It's been two months since my decision to join The Ravens and I haven't regretted it.
I have two new friends here, Cora and Pablo. We practically do everything together and since they hang out with me, their feared.
I still have to get used to the fact that I'm not ordinary Dilara Caesar anymore and that I'm Dilara De'Bardi.
I could inherit this entire mafia when the time comes.
I haven't heard anything from Adriano ore any of my old friends, including Mimi.
I guess they've all had to move on, I have mysteriously been wiped off the face of the earth.
Christianto brings me my Iced Coffees whenever I'm working out.
Dominico wants us prepared for something but we don't know what, we've just been training continuously for days.
When I walk around this place, conversations stop and everyone's quiet waiting for my move.
They look at me like I'm about to pull a gun out every five minutes.
Maybe I am, who knows?
I love the power that I now have.
But there's one mistake I'm never going to make again.
Fall in love.
It didn't do me any good the last time it happened, and I'm going to make sure it never happens again.
I'm never going to let my guard down like that ever again.
Love makes you weak, powerless, vulnerable.

I punch the boxing bag harder.
'Woah calm down or you'll punch a hole through the entire thing.' Pablo laughs.
He runs an hand through his messy brown hair.
'Let the girl release her anger.' Cora laughs.
I met Pablo when Dominico took me to the headquarters. He made quite the impression on me when he spilt coffee all over my clothes.
You should've seen the way his face paled when he found out who I was.
'I thought you were just a myth.' Is what he said to me.
'What time is it?' I ask.
'12:34,' Cora replies.
'Shit, I need to be getting ready for that announcement Dominico is making!' I exclaim. 'Oh my god he's going to kill me.'
I grab a water bottle and sprint back to my room.
I take a quick shower and dry my hair.
Someone knocks on my door and I answer it.
'I figured you might need some help choosing an outfit.' Cora smiles.
'Yes please,' I reply.
She comes in the room and we walk into my wardrobe.
She pulls out a black suit with a laced corset shirt underneath it.
'This is going to look amazing on you,' she says.
'Thank you,' I say.
I take it off her and put it on.
She hands me some matching heels and then start on my hair.
Cora helps me out it in a bun and I quickly do my makeup.
I make sure that every inch of my old snake tattoo is covered in foundation.
'Ok we need to go to Dominico now,' I say.
We both run to his office.
I walk into his office and see him sitting on his chair.
'I thought you were going to be late,' he says.
'I'm never late,' I reply straightening out my dress.
I can see Christianto holding back a laugh from the side of the room.
He pulls back the curtains, brightening up the room and there are two doors that lead to a huge balcony.
'Christianto will be making the announcement since he is my second in command.' Dominico explains.
We walk out onto the balcony and I look down and see thousands of people crowded down below, watching us.
'Good luck,' Cora whispers giving me a little nudge.
'You're all probably wondering why you've been called here.' Christianto's voice booms throughout the place.
All these people are here, for me.
'I'm sure you've all heard rumours of an heir being found.' He says. 'I'm here to tell you that the rumours are true, we have found The Raven's granddaughter.
The Raven?
I need to remember that not everyone knows Dominico's identity as a precaution, so he goes by a code name.
'Let me introduce to you Dilara De'Bardi!' He yells.
I walk forward and the crowd starts talking to one another.
'Silence.' Christianto says.
Everyone immediately goes quiet.
Christianto looks at me and gives me a reassuring nod.
I clear my throat.
'I am Dilara De'Bardi, the heir of The Ravens and I'm ready to lead you all.' I say.
People start cheering but I hear the word traitor being thrown across.
I grab my gun and shoot into the air in warning.
'I know that you all know I had a relationship with Adriano Giovanni,' I say. 'But that is over, I was naive and blinded by love, which I assure you will never happen again.'
'How can we trust you!' Someone yells.
'I will do everything in my power to take him down.' I say. 'You may all think that this is an empty promise, but Christianto trusts me and all of you should trust in him.'
The crowd erupts in cheering and clapping. People are shooting bullets into the air.
Christianto smiles at me and I walk back into Dominicos office.
'You are going to make an amazing leader one day.' He says.
'Thank you,' I reply.
Cora smirks at me.
'You sure you can keep that promise you made out there?' She asks.
'I'll do everything I can.' I reply.
Adriano's hurt me too much.
He ruined me, and it's only fair that I return the favour.
'Dilara there's someone here who wants to see you,' a bodyguard comes up to me.
'Who is it?' I ask.
'She won't give us a name, she just says that she wants to see you.' He replies.
'Ok, take me to her.' I reply.
I follow the bodyguard and he leads me to a huge hall and standing in the middle is a pregnant girl being held back by three bodyguards.
I walk closer to her and she turns around to face.
'Who are you, what do you want?' I ask.
She turns to me and my face drops.
Mimi stands before me.

Guys I was joking last chapter but this is then end of Dilara (for now....). I really hope that you've all enjoyed this story and thank you so much for all the love and support I have received!
And remember if I didn't have the sudden urge to rewatch Twilight in January none of this would've happened 😭😭😭
