The gang member dragged me into a cave-like area. I leaned against the rocks. I couldn't move a muscle. I heard other running footsteps. I knew what was going on. The man brought me here to tell his other group members to come. I closed my eyes and cried.
"Shh."
The man got close to me and covered me. He held me in his arms trying to keep me quiet. The footsteps gradually calmed down and was heard in the distance. The man let go of me.
"Keep quiet, you're going to be safe in here."
I was confused. Was this a trap? My tears started to come again. The man noticed me about to make loud noises.
"Shh. We have to keep quiet here."
