Hawk and I walked into the roller rink with Miguel by our side.
"Did you like the movie then?" he asked Hawk.
"Oh yeah, it was great," he laughed slightly.
"What?" he looked at him.
"We got a bit distracted if you know what I mean," he winked before running off.
"Hawk!" I shouted.
"I shouldn't have asked, I should have closed my ears," he said sounding traumatised.
"Yeah come on let's just go and find Tory," I smiled at him while changing the subject.
"She's there," he pointed out.
"With Sam and Robby?" I looked at him confused while walking over.
"Hey, what time do you go on break? I wanted to time it out so the fries are extra crispy," Miguel asked while we walked up to her.
"Hi," I looked at Robby, while ignoring Sam.
"Nice costume, Charlie from Top Gun?" he looked at me knowingly.
"Of course," I span on my spot.
"No Maverick?" Sam retorted.
"He's somewhere," I looked around for Hawk.
"I dig your costumes," Miguel told them.
"Thanks," Sam replied bluntly.
"Uh, Tory, this is Sam and Robby," Miguel pointed to each person.
"Yeah, we met already, Dylan and Sam had a little run in at the beach club and I just so happened to be there," she rolled her eyes.
"So, how do you two know each other?" Sam asked curiously.
"Tory's in Cobra Kai," Miguel sighed.
"And they're dating," I blurted out.
"Figures," Sam rolled her eyes.
"What was that?" Tory cocked her head.
"Nothing," Sam shook her head.
"All right, I've got to get back to work, see you later babe," Tory grabbed Miguel's face and kissed him.
I smiled proudly at the girl as she skated off and Hawk ran over.
"Hey," he ran behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Come on, let's go get some skates," Robby pulled Sam gently by the arm away from the three of us.
"That was awkward," I raised my eyebrows.
"Tell me about it," Miguel sighed.
"I'm shit at roller blading by the way, just a pre warning," I told the two while we put our skates on.
"We're not going to have to hold your hands are we?" Miguel laughed.
"I was going to do that anyway," Hawk shrugged.
"Just because we're on a date doesn't mean you get to be all touchy," I turned to the boy.
"It's my only chance though," he sighed.
"Aw, just let him, look how sad he is," Miguel joked while Hawk pouted.
"Fine, but I do think both of you will need to hold me
up," I shook my head.
"Come on then," the boys said in unison while standing up and holding their hands out for me.
I grabbed onto them both.
"Fuck," I said, nearly falling over.
"We aren't even on the floor yet, let's go," Hawk said excitedly while dragging me along.
"Stop I'm going to fall," I shouted.
Miguel skated by my side and laughed.
"Hawk!" I shouted at him again.
"Can't hear you, I'm too busy being Maverick," he pulled us onto the floor, Miguel dragging behind.
"It's so slippery can we go back on the carpet?" I begged.
"Nope," Hawk ignored me.
"Come on Charlie," Miguel joined in, skating ahead of me and dragging me along.
"No no, I'm getting off I can't do this," I shook my head while crouching down.
"Get up now," Hawk turned his head to look at me.
"No, I can't," I shook my head.
"Dylan," Miguel cocked his head.
"Fine," I pulled my body upwards and the boys started dragging me again.
"You two are the worst!" I shouted as they pulled me past Robby and Sam, who had just kissed right in front of me.
"Did not want to see that," Hawk pretended to be sick.
"Hawk, don't," Miguel turned to him, slowing his pace so he was beside me.
"Fine," he scoffed before letting go of my hand and skating off.
"Is he taking the piss?" I breathed heavily.
"You can do it with just me," Miguel laughed.
"No I can't," I shook my head.
"Oh, well, looks like I'm going to have to leave you," he let go of my hand and left me in the middle of the floor, alone.
"Fuck," I muttered to myself.
"Having some trouble?" Sam laughed mockingly at me.
"Fuck off LaRusso," I turned to her.
"Sam don't," Robby begged.
"Here, I'll give you a boost," she pushed my back, cashing me to fall forward onto the floor.
"Why?" Robby scoffed before skating in front of me and helping me up.
"That's so embarrassing," I sighed "Can you just take me to the side?" I asked him.
I felt Sam's eyes burning into the back of my head as Robby spoke to me.
"Come on," he grabbed both my hands, and skated backwards to the side with me gripping onto him.
"Thanks," I shook my head in embarrassment.
"I'm sorry about Sam," he sighed.
"She'll get what's coming for her," I scoffed before pulling the skates off of my feet and walking away from him.
I walked over to the skate area and got in the queue to hand my skates back.
"Are you following me LaRusso?" I asked as I saw her in my peripheral vision.
"My skate broke," she rolled her eyes.
Then Miguel turned up.
"Hey," he said, clearly aiming it at Sam, I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want?" Sam scoffed.
"My skates are definitely too big, nearly fell over out there," he laughed "Look, about Tory," he shook his head.
"I can't believe you could be with a girl like that," she looked up at Miguel.
"A girl like that? I'm sorry are you not the one who just pushed me over in the middle of the floor? If anything you're worse than Tory," I defended the girl.
"You don't even know her," Miguel scoffed.
"I know enough," she ignored my comment.
"Don't fucking ignore me LaRusso, you know you're just as bad, if not worse," I threw the skates onto the counter and stormed off.
"Woah, slow down speedy," Hawk stopped me by grabbing my shoulders.
"What?" I asked him bluntly.
"Hey what's up?" he looked at me concerned.
"The sky, dickhead," I pushed him off me and walked over to the bar where Tory was serving some customers.
"Sam's a shit talking bitch, she just tried to make you look like a bad person," I scoffed once the customers had moved.
"I hate her guts," she shook her head angrily.
"I can't fucking stand her," I sighed.
"Come on," Tory grabbed my arm and pulled me to where Sam was just getting up after tying her skates.
I stood and watched as Tory skated past her, pushing her aggressively to the floor.
"Oops, sorry Princess," Tory stifled her laugh as I walked past, just after she had skated past the girl and kicked her in her side.
Robby looked at me with shock while he helped the girl up. Sam skated aggressively towards Tory before tripping her up, causing the food on her tray to spill everywhere.
Just as she did, Miguel turned the corner with Hawk by his side.
I ran over to Tory and helped her up, smirking at her.
"Good timing," I whispered.
"What the hell, Sam!" Miguel exclaimed angrily.
"What me? I... she's the one," she began talking.
"Are you okay Tory?" the security guard asked while she held her head.
"Thanks," she turned to me.
"All right, you're done, you're out," the security guard shouted.
"She's the one who started it," Robby pointed to Tory.
"He said you're done, pretty boy, you better be on your way," Hawk walked over to Robby, getting in his face.
"Hawk, don't, you'll only get yourself kicked out as well," I grabbed the boys hand, which he immediately pulled from my grip.
"You're out," the security guard shouted again as the two walked away, hand in hand, defeated.
I looked at Tory as she smirked at Sam while she looked back.
"Tory, come here, let me see your head," Miguel moved closer to the girl.
"I'm alright babe, I promise," she kissed him before skating off back to the bar.
"You good?" I asked Hawk.
"I can't believe you're actually friends with him," Hawk ran his tongue across his cheek.
"You know, he actually helped me out there, you know when both of you left me?" I shouted, pointing between the two boys.
"What?" Miguel looked at me confused.
"When you two skated off, Sam and Robby appeared, she pushed me, I fell, he helped me up," I told them "And that's your fault, have fun finding a way home," I shook my head while walking out of the roller rink and to my car.
I was angry at both of them, but mainly Hawk. Why was he being like that with me, all because I'm Robby's friend.

The morning of the party, I headed to the Cobra Kai dojo to get some practice in.
"You're here early on a Saturday morning," Kreese stood in the doorway as I practiced my moves.
"It's like one PM now, not early anymore," I shrugged. while punching the air.
"You've been here for nearly four hours now Ellis, what's going on?" he asked as he walked over and placed hand guards on for me to use.
"Sam LaRusso," I shook my head as I kicked his hand.
"Ah, the LaRusso girl," he nodded.
"I hate her fucking guts, she's going to get what's coming for her I swear to god," I aggressively punched the pads.
"She will, don't you worry about it though Ellis, you might be off probation now, but it's just as easy to get sent back to juvie," he looked at me and put his hands down.
I stopped practicing and looked at him.
"I want to give her she deserves though," I turned to the punching bag and used that instead.
"You've done well not to do it, you're using what you've learnt, Ellis," he stood behind me "You the strongest fighter in this dojo now, but nobody knows that, only me and you, you can use that to your advantage," he grabbed my shoulder to stop me.
"So it's finally paying off, all this extra training," I scoffed "I felt like it wasn't working."
"It's worked, Dylan, and will continue to work if you commit yourself to this dojo fully," he cocked his head.
"I already am?" I furrowed my brows.
"You're not, you need to stop seeing the Keene boy," he looked down at me.
"No," I told him.
"If you want to continue training at this dojo, I suggest you get rid of the boy," his nostrils flared before walking away from me.
I turned and kicked the dummy as hard as I could before falling to the floor, and laying there, looking at the lights.
Was I really going to drop Robby?
