2nd pov, [Very short chapter, sorry]
you woke up with bright and fresh sunlight, hitting your (s/c) skin. you tiredly move your head from the hard surface, eyes scanned around the place. you were in the store, confused at how you were even in the first place, a ringing doorbell caught your attention as you swing your head towards the direction "Oh, you awake" it was Cashier, he shove the key car to his pocket and walk to you "You fall asleep on me, so I carry you in here, hope you don't mind" he said
putting a paper bag of waffles "Here, I bought this earlier during the drive and I saw this woman sell waffles so I think to buy one for you, but she give me free instead" he sigh, pinching the top of his nose bridge "the woman said I'm hot, so I deserve a free threat"
he growled, you almost laughed "well, you look like one" you smiled, grabbing the bag before opening it, the waffles were still hot and looked super delicious. Cashier laughed loudly "Hah! me? hot? no way, look at me, I look like a walking zombie" he fall to the chair seemingly can't believe the word you just said
you took a bite, testing the sweet chocolate cream on your tongue "Hmm, you did but also you look good. Half of half" you mumbled while eating, swallowed it after that, he went quiet "Really?" he thought you said was a joke "Yeah" you continued to eat not bothered with his stare "I'm hot?..." he muttered under his breath still questioning it
the silence was cut short when he begin to speak "y/n" you look at him not used to hearing him called by your usual name "Yeah?" you gulped the last pieces and throw them into the trash "About the earlier morning, don't tell anyone how I act. I don't want anyone to know about that" he said
you nodded slightly "Don't worry, I'm not planning to" you half smiled, he sighed in relief "thanks" he lay his back for a rest.
"Hey" you called him as he open his left eye to look at you "You don't need to hide being nice, you know?"
"Not now, I feel much better for being who I am"
"The nice you is also who you are, my dude" you sigh
"That's my other personality. I'm not using them"
Then the glass door opened with a ring, seeing Player who just awaken, yawning "Player, how's your sleep?" you asked watching him adjusting his cap "Great, I almost forgot how to breathe by the way" he walk past but paused
walking back to look who was beside you, he then brings his gaze to the blanket that was around you "Oh? did I miss something?" he smiled, a sly face appearing and narrowing both of your confused faces, Cashier raised his eyebrow didn't get what his saying "What do you mean?"
"Hmm...nothing" Player chuckled before heading to get some random snack. You watch him saying something but not clear as he hummed, walking back he still have the same sly face "Alright, I want to pay" Cashier took the scanner as usual Player paid it and grab the item he bought "sorry for disturbing your romantic moment" Player winked and ran out
"excuse me?" you gasped, seeing him run to his house, Cashier growled "you may be annoying but he was the most annoying person I've talked to," he said "Hey, he was a nice person if you know him" you still remember how Player help you to clean your wound after he accidentally pushes you during the race
"Sure" he shortly replied, lighted up his cigarettes before inhaling them "Smokes is not good for health you know?" you sighed, he shrugged not caring about it "I know" you furrow slightly "then why did you do it anyway if you know it's not good?"
he sighs "Because I want to"
"geez..."
He stretches his arm, cracking his bones, and make a short exercise on the hips "Wanna help me around? After this, I'll buy us ice cream my threat"
He winked makes you immediately smile "Of course"
