Yeong & her manager arrived at the YG building parking lot. They directly walked towards elevator as soon as they walked out of car. Her manager pressed 10th floor which was Yang Pd's office room.
"Yeong, whatever you'll hear in the office, please don't freak out" Her manager told her.
"Why? What am i gonna hear?" Yeong asked in confusion.
"You'll know" her manager said.
Elevator stopped at the tenth floor & they started walking towards Yang pd's office.
After knocking, they both entered his office and saw him sitting on his chair, eyes focused on his laptop.
"We're here Pd-nim" her manager said gaining his attention.
"Please sit down both of you" he answered & gestured you guys to sit across him.
Yeong & her manager nodded & sat down.
"So Yeong, you don't know why i called this meeting right?" Yang pd asked.
"Yeah i have no idea" Yeong said.
"First, watch this" Yang pd said & turned his laptop screen towards her.
His laptop screen shows Twitter & "Yeoki" trending on #1 with 1.7M tweets. Yeong confusedly looked at the screen.
Yeong POV
"Yeoki? Who's Yeoki?"
I looked at Yang pd & my manager in confusion.
"Yeoki is the new popular ship that has been going on since morning" my manager said.
"Tw*tter, Yout*be, Inst*gram, Faceb*ok, Tikt*k. Every social medias is filled with Yeoki's clips" Yang pd said.
"Who are Yeoki anyway?" i asked softly.
Yang pd & my manager looked at each other & then Yang pd said.
"It's you and Niki" he said and my eyes widen in shock.
I was shocked not because we're shipped cause we all knew that me & Niki are gonna get shipped after the collab. But the fact that we're all over social medias overnight shocked me more.
"I watched few clips of Enhypen arriving at the airport and fans boomerang Niki with questions about you. We also know you are gonna go through the same thing when you'll be on public. This ship is so popular that it'll be hard to ignore everyone's question. I have decided to meet with Bangpd & discuss further about this matter. But till then, i want you to be careful" Yang pd explained.
"I'll be careful Pd-nim" i replied in serious tone.
"Here's your phone but please don't dig deep in these news" My manager said.
I nodded at him assuringly & take my phone back. I turned on my phone & saw calls & texts from my friends.
20 missed calls from Wonyoung
16 missed calls from Yeonjun oppa
10 missed calls from Niki
15 missed calls from Haruto
5 missed calls from Heesung oppa
7 missed calls from Jisoo unniee
I sighs internally after seeing all the missed calls from my friends & also many texts from them. I scrolled through the missed calls & was searching for a particular name but there was no calls nor texts from him. I was kinda disappointed.
That particular person was Yang Jungwon.
Jungwon POV
We all arrived Korea in few hours & there was many fans waiting for us at the airport as well. After waving at the fans & cameramans. We finally arrived at the dorm. As soon as we arrived at the dorm. I walked directly inside my room with no words.
I have alot of things running in my mind right now so i needed alone time.
[ Time Skipped]
I am scrolling through my phone for an hour now & all i see is Yeoki posts everywhere. I don't know why i was still on my phone even after knowing that it's ruining my mood. I finally decided to put my phone away. Just then, there was soft knock on my door. I walked towards my door & opened it & saw Heesung hyung standing in front of me.
"Are you okay? We all are in the living room. Do you wanna join?"Heesung hyung said with awkward tone.
"Um not today hyung. I am tired & i wanna rest" i replied him.
I wasn't tired. I just didn't wanted to face Niki. Not because i was angry at him but because it'll remind me of how fans ships him with Yeong.
"Jungwonie, come on! Don't be like this. You have to talk with everyone at some point, especially Niki." Heesung hyung said as if he read my mind.
I sighs internally.
"Hyung, Just not today!" i replied softly.
Heesung hyung nodded in understanding & then pat ky shoulder & said;
"Okay fine. But if you need anyone to talk, we all are here for you. Knock on anyone's door & we're all ears" Heesung hyung smiled & walked away.
I smiled lightly before walked inside & closing the door behind me.
Niki POV
We all sat down on living room except Jungwon hyung & Heesung hyung as he went to call Jungwon hyung to join us. I was busy scrolling through my phone as i saw many posts about me and Yeong. Everyone was busy on their phone, probably looking through the news. We waited for Heesung hyung to come with Jungwon hyung but we saw he returned alone.
"What happened? Where's Jungwon?" Jay hyung asked ad Heesung hyung sat beside him.
"He said he is tired and wanna rest" Heesung hyung sighs.
"I don't understand why Jungwon is reacting this way. Like seriously, fans doesn't know about Niki's & Yeong's friendship but we do. Fans are shipping them but we know they are just friends! Then why is he so down because of the news?" Sunghoon hyung said.
"It's not as easy as we think Sunghoon. He is in love with her. I know he says, she is just his crush but he is denying that he is totally in love with her" Jay hyung said.
"Yeah Jay hyung is right! He might say she is just a crush but she's more than a crush in real" Sunoo hyung chuckled.
"He is denying his feelings" Jake hyung giggled.
"Our leader-nim is in love" I said.
Everyone giggled quietly.
"Let's give him sometime, he'll be okay" Heesung hyung said.
Everyone nodded in unison.
Yeong POV
"I don't know! He haven't texted or called me at all" I said in a video call with Wonyoung.
"Maybe he is busy" she replied.
"I texted Niki a while ago & he said, everyone is at the dorm & is resting" I replied.
"Are you worried that he is ignoring you intentionally?" Wonyoung asked in teasing tone.
"I mean, Yeah i am" I mumbled slowly but she heard me.
"Ahhhhh you're cute! Just confess your feelings already! He totally likes you" Wonyoung said.
"No i can't! And that's not the point here! What should i do now?" i asked.
"If he isn't texting then you text him, Easy as that" Wonyoung shook her head in disbelief.
"I mean, what will i tell him?" I asked her.
"Just a casual hi" Wonyoung said in disbelief.
"It'll be awkward, no i can't do that" i shook my head.
"Aishhhh this girl, do it! Just act like nothing happened and text as you casually do" Wonyoung said.
"What if he doesn't reply? What if he'll leave me in seen? What if-" She cut me off in mid way.
"There are many What ifs but all you have to do is say"Hey how are you?" is it that hard?" Wonyoung facepalmed herself.
"Yes it is hard! You won't know! Try loving someone first" i said in disbelief.
"Just do it! Aishhhhh girl, i have practice now so I'm hunging up. Just text him & talk" Wonyoung said and hung up right away.
Wonyoung is the only person who knows about mine & Jungwon late night calls, our long talks, our secret friendship. I told her everything & she can't stop saying that he likes me which isn't true. He is just being a good friend. Anyway, she knows everything that happens in my life. She knows my every details.
I stared at my phone screen for a while before finally deciding to text Jungwon.
"Hey Wonie, how are you?" i texted him after gaining courage.
After sometime, my text was seen but he didn't reply. I sighs internally and was about to put my phone away but then someone called me. I grabbed my phone & saw it was Jungwon who was calling.
I internally panicked & started thinking:
"What should i do? Why is he calling? Can't he just reply to my text! What to do" i thought to myself but then picked up the call.
