Y/n pov:

I opened my eyes to a wall, feeling cold after being warm from that same dream. I realized I wasn't in the kitchen. I was in my bedroom.

"How long was I asleep??" I asked myself grabbing my phone.

It was 12:36 in the afternoon on Friday. "Shit!!" I had missed school.

I got out of bed and ran downstairs, where my brother was sitting on the couch in the living room, watching TV.

"Oh hey, finally woke up huh?" Jack said.

"Why didn't you wake me up for school?!" I exclaimed.

"Yo chill! Mom said to let you sleep, since you looked like you haven't slept in a long time." Jack explained.

I rubbed my eyes. "Oh."

"If you wann go back to sleep you can." Jack suggested.

"No, I kinda just wanna sit with you." I said sitting down next to him.

Jack chuckled. "Wanna lay on my lap?"

"If you promise not to give me a wet willy." I replied.

"I promise, I have cotton mouth right now anyway." Jack laughed.

I layed my head on his lap, and he started stroking my hair. Just like when we were little.

"You got anymore?" I asked referring to the Weed my brother had obviously smoked.

"Y/n! Are you asking for my Mary jane?!! The goody too shoes?!!" Jack said, with a sarcastic tone.

"Shut up Jack! I just feel like it right now." I replied.

"I got some edibles left, would you like those?" He asked.

"Yeah hand them over." I answered.

He gave me three small squares of candy wrapped up tightly. I took the pink one, hoping it was watermelon or strawberry. Then I started using my teeth to open it. Once it opened I put it in my mouth and chewed the weirdly good tasting candy.

"How many things is it?" I asked, putting the rest in my pocket.

"Only 20...or 40...I can't remember." Jack replied.

"I guess I'll find out." I said watching whatever was playing on the TV.

After about 15 minutes later I get a message on my phone. I sat up and looked at it.

Wends._spam: Are you not here today?

Of course Wendy was asking, she really seemed to care about me as a friend. It was weird, but it felt nice.

Y/n_insta: Yeah, sorry. My mom let me sleep in bc I looked "tired".

Wends._spam: you're still going to the party right?

Y/n_insta: Yes Wendy, I am.

Wends._spam:Yay! I was afraid you were changing your mind.

I was kinda forced anyway

Y/n_insta: Nope, my plans are still the same.

"Did mom tell you I was going to Stan's birthday party?" I asked my brother, taking my eyes off my phone.

"Something like that." He replied, wiping his big ass nose.

"Dont tell her but I'm going to a secret one after." I said.

Jack stopped looking dumb, and turned towards me and put on a serious face.

"What?" He said.

"Ugh stop. I've never had friends ask me to a party, and im not going to do anything stupid." I replied.

"Y/n...I did the same shit and thats how I did drugs, and that shit is so bad." Jack replied.

"Jack. I'm not stupid. I know what I'm doing. Plus I'm helping Stan get himself a boyfriend." I said smirking.

"Boyfriend.....? Stan is gay?" Jack said, shocked.

"I know right! I had the same reaction. Well not really but yeah!" I said, excitedly.

Jack looked at me a little strange. I giggled. "What?"

"They're starting to kick in." Jack chuckled.

I started laughing. And I couldn't stop, why? Nothing was funny. Once I stopped, I looked up at Jack. "Holt shit." I said smiling.

Jack looked at me like I was crazy, but he had a smile on his face.

"I feel so....so....different." I said, standing up.

"It was 40." Jack mumbled to himself.

I giggled and walked over to the stairs. They looked so big. And tried taking a step, but I felt just a little off. Next thing I knew I was hugging onto the wall making sure I wouldn't fall. Slowly put surely i got up the stairs and in my bedroom. I took a deep breath. My nicely cold room. I wanted to lay down. I suddenly realized I could hear everythung so well. My heart was beating loudly. I could hear the wind and birds outside. I could hear myself think, it was strange. And at first I thought I was faking being high...but then I realized how can it be fake? I sat on my bed and thought about picking out the clothes for Stan's party.

School ends at 2:30, and his first party starts at 3:00 then ends at 4:00, the the "secret" party starts at 6:00 and ends at 9:00, or whenever you get horribly bored. And I think stan only so many people were going to be at the first one, like close friends? I couldn't remember. So I got up and walked towards my closet. I knew my mom was going to make me wear something formal, or she would want me to. So I pick out a turtle neck and some flare Jean's. Then I folded them nice and neatly on my dresser. "3:00" I repeated out loud. My dad used to get off work at 3:00 and then me and Stan would hang out after I would cuddle and hug him like he was going to leave me one day...and he did but...3:00.......it was our special time.....

"3....o'clock" I said again.

"I wonder if you appear at 3:00 still." I whispered to myself.

Did I just talk to my dad? I must be crazy. Not crazy just high. Heard it makes your pain go away. Then why am I talking about my dad? And smiling?! I couldn't help but giggle at my own thoughts. I was yelling at myself for feeling sad, yet happy. Maybe this is why my brother smokes. Maybe my dads death did a huge number on him. When I was very little they used to fight, and he blamed me for the reason dad didn't hang out with him anymore. Poor Jack. I'm sorry I got in the way.

Timeskippp

I woke up, must-have fell asleep. I grabbed my phone. It was 1:58. My mom was going to be getting home soon, since she was going to help with Stan's birthday. I got up, and walked towards the stairs. My heart started beating loud again. Was I still high?

"Jack!" I called, taking some step down the stairs.

No one answered. "Jack? Are you not here?"

Once I got down the stairs I started looking around, I could see he wasn't in the kitchen, or living room. I didn't want to go back up stairs to his room.

"JACK!" I yelled, maybe he didn't hear me.

The front door opened behind me, and I turned to my beautiful mother.

"Mama!" I exclaimed.

"Hey. Jack isn't here, he went to a 'friends' house. So stop yelling." My mother said taking off her coat and hanging it up.

I laughed softly to her putting quotations on the word friends.

"So when do you want me to get ready?" I asked.

"Right now, I want to go early, before Miss. Cartman gets there." She said, giving me that look.

I smiled, and walked up stairs.

"Please wear something nice....not sweats and a hoodie." My mom reminded.

"I know mama, I picked some out already." I replied, still walking up the stairs.

I could hear the creeks of the wood underneath the carpet on our stairs. My breath was getting louder as well. I was still high. When I fell asleep I must have just stop the process, or was so focused on sleeping. Once I got to the door of my bedroom, I stepped in slowly. Wishing my room was pretty or one of those aesthetic rooms. It felt boring to me. I wanted to fit in with everyone else.

I looked to the side, my desser was the only thing that was different and unique. My dad bought it for me. I was like someone inside a Barbie doll house. White and pink, with some yellow. It had a mirror, and an area for a TV if I wanted. I just used it for my clothes. Nothing else was on it...besides the old tape from the picture I used to have on it. A picture of everyone. Me, Braden, Kaden, James, Jack, Mom, and Dad. Little Amelia wasn't born yet. I took the picture off years ago, I gave it to my mom, and she keeps it in her purse. I snapped out of my thoughts and grabbed the clothes, and closed my door.

Once I got it all on, I looked at myself in the mirror. What stan said to me was replaying in my head.

"You're not fat, Cartman is. You're beautiful, and I know your father would've told you that right now if he were here."

Maybe he was right, maybe my dad would think that. And maybe I wasn't fat....and was beautiful...

"Honey? Are you ready?" I heard my mom call from downstairs.

"I...uh yeah! Let me just throw my shoes on." I called back.

I grabbed some high top vans and slipped them on quickly. Then I ran downstairs.

"Yes! I'm ready now!"

My mom looked at me unsure. "Your hair." She said.

I touched my hair. "What? Is something wrong?"

"You didn't brush it?" She asked.

"Oh, I guess I forgot about it." I replied.

"I know Sharon has some hair stuff, I'll do your hair there." My mom said, opening the front door.

I was going to protest, but then I realized. I probably had nappy hair. I followed my mom to the car.

Time of the skip

Once we were at Stan's house, I could tell we were early, no cars were there not even the one Stan's dad owned. My mom turned off the car.

"Alright let's go." My mom said excited.

My mom was more happy about this then I was, she missed Sharon, but didn't know how to talk to her without it being awkward.

I got out of the car, and looked up to Stan's bedroom window. I could picture all the times we threw rocks or toys out that very window. Then I looked at the front door, remember all the times randy and my dad would be standing there talking. I could feel tears forming, I just closed my eyes. Once I calmed down I looked at my mother. She was doing the same thing. Probably picturing the time she would sit on the porch with Sharon waving bye as their husband's drove to work together. I smiled, and walked towards her grabbing her arm.

"Let's go." I said softly.

She smiled and walked forward, and I knocked on the door.

Not even a minute later Sharon opened the door.

"Chloe!" Sharon said.

My mom hugged Sharon in response. My moms real name was Charlie, but she thought it sounded to much like a boy name. So she went with Chloe.

(Yall I had to come up with a random fucking name for the mom 😭🔫, I forgot she needed one tbh💀)

"Oh, and Y/n. You're so gorgeous." Sharon said.

I smiled in response.

"Oh, come in, come in." Sharon said stepping aside.

I step inside looking around. Nothing had really changed. Except maybe the picture hung on the wall. Pictures of weed framed, and ones of Shelly graduating, and Stan's baseball tournament pictures. My dad used to say, "Even though the moment happened, having a picture makes it clearer. But it will only truly mean something when you can remember it and laugh." I used to think my dad was silly for saying such things.

"Would you like to help me with the cooking, Chloe?" Sharon asked my mother.

"Yeah, of course." My mom said looking at me.

"Y/n, Stan and randy are in the backyard setting up seats and things, you can go there if you like."

"Alright, thank you Mrs. Marsh." I said, walking towards the back door.

I opened it, and there it was through backyard that held all of our adventures. Stan was helping his dad put chairs up. I walked outside a closed the door behind me and watched for a moment.

"Can you please move." I heard a female voice say.

I turned to my left and saw a tall light brown haired female, with a slightly taller dirty blonde boy. This was Shelly, and the boy looked like a more matured version of Kenny. I stepped aside.

"Sorry."

Shelly and the boy walked into the house. The tall blonde boy gave me a smile. And I was in shock. Was it Kenny? But Kenny would have his parka on.

"Oh y/n! You're early." I heard Stan say.

I looked in his direction. "Yeah, you know my mom." I said.

"Don't mind Shelly and her boyfriend, have you seen him before? He's Kenny's brother, Kevin." Stan explained to me.

"I never knew Kenny had a brother." I said.

"Me neither. But he lives with us now. Shelly had to convince my parents." Stan replied.

I hummed in response. I could see Randy walking towards us.

"Hello, Mr. Marsh." I said giving a warm smile. I always liked Randy when I was younger. He would pick me up while I would pull his ears.

Randy looked at me with an uncomfortable expression, and walked pass me into the kitchen. I frowned. I knew it would be awkward.

"Uhm...did something happen?" Stan asked.

"I don't know. Maybe it has to do with my dad..." I said looking at the ground.

Stan grabbed my arm. "Dude let's go in the tree house." He said, trying to change the subject.

I smiled. "I haven't gone in that thing in years."

"That's why we need to go now!" He said, tugging at my arm.

I laughed and decided to go.

Third persons pov

Chloe watched from the kitchen window, as her daughter walked towards the old tree house with Stan Marsh.

"Randy, what was that about?" Sharon asked Randy who was sitting in the dinning room table.

Chloe continued to prep meals and not paying attention to the couple next to her.

"What was what, Sharon." Randy answered.

"You just ignored y/n when she said hello." Sharon explained.

This is when Chloe decided to involve herself.

"I'm sure he has a reason, my Husband's death was hurtful for us all." Chloe said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Hurtful." Randy scuffed.

Chloe was going to protest, but then she realized, she came here to face her fears, to hang out with old friends. Sharon turned to look at her dear friend.

"Wanna start that cake?" Sharon asked.

Chloe smiled and nodded in response.
Randy couldn't help but feel horrible. "If only she knew." He said to himself. Randy got up and walked towards the stairs.

Back to y/n's pov

I laughed at the joke Stan had made towards how huge Cartman was. Stan looked out the window of the tree house and I looked with. I saw a familiar car driving slowly, as if it was pulling into Stan's driveway. I realized it was Kyle's parents car. I looked at stan who was now blushing.

"Stan Marsh! Are you blushing, just watching him pull up?" I teased.

"Shhhh y/n, what if someone heard that!" He said pushing me away.

I laughed. "Oh shut up you're just embarrassed."

"What? Me? Never." He said sitting down facing me.

"What will you do when Kyle goes up the stairs to this very tree house?" I questioned.

"Act normal like always. No reason not to." Stan said trying to make his red face disappear.

I laughed again. "What will you, when he feels the same?" I asked, in a serious tone.

"When who feels the same?" We heard a voice say towards the entrance on the tree house.

I looked to see the pale freckled face boy, making his way inside.

"UH- you know- feel the same about....DRINKING!" Stan said.

I looked at him confused.

"What?" Kyle asked.

"You know the party is going to have alcohol, and if you would feel the same about drinking." Stan explained.

Kyle brushed off his clothes, and sat criss cross.

"Stan, I don't drink." Kyle said plain and clear.

"Yeah, but there's always that chance." Stan stated.

I stay there awkwardly.

"Why are you up here anyway? Its so dirty." Kyle said looking at me.

"I'm Kyle-"

"I know." I interrupted.

Kyle looked at me awkwardly, and I gave the same energy.

"Sorry, its just, I've known you since what? Thirddd? Yeah I think third grade." I explained.

"Oh, yeah. Stan would talk about you sometimes. Y/n right? Nice to meet you." Kyle explained.

"Nice to meet you to." I said smiling.

"Alright guys, come out and eat, Kenny and Cartman are here!" Sharon yelled from the bottom of the tree.

"Alright!" Stan yelled back.

Stan made his way down, and Kyle followed. I sat there for a moment and looked around. I'm leaving this place once again. As I started going down the steps, I could hear Cartman talking about nonsense.

"And....wait, guys what the fuck." Cartman said as I got out of the tree.

I brushed off my clothes, and looked up to Cartman staring at me with an intense look. I was a bit confused. Then Kyle and Stan looked at me, just as confused.

"What?" I mumbled.

"Stan, you said the only girl would be Wendy for the first party."

Stan sighed. "Cartman, shut up and just deal with it." Stan started walking towards the door.

"Dude! Thats unfair." Cartman said following him.

Kyle followed Stan while, I stood there awkwardly. I was looking at the group as they started walking towards the door, until I realized Kenny wasn't. He was just watching, with his hands in his pockets.

It was quiet, and when I went to go take a step Kenny spoke.

"Did you tell your mom?" Kenmy asked.

"Wha...what?" I asked.

Kenny looked at me, with his mouth piece unattached.

I admired his face a little before I processed what he was asking me.

"Oh...no I haven't." I replied.

Kenny stood there looking at me. "You should atleast tell someone." He said walking away, towards the door.

I was froze, until I saw my mom waiting for me at the door.

I walked towards it and watched as Kenny went inside, my mom smiled at him and turned to me again. Once I got to her she smiled with her amazing warm smile.

"Your friend Kenny is so nice." She whispered to me.

I was confused, "what?" I asked.

"When he introduced himself to me, he said I was beautiful. It made me feel nice." My mom explained.

I cringed a little. I knew this guy was a hoe, but my mom? Seriously?

"Whatever mom." I chuckled.

We walked inside closing the door behind us.

I saw all grown ups in the living room, and the rest of us in the kitchen. Wendy and Tolkien and joined us. Wendy walked pass Kenny and threw her arms up and around my shoulder and neck, and hugged me tightly.

"I'm so glad you're here." She paused. "You weren't at school, so I was just afraid you changed your mind." Wendy continued, breaking the hug and looking too deep into my eyes.

"Wendy, didn't I promise?" I asked, smiling.

She sighed, then giggled a little turning around. "Sorry guys I get so emotional."

Everyone in the group just looked at Wendy like they didn't give a care. Tolkien sat down at the dining room table and soon after did Wendy. The only chair left was the one in between Kenny and Cartman I sat down so no one was waiting for me. There was food on the table, things like pinwheels, chips, cheese, pepperoni, dip, just small things so the adults could settle down. Cartman was eating all the chips and double dipping, which grossed me out. Wendy and Kyle were talking about what type of cheese was the best. It was a strange thing to listen to. Why does it matter which cheese is the best? In all honesty they're technically the same. Cartman pushed me out of my thoughts with a question.

"Have you always been here?"

I looked at him confused. No one seemed to notice that Cartman was speaking they all just were in their own little worlds so it was just me and Cartman listening to each other.

"Don't you remember spreading that rumor about me in Middle School?" I replied.

He sat there actually thinking, like he had done that multiple times.

"Oh yeah, that was a mistake believe it or not." Cartman said shoving more chips into his mouth.

"Mistake?" I asked.

"Yeah it was--"

Kenny reached over me and covered Cartman's mouth. Cartman didn't even try fighting it and now everybody was looking our way.

"Cartman, can you be a civilized human being for one day?" Stan said.

Kenny remove his hand and leaned back into his seat. I was confused, why did Kenny react like that? I looked at Kenny who had his parka covering his mouth. He looked at me and we stared into each other's eyes and it seems like everybody had started talking to each other again but Kenny kept staring at me. My confused face turned red. I don't even know why, maybe it was getting awkward, maybe I was just suddenly embarrassed. I looked down in my lap, embarrassed that I blushed in front of him.

"Okay, you kids ready for some food?" I heard my mom say.

I looked up and saw Sharon and Shelia were standing next to my mom. Everyone got excited as the three moms brought food and put it on the table. It was something basic, everyone had a plate of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a salad if you wanted. Stan's family were known for having basic white family meals. Kyle gave his meatloaf to Stan. I wondered why, Jews can eat beef, but I also realized it was none of my business. I watched the three moms go in the living room with food, and they give it to all the dads who would look bored and had nothing to do. I looked at my plate, I didn't like eating in front of people, but it looked delicious so I grabbed the fork and took a bite of mashed potatoes. If it was one thing I missed, it was Sharon's mashed potatoes I felt like singing from how good they were. Everyone else was just talking except me talking and Kenny.

TIMPSKIPPPP BC IM LAZY FUCK YOU

Once everybody was done eating, not including the grown ups. We all made our way outside. Kenny, Stan, Kyle, and Cartman went up the tree house. Tolkien stood at the bottom of the tree house debating on whether or not he should go up there.

Kenny's pov:

Once we got up laughing at Cartman being fat and slow. Kyle and Stan Sat by the window waving at Wendy and Y/n. Cartman was by the entrance trying to catch his breath and I was in the back sitting alone, being me.

"Hah....why did you shut my....m.....my mouth!?" Cartman said, still having a hard time breathing.

"Because I didn't want her to know." I replied.

"She's going to find out one day." Stan added.

"Hopefully tonight things work out." Kyle said.

"It would be nice." I replied.

It's so weird, how did you even fall in love with her?" Kyle asked.

I looked at them and sighed.

"She didn't want me for sex, she wanted me for me."

"How do you know?" Cartman asked.

Y/n's pov:

"What do you think their talking about." Wendy asked me.

"I really don't want to know." I laughed.

Wendy laughed with me then it was quiet.

"I bought you a dress." Wendy said.

"What..?" I questioned.

"I-"

"I heard you... but why?"

"I didn't have any dresses in your size, and I have plenty of money don't worry." Wendy explained.

"Wendy I don't care if you have a lot of money why did you spend money on me?"

"Because I'm a nice person, and I believe we can have a long friendship. I hope you don't mind a red dress."

I blushed, not in a romantic way, not an embarrassed way, just a way of pure happiness. No one's ever really bought anything for me, besides my dad. But I was also upset because I don't know Wendy that well. What am I supposed to get her when I get the chance?

"Thank you weds." I smiled.

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around to see my mother.

"Hey do you want to start heading out?" My mom asked.

"Yes that-"

"Hey actually, I was wondering if she could spend the night at my house?" Wendy asked.

"Oh...uhm, who might you be?" my mother said.

"I'm Wendy testaburger. I'm also the school vice president and I just became friends with Y/n. I thought it be a good time to bond a good relationship."

I saw my mom's face light up like she had seen something she had never seen before.

"Of course, I didn't know Y/n had a new friend. Well then I guess I'll just leave! See you tomorrow sweetheart." My mom said, hugging me.

The smell of alcohol reeked on her clothes. Did my mom drink? Did Sharon give her some? I was worried but I also knew that we weren't that far away from home, so my mom wouldn't be drunk driving or hurt herself.

"Are you okay?" Mom I asked just in case

"Yes sweetheart I'm fine, just remember to message me when you get to her house, and good night message that would be nice." My mom replied. Then my mom started walking towards the back door.

"Yeah..." I mumbled.

When I looked at Wendy my stomach dropped. I had never been to a sleep over. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared.

"Your mother seems nice." Wendy said.

"You have to let me know your plans before telling my mom." I replied.

"Sorry, I was supposed to talk to her about it before you left, but it seems she likes to leave early." She explained.

"This place is a little uncomfortable for her." I said.

"Why?" Wendy questioned.

"When my dad died it was tragic for her. And Stan's house was were my dad spent most of his time, I'm sure it made my mom upset, knowing that my dad was hardly ever at our house." I explained.

"Oh I see...sorry." Wendy apologized.

I looked at Wendy and smiled letting her know it was okay. Then we both looked in front of us and watched as the boys walked towards us.

"I saw your mom drive off. Are you not leaving?" Stan asked.

"She's spending the night with me!" Wendy beamed.

"Oh cool." Stan replied.

"Okay children, time to go home." We all turned and saw Sharon.

We all walked to the door and met with our parents. Except for Wendy and Tolkien's parents.

"Thank you for coming Y/n." Sharon said.

I looked at her and smiled. "Yeah I missed coming over."

She smiled in response. I felt someone grab my arm and next thing I knew I was being dragged outside. I waved to Stan and his mother then caught myself as the person let go. I looked up and saw Wendy. Ofcourse it was her.

"Tolkien will be driving us to my house are you okay with that?" Wendy asked.

"Yeah." I answered.

Then Wendy opened the backseat door and I sat inside. It was so comfortable. I knew Tolkien was the riches in town, I mean I used to just look at his house when we would pass by it. But I was still shocked by how nice the car was. And I don't like cars. When Wendy got into the car Tolkien started driving.
