"Can you tell I'm a Max Verstappen fan?" I asked as I walked down the stairs into the kitchen where Victoria, Max, Luka and Lio were eating "Oh my god Lucia, you suit orange" Max stood up quickly and then picked me up so we were the same height "Good because u thought so too" I gave him a peck on the lips "Can you take some pictures for my instagram" I smiled as Max placed me back on my own two feet "Of course, you know I can't say no to you" Max rolled his eyes and then followed my out the the garden.

Walking into the paddock with Max today, fans once again lined the entrance. Each one yelling out Max's name, begging him to sign whatever they had in their hands. A few even asked Max to sign their foreheads, which Max certainly agreed to and I got a few pictures of.
"Lucia! Can I get a picture?" A girl, dressed in the very popular colour of this weekend, orange, yelled as we got ever so closer to the turn stiles "Of course" I smiled and left Max's side to go see the little girl who couldn't have been older than 12.
"H-hi I'm Jessie" She looked up in awe at me "Nice to meet you Jessie, I'm Lucia" I gave her a hug and she held on tight "You're so cool" She squealed as I let go "Thank you, I think you're pretty cool too" I chuckled "Anyway have a good time today" I looked over my shoulder to find Max almost finished "I will!" Jessie beamed and I stood back up straight and walked over to Max.
"You even have your own fans" Max said as he turned round and we started our walk to the turn stiles, passes in hand. "Of course I do" I grinned "But I'm still your NO.1 fan" Max scanned his pass and I did mine "And I am yours" I replied before we were met with a whole load of photographers. Turning towards the line of them, I waved however we kept walking till we got to the Red Bull garage.

"You remember everything we talked about earlier. Turn 11 and 12" I stood talking to Max as he was about to get in the car for FP3 "Yes I remember" Max nodded "Good, that's all we're out there for today. As soon as you perfect it, you come back in" I refreshed his memory as that aspect of our meetings he always seems to forget "Yeah, yeah I know" Max shoved his helmet on "You better" - "Drive safe Maxy" I placed my hand on his bicep that was concealed away by his race suit "I always do" He winked as soon as he could see me through the hole in his helmet.
Holding his drink as he got in the car, I waited for him to get comfy before handing him the drinks bottle. "Alright, we're ready both sides. Everyone to their stations please" Mason shouted over the engines, so I turned to Max who was ready waiting on his car and fist number him before I quickly made my way to the pit wall.
"Max, radio check" I said as soon as my headphones were on "Loud and clear Quinn" Max replied and I instantly held my thumbs up to say Max was ready and then Checo's engineer followed. Both cars were then allowed out for their warm up laps.
"Lucia, it's Crofty from Sky Sports" I heard the iconic interviewers voice flow through my headphones "Hey" I smiled up to the camera placed up the top, that was currently broadcasting me on Sky Sports so I gave them a wave. "It seems you've sent Verstappen out on a mission. Mind sharing?" He asked "Yeah so we analysed where Max needed to improve on track yesterday, and I pinpointed the issue, now I've sent him out with the task to correct it" I replied explaining the process whilst still keeping an eye on Max's lap times "Ah now, the question is... is he achieving what's needed? Or will he need more practice?" Crofty asked "Nope Max has it down now, the lap times are looking impeccable. Now we just have to hope he keeps it like that in qualifying" I giggle "Well I'll let you get one. Thank you Lucia" Crofty said "You're so welcome" I smiled up at the camera and gave them one last wave before radioing to Max.
"Hey Max. The turns are looking impeccable, well done. Box Box, Box, Box" I radioed, half expecting him to protest coming in "Perfect. Understood" He beamed and slipped down the pit entry lane before stopping in the pit box.
Watching the engineers place the tire blankets over the 4 wheels, I watched as Max took his helmet off and jumped out his car. Immediately running over to the pit wall and standing behind me. "How's Checo doing?" Max asked his teammates racing engineers "Lap times are looking good. Losing time in the turns you were loosing them in so now just need to focus on those" Checo's racing engineer replied and Max leant over me to focus on the screen "What are you doing?" I questioned "Just looking at my data. Problem?" He teased "Yeah, don't squash me in the process" I lightly pushed him off and he laughed.
Holding his hand out, I took Max's offer and gripped onto his now un-gloved hand and jumped down from the pit wall once FP3 was over. "You hungry?" Max asked as we wondered into the garage "Starving" I replied, slightly dramatic, however not far from the truth "Let's go get some lunch then" Max chuckled and then led the way to Red Bull's hospitality motor home.

Sitting in Max's drivers room, he changed into a fresh set of fire proofs and race suit for qualifying. "What are you looking at?" Max questioned as he caught me staring at him "Nothing much" I teased "Oh, nothing much yeah?" He hauled me off the sofa and picked me up so I was now taller than him "Yeah" I replied, holding back a laugh "Take that back" He brought me down a little so he could rest his forehead on mine. "I take it back!" I squealed as Max started to tickle me "Good girl" Max winked and then placed me back down "Come on let's get you down to that car" I opened the door and Max picked up his helmet before holding the door open up at the top so I could walk through, underneath his arm.

Following Lucia down to the garage, I couldn't take my eyes of her. The way she said hello to everyone as we walked past, the smile she does when she waved, made the corners of my mouth pull upwards. Everyone on this team loved her, and trust me, I'd be public enemy NO.1 if I ever hurt her.
"Max mate you good?" Brad tapped my back "Yeah yeah all good" I replied, returning from my apparent days. Placing my balaclava and helmet on, my chest tightened as I got into the car and Lucia wasn't there to wish me luck. I looked over to my left and found Lucia, talking with Christian and Mason. Letting out a sigh, I sat in my car and had Brad buckle my seat belt as another engineer placed my shoulder restraint on and then handed me my gloves.
"Everyone to their stations please" Mason yelled and Lucia quickly ran past my car tapping my helmet to get my attention. Shooting me a wide smile, she kept going till she got to the pit wall and placed her head phones on. "Drive safe Maxy" Lucia's voice flowed out of my earphones "Don't you worry Quinny" I replied and Lucia then turned round to watch me drive out the garage.
