"Why?" The two teenagers had transferred to her bed, she was laying against the headboard and he had his head on her lap. They had been in that position for at least an hour, her just playing with his hair in silence, the kiss still fresh in their minds. He was the first one to break the silence
"Why what?" she was pulled out of her day dream
"Why...do you like me?" that question had been around the boy's head since their kiss, because, how can someone like halley Larusso actually like him
"Is that even a question?" she had no doubt in her mind why did she like him so much "You are amazing" was the only answer she gave him
"No, I'm not"
"Yes, you are. You are insanely smart, sweet, very cute looking, caring and wear very cute sweaters, I could keep going all day" for what it felt like the tenth time that day Eli's whole face turned red, his eyes looked at her like she was the whole universe "You know you look cute when you blush?" she knew what she was doing with that comment, he broke eye contact and his face turned even redder, if that was possible
"Stop" he turned around and buried his head in her lap, hiding his embarrassed face, but in his lips was the biggest smile ever

Halley was living her best moment, she was the representation of happiness, also since Miguel mentioned his dojo something inside the girl sparked, all of the memories started floating in, she never really stopped training, she just did it on her own and not nearly as often as when she was younger, it mas mainly just a way to negative energy.
She was about to be done with her training when the door of her house opened and closed, she was so focused on her movements that she didn't even heard Sam came from behind her
"Ley" the girl called, making Halley jumped and turned around
"What the fuck, Sam?" she put her hand on her heart "You almost killed me" her cousin looked ashamed "What are you doing here?" Halley turned back around and started stretching
"You were right"
"I'm right about a lot of things, you're gonna have to be more specific" she knew exactly what she was right about, but decided to be petty about it
"Kyler's an asshole and Yasmine's a bitch" she sighed
"That's what I wanted to hear. Anything else you gotta say" Sam rolled her eyes playfully, she knew Halley, she wasn't mad anymore, she just wanted to make her point clear
"I'm sorry"
"There it is" Halley hugged her cousin
"You're sweaty" Sam scrunched her face in disgust and pulled away
"That's why I hugged you" Halley smiled sweetly and started walking inside the house, Sam right behind her "I'm gonna take a shower, go and make some popcorn and we can watch a movie" the brunette went upstairs, leaving a smiling Sam behind, the girl was just happy to have her cousin back

"No way" At the end they didn't end up watching a movie, but who needs a movie when their lives looked like one, Sam had told her about what had happened with Kyler at the theater and after stopping her from going to kill him in that moment she switched the topic to Halley and Eli, and now the brunette was telling her cousin about their kiss
"Yep"
"Did he take the first step?" Halley looked at her like she was the dumbest person in the world
"Obviously not, have you seen Eli? If I wanted anything to happen I had to do it myself"
"Okay, true" Sam nodded "But how was it?"
"Amazing" she slammed her head against the pillow to avoid screaming at the memory "He's amazing" she was smiling so hard her cheeks hurt
"You're whipped" Sam laughed out loud
"I would usually try to deny it, but I won't"

Sam walked in the cafeteria, with no idea where to sit, she couldn't sit with Moon and Yasmine and she was definitely not sitting with Kyler, she looked around for her cousin and her friends, but they were nowhere to be found, so when she saw aisha she thought it was the better choice
"Oh, don't even think about it" the short-haired girl said when Sam placed her tray on the table
"Come on I need a place to sit"
"You can go sit with Kyler. I hear he doesn't mind you suck" Sam didn't try arguing further so she walked away and straight to Kyler, touching his shoulder
"Think it's funny to spread lies about me?" she said when he turned to look at her
"What are you talking about? We saw a movie, and that's it. Well maybe I saw a little bit more than you" his friends laughed and Sam never felt more embarrassed in her life
"Yeah, we heard you got pretty 'choked up' " Halley walked into the cafeteria with the boys, just in time to hear that and see Sam throwing a tray to the floor
"Hey, guys. You know that billboard with a big-ass dick on it? I guess Sam take after her dad" and that was it for Halley, she's had enough of Kyler
"Hell no" she slammed her tray down on a table and walked angrily towards the group, the cafeteria in silence, waiting for what will happen, Kyler visibly gulping at the sight of the girl, his hand aching at the memory "What the fuck, is your problem? You think you're so cool spreading rumors about girls" it wasn't the first time he did that, he just was never held accountable for it and it was forgotten in a matter of days
"Why? You wanna be the next one to try?" he was trying to play it cool
"I'd rather drink a bucket of acid than get nowhere close your smelly dick" that hit a nerve, Kyler swinging at her, Halley easily dodging it and diverting his punch the other way. Miguel also slammed his tray down on the nearest table
"Hey, Kyler!" an angry Miguel had Kyler's attention "Why don't you shut the hell up and stop being such an asshole" Halley knew Miguel had gotten better at fighting, he had told her he'd been training every day since his mom let him go back to the dojo, so knowing he could handle the situation, she just stood there and looked
"Want another beat down, 'Rhea?" he pushed Miguel "I'm ready for your lame-ass karate this time "he pushed him again
"It's not lame-ass karate" Kyler threw a punch, Miguel with one hand grabbing his hand and with the other immobilizing his arm "It's Cobra Kai" Miguel punched him in the nose sending him a couple of steps back.
Kyler tackled Miguel into the table and then launched him to another one, putting him on a chokehold, one of which Miguel freed himself from with an elbow to the stomach. Then it wasn't just Kyler, now his friends too attacked. Halley and Sam looked at each other, ready in case they had to intervene, but it didn't look like they were gonna have to.
The other boys were barely able to make any contact with Miguel before he took them down, the fight started moving around the cafeteria, started going over tables, Miguel was using chairs and trays to his advantage. There were two people left, Kyler and Diego, that last guy was an asshole, he got with a bunch of girls and then called them sluts, he was disgusting, and a complete dickhead
Both boys stood up at the same time, Diego just never got close to Miguel, Halley put her leg on his way making him fall forward, and to make sure he wasn't gonna attack Miguel again, and also a little for revenge for all of the girls affected by him, she kneed him in the face. Everyone was too focused on Miguel taking out Kyler to notice, except Sam, who was besides her, with a proud smile.
Sam then turned to look at Miguel, admiration all over her face. Halley couldn't look more proud, the two Larusso girls were looking at the hispanic boy with very different expressions, but he appreciated both. Miguel just looked at Sam very similar to the way Eli looks at Halley.
The whole school was clapping and hipping him up, but his stare was in one person and one person only
"Hey! Get down from there right now" and it was all interrupted for the counselor Blatt walking in and taking Miguel away. Sam stayed staring at Miguel, and satyed still for a few seconds after he left, looking at nowhere with the same expression. Halley nudged her softly with her elbow, wiggling her eyebrows when her cousin looked at her
"Someone's got a little crush" the brunette quietly sang, with a mocking smile in her face
"Shut up"
"Ohhh, I will never shut up about this" Halley started walking backwards towards her friends, looking directly at Sam with a smirk on her face, the other girl just rolling her eyes playfully

I just realized how much I suck at writing action/fight scenes, which is ironic since i'm writing about a Karate show, there's also the fact that I don't know anything about karate, or it's moves, so join me on my ride of 'figuring out how to write a story based of a karate show without ever taken a karate lesson', this is gonna be one hell of a ride, not only for you as readers having to read my shit attempts of fighting scenes but also for me as a writer trying to write scenes the most accurate way possible
