Xiao has been dating the traveler for a while now, he wanted to get blessings from the traveler's family or more like he wanted to know what they thought of him. Since the Adeptus wanted also make a good impression and this request has been aching in his mind to know more about his own lover.
The traveler's family isn't so different from his, and its kind of sad to think but maybe this could a second chance?
Maybe if he deems himself worthy enough he could be considered one of them?
Or atleast know that they approve of him dating the traveler.

As he walks something at the corner of his eye catches his attention, he sees a small hair brooch that would suit his lover. It wasn't too fancy nor too simple and seemed like it would suit his lover's fashion taste.
But would it be durable for travelling or going to dangerous missions? Xiao must factor all points before buying this brooch for his lover. In the end he decided to get it for him.
As he walks away from jewel shop he sees a family, he remembers his lover's words.

The two lovers met at one liyue's ruins, it was afternoon and the traveler planned a picnic.

After a bit chit chat and taste testing, Xiao finally found the courage to ask.

It felt embarrassing now said out loud but atleast he doesn't have to say it again.
The blonde was a little shocked and got nervous all of the sudden.

Xiao curses at himself for not thinking if it was too early in a relationship now to ask that.

"You'd rather not visit now.. because the house is a little messy and Dainsleif is still on his 'duty'. And Paimon..."
The blond stopped explaining from further explanation remembering what she did.
" I also think I have forgotten to tell them I had a lover in the first place..."

After the picnic, Aether had alot to settle.
When he reached home he called all of them for a meeting..
"So... dinner's not ready? Wait don't tell me its my turn to cook.."
Lumine asks as she sits on the table.
"Actually yes, it is your turn.."
Lumine groans, she was feeling a bit lazy now and looked at Paimon's who was ever so happy to have any of them to cook for her.
"Buts thats not what I called for."
"Then what?"
Paimon asks confused.
"Well... erm do you guys know that Xiao is my boyfriend?.."
Both of them spits nonexistent water and goes with 'wth' face to Aether.
"I take that as a no..."
After a long session of question answering till the two were satisfied.
"Xiao wants to meet you all! So I was thinking that we could arrange dinner for him?"
Though they both were reluctant in a way they agreed seeing how happy Aether is.
"So when is he gonna come?"
"When dainsleif arrives home!"
This time Lumine and Paimon chugs a glass of water to process.
"Eh sure..."
They both said in unison
"Great so its settled... I'll tell sunshine!~"

Both of them sit baffled at the dining table trying to process that Aether has a lover and he is going to visit tomarrow.
After preparing the house for Xiao to visit, Xiao himself was nervous.
It was the first time dainsleif meets the Vigilant Yaksha.
He's heard that Adeptus Xiao was the one who saved Aether from falling so he is grateful.
Lumine was just passing by her brother's room and saw that Aether was getting ready, he who looked as if he was going to a ceremony- A sudden thought pops into her head.
"Wait Aether... were we supposed to wear dresses!?"
"Hm? No. I just wanted to wear something that matches the hair brooch he gave me."
"Oh.. you look stunning!"
"I know! I bet he's going to be tomato when he sees me~"
'Tomato?...' Lumine finds it hard to imagine, she's only met the adeptus once and he didn't look so friendly...
But she trusts her gut that this dinner will be fine.
Lumine commented, Relieved because she did not want to spend hours in her closet trying to find the right outfit.

Paimon points on the sofa and everyone sits down. Xiao couldn't help but feel a little out of place.
"So how long have you been together?"
Dainsleif asks as he didn't get the chance to know unlike the other two.
"For about 8 months..."
"Ah..."
"Yeah we were shocked too since he didn't tell us for 8 whole MONTHS!?"
Paimon over reacts.
"Speaking of Aether where is he?"
Dain asks
"Oh he's getting ready"

Aether gets downstairs. Xiao eyes locks with Aether's, they both couldn't help but blush. It seems both of them were thinking about each-other.
It was silent moment while Aether sits next to Xiao and slowly hold hands.
Lumine couldn't help but feel single.
Paimon was trying not to gag, she was not fond with the topic love.
And Dain was happy for them.
