then the beach became clearer. Soft waves were glinting in the raising day, all so in contrast to the anxiety banging inside him, especially as there were two figures standing right on the main path leading to The Citadel. Jimin's heart one mess as the one standing tall right next to his biggest enemy was his mate.
