It has been well over a month since Peter Parker got his body back from the infamous Dr. Otto Octavius, formally known as Doctor Octopus. So far the 27-year old brown-haired man from New York has been dealing with the aftermath, such as Mary Jane Watson officially ending their relationship and cutting him out of her life. Let's not forget his ex, Black Cat, trying to rise up the ranks in the criminal underworld and pretty much swore vengeance against Spider-Man the next time they cross paths.

Speaking of which, some of her hired goons were trying to pull off a heist at a nearby jewelry store late in the night. Peter was watching this go down on top of a building across the street with his iconic red and blue suit with black web lines on the red parts. He took a deep breath through his nose and breathed out.

"This is it. Showtime!" Peter said as he put his mask back on and shot a web-line out of his right wrist and jumped off the building over to where the action is. Time for the element of surprise.

Black Cat's thugs were doing a smash and grab. There were four of them, and they were breaking display cases and grabbing whatever that was valuable. It was a simple job that in her own words, "even a moron wouldn't screw this up." However, they didn't count on the webslinger to actually show up.

Spider-Man whistled at them to get their attention as he was on the ceiling which caught them by surprise.

"Shouldn't you fine folk be doing something worthwhile in your lives for once," Spider-Man quipped.

"Ah, crap! It's him!" One of the thugs shouted but his three partners took off with the loot, knowing who Spider-Man is, this was already a losing battle, "What the?! GET BACK HERE YOU-"

He was cut off as Spidey kicked the thug down on the ground, dropping his bag full of stolen goods, and webbing the thug up. The other three pulled out their weapons and fired at Peter, but his heightened senses were able to make him dodge all in-coming projectiles. Peter shoots webs at their eyes in order to temporarily blind the crooks and seizing the opportunity to take their weapons out of their hands. They were able to pull the webbing out of their eyes and discover that Spider-Man has their guns inside a web-like bag that he made in one hand.

"Tsk, Tsk, Tsk!" Spider-Man wagged his finger at them in a taunting manner.

The three stooges looked at one another and decided to have the "smart" idea to charge at him.

"They never learn," Spider-Man sighed as he ducked and dodged their punches as if he was simply having too much fun toying with them.

"Alright! Fun's over," Spider-Man makes quick work of the three as he knocks out one thug, kicks the wind out the second thug and he dodges the last thug's punch by doing a split and punching him right in the family jewels.

"Oooh! That's gotta sting," Spider-Man winced as he couldn't help but feel sorry for the last guy. Before the crooks get the chance to recover, Peter webbed them up as quickly as possible before the authorities arrive.

"It's such a shame of how far you've fallen, Cat. Using generic boneheads to do your dirty work instead of doing it yourself. That's totally not your style," Spider-Man said to himself as he shakes his head in disappointment. A part of him had hoped that there was still good in his old ex-girlfriend, but now he's afraid that the Black Cat he once knew was too far gone.

The sound of police sirens broken Peter's train of thought as it was time make himself scarce but not before he leaves his signature calling card.

Several NYPD cop cars pulled up at the jewelry store and officers broke through the door with their guns drawn only to find that the four perpetrators were already tied up in webbing practically gift wrapped. Stuck to them was a small piece of paper, and one of the officers read it out loud:

"Courtesy of your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man!"

Elsewhere was Peter with his mask off scrolling through his smartphone on a rooftop, it's only been a month since Otto's attack on New York using his body as the Superior Spider-Man and it definitely did leave a mark on his reputation. Due to the mistrust from civilians and people from the hero community alike, he decided to keep his distance for a while as he had a lot to make up for not only as Spider-Man but as Peter Parker as well. Once again the city against him...but that was nothing new.

If there was one thing, Peter was able to reconcile with Aunt May and her new husband, John Jonah Jameson, Sr., but she was back to hating Spider-Man again after Ock's attack which did cause some friction between the two of them for a little while.

J. Jonah Jameson Jr. was pretty much over the moon so to speak as his final act as Mayor of New York deployed some Spider-Slayers to hunt down that "wall-crawling menace" once and for all and those little wind-up toys proved to be the perfect stress relievers from time to time.

Don't get him started on the Avengers as they subjected him to numerous test while treating him as if he was another garden variety super criminal. It was probably for safety reasons like if Doc Ock was still slumming it inside his brain for example or whatever garbage they try to justify themselves with until they saw that he was back to his somewhat jovial self. Peter has been ignoring their calls for a month on his Avengers Card as he was avoiding them due to the constant trust issues from both sides and the fact that he felt like he was letdown by the very same people he looked up to. He even came to the conclusion that maybe being an Avenger was part of his problem, and he couldn't get over the fact that his colleagues couldn't tell that something was wrong throughout the whole ordeal.

Spider-Man has been somewhat of a ghost lately in dealing with more street crime like burglary, bank robberies and an influx of gang activity due to the rising crime rate. He inherited Otto's mess so what better way to make up for everything by doing what he does best but in a low key way. Although the city's perception of Spider-Man haven't changed, it reminded him that he wasn't doing this by getting the approval of some big name heroes but it was the responsible thing to do. After dealing with crime and other super villain incidents, he would get in and get out leaving authorities and allies little slips of paper with his name on it like from before. It was the littlest things that makes being Spider-Man all the more worth it.

"Out of sight and out of mind," Peter muttered under his breath as he thought he was alone.

"You've been a hard guy to find."

Peter quickly put his mask back on and turned around to see his old friend, Matt Murdock, also known as the Daredevil, was walking up to him and sitting down next to the webslinger.

"Oh...hey Matt," Spider-Man sighed as put his phone back in his pocket and looked down below. Daredevil could tell that something's been bugging the wall crawler by the tone of his voice so he decides to lend an ear.

"Are you alright, Pete? What's got you down?" Daredevil voicing his concern to his friend.

"My social life and love life is going down the tubes. Some of my old co-workers from Horizon Labs started talking to me again but all in all I've been great. Just great," Spider-Man said sarcastically lamenting as he has hit rock bottom...again.

"You wanna talk about it?" Daredevil asked as he truly wanted to help his friend at his lowest moment.

Peter was hesitant at first but it couldn't hurt him to just vent to one of his close friends.

"One of my Ex's decided it was high time to cut me loose, but in a way I honestly don't blame her. My life is an unending cycle of chaos and dysfunction and she couldn't take it anymore. She's been doing great without me," Spider-Man sighed as he had hoped to one day settle down with MJ and quit the hero business while he was still ahead. Unfortunately, things don't turn out the way they're planned.

"You know Felicia, right?" Spider-Man asked his friend who only nodded in response.

"When Ock took over my body as if I was a puppet-

"I'm gonna pretend like I didn't hear that part," Daredevil cut him off as he couldn't help but felt a little grossed out at that analogy.

"Anyway he brutally beat Black Cat senseless and sent her to prison. She's been carrying this grudge against me ever since. Once I got back behind the wheel, I confronted her for the first time in a burning building...that she caused by the way and I had hoped to clear the air between the us," Spider-Man sighed as he still can't believe what went down after that.

"Let me guess, she didn't believe you," Daredevil said.

"Heh! You should be on game shows, but yeah she didn't care one bit. She kept talking about how I ruined her reputation on the streets or whatever," Spider-Man shrugged it off. For the life of him, he couldn't imagine Cat wanting to be the next Kingpin or "Queenpin."

Daredevil could relate as he was so used to the on and off relationship between him and Elektra. He noticed that his friend was going through some inner turmoil at the moment so he decided to offer him some advice.

"You ever thought about going to therapy?" Daredevil advised.

"The last time that happened I had Mysterio as my therapist," Spider-Man snorted and shook his head as he doesn't want to go through that headache again.

"Why not just ask the Avengers for help?" Daredevil pressed.

"I'm not going to annoy them about my personal problems. Besides the Avengers handle world ending catastrophes not crime sprees," Spider-Man said.

"Peter, you can't keep playing this avoidance dance with them forever. You haven't attended one meeting at Avenger's Tower for over a month. Sooner or later you're gonna have to face them head on," Daredevil tried to reason with his friend.

"While I appreciate your concern, Matt, I been managing quite well on my own," Spider-Man reassured the red devil from Hell's Kitchen.

"No offense, Pete, but...you got terrible coping mechanisms," Daredevil quietly chuckled to himself.

"That obvious huh?" Spider-Man asked.

"So obvious that even a blind man could see through it," Daredevil quipped as he got up from where he was sitting. "I should get going. It's been nice talking to you again. Just remember you still have friends and family who care about you, Peter. Don't ever forget that."

Daredevil leaps off the rooftop leaving Spider-Man alone in his thoughts. While some heroes like DD are at ease of his presence, others still look at him with contempt as Doc Ock was still fresh in some people's minds. He hasn't even visit the Baxter Building since he got his body back, but maybe it's for the best that he doesn't go bug the FF. It's going to take a lot of work to help repair these relationships but Peter Parker loves a good challenge.

Spider-Man stood up from his spot trying to make his way back to his new apartment that was in good condition and get some well-deserved rest. It was paid for with little but enough money from Otto's time in his body. He soon heard his phone rang from his pocket and reluctantly answered it.

"You're on the air!" Spider-Man joked.

"Parker! This is Fury. We have a situation that requires your assistance. We need all hands on deck for this one. Since you already nearby, head on down to the location that I sent to your phone. A Quinjet is parked there and meet the others. Get in gear, ASAP! Over and out!" Nick Fury ordered.

Spider-Man raised a brow at this. Why would Fury of all people call him for help? He decided to let his curiosity get the better of him and swing on down to the location. Could this be a test by SHIELD to see if he could still be trusted, even though they knew he was being possessed by a villain. Personally, he could care a less as this was probably some way to see where Peter's loyalty lie with or gaining the Avenger's respect. Only one way to find out...

UNDISCLOSED DOCK LOCATION

Spider-Man landed on the docks after an hour swinging from place to place. He begin to comb through the area to see who he's working with this time. To his mild surprise, he noticed some SHIELD agents and some members of the Avengers near the Quinjet waiting for him to arrive.

"Well this is awkward..." Spider-Man sighed.

The leader was dressed in red white and blue with a big white star on the costume. The head piece sported a pair of wings on both sides with a letter A on it. The star-spangled man who was carrying his mighty shield onto his back was the living legend himself, Steve Rogers, known as Captain America.

The armored avenger who had his arms crossed in his iconic red and yellow hi-tech suit with the arc reactor on his chest was billionaire playboy and philanthropist, Tony Stark, also known by the general public as the Invincible Iron Man.

He is considered the best there is. A mutant with indestructible Adamantium claws known for being the most violent member of the X-Men and the Avengers. He goes by many names such as James Howlett AKA Logan AKA The Wolverine.

The jade giantess with long luxurious green hair that you see before you is none other than Jennifer Walters, who is the Sensational She-Hulk. Part-time lawyer and part-time Avenger. She is also cousin of the Incredible Hulk.

Former circus performer turned expert marksman for the Avengers. Once trained by criminals, he grew up to be a part of Earth's mightiest heroes. Clint Barton dressed in his usual purple and black getup is known as Hawkeye.

Last but not least was Jessica Miriam Drew who was once a former brainwashed HYDRA spy now working for the good guys. She was in her usual red and yellow outfit with her raven hair flowing in the wind. She was the Amazing Spider-Woman. No relation.

"The prodigal webhead returns to grace us with his presence. Long time no see," Hawkeye smirks but the rest of his teammates fail to find the humor in this and Spider-Man ignores the potshot as he casually walks up to them.

Jennifer waved to the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man as it's been so long since she heard his quips that brighten the mood. She actually missed having the webhead around, and was quite saddened that he stopped responding to their calls.

A livid Iron Man unfolded his arms and quickly walks up to the webslinger as he had a few choice words with him. He kept trying to get in contact with Spider-Man for over a month but to no avail.

"Where's your card?" Iron Man aggressively inquired.

"I've seem to have misplaced it," Spider-Man narrowed his eyes with the slits of his eye holes of his mask.

"Not off to a good start, Pete," She-Hulk sighed while Clint chuckled and Logan shook his head.

"YOU THINK THIS A GAME?!" Iron Man snapped at the wall crawler.

"Oh don't you start, Stark!" Spider-Man shook his head as he was already getting annoyed with this.

"Enough! Both of you are grown men!" Steve had to play the mediator before things got ugly. "Whatever issue that you two have with one another can get settled right after this mission."

Iron Man snorts and walks away to cool off for a bit. Captain America put his hand on Spider-Man's shoulder. "And as for you, I know the times have not been so fair and kind to you. I understand that all too well, son, but you once told me to my face that once an Avenger is always an Avenger so start acting like one."

"Loud and clear, Captain," Spider-Man promised which brought a small smile to the star-spangled man's face.

"I hate to interrupt but if Spider doesn't have his card then who even invited him?" Hawkeye asked when a voice answered for him.

"Why I did, Barton!"

Everybody turned their attention over to the director of SHIELD, Colonel Nick Fury, who was walking over to the group with his second-in-command, Maria Hill.

"Got a problem with that?" Fury sternly asked the expert marksman.

"Not one bit," Hawkeye tersely replied.

"That's what I thought," Fury said.

"Sir, we are ready to move out by your command and-" Hill stops herself once she notices Spider-Man in the group and she was not happy to see him. "What is he doing here?!"

"Hill!" Fury admonishes the agent.

"Thank you," Hawkeye not so quietly muttered but his Ex-girlfriend, Jess, hits him in the arm as a way of telling the archer to knock it off. "Ow."

"Okay, I'm just going to address the elephant in the room. Why am I even here, Fury? What good am I for this one mission?" Spider-Man was really curious as to why Nick even bother contacting him.

"Norman Osborn," Fury sighed which got the attention of a lot of heroes present especially Spider-Man who eyes widened at the revelation. It has been a month since Norman's failed Goblin Nation takeover of New York and Peter thought to had cured him of the serum. The monster hasn't been seen for a while.

"He has resurfaced yet again and this time he has also brought in some super-powered back up," Fury explained to the team while getting a cigar from his coat pocket. "Right now the green bastard and his goons are raiding an abandoned underground SHIELD facility on Ferro Island in upstate New York."

"I thought Webs took care of Ol' Normie last month," Logan gruffly said with his arms crossed.

"I was able to depower him but he somehow managed to escape captivity unfortunately," Spider-Man groaned.

"And now he's back. Which is why I called you in for this. Since Parker knows him better than anyone else here, I figured he would be the man for the job," Fury said as Norman Osborn was Spider-Man's most hated arch nemesis.

"So what is he after this time that he and his goon squad would be stupid enough to raid a top-secret SHIELD facility?" Iron Man asked the super spy.

"Project: Pandora. It's an object of unimaginable power," Fury sighed while smoking on his cigar.

"...Of course it is," Logan groaned with the rest of the Avengers sharing his sentiment.

"With all due respect, Sir," Maria Hill glanced at Spider-Man and back to her superior. "Are you sure bringing Spider-Man along would be a good idea? He could prove to put the team at risk."

'Here were go again with the trust issues. Never change, Hill,' Spider-Man rolled his eyes behind his mask.

"Are you questioning my methods, Hill?"Fury asked his most loyal agent.

"No sir, I was just saying that what if-" Hill was cut off by Colonel Fury.

"We're not here to discuss about what ifs, Agent Hill, but here's a what if for you. If you doubt my methods or Spider-Man's place here one more time, then I'll have you demoted," Fury threatened Hill who was caught off guard. "Are we clear, Hill?"

"Crystal," Hill agreed with gritted teeth as she and the other agents make their way to the Quinjet.

"Let's saddle up, people! Time is of the essence!" Fury shouted to everyone in the vicinity. The Avengers were entering the Quinjet, and Spider-Man was thinking to himself.

"Let's just get this over with," Spider-Man muttered in a rare depressed tone which was noticed by Logan and Jessica.

SHIELD FACILITY, FERRO ISLAND

In a control room filled with monitors to observe dozens of rooms, hallways, and laboratories, one man in particular was going over schematics and blueprints on a table to see if he can find the one that lead him to his treasure. The entire base was completely under his control.

"Ah there you are," the man wearing tactical gear found the schematic for Project: Pandora and where to locate it. One of his associate who was garbed in a white cape and hood came up to him.

"Osborn." which got the man's attention.

"We just received word from one of your followers in SHIELD that the Avengers are heading our way to take back this base. Also they brought along Spider-Man as you predicted," The hooded man reported.

"Things are going exactly as planned," Osborn grinned maniacally as he put on his own mask and told the rest of his mercenaries hidden in the shadows. "The five of you wait for my signal. It's time that we show each of our rivals a warm welcome."

MEANWHILE ON THE QUINJET

The Quinjet was flying over the ocean as it won't be long until they reach their destination. Inside was Maria Hill piloting the plane while Fury was conversing about their next course of action with Steve and Tony in the front. Logan was taking a quick power nap in his seat, Jennifer was doing her best not to doze off, and Clint was starting to get bored out of his mind. Spider-Man took a seat in the far back and just staring out the window in his whole world.

"Penny for your thoughts?"

Spider-Man turned his head towards Spider-Woman who was sitting right next him. He didn't even notice she was there.

"You've been unusually quiet this whole ride. Normally, you would be spouting some corny joke about airline food," Spider-Woman stated as she can clearly see something is up with Peter.

"A nice change of pace. Wouldn't you agree?" Clint smugly turned his head around but Peter ignored him while Jess shot a glare at her Ex-boyfriend who got the message and faced forward.

"Sorry I'm tapped out at the moment and I'm kind of going through some writer's block," Spider-Man dryly quipped.

"You actually write your own jokes?" Spider-Woman retorted.

Peter turned his head back to the window.

"You wanna talk?" Jessica hoping to get through to him.

"What is there to talk about, Jess?" Spider-Man sighed.

"I know that I'm not good at this, but I get what you're going through," Spider-Woman said as that got his attention.

"Do you remember when the Skrull Invasion happened and their queen impersonated me? The constant mistrust and awful accusations. You were one of the few who actually came to my defense. What I am saying is you can't let that stuff get to you," Spider-Woman trying to reassure her friend as this was probably the first time that he has ever shown vulnerability. Peter didn't say a word.

"Whether you believe it or not we do care about you, Peter."

"Yeah well you guys sure have a funny way of showing it," Spider-Man skeptically said.

"Give it time and maybe the others will have a reason to trust you again. Don't be afraid to let others in," Spider-Woman said.

"Thanks, Jess. I really needed that pep talk," Spider-Man expressed his gratitude as he was dealing with a lot of stress.

"It's my way of paying it forward, and besides those cookies that you brought last month were delicious," Spider-Woman referring to the time that he gave them fresh baked cookies after his tests were completed.

"You have got to tell me the recipe someday," Spider-Woman continued.

"Can't expose all my secrets now," Spider-Man joked which made Jess chuckle a little. She would normally get annoyed by the wall-crawler's clownish persona, but seeing how he's been feeling for the past month it was sort of nice to see him in rare spirits after everything that has happened. They both shared a small smile with each other.

"Look alive, people!" Fury yelled to get everyone's attention. "We're here."

SHIELD FACILITY, FERRO ISLAND

They landed the jet on the coast of the island. The Avengers and agents exited and were able to head to the entrance of the facility.

"I want you to fan out and search the area for anything suspicious?! Do you hear me?!" Fury ordered his SHIELD field agents.

"Sir Yes Sir!" the field agents shouted in unison and did as they were told. Nick Fury only nodded in satisfaction.

"As for the rest of you, it's time to enter the belly of the beast," Fury, Hill and the Avengers entered the facility with no problems so far.

"So we're clear that is a trap, right?" Clint decided to break the silence.

"What was your first clue?" Jessica sarcastically said.

The team were walking a long hallway until they heard the unsettling sound of demented laughter echoing through the intercoms. Spider-Man was all too familiar with that laugh as it was true the Green Goblin has returned.

"Well! Well! Welcome Avengers to my Little Shop of Horrors!!" Goblin laughed.

"How are you even back, Norman?! I cured you of your insanity!" Spider-Man was so sure that he did do that after their last encounter.

"Oh it takes a lot to get rid of me, Spider-Man! After all it was I who invented the serum in the first place and I could easily get more of it," Goblin laughed in Peter's expense.

"Why have you bother to come back, Osborn? If I didn't know any better I say you got a humiliation- Iron Man said.

"WAS I TALKING TO YOU STARK?!! NO!" Goblin cut him off in a fit of rage only to compose himself.

"Sheesh! How do you deal with this headcase?" Hawkeye asked Spider-Man only to get ignored by him again as the web head was solely focused on Norman's voice.

"Poor, Peter Parker! It must be so terrible for you to be a part of a team that doesn't fully trust you. To live in a city that curses your name in the nightly news," Goblin mocking Spider-Man through the intercom and Peter tighten's his fist in anger.

Jessica puts her hand on his shoulder to put him at ease. "He's just trying to get into your head. Don't listen to him."

"She's right, soldier. When we find him, we will make sure to put an end to this madness for good," Captain America said to the webslinger.

"Don't make promises that you can't keep, Cap! Anyways I'm starting to get bored with all of you! I'll have the welcoming committee take care of you. I have certain date with a Pandora's Box that I'm just dying to open. Ha Ha Ha see you soon, Parker!" Goblin cut off the off button of the intercom.

"Fury. Just what is Project: Pandora and why is he after it?" Captain America has known the director of SHIELD for a very long time and he could tell that Nick had something to hide.

"We need to keep moving," Fury stated without answering Steve's question.

"While we're on the subject, I never even heard of a Ferro Island before today," Tony remarked.

"Because it was an uncharted island that was used back in the old days. Only top personnel including myself know about it," Fury explained.

"But how did the Goblin knew?" Jessica curiously asked.

"I intend to find out," Fury stated.

The group soon reached an area of the facility that acts as a lounge that was collecting dust and it had indoor bridges that went up three floors. The room was almost completely dark but only the bright moonlight kept it from being that way.

Out of the corner of first floor, someone was stealthy trying to ambush them through the darkness. While some the members of the team were conversing about how to apprehend the Goblin, Logan stopped in his tracks which caused Jennifer to look at him.

"What's the matter, Logan?" She-Hulk asked her teammate.

Wolverine took a couple of sniffs through the air and his metallic claws popped out. "We got company!"

Spider-Man's Spider-sense alerted him of danger nearby and saw a glowing red dot on the back Hawkeye's neck.

"What!-" Before he could finish, Clint was pushed out the way by Spider-Man as a bullet was fired from some rifle somewhere. It grazed Peter's shoulder and it hit the floor tiles on the ground.

"Ouch! T-That was close," Spider-Man huffed and grabbed his arm as the bullet merely grazed his skin. He waited for his healing factor to kick in.

"Are you okay, Spidey?" Jessica asked in concern for his well-being

"I'm fine. The bullet didn't get me though." Spider-Man reassures his teammates.

"You got off lucky, Barton. That bullet would've almost struck you in the spine if it weren't for Webhead here," Iron Man said.

"Wow. Um...thanks, man. I appreciate it," Clint awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck as he really felt bad now about busting Spider-Man's chops throughout the entire mission.

"Don't mention it," Spider-Man nodded.

"Ah Dammit! Guess I'm outta practice! Hawkhead is still walking!"

The team looked up and discovered that the sniper that almost hit Hawkeye in the back was walking on top the bridge sporting his weapon in one hand. In the moonlight, he was dressed in a black and white jumpsuit with a black mask covering his face. It was revealed to be Bullseye.

"Bullseye!" Hawkeye growled in annoyance.

"How do you like my new toy? It's silent but deadly," Bullseye gloated while showing of his newest weapon. Spider-Man and Hawkeye both felt the urge to tell a fart joke, but this was starting to get very serious.

"Why are you here, Bullseye?" Captain America demanded while he kept his guard up.

"The Goblin has paid us big bucks to keep you bozos preoccupied," Bullseye explained to the star-spangled avenger.

"Us?!" Iron Man repeated and they soon heard the sound of claws scraping the cement walls.

The figure had on a fur-trimmed coat with on and he was looking at the Avengers as if they were food. This really set off Logan as he instantly recognized the man before them. Victor Creed AKA Sabretooth.

"Creed!" Wolverine snarled in a animal-like manner while holding up his claws.

"Long time no see, runt!" Sabretooth smiled sadistically.

Someone burst through the wall like they were the Kool-Aid Man. The Avengers, Nick and Hill took cover and a few of them were coughing up dust.

"Is anybody alright?" Captain America asked.

"We're fine, Cap. Just- Oh no way..." She-Hulk couldn't believe what she was seeing. The team saw that the person who made the hole was an old adversary of Jennifer.

She was also a gamma mutate wearing an outfit similar to She-Hulk, but her skin was reminiscent to Abomination. Florence Sharples AKA Abominatrix.

"Flo? Is that you?" She-Hulk asked her oldest forgotten rival.

"It's nice that you still remember little old me. The years have been so kind to you, Trixie," Abominatrix taunted.

"Trixie?" Spider-Man looked at She-Hulk in confusion.

"Don't ask," She-Hulk pressed while Spider-Man shrugged.

Another figure came crashing down the skylight and as the glass shattered everywhere it was revealed to be someone wearing a Crimson Dynamo armor.

"I swear they keep on spawning these things," Iron Man was surprised that someone out there is still making Vanko's suits. He may have to look into that later.

Someone shot a beam of light over at Jessica's direction, but she was able to dodge it in time. She turned to the side and saw another woman floating over them. The woman was wearing a white and gold jumpsuit with a matching mask and her name was Dr. Karla Sofen AKA Moonstone.

"I was hoping to settle the score with Captain Marvel, but since you're her BFF I guess you'll do for now," Moonstone sneered at Jessica.

"As if you'll ever get the chance," Spider-Woman prepared a venom blast.

Captain America saw one more person casually entering the fray. He was wearing a white hood and cape and has a skull-like mask covering his face. He even had a shield of his own with a broadsword strapped to his back. The man was Tony Masters AKA Taskmaster.

"Hello, Avengers. Allow me to introduce you all to the new and improved Masters of Evil," Taskmaster said.

"Why are you all working for Norman?" Captain America asked.

"The Green Goblin promised each and every one of us an easy payday by keeping you lot busy," Taskmaster explained as he took out his sword and pointed it at the captain. It was a standoff between the two groups.

"And we intend to collect."

"Avengers Assemble!" Captain America roared and the two teams began their fierce battle.

Taskmaster slammed his sword on Cap's shield, but Steve pushed him off by kicking him the stomach. He turned his attention over to Spider-Man and the SHIELD agents.

"Spider-Man! Escort Director Fury and Agent Hill over to where Norman is heading," Captain America ordered.

"But-" Spider-Man was cut off by Logan.

"No buts, Bub! He gave you an order. Find that lunatic before he gets his grubby hands on whatever the hell he's after," Wolverine said while he was talking and fighting Sabretooth at the same time.

"We'll be fine, Spider-Man. Now go!" Spider-Woman reassured her male counterpart as it looks like the Avengers got it covered.

Spider-Man, Nick and Maria were able to escape the chaos by going to another hallway in order to find the Green Goblin. Taskmaster saw this and press a com-link device on his mask.

"Spider-Man, Fury and his guard dog are coming your way, Goblin."

ABANDONED LABORATORY

Green Goblin found a huge vault door on the wall that contain Project: Pandora hidden behind it.

"I wouldn't worry about that Anthony. I left a surprise to keep them distracted," Goblin chuckled to himself as he reached into his satchel and grabbed a pumpkin...

TRAINING ROOM

Spider-Man and the SHIELD agents were getting close to the lab but they would soon run into an obstacle as they found a room that was used for training purposes. In that room, there were numerous Life Model Decoys (LMD) were operational as they were all in the form of the Green Goblin. It was Peter's worst nightmare come to life as all them were laughing at the trio menacingly much like the original.

"I'm getting real sick and tired of Goblins!" Spider-Man prepared himself as the decoys were about to attack them.

"You know...that's the first time that we agree on something," Maria Hill took out her pistol to aim at the machines.

"Be on your guard!" Fury advised the two as the Goblin Decoys lunged at them.

Spider-Man did a barrage of hard punches and kicks to the decoys while Maria shoots at some of them with great precision. Nick also managed to shoot at several of the decoys with duel wield pistols of his own. They were all able to inflict heavy damage to the androids but more kept on coming left and right.

"Spider-Man! It's up to you complete the mission! Go on without us!" Fury told the red and blue webslinger.

"I won't let you down, Fury!" Spider-Man saluted to the director and web slings his way to the lab.

"I know you won't, son," Furry muttered as he and his second in command were finishing off the rest of the Life Model Decoys.

"Think you can keep up, Hill?" Fury asked his most trusted agent.

"Are you kidding me, Colonel? I live for this," Hill smiled mischievously as she was really going to enjoy turning these Decoys into scrap.

LABORATORY

Spider-Man burst through the double doors of the lab to find that the vault was blown to kingdom come.

"It looks like I was too late," Spider-Man disappointingly said.

"On the contrary," Spider-Man saw his most hated foe walking out the vault.

"You're right on time," Goblin darkly grinned as he was carrying a suitcase.

"That better be you, Gobby!" Spider-Man angrily expressed while pointing his finger at him.

"Were you expecting a Decoy because I assure you that I am the real McCoy!" Green Goblin laughed which still runs down Peter's spine in person.

"I have had it with your mind games, Osborn!" Spider-Man shouted.

"Oh but the game has just begun," Green Goblin pointed his finger that emitted electricity at the wall-crawler causing him to get tazed. "Why don't you just stay put and see what I got in store for you."

Green Goblin waltzed on over to the lab table and set the suitcase on top. He opened up the case which glowed brightly and Spider-Man saw what it really was inside as he tried to stand.

"No! Oh no! It can't be..." Spider-Man who was lost for words.

"Oh but it is, my wall crawling friend. For you see, Project: Pandora is a Cosmic Cube!" Goblin yelled out as he held the cube in his hand.

MEANWHILE BACK WITH THE AVENGERS

The team was able to take down most of Osborn's Masters of Evil as almost all of the mercenaries were incapacitated. Nick Fury and Maria Hill finished off the LMDs and the two regrouped with the Avengers as it was time to tell them the truth about Project: Pandora.

"Time out! You mean to tell me that another Cosmic Cube was hidden on this damn island!" Iron Man shouted.

"What were you thinking, Fury," Captain America said as he was so use to the man keeping secrets but this might the straw that broke the camel's back.

"I was thinking that in case another megalomaniac or genocidal alien tyrant ever tried to alter reality, I would keep a spare as a back-up," Fury explained to the heroes.

"I already called in a ship to transport these degenerates back to the Vault," Maria Hill told the director who nodded for her good work.

"But it still doesn't make any sense, how does Norman know that there was a Cube here of all places?" She-Hulk inquired. "Unless-"

"There was a mole in SHIELD's midst," Hawkeye finished it for her, and they soon heard the sound of a cackle behind them.

Taskmaster was struggling to get up but he wasn't stupid enough to continue the fight unlike the rest of his team members.

"It was you wasn't it?" Fury said which got the attention of the Avengers as they realized that Tony Masters was once a high-profile SHIELD agent. "You were the one who told him about the island?"

"I did but I didn't know that there was even a Cube here," Taskmaster confessed.

"Then who did?" Hill was getting agitated with him.

"Why don't you ask Osborn?" Taskmaster retorted. "It won't matter in the end because the Spider will die at dawn and it will be all your fault-"

Jessica cut Taskmaster off by punching him square in the face much to the shock of her teammates.

"What? He was starting to get on my nerves." Spider-Woman defended her action.

"We need to act fast or else something terrible might happen," Captain America said to the rest of the Avengers, but they soon heard a loud explosion coming from that lab.

"Spoke too soon," Wolverine sighed to himself.

A FEW MINUTES EARLIER

The Green Goblin was captivated by the pure raw power of the cube so he put it in his satchel.

"What's your endgame, Norman?" Spider-Man stood up after the shock wore off.

"I feel as though that we are at the end of our rope, Parker" Goblin said. "Heh! Kinda like how you tried so hard to save little miss Gwen Stacy, but you screwed that up monumentally by breaking"- Peter punched Norman in the mouth before he dared finish that sentence.

Osborn spat out some blood and wiped his mouth. "That's it get all nice and salty for me!"

"If your own son could see you now." Spider-Man growled.

"My son!? My worthless son was a pissant who always needed you to do every little thing for him. Harry will always be an insignificant speck to me," Goblin sneered at the mention of his failure of a son.

"Was that you, Norman or the Goblin talking?" Spider-Man asked.

"Does it really matter, my dear boy?" Goblin rhetorically said as he summoned his glider that was hovering in the air and jumps right on it. "It's high time for round two!"

Peter's Spider-Sense tried to warn him but it was too late as Green Goblin launched his own version of web-string at Spider-Man from his glider that he got from the Trapster. He set a dozen pumpkin explosives which set the lab ablaze and took off laughing with the webslinger in tow.

FERRO ISLAND

The Avengers and the super spies exited the facility saw that the Goblin was flying in the sky with his glider while literally stringing Spider-Man along. Norman took the Cosmic Cube out of his satchel to admire its beauty.

"He's got Spider-Man!" She-Hulk shouted in concerned.

"And he's got the Cube!" Captain America yelled.

Iron Man flew up after them, but the glider open up a small hatch and fired multiple explosive pumpkins. Tony dodged the pumpkins as hard as he could but one of them blew up right in his face. For a last resort, he held out his wrist and launched a mini-tracker on the Goblin-Glider.

Norman still held on to the cube as he noticed Spider-Man was trying but struggling to get himself loose from those "Gobwebs."

"Why don't we change to a much different scenery, okay Pumpkin!" Goblin taunted and laughed as he used the Cube's power which has grown bright with cosmic energy to transport the two bitter enemies to some place else. Iron Man return to the group landing right in front of them.

"Where did they go?" Spider-Woman worriedly asked.

"I put a tracker on the glider and it looks like they are in...Time Square?!" Iron Man told the team.

"Everyone head to the Quinjet! We must stop Norman as soon as possible," Captain America said.

"You guys go on ahead. I probably get there much faster with my jet boosts," Iron Man responded.

"Tony, I know that you and Spider-Man don't see eye to eye at the moment but-" Captain America was cut off by the sound of Iron Man's repulsors rays making him fly.

"I'll make sure that webhead is safe and sound. I already let him down after that whole Otto thing, and I won't let that happen again," Iron Man flew off to Time Square.

"Avengers, let's move out!" Captain America told the rest of the team as they quickly bored the Quinjet as they have certain wall crawler that is in need of rescuing.

TIME SQUARE

The streets were filled with people walking and conversing with on another whether they're tourists or locals. Most of them were driving their cars getting to or from work. It was mostly peaceful when suddenly civilians heard the sound of a mad cackle in the distance.

"HA! HA! HA! HA!" The Green Goblin was flying low with his glider and released Spider-Man into the crowd of people who were spectating. He was rolling hard on the ground while his arms was still wrapped in Goblin's trap.

'Talk about road rash. Ow...everything hurts!' Spider-Man thought to himself. He looked around to see people surrounding him as they were wondering what was going on, but he couldn't see Norman anywhere. Some of them were whispering to each other due to the fact that this was the first time for a month that they've seen Spider-Man out in the open again.

"I-I'm in Time Square?!" Spider-Man thought out loud. A few people were still on edge as they saw "Spider-Man" trying to do a hostile takeover of the city not too long ago. Some were taking pictures and recording the encounter live on social media. A news van pulled up to the scene as the reporter and cameraman couldn't believe their luck.

The Amazing Spider-Man mustered up whatever strength that he had left and was able to break free from the Goblin's web trap by tearing it apart which surprised the people present.

"Everyone get outta here now! The Goblin could show up at any minute! It's dangerous for you all to be here!" Spider-Man loudly warned the civilians of the impending danger, and it was a good thing that he did because Peter's Spider-Sense was alerting him like crazy.

"Peekaboo!"

Spider-Man and the crowd heard that noise from behind them and they turned around to see the infamous Green Goblin on his glider menacingly staring at the webhead.

"I see you!" Goblin darkly grinned from ear to ear. The glider opened up two slots from the wings and out comes two small machine guns that were firing bullets causing the crowd to disperse while Spider-Man stood his ground.

Spider-Man held out his hands and shot web-lines at two bystanders by pulling them out of harm's way so that they won't get hit by the ammo. Goblin took out four pumpkin explosives from his satchel and tossed them into the crowd. Peter was prepared for that as he quickly created a huge web that caught the pumpkins just in time before they detonate. He knew that Osborn had no qualms about dragging in innocents into their long feud.

"You're fight is with me, Gobby!" Spider-Man narrowed his eyes at Norman.

"That it is, Wall-Crawler! I must say that you're actually making work for this," Goblin said. He looked to his left and saw a man holding onto his wife and son who were afraid for their lives. Norman smiled evilly as he grabbed one last pumpkin, and Spider-Man caught on to what he was about to do so he runs toward the family.

Goblin throws it like a baseball, but Spider-Man jumps in the way and took the hit that was intended for them much to the shock of the public. The pumpkin explodes which causes Spider-Man to crash into a couple of cars, landing on a windshield and drops to the pavement.

Spider-Man was worse for wear as his costume had a few rips and burn marks, but otherwise was waiting for his healing factor to kick in right about now. He was coughing up a storm.

"Predictable!" Goblin laughed as he leaped off the glider but it still followed him in case Parker tried anything funny. Osborn was dancing his way over to Spider-Man and humming a show tune to express that he was finally winning their battle.

Green Goblin took out the Cosmic Cube from his satchel, and leaned in over to Spider-Man who was on his back on the cold ground with his hand to his ear.

"A little louder, Pumpkin! Our adoring public can't hear you!" Goblin sadistically taunted his arch rival and the news camera was focusing in on the drama.

"W-Why? Why are you doing this?" Spider-Man was stalling for time.

"Why? I was at the cusp of ultimate control over this stupid city as the Goblin King, but no you had to show up and ruined it! All because of your antiquated sense of morality and responsibility, and what do you have to show for it, endless fear mongering and disrespect from these ungrateful parasites that you have sworn to protect!" Goblin stepped on Spider-Man's chest with his boot.

"You have been the bane of my existence for far too long and what I really wish for is to be rid of you from this world Permanently!!" Green Goblin held up the Cosmic Cube which was glowing brightly.

Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers made it back to New York City as they were racing against the clock to save their fellow comrade in Time Square despite how they felt about one another.

In the Quinjet, Maria was piloting as fast as she can as this was a priority alert. Nick Fury ordered the rest of his agents on the Helicarrier to wait on standby. The Avengers were watching what was transpiring on the screen, and they saw that Spider-Man was struggling against Norman.

"Can't this tin can go any faster!" She-Hulk yelled as she could not stand to see Spider-Man going through something like this.

"I'm doing the best that I can, Walters!" Hill shouted back.

Wolverine and Spider-Woman were paying close attention to the news, and they could easily see that Spider-Man was biding his time before the cavalry arrives.

"That's it, bub. Keep him busy," Logan said.

'Hang tight, Peter. We're almost there,' Jessica thought as she hoped that he makes it out alive.

After the Goblin was done gloating, he turned his attention to the arachnid hero.

"Out of my utmost respect for your intelligence, do you have a last request?" Goblin made it no secret that he always viewed Peter as a "son that he always wanted" in his demented mind so what better way to honor his soon to be dead rival than granting his last wish with the Cube.

"Y-Yeah...Can you hold the door for me?" Spider-Man smiled and used his right hand to shoot a web-line at the damaged car door.

"What are you-" Before the Goblin could react, Spider-Man yanked the car door off its hinges and slammed it into Norman dropping the Cosmic Cube and knocking him to the ground. The glider's machine guns aimed at Spider-Man, but he used the car door as a makeshift shield to protect him from incoming shots. Spider-Man thrown the door at the glider slicing it in half causing the machine to explode.

"Eat your heart out, Steve!" Spider-Man huffed and he noticed that the Cosmic Cube on the ground left unguarded. The Goblin slowly rises up and locked eyes with Peter and back at the cube.

"Mine!" Osborn blurted out as he and Spider-Man both raced after the mystical artifact. "Keep your filthy hands off my precious cube!"

"And risk you taking it! Not a chance, Gollum!" Spider-Man was determined to not let Norman used the cube for nefarious purposes.

Both of them trade blows at each other due to seasoned fighters, but then Goblin gained the upper hand by grabbing Spider-Man's neck and hoisting him up. He also recovered the Cube in one hand and Norman decided that this farce was over as the sun was just about to come out.

Out of the corner of Peter's eye, he saw Iron Man, the Quinjet and the SHIELD Helicarrier coming to his aid. He couldn't help smile at that behind his mask. "Saved by the bell," Spider-Man sighed in relief.

"Now for my next act as God King, I going to make a certain Spider disappear before their very eyes!" Green Goblin used the Cosmic Cube to its full power as it glowing really bright.

The Quinjet lands in Times Square and the Avengers reunite with Tony to save the Wall-Crawler from the Goblin. To their astonishment, they were too late as both Osborn and Parker were consumed by blue cosmic energy forming a dome around them. The civilians were evacuated in time before the swirling dome got any bigger.

Inside the swirling energy dome, Spider-Man was struggling to break free from Goblin's iron grip and Osborn was laughing at his triumph.

"You are in for a world of hurt! Now begone, Spider-Man!" Goblin used the Cosmic Cube to do just that as Spider-Man began to disintegrate right before Norman who was laughing at his misfortune.

'Is this truly my end? I never got to make up to the people that I hurt in the past. My god! I haven't learned anything...What good are these powers for if I am not going to be responsible with them. I'm sorry Uncle Ben, Gwen, Harry, Eddie, Felicia, Mary Jane, and most of all...I'm so sorry Aunt May. I failed all of you and I hope one day you all will forgive me,' Peter internally thought and cried behind his mask as he was disintegrating, and that this would probably be his final adventure.

The dome was amassing too much cosmic energy when suddenly everything turned pitch black...

The sun was rising signaling that it was morning and Time Square was heavily damaged. Thankfully, there wasn't some civilian casualties. In the middle of the street was a huge crater, SHIELD agents and Avengers were checking to see if there were any survivors in the wreckage.

The Avengers and some of their reserve members were doing their part in the rescue efforts and clean-up. Both Captain America and Iron Man were checking to see if they can find Parker and Osborn in the rubble.

"Any sign of them?" Steve asked his old friend.

"The blast disrupted some of my armor's features, but it's back in top condition. JARVIS, see if you have a heat signature of Spider-Man and Green Goblin?" The futurist instructed his artificial intelligence.

"Scanning..." Jarvis said. "I detect one heat signature belonging to someone that appears to be human but the other is an object with high levels of Cosmic radiation in the epicenter"

"It must be the Cube," Iron Man stating the obvious.

The Avengers went to the center and lifted the debris to see Norman Osborn with his costume burnt and tattered. Half of his Goblin mask was intact with a crazed look on his face as he was suffering from third-degree burns.

"Where's Spider-Man?" Spider-Woman asked in concern for the webhead.

They noticed that Norman was gripping a large piece of burnt fabric of Peter's costume. Majority of the Avengers looked on in horror as they realized that Spider-Man could have perished in the blast radius.

Iron Man dropped down to his knees as he felt immensely guilty for how he was treating him for the past month and not saving him in time. Captain America, Wolverine and Hawkeye lowered their heads in shame and payed their respects for their fallen ally. She-Hulk was crying and punching the ground out of grief while Spider-Woman looked the other way and had tears raining down her face.

At that moment, Norman realized he was holding a piece of Spider-Man outfit. He couldn't be more happier. He was laughing like a demon possessed.

"I-I did it. I finally did it! I finally eliminated Spider-Man!" Osborn yelled off the top of his lungs. The cameraman from the news got it all on tape.

Colonel Nick Fury heard everything that madman was rambling out and ordered his men to seize Norman Osborn and the Cosmic Cube. Dozens of armed SHIELD agents surrounded the Green Goblin.

"THIS IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!" Norman screamed into the heavens on this tragic morning.

EARTH-636

Have many hours have Peter Parker been out of it?

"Aye yai yai! Ow! what day is it?" Peter opened his eyes and yawned as he noticed that he was still in his tattered and partially burnt Spider-Man getup. The weirdest part was that he was fighting Green Goblin and now he was back home at what appears to be Aunt May's old home in Forest Hills before she sold it off. He was in his old bedroom laying on his bed.

"What the?! I-I'm back at Aunt May's? Well at least that I am not dead so that's reassuring."

Peter tried to get off the bed and winced in pain. Certain parts of the room had cobwebs and items such as science trophies, beakers and family photo albums were gathering dust. Almost like anything hasn't been touched in years.

"This room is long overdue for some spring cleaning," Peter wiped some of the dust off the desk with his gloved finger. "How did I end up back here?"

Peter unlocked the door and ventured out into the hallway. He discovered that parts of the house were rundown like someone hasn't been keeping it up to par.

'This is so bizarre. Aunt May wouldn't have kept this house in disarray like this.'

"Somebody home?!" Peter yelled out wondering if the occupant was there but it was worth a shot. However, the webslinger's spider-sense would soon alert him to his next big surprise...

Peter heard the floor creak behind him and the sound of a gun.

"Mighty stupid of you to get the jump on me in my own home, punk!" The unseen figure shouted while pointing his weapon behind the webhead's back. "Especially with my...reputation around the neighborhood."

Spider-Man was silent as he knew he would evade at whatever comes his but this was different. He swore he heard that tone of voice before but it sounded more grizzled.

"Turn around so I could get a good look at you," the voice commanded. Spider-Man did what he said and he would get the shock of his life.

"U-Uncle Ben!" Spider-Man couldn't believe it as standing right in front him was his deceased uncle, Ben Parker, alive and in the flesh wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. There was something different about him as he was jacked almost like Steve Rogers.

'This can't be real. It has to be an illusion by Mysterio or god forbid that Warren is up to old tricks again.'

Ben squinted his eyes at him in the dark hallway and saw the punk's suit.

"Oh it's just you. The hell happened to you? What you tryin' out new threads or somethin'. Personally, I'm not a fan of the blue and red. Too bright for my taste," Ben remarked as he lowered his desert eagle.

"Uncle Ben, d-don't you recognize me?" Spider-Man asked.

"Should I and what's with this Uncle crap?" Ben quirked a brow as he wondering if the web-head that he usually deals with is losing it. Spider-Man took off his mask hoping that his uncle would recognize him.

"It's me! Peter."

"Is this some sort of sick joke?! Because if it is then I'm not laughin'!" Ben yelled out.

"It's really me. I'm Peter Parker! I'm your nephew!"

"Impossible! Because the Peter that I knew is dead." Ben blankly said and Peter's eyes widened at that statement.

"Where's Aunt May? She has to be here, right?!" Peter's question about the former love of his uncle's life seem to have cause Ben to get angrier at him.

"Buddy, you're barking up the wrong tree with that one! May Parker, my wife, has long been deceased," Ben growled with gritted teeth.

"N-No..." Peter really couldn't believe his ears.

"I swear if this is another Chameleon caper then I'm going to-" Ben said as he continued to point his weapon.

"I'm telling you the truth. I'm really your nephew!" Peter tearfully pleaded.

"Shut up! I'm giving you by the count of 10 seconds. If you're not outta here by then I'm gonna fill you with lead," Ben said darkly.

"10!"

"9!"

Peter knew he was fighting a losing battle as his "uncle" was too stubborn to realize that he was really his nephew. He gave into Ben's demands and began to walk down the stairs. He put his mask back on and was about to reach the door. Spider-Man turned his head only to hear his uncle continuing the countdown.

"4!"

"3!"

Spider-Man closed the door on his way out. All he had to do now is to figure out what it is going on.

"What the hell is happening?" Spider-Man muttered under his breath and wiped away his tears.

He looked out into the night sky and took off while glancing back at his old home.

Ben Parker was all alone again. He didn't know what to believe. All of sudden some punk just shows up out of the blue in some Spider-Man outfit claiming to be his nephew. He reached into his pockets and grabbed his flip phone. He dialed the number to his most trusted ally.

"You got a minute, Otto? You're not going to believe this."

DOWNTOWN

*THWIP

Spider-Man was swinging across the city as he was trying to get his thoughts in order.

"Okay. Deep breaths, Parker. This has to be Mysterio's doing or Gobby might have used the cube to send me to an alternate timeline. Possibly the latter." Spider-Man theorized as he landed on a rooftop somewhere.

Spider-Man looks up at a huge jumbotron and saw this world's version of J. Jonah Jameson, Jr. going on some tangent.

"Huh! Guess somethings never change between dimensions," Spider-Man joked as he crouched on the edge of a rooftop to take a gander at what old sour face was blabbering about.

"These so-called "Avengers" are masked miscreants who should be held accountable for their irresponsible actions!"

Spider-Man was honestly surprised for once as Jolly Jameson very rarely lambastes other super heroes.

"Now that's a first," Spider-Man raised an eyebrow at what JJJ was reporting.

"It is hard to believe that someone with a rich legacy like Captain America would ever dare associate themselves with menaces to society, but make no mistake folks at home, Spider-Man is NOT out of the clear just yet!"

"I knew it was too good to be true," Spider-Man shakes his head. "Me and my Parker luck!"

"I know that you're out there listening, Spider-Man. Those gadgets and your sidekicks won't save you forever!"

Spider-Man was confused about that last part. "Now I understand the gadgets but I don't remember ever having any sidekicks...well there was Alpha that one time."

Jameson plastered the photo of the Spider-Man of this reality on the big screen. This version was wearing a suit that was somewhat vaguely familiar to the suit that Otto wore when he took over Peter's mind, but it was mostly white and black while the eye lenses was completely black as if that Spider-Man was actually looking down at Peter.

"Do you hear me, Spider-Man? You're finished!"

Spider-Man paled at what he witnessed on the big screen.

"I'm far from home than I thought..."

To Be Continued...

Author's Note: I was mostly inspired by that video by Missedthepart on what if Harry Osborn was bitten by the radioactive spider, and Justice League's Gods and Monsters. This is set before Spider-Man meeting Silk and the Original Sin. I know that this another Superior Spider-Man aftermath trope story, but it won't be the central focus, as I will try to keep the characterization intact and not be ooc as possible. This story is about wordbuilding as Peter Parker is stranded in a new universe all together. Let know what you think and you're welcome to share some ideas.
