Brooklyn's POV
All 6 of us sat in the cage. Darius was looking at the time for some reason. He was staring at it. But for what? I was near by Yaz as she was doing sit ups. She already reached 47. Then, I blurted out something.
Me: He left us.
Everyone looked at me, instead of Darius. His eyes were still on the time.
Me: I can't believe he just...left us.
I mean, think about it for yourselves. Kenji was with us for a year. He was the only person I had a really tight relation with, other than Darius, of course. And then...he betrays us.
Me: I don't get it.
Yaz: Why would Kenji do this?
Ben: You think you know a guy.
Sammy: Yeah. What you all said. What do you thi—
Darius had her wait. I think I heard him counting down 4-1 slowly. For what? Then he looked at the door. A BRAD came in. Then it left.
Darius: Okay. That BRAD comes in here every half hour. Which means we have 30 minutes to find a way out of here.
We started looking.
